Hobbies: Gardening and Reading.

Likes: Her loved ones, her mini library, psychology, her butterfly pin, and star gazing.

Dislikes: Being alone, the room being too quiet, getting disrespected, demons, oranges, and swimming.

Weird habit: She wakes up at 4 am to make herself some tea, mindlessly appreciating her garden until the sun starts to rise, (she's weirdly patient) then she waters her plants. She usually goes off to do some morning chores after that.

Her temperament: Sayaki does her best to avoid fights, but she is not a pushover, and will get down and dirty if she has to. She even dared to visit the Rengoku estate to scold the Shnijirou Rengoku for neglecting his children. He may be a deadbeat father, but he wouldn't hit a woman, especially if she's trying to protect his son from him. He ends up mumbling an unaudible apology before leaving, with his head bowd down. Sayaki didn't feel much guilt, but she hopes he learns. She can get passive aggressive, but that's rare, as she is quite open and straightforward with her feelings.

Favourite animal and pet: Well Sayaki really likes birds, she used to own a baby crow, unknown to her, it was a Kasugai crow. It strayed far from where they raise the crows, and got hurt. Ten year old Sayaki found it, and took it to get treated at the local vet. Sayaki deeply treasured the crow, and named it Tsuki. She took care of Tsuki for over a year before it just flew away one day, and never came back. She searched for days before branding it dead, and made a mini shrine for it. She continues to hold out hope to see Tsuki again.

Fun fact: Sayaki tries to avoid being too sentimental towards objects, but she finds herself cherishing the butterfly pin, lady Kochou (Kanae and Shinobu's mother) gave to her as a child, since their families were always quite close.

A sense she'd go insane if she lost: Hearing. Sayaki is the type of person that really loves music, and rhythmic noise. She loves listening to birds chirp in the morning, and she loves children's laughter, it makes her happy. She never spends too much time alone, and would unconsciously find herself making noises to keep herself from breaking something. She hates too much silence, which likely stems from her fear of being left behind by her loved ones. She might as well go insane, if she ever goes deaf.

Facts about her from the old info post: She got married when she was aged twenty years old. It was a happy marriage, but they've started to get distant lately. Her husband didn't like getting too involved in the corps, since he feared for his wife's well-being.

Sayaki deeply admires the demon slayers, but when Kanae suggested she become one as well, she declined, because she was well aware of her capabilities, and she knew she wouldn't stand the harsh training.

She's a city girl, but moved into the country after the battle. She used to work at a clinic in Tokyo, but after she heard the news of shinobu's death, she rushed over to attend her old friend's funeral. When she heard shinobu's will, she decided to quit working at the clinic she used to work at and become a helper at the mansion. She deeply regrets not visiting more often, and she wished she could've spent more time with Shinobu, but there's no changing the past.

She was able to form good friendships with the hashira, she likes to stroll through the estate gardens with Tomioka, and enjoys having silent tea time with Shinazugawa, it's very calming. Mitsuri and her were able to get close very quickly, they often try out new recipes and restaurants together.

Now that the Kochous were dead, she took it upon herself to take care of the butterfly Girls and the residents of the estate. She's quite furious on how young everyone is, and is ready to adopt the little caterpillars, she just needs an opening.

Sayaki has freckles on her shoulders, she got it from her foreign grandmother.

She'd love thriller mystery movies, and sugary coffee.

She'd enjoy Astronomy and Charms if she were to ever attend Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Design info: Her hair and eye color would change if she were to be written in any other universe than kny. Her hair would be platinum blonde, and her eyes would be Auburn brown.

Kanao's development (if you call it that) in my au.➜

After everything she's been through, kanao is now closer to her siblings, and is more confident in making decisions and speaking her mind. She's still on the quieter side, but she secretly would love to converse with the others more. During her recovery and rehab training, she started becoming a bit more sarcastic, zenitsu wasn't the best influence on her.

