I thought the same thing about Ajiichi’s art in Useless Princesses. They drew for another series called The White Maidens' Werewolf, where it’s a mystery-survival game story (and is also a yuri) where I think they use their overdramatic faces to good use. (The series is up to 16 chapters in the raws but it’s only been translated in English up to chapter 6 and no one’s translated it in a year)

Failed Princesses | Dekisokonai no Himegimi-tachi – Chapter 34

It helped me only a little...! For manga, I can recommend these three:

Kiraware Majo Reijou to Dansou Ouji no Kon'yaku, which is one still being translated and that I enjoyed reading. It's a tiny bit sad at first, because of the protagonist's situation, but it's very sweet and funny as far as I read it.

Whispering You a Love Song is very cute and nice from what I know. I read it, but not all, so I stopped at the very start; I want to pick up this one again, and now that I am on my vacation I can actually do it...!

Dekisokonai no Himegimi-tachi is another one that is worth it to give a chance!!! I remember liking it a lot when i read this history.

I don't really watch much anime, so for this genre I can only recommend to you the 'all girls type who has a lot of sapphic subtext but isn't exactly yuri', like:

Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight;

Assault Lily: Bouquet;

Stella of the Theater: World Dai Star!

I hope you enjoy at least one of these...! I actually don't know which type of wholesome you like so I didn't put some of the ones I like and, to be honest, I am a little novice in the yuri world, hehe.
