Drawn all these using a box of 48 markers I got for Christmas.

Deltarune stuff is theoretical designs after character development (like Susie's eyes being revealed at the end of CH1). The black/red on Noelle's shirt was supposed to be Halloween-themed symbols (a bat, pumpkin, candy, creepy mask, and vampire teeth) but turned out horrible...

Jentry is just her in the official cover outfit + colored eyes.

Jentry's angry/lost control eyes are missing because I don't know what to do with them.

The box. Apparently one of these is supposed to be a blender (I'm assuming it's white) but I don't get it lol. The one with "B.O.C." instead of numbers also confuses me but it seems to just be orange ("Bright Orange Color"???)

A lot of them are very hard to open for the first time and made me end up with very colorful hands...

General about/Tag info

While I started this blog with archival and elaborate tag systems in mind, it doubles as a general UTDR fanblog.

I do not tag spoilers for Undertale, the 2 currently released chapters of Deltarune, or pre-release promotional material (e.g. Ch3 screenshots from the newsletters). My exact policy for proper Chapter 3 / 4 spoilers will be decided when we get serious promo (like a trailer and/or release date), but I will tag temporarily.

"Mad Mew Mew" is her default form. Fanart of her pre-transition self is tagged additionally tagged as "Mad Dummy" the same way the "God of Hyperdeath" is also tagged as "Asriel". A similar policy applies to Mettaton (except his pre-transition form is simply tagged as "ghost" due to my naming scheme for his different looks).

In the first few months of this sideblog's existence, I had a different main blog. While I tried to copy-reblog everything I'd archived here, it seems to have fucked up this blog's search system and it only focuses on what I freshly reblogged here (the #tag system is fine). For the best experience in hunting for specific overlapping tags (e.g. "papyrus 2015" for Papyrus fanart from Undertale's release year), you may want to look through this blog as well as @gonermaker-goner . If you don't know how the sitewide tag system works, jump to the very bottom of this post.

I do not use apostrophes in my organizational tags. This is to lower the risk of them breaking. Instead of "#snowdrake's mother" it's "#snowdrakes mother".

No reblog tagged as "au:" or "oc:" is my creation in any way unless specified otherwise.

I’ve shared like 5 posts that apply, but I tag criticism of the fangame Undertale Yellow as “utyeller criticism” for blacklist.

If a Deltarune fanart references the specific events or one-off locations of a certain chapter (fanmade take or official), it gets tagged as that chapter. Characters on their own are not considered to reference any particular chapter. While alternate styles usually count as chapter references (e.g. the Fun Gang's doctor/nurse outfits), Ralsei's black Ch1 form does not due to its widespread use.

My logic for distinguishing between Undertale and Deltarune in character tagging is shaky,

I usually use the queue to publish 16 reblogs throughout each day (24 hours), but this is subject to change. Exceptions include emptying my queue so seasonal posts can publish at a certain time or when I add commentary other than short compliments.

BYF-Adjacent

I block people from my main blog very liberally for filtering purposes, especially if they post Sans AU content in the main Undertale tag. You can only block someone from your sideblog by entering their username into your individual blog settings on the web version of Tumblr. Blocking someone from your main only makes it so you don’t see their activity; they’ll still be fully able to interact with the sideblog. If you reply to my posts or send me asks and I don’t respond or acknowledge it, it’s possible this is the case.

Among other ships, I casually enjoy Chara/Frisk content as they only become family in one ending (I do not ship it in the context of said ending). I tag it for organizational purposes, so feel free to blacklist #charisk. I do not support Chara/Asriel nor any other pedophilic/incestuous pairing.

While I very much doubt anyone who does this is going to read the BYF on my tiny est. 2024 UT/DR blog, please block me if you “headcanon” Frisk, Kris, or Chara as boys/girls or refer to them with gendered pronouns.

On Reposts

Tumblr is pretty much the only popular social media site that lets you reliably archive others' posts. Twitter has been a dumpster fire of extreme bigotry, unfixed sitebreaking bugs, and spam for years, yet so many incredible UT/DR artists have used and continue to use it. For this reason, I sometimes repost art from there with the creator's handle captioned and a hyperlink to the art piece. As you may have noticed, reblogs are off for these reposts as they're purely on my blog for archival.

I will take down any art piece if an artist asks me to or if they have an active tumblr of a similar nature. If the latter is the case and an onsite version of the art piece exists, please show me that as well.

Many of these posts are tagged with "tag later". This is so I can go back and add tags that are used by the general fandom (ex: "#flowey") weeks after posting so they don't clog anything up.

If you're new here and don't understand how Tumblr's archive/tag systems work, let me explain. (This all pertains to the browser version of Tumblr, the mobile stuff is limited and self-explanatory.)

Unless someone has certain opt-in privacy features enabled, their archive should be accessible by going to their blog and clicking the "Archive" button in the meatball/3 dots menu. This will let you simultaneously filter their posts by month-year of publishing, post type, and one tag used. For a non-archive variant of this, search that except without the "archive" part; blogexample.tumblr.com/tagged/tag. While certain tags will automatically show up in the list, you can search for anything by searching blogexample.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/tagexample (without the italicization). If the tag has spaces, put a %20 instead (blogexample.tumblr.com/tagged/chapter%201).

For plain searching, you can use blogexample.tumblr.com/search/example. However, like I implied above search result accuracy on Tumblr is pure ass and varies from blog to blog (I've noticed a way to make it more effective is to post frequently within the first few days of using the blog).