She and aoi reached a good compromise, kanao would handle the paperwork on Sundays Tuesdays and Thursdays, and aoi would handle it on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. On Friday, they would be sorting all the new patient treatments, and get through all the orders and equipment together. The caterpillars would be in charge of house keeping together. Sayaki wanted to be of use, so even though her medical knowledge is basic, she tries to help around by taking care of the flowers and receiving their monthly orders if kanao and aoi aren't available (most of the time. They have a tight schedule)

Kanao started bonding with inosuke, both of them love aoi's cooking, and inosuke started complaining on how he won't be able to eat it as much as he used to. Kanao likes teaching inosuke how to write, she noticed that he couldn't read or write, so she and nezuko teamed up to teach him. Nezuko was very good at teaching, and she enjoyed being around inosuke, he was very chaotic and funny. Kanao was good at handling inosuke, so she was able to keep him from breaking his chalk board whenever he got frustrated. They're still trying to teach him the hiragana, and progress is slow, but it's there.

Kanao and nezuko became pretty close, nezuko admires and looks up to kanao, and kanao sees nezuko as a little sister. Nezuko is interested in becoming a demon slayer, but she wasn't allowed to, since tanjiro is as overprotective as ever, and he couldn't stand seeing the sister he fought so hard for throwing herself back into that kind of life.

Kanao started wearing shinobu's hairpin, and easily cries whenever she looks at it for too long. She would do her best to move on for shinobu and Kanae's sake, but she couldn't help but feel like crying from time to time and hold on to some things. For example, she still caries her coin around, it felt like she was carrying kanae with her, and that made her feel safe, and after some fair research, she was able to find the tailor who made kanae's haori, and payed a good amount of money to get one just like it. She really liked the pattern, and wished to wear it for sentimental reasons, she knew she was doing the exact opposite of moving on, but she decided to ignore the fact because her heart told her to. The sound of logic and the voice of her heart were always contradicting each other which usually gave kanao a headache, making everything more complicated.

This how she looks like after completing her recovery and is now back in the field. She's now wearing her ponytail back, since she realized it was very impractical in battle.

Editing this was HARD, but I pulled through. I'm proud of myself for managing to do her haori and eye.

She's become very close with tanjiro, being very comfortable around him, and having tea time when they're both free. Kanao teaches tanjiro the weirdest things he might never need to know, like how to cut apples to make them resemble flowers.

Zenitsu on the other hand likes training with her, since it helps test his speed. They don't hang out alone much, but kanao picked up some sarcasm from the few conversations they had. And since zenitsu is a bit more tame, talking to him became a bit easier.

I've procrastinated long enough!

I am going to finally write the Zenitsu chapter of the therapy sessions! LET'S GOOOOOOOOO.

*before zenitsu gets to go inside the room, aoi gives Sayaki some fair warnings about zenitsu's behavior*

Zenitsu: excuse me... Is anyone here? *he opens the door after sleepily knocking*

Sayaki: what a pleasant day to see you, agatsuma-san.

Zenitsu: IT IS INDEED, MADAM!

Sayaki: Please calm down agatsuma-san! I would like you to know that I am a married woman, so I would appreciate it if you would behave yourself!

Zenitsu: Oh, I... See. *he says sitting down with a blush of both embarrassment and disappointment.*

Sayaki: Agatsuma-san, you know why you're here right?

Zenitsu: *nods, head still bowed down*

Sayaki: Then would you mind talking a little about yourself? A small introduction would be a good start.

Zenitsu: *hesitates, but then slowly starts talking* Well, as you may already know, my name is Agatsuma Zenitsu, I am going to turn 17 very soon. I am an orphan who has no brothers or sisters, and I might as well be labeled homeless. I was taken in by my jii-chan a few years ago, and was trained to be a demon slayer to pay off my debts.

Sayaki: So you came into this lifestyle because you were indebted money? May I ask how you got into the spiral of debt?

