Sweet baby Delilah first came into our lives about 2.5 years ago and things will never be the same for us. Unfortunately, a couple of months back, she got a little too "Raccoon" and left to go live a life of her own. Until recently, she would come to the porch at night and eat the food we'd leave her in a bottle and at least I knew e was safe. She hasn't been around in about a month. There's a scene in the movie "Groundhog Day", where Phil keeps doing what he can to save an old homeless man. Every single day, he goes out of his way to make sure the homeless guy is safe, but no matter what, the homeless guy dies. In the end, the best Phil can do is show the homeless guy as much love as possible while he was here. And that's how I have been able to accept that Delilah probably isn't woth us anymore. Wherever she's at, I know we showed her as much love as we could, while she was here.