Deltarune: The importance of Love

Alright, so I have been thinking about Deltarune for quite a while now. It got me to start thinking about Ralsei’s strange behavior during Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, because something isn’t right about him. Especially when he said about him not knowing what being Ralsei-like is during the swan ride.

Then it immediately hit me as to what he just said, because we don’t know what it is like to be Kris. We are pretending to be someone else just as much as he is pretending to not be his true self. Ralsei is trying to trick us into doing the pacifist run by manipulating our love for the nostalgia of the Undertale world against us! If we do a pacifist run, we might end up destroying the world instead of saving it, because we weren’t aware of what Ralsei is doing to us.

You may be wondering why I am mentioning this to begin with. Well, after we defeated King in Chapter 1. Ralsei was foolish enough to heal them, and this almost got Susie and Kris killed because of his nativity. This behavior of his only gets worse during Chapter 2 when we saw how he treated Kris and Berdly. Ralsei wanted us to ignore Kris’s well-being after we defeated Spamton, and then he didn’t bother to heal Berdly when there was a possibility of him being seriously injured. ( His arm will be injured if the player doesn't save him from the wires. ) This FUCKING goat didn’t care about their well-being at all, and you expect me to love him when he treated Berdly and Kris like that! HELL NO! What he did was the cruelest thing I have ever seen in my life.

And he is supposed to be the one who represents the “kindness” soul. Don’t make me laugh, because Ralsei didn't know what true kindness looks like until he saw Susie showing her kindness towards Kris by saving them from King. 

It is also extremely suspicious as to why the weird route wasn’t a choice for us until Noelle appeared, because Ralsei keeps trying to push us towards the pacifist route. He doesn’t use his fire magic in a battle despite him knowing how to use it. DO NOT TRUST RALSEI! I REPEAT DO NOT TRUST HIM!

If you want to save Kris and the others from their horrible fate. You need to make the ultimate sacrifice, because everything is in reverse now. You need to show them what true love is by risking it all. This means that you have to make them hate you in order to save everybody from the Angel’s Heaven. The player is definitely the true villain of this story, since you are being forced to control Kris’s body against their will. You are trying to pretend to be Kris. You took everybody they care about away from them. You took their save point, and their castle town just by existing in their world. You took everything away from them, and you expect them to be your friend. No! Absolutely not! This is not your story, because this adventure is meant to be for Kris. They need to learn how to be independent from you, as they aren’t a little kid like Frisk.

Deltarune is going to be a story about taking risks, since all of the kids in hometown including the vessel are teenagers. Teenagers usually try to do risky things, because they want to be independent from their parents. It’s time for us players to do something extremely risky, since we shouldn’t listen to Ralsei nor their so-called “legend”. That goat is hiding important information from us, and it can't be ignored.

Deltarune end of Chapter 1 spoilers

Yes! You absolutely correct about this, because if you remember what happened when we defeated King and Spamton. Ralsei healed King, and nearly got Kris and Susie killed because of it. As for Spamton, Ralsei said that we should ignore what just happened. THIS FUCKING GOAT WANTED KRIS TO IGNORE THE MOST TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE LIKE IT WAS NOTHING! I would have been extremely scared like Kris if someone threatened to take my soul like that. If Susie wasn't there to save Kris at that moment, they would have been DEAD!

I would also like to bring up Berdly into this situation, because something is off about Ralsei if you don't save him from the wires. He doesn't try to heal Berdly's arm when his arm is seriously injured from that, and yet if you do save him. Guess who is the first person to check on Berdly's condition. SUSIE! Not Ralsei. SUSIE! Ralsei was just standing next to Berdly when there could have been a real possibility of him being seriously injured.

Ralsei deserves to be called out for his suspicious behavior. Especially if his cruelty continues to happen in the future chapters. We definitely need to keep a close eye on him.

Deltarune Theory: Ralsei is a guide for the script

It feels crazy that Deltarune Chapter 2 has only been out for like, what, two weeks? As of the time I’m writing this, and yet, there has already been so much secret hunting and speculation over this. Not even the full game, and people already go crazy over it. Naturally, I am part of this craze. In fact I was one of the people that played it as soon as it dropped.

And, I thought it was only me, but, at least for a little while, Ralsei’s behavior struck me as… odd. Not outwardly malicious, but just… odd. Particularly the first bit of the game, it was just so… happy and convenient? And Ralsei was at the center of it all, orchestrating it, making sure everything happened accordingly.

Eventually, that initial feeling of distrust went away, but… not quite. And it seems a lot of people began to feel the same way, pointing out bits about Ralsei that are just… out of place. Things that didn’t seem to stand out in the first chapter, are now popping out about him.

Huh maybe this is obvious lmao but maybe the mike guy stopped answering spamtons calls not out of betrayal or anything, but actually just because toriel unplugged the tv 😳 in chapter 1 the tv was unplugged, and starting in chapter 2 it’s plugged back in, but still dusty.

Then in spamtons shop, the phone in the background keeps ringing off and on. Is mike trying to call him back?? But spamton likely doesn’t want to talk to him (says he doesn’t need him anymore) so he doesn’t answer.

Weird that the tv would be unplugged for years though.. I guess its not too surprising if toriel and kris don’t care much about watching cable. Asriel obviously enjoyed playing games like Mario and “super smashing fighters” but maybe hasn’t played them in years😅 Why would toriel suddenly plug it back in tho. (Maybe kris did it overnight during the “pie” incident 😅😅)

in deltarune so far (ch2 especially) the gaster stuff has been way more obvious than it ever was in undertale which makes me think each chapter will build up with more and more little things idk i hope the gaster plotline actually leads up to something big
