C&A Research Facilities is one of the cornerstones of the science and medical worlds! They do everything; funding research, manufacturing equipment, and research into the known and unknown in an effort to understand everything. To the public, that is.

They experiment heavily in everything, from hiring literal Gods on earth to manage the more ..sensitive divisions; mixing machine and magic, technology and the supernatural, genetic experimentation, you name it, they’ve probably done it! She is Laura Palmer, right down to her dead body, eyes closed and covered with snow instead of sand. Her death was the catalyst. She was the first one to be eaten, and her necklace is used to mark the people who will be next.

And her homoerotic relationship with Shauna? Ohhh they make me SICK. I like to think she fucked Jeff as a way to indirectly fuck Jackie, because that visual is just so potent. Yearning for your best friend so hard you fuck her boyfriend so you can taste the traces of her on him. She's jealous of her and she's jealous of him.

Shauna eats her ear so she can be closer to her, all while Jackie goads her about it.

Anyways this Good Luck Babe/Bad Romance mashup is sooo JackieShauna. Good Luck Babe is Jackie and Bad Romance is Shauna.

I want to make an animatic to this sooo bad. Just imagine during the bad romance part Shauna having sex with Jeff but Jeff keeps flashing into Jackie. 'And when you think about me all of those years ago' and it's a frame of Jackie. 'You're standing face to face with I told you so' and it switches between the picture and Shauna. 'You know I hate to say, I told you so,' and the picture is now Jackie standing there eyes obsured before flashing back to Shauna, now younger. 'You know I hate to say, but, I told you so' and suddenly the camera labs up and Jackie is now a frost covered corpse.

Arcane Animatic Idea - Kindred spirits

The whole premise is that its various scenes where characters die or nearly die, but with Kindred in them. Spoilers for Arcane.

The Lamb watched as Jayce walks to the ledge, and steadies their boy, firing the arrow just as Jayce is about to fall, only to miss as Viktor calls out to him.

Wolf running rampant through the cannery, snapping at Milo and Claggor. As Vander lies dead on the ground, Wolf walks up to him, sniffs his corpse, but then walks away (because he comes back to life in the future).

Wolf in the smoke of the bridge, crashing into enforcers and Jinx.

Lamb firing an Arrow at Viktors head, only for Jayce's arrival to startle him enough to dodge the shot.

Wolf leaping out of the hailstorm of bullets Jinx fires at the Birthday from hell, ripping into Silco's chest.

Wolf mauling the fuck out of the councilors alongside the rocket, and almost going for Viktor as well before Jayce grabs him and pulls his corpse out of the way.

Lamb firing arrows into the skulls of each evolved as Viktor 'heals' them.

Lamb shooting an arrow through Isha's heart.

The final moments of Jayce and Viktor, the hexcore replaced with Kindred's mark while the wolf mask overlays on Jayce, and the Lamb on Viktor. Never one, without the other.

There could be other deaths shown, could be less, but either way its just a cool idea with Kindred and Arcane. Bonus points for depicting them in Arcane's style.

In my post asking for sequel ideas I never said that it'd be all perfume and roses (I say that because if I said 'Sunshine and rainbows', people might point to the panel of the Signal Tower collapsing in the original comic)

@yansweetz gave me an idea that Raine could be touch-starved and that she'd let Six borrow her raincoat whenever Six gets cold. So from this I made this first sequel about Raine's trauma from her touch-starved past and her offering her raincoat to a cold Six, and Six still getting flashbacks from Raine's death (her survivor's guilt) and getting kidnapped and imprisoned by the Hunter (her PTSD) in the original timeline. But thankfully, Raine thinks of a way to comfort Six to remind her that she's there and that they are safe, and Raine gets some of the touch she's been starved of.

Mono in Hezu's 'Channel Change' AU has selective deja vu, whereas here Six in my AU however, because she's not trapped in the loop, doesn't get deja vu of the events of LN2, but she does remember everything from before she traveled back in time and created the Rewind timeline, hence why she still fully remembers Raine's death and being kidnapped by the Hunter from the original timeline. Which causes her to still have survivor's guilt and PTSD from those events. Of course, Six's PTSD would be much worse if she did have deja vu of the events of LN2 (and LN1), but she doesn't since she's not trapped in the loop. However, RCG's death, being kidnapped by the Hunter and kept locked in his basement for over a month (judging by the tally marks on the wall, though given that Mono never came to free her in 'Channel Change', I'd be hard pressed to assume that her imprisonment there wasn't much longer before the Hunter came for her), would still leave Six traumatised and with PTSD nonetheless.

