yes!! i asked demidorks here on tumblr when i heard that something Terrible had happened to jason in the burning maze and she told me that yeah he died, rick riordan’s ghostwriter killed my bb, and me n a friend stayed up till 3 am crying over it, it was terrible. but tbh i didn’t have much hope on rick left after boo, so it’s not like i was that invested in toa. 

honestly it resurfaced absolutely every pjo/hoo feeling i used to have in 2013 and brought my love for the characters back. Canon, tho? idk her.
