Delthea/FH!Delthea C-A Support
Written by @unsuspecting-person
C SUPPORT
Delthea: Alright, (y/n) said they summoned some new Heroes… I wanna go talk to them!
Delthea: Wait, is that another me? She looks weird… and gloomy…
[Delthea runs over to FH!Delthea.]
Delthea: Hey, other m- AGH!
[Delthea steps back as she looks in shock at FH!Delthea, glaring at her normal counterpart and preparing to cast a Death spell on her.]
Delthea: Hey! What’s the big idea!?
FH!Delthea: Who are you to approach me in such a way!?
Delthea: Well, I’m you, jerk!
FH!Delthea: Hmm… you do look similar to me…
FH!Delthea: But it doesn’t matter. I am Tatarrah’s servant, and I will kill his enemies.
Delthea: Ta-who? Jeez, what’s with your attitude? And… eye color… and dark flames spiraling near you…
FH!Delthea: Enough of this nonsense. Tell me, are you an enemy of Tatarrah?
Delthea: Um… no? I don’t even know who he is!
FH!Delthea: In that case leave. I have no business with you.
Delthea: [scoffs] Okay, fine! But not because you asked!
Delthea: (Wait a minute, all of this sounds familiar…) Wait, before I leave, can I ask you a question?
FH!Delthea: ...What do you want to know?
Delthea: Soo, I was just curious: when did you start following Ta-whatever’s orders?
FH!Delthea: I followed Tatarrah’s command for as long as I can remember. His will is my will.
Delthea: ...And you don’t remember anything before that? Nothing at all?
FH!Delthea: [closes her eyes for a moment, then speaks] Sometimes… I see flashes of me fighting with someone, but I can’t remember his face or his voice.
Delthea: [mutters] Brother…
FH!Delthea: But that doesn’t matter. If he’s an enemy of Tatarrah, I will kill him all the same. Much like those Zofian scum trying to trespass the sluice gate that leads to Rigel.
Delthea: Wait, WHAT!? That’s what he told you to do!?
FH!Delthea: You seem troubled. Does this concern you?
Delthea: Of course it concerns me! You’re just talking casually about KILLING YOUR OWN BROTHER!
[For a moment, FH!Delthea’s eyes turn back to brown as she looks at her other self in shock.]
FH!Delthea: My… brother..?
FH!Delthea: …This conversation is over. Leave me alone.
Delthea: But-
FH!Delthea:[Glaring] Leave. Me. Alone. I won’t ask again.
[FH!Delthea walks away.]
Delthea: (She’s from when I got kidnapped and brainwashed by the Duma Faithful… that’s why she acts so weird and murderous…)
Delthea: (Gods, what do I do? How do I get her back to normal? I can’t remember anything from when that happened to me!)
Delthea: (Wait, I know… I’ll just ask Alm and the rest of the Deliverance! They snapped me out of it, so they can do the same to her… right?)
[Delthea and FH!Delthea have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
Delthea: (What the- did I have a nightmare? Jeez, must have been real bad if I’m still screaming…)
Delthea: (Wait a minute… I’m not the one screaming! But I’m sure that’s my voice, so…)
FH!Delthea: Brother, where are you? Please save me, I wanna go home…
Delthea: !!
FH!Delthea: W-Wait, are you the one who kidnapped me? What are you gonna do to me!? Go away, you creep!
FH!Delthea: No, stop! I don’t wanna be your puppet! AAAAAGH!
Delthea: H-hey, wake up! Come on, wake up!
FH!Delthea: [stops screaming, and starts gasping for breath] Y-you… where am I? What happened?
Delthea: You’re in the door room. Calm down, you were having a really nasty nightmare!
FH!Delthea: Thank you. I… have a question.
Delthea: Uh… sure, shoot.
FH!Delthea: …I’m not supposed to be like this, aren’t I? I’m not actually Tatarrah’s servant, but in that case… who am I? You said you’re me, so you must know!
Delthea: …You’re right. You were a girl with great talent in magic that got a Duma Faithful’s attention, so they kidnapped you and used some dark spells to make you do what they wanted.
FH!Delthea: The sluice gate… But how do I get back to normal?
Delthea: I asked around and it looks like the only way is to beat the heck out of your not-so-dear master… Which, as satisfying as it sounds, is a pretty hard thing to do here in Askr since, you know, there are a lot of versions of us and our worlds, so it’s going to be tough finding your creepy dark wizard.
