lore notes
the concept of harmony between the holy forces of nature (and their associated dragonflights) as an ideal to strive towards is a recent one in the history of draconic Sornieth, only becoming a major philosophical idea shortly before the Oculus Treaty.
The recent chaotic shifting of the elements has brought many loud voices to the forefront, some claiming that the world has fallen too far out of balance and greater harmony is needed before calamity strikes, others that the gods and their elements have been destabilized by the flights' increasing mingling and only a return to the old ways will restore peace.
(some philosophies and religions among the beastclans have been aware of the elements' interconnected nature for longer than mortal dragons have existed; one notable religion that has even begun to spread to some dragons claims that the deities are actually all fragments of one greater god that was shattered by the shade, and their endless wars are an attempt to deny that they're all broken pieces of the same whole.)

Fuck it I want to write a lore dump
The multiverse in my stories:
Ok so basically, it's like that cross section of the Internet lines in the ocean. The whole thing is called the Omniverse. It encompasses everything. That includes alternative timelines. Alternate timelines are basically how I plan on doing au's, but also one of the hardest types of alternate realities to access, but the easiest to make. Below that is the deltaverse, which includes most/all multiverses. Multiverses include realities, sub realities, and sub multiverses. Sub multiverses are limited in how varied they can be, but can contain realities and sub realities.
Sub realities are pocket dimensions, afterlives, and other such things. They are generally where spirits go due to its energy being forced out of it. If there are no sub realities, the spirit is flung into the place between realities, known as the void. It makes notably less sense logically, having no color, air, matter, space, time, or anything of that sort. It basically just chews you up and spits you out elsewhere, and is the reason ghosts can exist in some realities. Neat, huh?
