For context, Lorian is a Dark Souls 3 boss and is also probably one of my biggest comfort characters if not my top one. So this is super conflicting and I WASNT PREPARED FOR THE HEARTBREAK-
Someone HAS to have made a fanfic similar to this tho...and it would have been worse if Ingo and Emmet switched places imo

Just a small guide
I always had this guide for OFF fangames (I’ve never played the real OFF) or OFF for leveling regarding places and bosses, so here’s what I usually play by! You might find this useful in your experiences.
This advice mainly applies to fangames that are basically the OFF game but with a different character or something. I find these levels come naturally if you fight every single enemy you come across without fleeing, and perhaps with a bit of grinding.
Barns: Level 3ish
Reaching Dedan (Post Office): Level 5
Fighting Dedan (Alma, Boss): Level 7 (No higher than 15, he becomes a bit of a pushover if you’re any higher. This idea applies to the other bosses too.).
Returning to the Purified Zones: I do this and tend to run away from every encounter, just to get the items. But you can also go after beating Enoch.
Japhet (Valerie Encounter): Level 10
Exiting the Mall: Level 12/13
Japhet (Boss): Level 15 (No higher than 25)
Sucre/Secret Boss in Zone 0: May face after Japhet, would receive valuable experience for Enoch’s Boss. But it will be difficult.
Enoch: Level 20 - 25 (No higher than 35)
Sucre/Secret Boss and Purified Zones: May face here.
The Queen / The Final Boss: Level 25 - 35. It can help immensely to be at 40. But any higher and the fight can be a bit underwhelming instead.
Amusing Story: A friend and I were playing Continue/Stop/Rise and we had the Batters around Level 45. That final boss was a complete nightmare. But then I replayed it with another friend. Level 45 and we just hit “Auto” and the Batters won on their own. We then experimented by manually having them use their standard attack - no competences. The fight was over faster than with our manual strongest attacks or auto on.
What levels do you guys prefer to be at when you get to certain parts of OFF Fangames/OFF itself? Reblog it and write down your numbers!

OFF Spoilers
Tumblr media
So, I beat the crap out of Dedan and won! Up to Zone 2.
By the way, I got nervous around Zacharie because of my PTSD from previous games with shop owners/merchants (I expect them to be asshats), hopefully Zacharie won’t scare the living shit out of me.
Anyways, Pepper Steak is also a jam
