I'm convinced the DKR hand is part of what's causing Bruce's spiral. Sure, it's part nervous breakdown, part Zur, part leftover of whatever's going on in Dective Comics--but the attention that keeps being brought to the hand kind of hints it's behind the corruption.

There are several canon depictions of the angel at Jason’s grave.

Detective Comics #790 when Bruce and Cass visited Jason’s grave on what would have been his 18th birthday and DC ruined what could have been a cute moment by victim blaming Jason for his own death again

During Hush, in Batman #617. Also Jason and Tim’s.... meet cute 😈

And in Batman Annual #25, during Jason’s return in 2006 that showed how he came back to life

There may be others. These are just the ones I could pull off the top of my head (and have in my digital collection). And there may be depiction of just a regular, rounded stone. But the angel definitely has it’s basis in canon 😊👍

I’ve noticed in fics and art Jason’s grave typically has a large angel statue on it, is there and canon depiction of this in he comics or is it just something fans have run with? Also there seems to be some debate over where he’s buried, is there any canon depiction of this as well?

It is something that I think @scandalsavagefanfic will be able to answer:)

This is a new story I am working on. I'm excited for this one because it's the first I'm truly passionate about and determined to complete. It's the first I've put my actual name on. It is based off DCU's Hawkgirl and Hawkman, but I take my own spin on the original comics while still incorporating some of the original elements. I really hope you give it a read and enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. It's not finished yet, but I'm hoping that by summer's end it will be near/finally complete. Dective: Hey! Shut it. Hes vital to this mission. I'm sure he can beat you badly so shut it and respect him and focus on the mission.

Lun: Jeez calm down. But really think about it. He hasn't said a word to us nor explain why he wears restraints. That's not normal you know. Either way, why is he wearing a mask? Kinda odd, what was he in an accident that mes-

*Moon punches a wall right next to Lun making it cracks and a home where his fist it it.he takes his hand out fast making small chunk fall off*

Lun [mind]: ... what the...

Lun: what the hello dude?!!

Umii: What the?! Are you trying to kill him?!

Dective [mind]: was that him?! What the I knew he was strong but wow.. scary..

Moon: hey. Stop screwing around.

*they were surprised*

Moon: understood.

Both: y-yes sir!

*a monitor in Dective's hand beeps*

Dective: huh? Oh! Mo-

Lun: isnt that to sig-

*he huge blast comes from Moon's hand causing them both to scream and Dective to freeze. After a few moment, smokes comes from the area and the 3 look. Moon goes by the ledge again and watches the aftermath in silence*

All 3: he just....

Induction was a ‘art challange’ I did back in 2016 based off a list I saw called ‘Noirvember’ which was for people to post every day pictures or talk about their favorite themes in Noir movies. (the Femme Fatales, the Hard boiled PIs, the cities that never sleeps, etc you know the classic 1920s movie tropes). and I LOVE old timey dective movies and movies from the 1920s. And my little guinea pig brain said ‘you can make an art challenge out of this’. And thus I did.

It was called Induction and it followed a Detective named Maxim Tentrill who wakes up in his office after being attacked, having no memory of the past few days and having been forcibly tattooed with strange images that he certainly didn’t ask for or want. It turns out, Max has been Inducted into the world of Monsters and they’re extremely protective of who gets into their society due to how mankind has treated them for eons. And it’s a point of Max has prove himself a person worthy of being welcomed in or the ‘Community’ will do something horrible to make sure the secret of monsters doesn’t get out to the normal human populace of the city of New Chicago.

It’s actually a story I’ve been working on for a while, building up numerous characters for it, finding themes of religion, sexuality, effectively being forced to work for a broke system that refuses to let itself be fixed and living in a city that is a highly concentrated cultural melting pot which also results in a lot of different monsters and creatures living there from various cultures and parts of the world. It’ll also delve into other characters lives, mainly the monsters and how they essentially operate and attempt to coexist in a world where they can’t be full open about what they are at fear of persecution while also adhering to their natural instincts-some which are based on eating humans. It’ll also delve into the life of another Inductee, Ruby-however, she and Max are Inducted in polar opposite ways. (There’s multiple ways to get in but it all has a similar end goal.)

So I hope you guys will like it as much as I like building it.