FH!Delthea: Then… I’m going to stay like this forever?
Delthea: Of course not! But it’s really late to keep talking about this and I’m super tired, so how about we keep talking tomorrow? You should go back to sleep, too.
FH!Delthea: Okay, but… Please stay here with me. I’m scared I’ll have another nightmare and… I don’t want to sleep alone again.
Delthea: [sighs] Fine. Make some space, will ya?
[The two girls lay on the opposite sides of the bed. FH!Delthea quickly falls asleep again.]
Delthea: (Jeez, it’s like talking to a child… Is this how Lu feels all the time with me?)
[Delthea and FH!Delthea have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
Delthea: Hey, little sis! Ready to continue our chat from last night?
FH!Delthea: “Little sis”..? But you and I are-
Delthea: Yeah, the same person, I know. But I was thinking, the two of us look the same but act differently, so that makes us like twins! Except, well, you’re somewhat younger than me…
FH!Delthea: …So would that make you my big sister? Does that mean I am allowed to tease you?
Delthea: Please don’t. I’d like to relax on my free time, thank you very much!
FH!Delthea: Hehe. Relax Del, I’m not going to tease you too much… maybe.
Delthea: “D-Del”? I walked straight into that one, didn’t I? Anyway, about last night…
FH!Delthea: …Yes?
Delthea: Well, I said that the only way to completely get you to normal is to, um.. “convince” your master to do it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get better!
FH!Delthea: Really? What do I need?
Delthea: Time and company, of course! You’re not the first one who got summoned kinda like this and trust me, if they work on witches and other soulless people, they’ll surely work on you too!
FH!Delthea: [lowers her gaze]…Why, Del?
Delthea: Why what?
FH!Delthea: Why are you doing all of this for me? I threatened to kill you the first time we met, I have been abrasive and a nuisance to you up until now, so… why?
Delthea: Well, aside for the fact that you’re a fellow me so of course I would want to help you… You don’t deserve to be like this. Nobody does!
Delthea: One of the best things about life is that we get to choose what to do with it! Sure, we’re not entirely free to do what we want, but our own actions and experiences is what makes us who we are!
Delthea: So the fact that someone can take all of this away from you and turn you into a mindless slave or whatever for some stupid goal… It’s beyond awful! I can’t stand it! Nobody deserves this and I just want to blast the responsibles right away!
Delthea: ..So, yeah. Even if you weren’t another me, I still would have tried to reach out to you.
FH!Delthea: …Wow. I would have never expected you to be so serious about this.
Delthea: I know, right? It scares me too sometimes! But I guess it’s because of some Heroes that got summoned here before you and the fact that I used to be like you. Literally.
FH!Delthea: You were saying there are Heroes like me?
Delthea: Well, not exactly like you, but still. We’ve actually got a lot of variety! We have possessed people, soulless people, people gone crazy… the list is pretty long, sadly.
Delthea: But you know, despite everything, I’d say you’re actually in a really good place compared to the rest! You can mostly think on your own, you still have your emotions and you’re starting to act like an actual person again! I’m really happy for you!
FH!Delthea: I’m glad… But I have to warn you, I still feel my master’s presence within me. If he ever ordered me to kill everyone here, I would be forced to obey… though not without a second thought.
Delthea: …Oh. Of course you would. But I mean, that creepy jerk’s not here, so he can’t give you orders, right? That means you’re can do whatever you want!
FH!Delthea: I suppose so. Thank you, Del.
Delthea: ..I still don’t know if I like that nickname. Anyway, since we got this thing over, could you help me with something?
FH!Delthea: Of course, what do you need?
Delthea: Don’t talk about this with anyone, but I’m trying to find a way to get Lu summoned. It’s been a long time since I last saw him and… Well, I hate to admit it, but I kinda miss him. A lot.
FH!Delthea: I would love to meet him too. I’ll help.
Delthea: Trust me, we’ll regret this as soon as he gets here. But I was thinking, if we put stuff he likes on the summoning circle, maybe it’s more likely he gets summoned! So we’re gonna place a bunch of huge and boring tomes, I’m sure he’s gonna love them!
FH!Delthea: I remember… We could also put some cats on it.
Delthea: Great idea! That will surely get him summoned! …Well, either him or another Celica.
[Both of the self-proclaimed twins start giggling.]
