Access All Areas Training is registered by ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority - provider #52312) & the Department of Treasury Tasmania to deliver the Responsible Service of Alcohol course (SITHFAB002) for Online and Classroom delivery.
The Commissioner has determined that he will recognise courses that deliver the national competency SITHFAB002- Provide responsible service of alcohol conducted by AAAT.
Upon successful completion of the Tasmanian RSA unit you will receive the RSA National Statement of Attainment - SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol.
RSA training provides licensees, liquor serving staff and security employees with knowledge and awareness about the responsible service and consumption of liquor in premises where liquor is sold.
A person applying to hold a liquor licence is required to undertake RSA training unless exempted by the Commissioner for Licensing.
A licensee must not allow a person to serve liquor on licensed premises unless the person:
Has successfully completed an approved course (RSA training course); or
Has been an employee of the licensee for less than 3 months and is:
Undertaking a RSA training course; or
Formally enrolled in a RSA training course to be held within three months of commencing employment.
An approved course means a course of instruction or training in the service of liquor, approved by the Commissioner.
