Background : Debolina or better known as Lina was born to Charulata Roy. Who at that time had just moved to the states as the executive manager of a research project and made a few mistakes in her love life. She became pregnant even after all the necessary protection. The father refused to take responsibilities and abandoned his girlfriend and his unborn child. Charulata decided on keeping the baby, she couldn't bring herself to destroy the little beating heart on the sonogram. She was broken but she had put a lot on stake to reach where she was in her career. She was determined on not letting the pregnancy stop her or her thriving career. She finally gave birth to a completely healthy Lina, with constant help and support from her sister Maithili, who had moved to USA for a few months keeping her own 4 year old son Abhi and 2 year old daughter Meera back in India with her husband. All was well for two years after which Charulata became much more busy in work and balancing Lina and work was taking a toll on her. Lina deserved undivided love and attention. Charu felt she was growing incapable of of providing the latter with every passing day. Hence with a stone on her heart she moved Lina back to Calcutta to her second mother Maithili while she focused on her career. For the next seventeen years Abhi, Meera and Lina was brought up by Aniruddha and Maithili as siblings, with frequent visits from Charulata, before Lina moved to New York to earn her fashion degree.

A Year Later...

Ahhh! I'm so emo with everybody reblogging posts from last year. 🥺 Honestly I never completed OH3 or rather I couldn't bring myself to complete it. The last chapter I played was the Hawaii one. I thought I'll get back to it when I have the mental capacity of playing through the rest of the tomfoolery but I just never felt like it. Neither the urge nor the need. I am happy in the world I created and the world everybody else created. These are Canon to me, these are what brings me joy on the worst of days. I believe some acceptance comes like that. 😌💜

Meera is still the head of the DT and her very hot boyfriend is still the chief.

The DT presently consists of Meera, Harper, Tobias and Kevin.

The DT works closely with the Aurora's team from Solomon Kenmore and they have been applauded for a lot of cases.

Meera and Ethan are the most sought after diagnosticians in the country but as Ethan has stepped back from direct patient care it has opened many doors for Meera.

Meera moved into Ethan's apartment 7 months back, they have been officially together since the attack.

Ethan proposes in another 6 months and exactly 1 year and 15 days later the two gets married.

Kevin and Aurora have just started their relationship.

Jackie and Harper are still dancing around the lines of like and love.

Bryce and Lina are getting to know each other, there aren't any sparks flying yet but they are growing close.

Sienna is focusing on her career. Having starting a new specialty she thinks she has no time for dating but little does she know her prince charming is waiting for just the right moment.

These people work crazy hours, in crazy environments and face crazy situations but they all have each other and a drink at Donahue's to fall back on whenever something goes wrong.

And I have them. These fictional people have knowingly or unknowingly grown to be a part of my life and I just can't imagine my life without them now.

Just don't mind me I might have shedded a tear or two while writing this. But honestly I just love this little corner of the internet so freaking much. I love each and every one of you. Here's to celebrating more such anniversaries. 💜