Zenitsu: I kept buying expensive gifts for my ex until she decided I wasn't worth it and ditched me for a much more handsome and rich man from Tokyo. *he seethed at the memory of that shameless disgusting man and his gold digging ex* It was the 7th time that happened and I was already in a huge mountain of debt, so my only escape was letting jii-chan pay it off in exchange of becoming his successor.

Sayaki: That explains... Alot. It seems that you are desperately trying to get married from what I heard, and that you have your eyes set on Kamado-chan.

Zenitsu: *intensively nods* I'd lie and I'd kill to keep her with me.

Sayaki: Agatsuma-san, do you not realize that this destructive mindset will just make you feel worse?

Zenitsu: *tilts head questioningly*

Sayaki: From what you said, you had seven girlfriends, and what lead you to the path of becoming a demon slayer, is falling too hard in love with someone, who you barely know, or someone who doesn't love you back. I know it hurts, but what can you do? I've been here for a few days. I saw you interact with Kamado-change from afar, she clearly sees you as a younger brother from the way she treats you.

Zenitsu: No way.. NEZUKO-CHAN WOULD NEVER!

*elsewhere*

Nezuko: *sneezes and feels a chill down her spine*

Back with zenitsu:

Zenitsu: *intensively crying* no woman would ever love me! It's not fair! Even nezuko-chan considers me worthless! I am totally pathetic! If I wasn't a cowardish crybaby then maybe nezuko-chan would've loved me! It's not fair! It's not!

Sayaki: AGATSUMA-SAN! CALM DOWN PLEASE! *loudly clears her throat as zenitsu's cries reduce to sobs* so it seems that you don't have any positive feelings for yourself-

Zenitsu: OF COURSE I DON'T! WHAT WOULD ANYONE LIKE ABOUT ME? I AM A PATHETIC LOSER, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I'M TOO SCARED, AND I REALLY TRY TO CHANGE! I REALLY WANT TO! BUT I CAN'T! I REALLY WANTED TO BE A HASHIRA FOR JII-CHAN AND MAKE HIM PROUD! I REALLY WANTED TO! *Starts crying like a 5 year old boy who lost his candy*

Sayaki: *gets up and gives zenitsu a hug* I believe you really need a hug.

Zenitsu: *continues to cry, hugging Sayaki tighter, and finally getting the comfort he really needed*

*they stay like that for about 10 minutes, by then, zenitsu's eyes are puffy and his throat is coarse*

*Zenitsu continues talking about his trauma and past, how kaigaku had treated him, how awfully lonely and always hungry he was as a child. He also spoke of how he really wants someone who loves him, and take care of him, to love him in his ups and downs, and to be there for him through his highs and lows. Someone he could truly love.*

Zenitsu: I- I want a family.

Sayaki: So why not have the familial love you get from your friends? Do you really NEED a wife? Or do you just want someone to love and be there for you? Just like a family!

Sayaki: Then you can be the best friend and brother to all of your friends! A wife is not necessary! Yes falling in love is beautiful, but you can't force it. Being around people you care for is just as great!

Zenitsu: Maybe, I guess. *he says bowing and waving* can I come by again later? It was nice chatting with you.

Sayaki: unless it's at an ungodly hour, then you are most definitely welcome to come by, I hope this session was helpful to you in anyway.

*later that day, zenitsu was very quiet and didn't really talk to anyone, he didn't even refuse nor cry when he was given his medicine. Tanjiro and the rest are very concerned, wondering what happened in that room that made him go so quiet.*

Zenitsu: yes, thank you for your time.

Side note: Zenitsu will still be a bit whiny, but he will gradually mature, currently, he's just tired from all the crying and trauma telling he did. He also has a lot of processing to do, in the end of the day he's still Agatsuma thick skull Zenitsu. He will also need to go through his character development arc, he just needs time.

1st patient, Shinazugawa Sanemi!

Sanemi: *exits the room*

???: !

Sanemi *turns his head and sees a young woman* uh yes, urm hi.

