😢 Regrann from @dbphotogallery - If it’s not eruptions it’s the gases. Or the burnt forests. The lost homes and inaccessible streets. And the cracks. Let us not Forget the cracks.... cracks everywhere! the amount of devastation is overwhelming....Leilani will NEVER be the same if anything is left after Pele is done with her powerful dance. Im tired exhausted and emotionally drained. The last 6 days I’ve slept maybe a total of 20 hours. Relentlessly covering every inch of this community over and over and over ... When will it End!? The very similar eruptions in almost the exact same places in 1955 lasted 85 days! EIGHTY FIVE DAYS!! That’s almost 3 months! I can’t fathom that... Leilani looks like a war zone. It feels like a war zone. The majority of its streets have lava across it at some point making access difficult and one could be trapped. I would like to talk about the aftermath... but we can’t do that until the eruptions actually stop. What will become of Leilani? Will it become a lost and forgotten ghost town like kalapana remnants after the eruptions in 1980? I ask myself.... what does the future hold? #Repost @dbphotogallery with @get_repost ・・・ The Luana Street eruption by far was my most epic and intimate moment with Pele, so far...I got there before sunrise, in the dark of the night. 200 foot plus fountains of lava a lit up the sky, making me feel right at home. Despite being here completely alone with nobody else around I felt safe I felt welcomed I felt like the sole audience to this private show displaying before my eyes as I held my arms up to the sky my body filled with a feeling like none other I have ever felt in my life. Pele embraced me. She beckoned me while she warmed my heart with the glow of her dance on my face. I took a step closer and then closer and closer again. I stood there, selfless, alone, and bowed in front of her. The overwhelming joy of her raw power brought a tear to my eye. Tears of happiness. Tears of Love. I have waited my whole life to be here. And yet, there I was. Right there. Alone with her. Right where I was supposed to be. Even as I struggle to find the words for this post my arms tremble and I get a lump in my throat. My hairs on end. I have felt this before. Perhaps a previous lifetime ago. Everything happens for a reason. The things I have learned about myself and the frequencies around me prove time and time again that when my intentions harmonize with the frequency I radiate, reality wraps itself around me like a warm blanket.... and in this case Peles blanket. I love you Pele. I am in awe. I am eternally grateful for our time together. What you have given me cannot be described by words and it transcends all measurability of time and space. Your eternal light has guided me beyond the depths of myself and the universe, into a world of fluidity, just like your flow. I am humbled, and to you I bow my head. Honor. Respect. Dignity.
