full name: finn jean-pierre cliftongender and sexuality: cis male / pansexualpronouns: he / him / hisethnicity/species: french-american / humanbirthplace and birthdate: born in cool, california on march 27, 2243guilty pleasures: mac and cheese !! and menthols ://phobias: turning into his father, drowning, failurewhat they would be famous for: he’s one of the best damn engineering ensigns starfleet has ever seen and he won’t let you forget itwhat they would get arrested for: honestly ?? drug useoc you ship them with: my top oc ship w/ is ryan mccoy who belongs to @bcllamyblaked !! an oc of mine that i ship him w/ is cherri susen !!oc most likely to murder them: oh shit definitely carsonfavorite movie/book genre: he LOVES rom coms, like unironically, it’s kind of adorable actuallyleast favorite movie/book cliche: he hates the cliche of the son breaking out and following his dreams for the first time and the dad being like ‘son what are you doing you’re giving up your dream’ and the son says ‘no dad i’m giving up yours’ because it hits way too close to home for himtalents and/or powers: he can tie a cherry stem in a knot w/ his tongue !! he’s also amazingly clever when it comes to making puns, and he’s also got the previously mentioned engineering prowesswhy someone might love them: he’s one of those guys that’s a funny little shit and can make anyone laugh but he’s genuinely got a heart of gold ( you might have a dig a little to find it, but it’s there ). he’s been through so much shit and its taken a real toll on him, so anybody he lets in knows what he’s carrying and appreciates him for doing his best to persevere through it.why someone might hate them: that being said… he’s a real asshole to people that he doesn’t care about. like grade a white boy w/ the khakis that’s popular for no good reason kinda douche bag. in all honesty, the douchiness is a front, almost like a shield, but it doesn’t excuse him for being a dickweedhow they change: early on in his life, finn was physically and emotionally abused by his father after the death of his brother, and it really traumatized him to the point of believing that his brother was some sort of level of unattainable perfection that he needed to reach in order to be loved/accepted by his father, so after the abuse stopped, finn did his best to become his brother, and an otherwise shy, unassuming child turned into a cocky, assertive, confident suave talking guy overnight ( not literally, but still ), all in order to please a dad that shouldn’t have put his son in this position in the first place. why you love them: i love finn because there’s so many levels of depth i’ve been able to explore with him, and his family history is so intricate and complicated that it makes him feel real and i’ve had so many people tell me about how much they care about him, especially once they find out his full story and all the reasons he is the way he is and i just !! love everything this kid has to offer i wish he was real so i could apologize to him and give him a great big ole hug
