I’ve had a few people ask about jobies paws. He was sadly declawed by the person who had him before I rescued him. Now, he has arthritis in those paws. Declawing is inhumane. It’s chopping off tips of toes and pulling out the nails. It’s painful and can cause them lifelong discomfort, physically and mentally. There is no need for this and many available options to help with scratching behavior. As I sit here, Jobie cuddling me, he put his paws in my hand. That’s my point. These wonderful animal companions put their lives in our hands and we need to do what is best for them. Please, say no to declawing. Speak up to stop it. #sayNoToDeclawing #declawingIsBad #catPaws
