Haaa, they would love you. Collectively they would think you’d be one the coolest people on earth (cough) Cyberworld(CouGh) and would so badly want to be your friend. Trust me, you’d get along with them great. This is platonic but if you meant X reader as in romantic just get back to me and I’ll do that too! I just wasn’t %100 sure so I went the safe route.

He literally thinks you’re so cool. Look at you!! He would like to be your friend and honestly, K_K isn’t the shy type, but with you, he might act like it. Not too much- but it’s somewhat noticeable.

Probably gets bashful and doesn’t do things to impress you, but when he does his regular things he trips up sometimes. You’re distracting him! (In a good way. Although Sweets and Cap’n probably get a bit annoyed because of him messing stuff up.)

“Uh, hi! Would you like to be friends?” He says softer than usual trying to greet you in order not to scare you compared to his usual…louder greetings?

You accept. You just made his DAY. And if you don’t?…Probably a bit mopey and bummed. Darn…

But let’s put the rejection aside. You and K_K would make really good pals. He’d totally hype you up and be a good partner in crime (Dont ask how he’s so good at what he does) depending on what the case is. He also would love to watch you put outfits together so he could maybe try to get it for himself or even get you something like that! Gift purposes. You know?

Would LOVE to be your friend. He’s afraid of being rejected but he goes for it anyway. Not without feeling his body tingly from his nerves but on the outside he has his cool. Once you accept he’ll probably look away and his one eye will have a smile ( Or you know how you can tell how someone smiles through their eyes? There bottom lid lifts and it crinkles. Yeah. Him.) he’ll turn back, chill as ever. Yeah. Chill. (Real happy on the inside and might let some of it escape through his happy speech and tone.) 🤭

And if you reject being his pal? OH. Shot to the heart but ok. He’s reaction is more noticeable than K_K’s. He wont bother you again though.

You and him get along well. Especially for coming up with plans for their rebellious group- someone has a head on their shoulders and he really likes that about you. He enjoys that you’re you and the way you express yourself. He likes when people do that and admires you.

In (slight)Defense of Sweet Cap'n Cakes!

I saw that someone had called these three 1 dimensional characters and, I'm sorry, but I have to rant about it even if no one cares. If fact, I never knew that I cared about it myself.

To say though, I know not everyone believes this possibly but I just wanted to say this anyway.

Sweet Cap'n Cakes are not flat characters. To be honest, they do have traits sprinkled out here and there. I will say though, they are... sprinkled. Not much of and I can understand why they could come off as flat characters.

Let's start with, in my opinion, the least developed seeming, Cap'n. He, admittedly, comes off as the most flat of the three as the most traits he shows, independently, is being sneaky/scam-y and liking girls. That's really it, still has traits, but pretty.. Low.

Next is K_K, the second most developed in the trio. Now, K_K is interesting... From what I can tell, he seems to have a maximum of 1 trait, which would technically make him the least developed... If he didn't give vibes of being on the Spectrum somewhat. I'll be honest, to me, he seems like he's somewhere on the Spectrum or other alike things, idk why, he just does. Gives the vibe. So, number wise in number of traits, he'd be the least developed but if you think he's on the Spectrum then that bumps him up to be more interesting than him just seeming more out-of-touch/stupid.

Lastly is Sweet, the most developed in my opinion. Unlike the other two, he seems to have a clear-cut goal, a decent goal at that. He seems to genuinely sorta want help in some aspects, he wants to make a few things better at least for himself, he's stubborn and always believes he's on the right/good side even if he's oblivious to some stuff around him. He tries to keep the other two on track and seems actually somewhat determined to get what he wants out of everything. A decent guy really.

I think the reason they come off as flat is because of two reasons. Reason number one, they seem to be those type of friends who, when separated, you can tell who they are and what type of people they act like, but when together their personalities just meld together so they come off as having almost the exact same personality copy and pasted. The second reason is because of how little screentime they got, do I expect them to get more screentime? Not really, maybe cameos. But, if they were important to the story more, then we'd probably get a chance to see their real selves shine. It doesn't help if you combine my two reasoning either because their fight, aka one of their main important appearances and their shop scene legit has them all together.

That's all I have to say about this. Am I completely right? Eh, debatable. Did I miss a few things? Probably. Did I research this topic to make a full compelling defense? Fuck no. Again, like I said, I didn't expect to care this much and even what I did care about wasn't much. This was all made based off of my poor ass memory of them. So please correct me if I got shit wrong and add in whatever I missed, please, I'm not here to fight that I'm right and people who correct me are wrong, I will not die on that hill because I will lose.

Other than that, feel free to give your own thoughts and opinions, again, this was just my half-thought-of rant.

Headcanons under the cut

The three actually can be beaten through fighting, though it makes you think otherwise since they have one milk per person.

Spare by making them talk about their other interests.

Sweet wants to be a famous DJ, Cap’n wants to open his own bakery, K_K wants to become a professional artist.

You can find hints to their interests leading up to their fight, like how you can talk to people and find out Clover’s interests before her fight in og chapter 1.

Battle still ends with dancing cause that’s too wholesome to cut out. And they all still are CD Players/A Speaker at the end of the day.

The three are gangsters who vandalize the city in rebellion against Queen.

They argue much more than normal since K_K isn’t a moderator between the three anymore.

Their attacks are more individual from each other now:

Sweets attacks involve them swinging and throwing their shinai at your soul. Sometimes it will do a spinning attack that reflect any bullets made by K_K and Cap’n in a random direction.

Cap’n uses attacks much more similar to ones he normally uses. Music notes, sound waves, etc. But occasionally his attacks will be replaced with him throwing bagels at you that heal you, resulting in the other two yelling at him after the turn.

K_K’s attacks are more support oriented. She will spray the bullet box and block the bullets similar to that of what poppups do. They also can spray a random team mate in the eyes with spray paint, voiding their act.
