1. Song of the year?

It didn’t come out early enough in the year to be my top song on spotify wrapped, but Enough by Jonah Taylor was definitely my favorite, it Saw me��

2. Album of the year?

I don’t usually listen to albums in full, but I’ll say Declan McKenna’s Zeroes because it was the only album I really listened to all the way through, and because of ‘rona I had to wait all year for it to be released because they kept pushing the date back

4. Movie of the year?

Hmm, I can’t say there was a movie I watched this year that like, changed my life, but Little Women definitely touched me, and I really enjoyed The Old Guard. I finally watched Spotlight for the first time, which was my greatest failure as a political communication student that I hadn’t seen it until this year. Final answer might have to be Enola Holmes though, purely because I’ve watched it twice and I don’t often rewatch things and it was cute

13. How was your birthday this year?

Not spectacular, I’m a spring birthday so we were still in proper lockdown then, nothing was even sort of open to get takeout or anything like that, but my mom made me some yummy food and the cake was one of my favorites I’ve had (I’d quite like to make it again soon, it was so tasty). I’ve definitely had worse birthdays than this year, and I’m quite looking forward to my birthday next year!!

I might make that the next thing I check out on Netflix. There are always great anime that fall through the cracks and I can name at least three shows I like that I didn't watch until years after they premiered.