Delthea: So, ready for this, sis?
FH!Delthea: Of course, Del. I’m ready.
[Delthea and FH!Delthea have reached support rank A.]

Analysis
F!Byleth comes to FEH as a fast sword user that separates herself from the neverending pile of swordsmen with her PRF, the Creator Blade. Statwise, F!Byleth is something that FEH has seen hundreds of time: Good Atk, Amazing Spd, Decent Def, Mediocre Res, but its thanks to the Creator Blade that she is able to not be forgotten when the next OP speedy swordsman comes around. Compared to her male counterpart, F!Byleth has less Atk, but she makes it up by having one of the highest Spd stats in the game (tied with Karla and Mia).
The Creator Blade is a powerful PRF that grants her a Special cooldown reduction on top of negating quite the bunch of skills: all of the Fighter skills, Guard, Quick Riposte, Swordbreaker, and even Wind/Watersweep for herself, meaning she can be a powerful tank destroyer, or can run a pseudo-Firesweep set since Creator Blade allows her to double even if she has Wind/Watersweep but the enemy will not be able to attack back.
Her new special, Ruptured Sky, boosts her damage by 20% of her opponent’s Atk stat, and if she is against a Dragon or Beast unit, it gets boosted by 40% instead, making her a great Dragon/Beast killer.
If F!Byleth is not a very desired unit, she is still one of the best fodder goldmines in the game: if an unit already has Fury 3, F!Byleth can inherit them Fury 4 and either Wrath 3 or Even Atk Wave 3, or if one has access to the GHB unit Fallen!Delthea, Delthea can inherit Even Atk Wave 3 at 4★, so a unit can receive Fury 4, Wrath 3 AND Ruptured Sky with only one copy of F!Byleth.
F!Byleth’s prefered assets/boons are in Atk and Spd (keep in mind this is a super asset/boon, meaning she will get 4 points in Spd instead of 3), while she prefers a flaw/bane in HP (super flaw/bane) or Res.

Builds
Budget/Low Investment:
Byleth already comes with a fantastic base kit, so even if she has an undesirable flaw/bane, she still can work perfectly right out of the box. Fury 4, the Brazen Atk/Spd sacred seal and Wrath go hand in hand with each other, with Fury 4 she can reach the Brazen HP condition in only one round of combat, and if she gets hit she will reach the Wrath HP condition as well. The Creator Sword grants her a Special cooldown reduction, and with Wrath active, she gets a second one at the start of every turn, which means that Ruptured Sky is always going to be active if Wrath is active, though this can work with Moonbow or Glimmer as well. Wrath can also be replaced by Desperation depending if she is needed as an hyperoffensive bruiser or as a Special spammer.
Her prefered Sacred Seals are any Brazen ones, Atk/Spd 2, Atk/Spd Bond or Flashing Blade.
Player Phase
The first build is a Galeforce offensive build. Thanks to the Creator Sword nullifying Guard, Byleth is a more reliable Galeforce user than other units. This build makes Byleth rely on her high Spd so Flashing Blade gets activated and if she doubles (with that Spd stat she probably will) she will activate Galeforce at the end of combat. Pairing this build with 3 dancers can allow Byleth to take an entire team on her own provided she can ORKO them either by herself or with some support from the dancers.
The second build is an hyper offensive build that pushes Byleth’s offensive stats all the way while ditching her defenses. For more consistent damage, Ruptured Sky is better replaced with Moonbow, Draconic Aura, Luna, or even Aether for sustain. Life and Death is an option, but Fury 4 works perfectly fine, and even syncs with Desperation instead of relying on taking damage. Desperation can also be replaced with Vantage or Chill Def.
The third build is the pseudo-Firesweep build mentioned earlier. The combination of Creator Sword and Windsweep is a deadly one, allowing Byleth to double while preventing enemy counterattacks can catch your opponents by surprise if she is deployed in a defense team in AR or Arena. This build also excels for a Galeforce build, since with Wind/Watersweep she has nothing to fear for enemy counterattacks anymore. Windsweep is pretty much the key for this build and it is highly prefered than Watersweep because F!Byleth will mostly be fighting other physical units and she can easily be OHKOed by blue and red dragons. Luckily, Windsweep is now available to everyone for free thanks to Tempest Trials reward unit Joshua, who gives it at 4★.

Quick October 2022 Refine Theory Craft!