(I hc sanemi to be more awkward around women than genya, but is good at hiding it)

???: I'm sorry I didn't see you there! Good day to you, sir! I suppose you're the famed wind hashira. Would you like to follow me?

*they enter a room and ??? Closes the door*

???: oh dear I don't believe I introduced myself! My name is Haga Sayaki, pleasure.

Sanemi: likewise

*they sit down, and Sayaki hands him a paper he could fill out so she can base his treatment off of.*

(in my au he can read and write, it makes things easier)

Sayaki: I would just like you to know that whatever you tell me here will not be leaked out, your privacy and recovery are my top priority. While you fill the sheet out, can I ask you a few questions that aren't included in the paper?

Sanemi: *slowly nods*

Sayaki: great! I'll start. How old are you shinazugawa-san? I'm 23.

Sanemi: *mutters still feeling awkward* I'll be turning 22 soon.

Sayaki gives him a sad stare. That said 'how young.'

She continues to ask questions like:

'how long were you a demon slayer?'

'Around 5 to 6 years'

'do you have any hobbies other than demon slaying?'

'... I collect beetles *he mutters with a flush*'

'what a fun hobby! I love insects, they are very fascinating.'

'are you married? I was married 3 years ago'

'no.' *curt and firm, interesting, Sayaki was taking mental notes*

And they go back and forth for a while until he finished filling the sheet out, pausing every once in a while asking if he really had to answer some questions, to which Sayaki responds that it's his choice but it might differentiate her treatment approach. He ends up answering most of the questions, leaving out the familial relationship category.

Sayaki reads the paper and slightly nods.

Sayaki: Shinazugawa-san, it seems to me that you have a struggle with keeping relationships, and I've heard rumors of your brother. I'm so very sorry for your loss. You have my deepest condolences.

And a moment of silence was between the two before Sayaki spoke up.

Sayaki: I also heard another rumor... It said you weren't on the best terms, so could you tell me about that?

Sanemi:....

Sayaki: Shinazugawa-san. Here you'll have to eventually get out of your comfort zone, so take your time, I'll be waiting for your answer.

Sanemi stays silent for a few minutes, contemplating, not wanting to talk about it, but also feeling like he should make the most of this, since he'd probably never get another chance to let it out. He goes back and forth in his head before ultimately deciding to decline.

Sayaki: I see... I suppose you're still not ready to talk about that, no worries, if you ever feel ready, you can come find me later, I'll be working here as a helper, so I'll be here more often.

Sanemi: *nods dismissively*

Sayaki: as for my opinion, I think that changing your usual atmosphere, and taking long walks, picking up new hobbies would be very calming for you, you seem to be very stressed and rather troubled, so being in calming atmospheres would be better for your mental health. I'll remind you, my office is always open, so if you want someone to talk to, or even have tea with, I'll make time.

Sanemi: I see, thank you for your time. * he quickly bows and raises his hand indicating he will be taking his leave.*

Sayaki: It is my job to help, have a delightful day.

Sanemi exists and sighs loudly, he then starts silently scolding himself while heading to the garden. It was a relatively calm place, so he thought he'd go sit there a little.

Sayaki: *leaves to go to tell aoi to call the next patient, she spotted sanemi on the way, but she felt like she shouldn't interrupt*

Sayaki: Aoi-Chan! Please send in the next patient.

Aoi: of course, Sayaki-san. *she says slightly sweat dropping*

2nd patient, Agatsuma Zenitsu!

(I don't like how the art of Sayaki came out, I think that if I drew it on paper it would be better, I'll retry to draw it next time)

Edit: I changed the way the skit concluded, because it was probably not the best, I don't know any thing about psychology, but after some character study, I now know that Sanemi won't open up to someone he just met right off the bat, even if it is a doctor. Even if he did, I don't think it'd help him, it'd feel forced. And let's be honest, opening up about your decade old trauma is literally impossible to someone like Sanemi.
