TWO PEOPLE WERE INJURED after a group of assailants open fired with their wands at hogsmeade. according to aurors who rushed to the scene, the incident occurred between the hours of 8-10 in the evening on the 28th of february and three people were apprehended for questioning; namely --- alice fortescue, benjamin fenwick, and mary macdonald.

eyewitnesses also reported sighting three questionable figures on the scene who were positively identified as narcissa black of st.mungo’s and notable members of the wizengamot, honorable alecto and amycus carrow. all three have refused to provide any comment on the matter but aurors have been noted to keep a watchful eye on them for questioning on possible involvement.

alastor moody, one of the first to arrive at the scene, reported having been approached by a 25-28 year old male who appeared to be frazzled, stating and i quote ----- ‘ that he gave no explicit orders to attack hogsmeade as no current threats were run past him.’ unfortunately, the man disappeared when aurors got overwhelmed by the number of incoming bystanders flocking the scene. he further added that both victims, emmeline vance and dorcas meadowes, survived and are now recovering smoothly.