Alright it's time again. And for spooky month, we got Lethe, Yarne, and Fallen!Tiki. I just so happen to planned ahead and made refine theory crafts for these three so read about them here.
Which leaves the monthly Grail and Seasonal refine. No 3/4 stars this month, but really, there was a drought of them back in 2019, then we got an extra one every banner after cyl 3. Stay tuned for that.
Delthea: Tatarrah's Puppet
Death: "Grants Res+3. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat. After combat, if unit attacked, deals 4 damage to unit."
Glacies - Death Blow 3 - Even Atk Wave 3
OH, Death approaches. This brain washed puppet going to do everything you command, even if it kills her.
I don't think her base need to be improved, but let's do it anyway.
"Grants Res+3. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat. After combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit."
Replace 4 with 5. Cool.
Now, for the special effect, I'm thinking of using the same effect of OG!Celica and Tailtiu. Those effects are Brazen Atk/Spd and Wrath.
"At start of combat, if unit's HP ≤ 80%, grants Atk/Spd+7 during combat, and also, unit's attack triggers Special, grants Special cooldown count-1, and deals +10 damage when Special triggers."
With this and the base effect, she can get to 80% with two encounters. If that's not fast enough, add the Fury seal for one encounter. And if you don't want to get hit, obviously inherit Desperation or Vantage. From there, just keep dancing her until everyone dies or she get hit while on 1 HP. Just remember, this strategy won't work in Summoner Duels.
Lyn: Lady of the Beach
Deep-Blue Bow: Grants Spd+3. Effective against flying and armored foes. If foe's HP = 100% and unit initiates combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat.
Reposition - Sturdy Impact - Atk/Spd Link 3 - Distant Guard 3
Fun in the sun! Lyn was designed to one shot not just flying sword units, but also armored sword units. She has Sturdy impact to make safely attack foe's with guaranteed follow-ups. When she's not doing that, she's using her Repo to move allies to more offensive spots over water or forest tiles while rallying them with Atk/Spd Link. And Distant Guard is there just cuz why not.
Unfortunately, effective damage and + 4 to all stats only when the foe is full health, isn't gonna cut it, especially with base 33 Atk. Now I could lower the HP condition to 75%, add "near allies" for enemy phase, and bump up the stats. But then I thought, lets make it so the additional stats go up the more HP the foe has. Armors do have a lot of HP (unmerged armors have only 5 more average HP than all other but shhh).
"Grants Spd+3. Effective against flying and armored foes. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 tile radius of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res = X during combat. ( X = foe's HP x 10%, + 2, Max 9)"
Math time. If the average HP of a foe is 40, then when Lyn initiates combat or allies are near by, she gets +6 to all stats. COOL! If the foe has 1 HP, she gets +2 to all stats. Okay. If the foe is between 99% or 75%, which is 39-30 HP, that's +5. That's the average amount with these new perf weapons. If the foe has 50 HP however, that's +7. And if they have 70, that's the maximum of +9. Only Arden with max merges, flowers, and the HP +5 skill. can make it that high. Other armored melee units can reach it with refined weapons or boost from Aether Raids, but it's unlikely you'll find a foe like that in arena.
But why put a Max at all? Røkkr Sieges.
Moving on, Lyn still needs a bit more fire power, and some more counters to foes.
"If unit's Spd ≥ foe's Spd, deals damage = 15% of unit's Spd, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks and prevent guaranteed follow-up to foe, and also, foe uses sword, lance, axe, dragonstone, or beast damage, foe cannot counterattack."
What we have here is little bit of everything Lyn had in previous alts or needs because she's a flyer. True damage based on Spd, Null Follow-Up, and Windsweep only against melee ranged foes. If the Far-Save, Distant Counter, Omnibreaker, All Def, no Spd, foe can OHKO Lyn, they can't hit her now, not without Null C-Disrupt, and she is getting 6 to 8 true damage. For the condition, L!Lyn has the same "Out speed your opponent" to get the bonus damage and Summer!Lyn wants to follow-up naturally and she doesn't get acuess to Null Follow-Up, being a flyer. This does make Sturdy Impact practically useless on her, but there's still some bow and dagger foes that can hit you.
So, this weapon is basically Laws of Sacae II combined with Null Follow-Up, and the true damage from her Spd.
What do you think? Let me know what you think in the comments BE-looooooooow.
