1. What is your dream piece?

7. What inspired you to join the fashion?

When I was around 6-8 I got the FRUiTS book. Fashion was already developing as a special interest of mine, so naturally I fell completely in love with the fashions in the book, including lolita. I spent many years as a child wishing I could wear lolita and other J-fashion, doing silly things like googling "lolita dress" and opening what was almost definitely milanoo replicas in a million tabs and then closing them.

Around age 11 or 12 I made a friend who was also into lolita and Jfashion, and we sort of discovered the online community together, and started learning more about the rules and culture and everything. In 2011 a couple of things happened: 1) I saw a lolita in my city which sort of made me realise it could be a reality for me, and 2) I went to London where I discovered an IRL lolita shop in camden where I convinced my mum to help me buy a full coord. It was ita as hell, like proper old fashioned ita, but I didn't realise of course because I was a kid and a noob.

Basically I've always loved the fashion and it was inevitable lol.

9. How does your day to day style compare to your lolita style?

I consider lolita to be part of my day to day fashion tbh. I like wearing a lot of different styles it sort of just depends on how I'm feeling. Though realistically when I'm at home I'm just in my pyjamas because even though fashion is my special interest I've gotta balance it out with being comfy when I'm not doing anything haha

Are you named after anyone? I was named after the character Jennifer on Days of our Lives.

When was the last time you cried? Last night, I just finished rereading LOTR and it feels like I'm in mourning.

Do you have kids? Nope

What sports do you play/have you played? I only played sports in PE class when I had no choice lol. I'm not at all athletic, never have been.

Do you use sarcasm? Sometimes

What is the first thing you notice about people? Probably their hair and make up if they are wearing any.

What is your eye color? Hazel/greenish?

Scary movies or happy endings? I like both. And scary movies can sometimes have happy endings.

Any talents? I can draw pretty decently but I haven't made any art in a long time :( I need to start again. And I think I'm pretty good at make up, I get compliments at work a lot.

Where were you born? In Maryland, close to Baltimore.

What are your hobbies? Lolita fashion, reading, video games (mainly jrpgs)

Do you have any pets? Hahaha, yes. 4 cats, 2 rabbits, and 7 chinchillas. I really want to get another cat, saving up for a british shorthair, they are expensive.

How tall are you? 5'3''

Favorite subject in school? Art and French. Though a certain art teacher I had in high school made me hate it a bit.

Dream job? If I wasn't chronically ill, I would have loved to have been able to pursue performance and dance. I miss my old community theatre so much. Realistically, I would love to find a work from home type job, or anything where I don't have to interact with customers lol.

Are you named after anyone? Not that I know of, I think my parents' rationale for my name was, "Oh, this sounds pretty."

When was the last time you cried? I think a few days ago, when watching one of the few good parts of an otherwise very stupid TV show.

Do you have kids? Nope, and I don't have any plans to change that!

Scary movies or happy endings? Ooh, scary movies! Though I am not opposed to happy endings, nor do I think scary movies and happy endings are opposites or mutually exclusive. I also find that in my fanfics I tend towards happy or at least hopeful endings (even my fanfics for scary movies).

Any talents? Uh, my prodigious memory for useless information.

What are your hobbies? Reading, writing, random arts and crafts, blogging on Tumblr, watching movies, listening to music, playing video games, bootleg trading I guess.

Do you have any pets? I had a cat, but she passed away last April.

Favorite subject in school? History, but I was also very fond of English and biology.

Dream job? I don't think I have one, but I am happy as a teacher and I can see myself doing that for the rest of my career.