I had a little trouble deciding how to draw some of the panels, so shoutout to @that-kid-bunny for helping me with Six's arms in the flashbacks of the Hunter's basement, and @penheadie for helping me with the panels of RCG stretching the raincoat around herself and Six. And lastly, I hope that I do not offend anyone in the audience who either has PTSD or knows someone that does. I'm trying to handle PTSD with tact and grace in this comic while also sticking to factors like the characters being children (therefore they wouldn't understand what's happening that well) and that LN seems to be set in the 1940s (where mental illnesses weren't as well understood compared to now), so I hope the way I had Raine get Six out of her flashbacks is okay.

Also, did anyone notice anything in one of the panels? 👀

Normally I'd draw bbh red, and during the vulture/grief arc I drew him blue! Since he's transitioning kinda between those two states I drew him purple for this, that might change to green if the radiation gets worse :333

The two middle shots of forever looking at bad and bad looking at forever are based off the skewed views of each other they had right before forever was taken over - Bad was deteriorating, and @v@ was obstructing his view of his loved ones and messing with his emotions. Forevers last convo with bbh as himself was telling him he was fine, that he was taking medication for the dark matter. Of course there's also sun and moon symbolism, but I used flower language too, which I'm super weak for!!

On forevers face are Sunflowers, which is kinda obvious based on his sun association, but I also used roses for a representation of love or affection, and finally hyacinths: which I've heard are used to symbolize rebirth, and who's origin is in Greek mythology involving Apollo and his lover Hyacinthus. He was a prince who was beautiful, and attracted the god, but in an unfortunate accident Apollo caused the death of his lover, and the god created a flower dedicated to him to mark the place of his passing and to create a rebirth for him. It's one of my favs :3

Couple things

1. In Mutiny, the way Armando Julian says "Captain", he kind of spits it out, like he's disgusted to call this man his captain right now

2. In the animatic from ElianZis, Eurylochus was originally holding a torch. He helps someone up and hands them a torch then runs off to try and save someone else. The person he ran to save gets killed and drops their torch, which makes Eurylochus realize that, by giving someone else his torch, he essentially marked someone for death.

3. Eurylochus starts off Mutiny not yelling, but pleading with Odysseus. He is still in shock after Scylla, and is trying to find any reason that Odysseus, his captain, king, and brother, would let six men die. He begs for an alternative solution even though he can already guess the truth. He knows Odysseus is a renowned liar, so by saying "use your wits to try and say I'm crazy and mad", he's basically saying "LIE TO ME AND TELL ME IT ISN'T WHAT I THINK." He's desperate for another reason... paralleling Odysseus in the end of The Horse and The Infant. Odysseus begs for an alternative option, even though deep down he knew there wasn't one. Eurylochus is doing the same thing here.

Years ago, my YouTube feed suggested a very random animatic for 2 fandoms that I wasn't a part of - death note and Good omens. That video was what led me to eventually watch Good Omens, read it, and start reading stories from Neil Gaiman.

Your webcomic, Brimstone and Roses are a part of what I look forward to every Friday. I love Bea so much, who is such a flawed and loveable human. And the way you drew her curves and her stretch marks helped me through my eating disorder.

this is o!kea from that one origins minecraft roleplay server i had with my friends and for the past couple weeks ive been working on an animatic revolving around ☝️this guy. it's my first time animating in toon boom and my first time animating PROPER and my first time animating on a laptop. its going great i work on it for an average of two hours every day because by the two hour mark i start genuinely feel nauseated. this is great i love art

o!kea sickens me though my partner could definitely go into their themes a lot better but basically o!kea is God of the world who yearns to be human, yearns for that human connection, and for a while tries to pass themselves as mortal. it goes Relatively Well (except for. the Incident) and every now and again o!kea goes back to simply Observing the world that they feel grew up without them and left them behind. they are Indescribably Lonely and Unfathomably Isolated in the way that you are when you're God, and yet at the same time so interconnected to everyone ever in that exact same way. they're drawn to passion like a moth to a flame (wow. wonder why, God Who Yearns To Be Human and to Feel In Human Ways) and this leads them to fall for a devotee of an entirely seperate religion, all because that guy is so unbelievably devoted to his faith that it makes him-

in other news, from a stupid 'yes-and' bit those same friends had, we somehow managed to saddle up with a Homonuculus Roleplay. This is- honestly what it says on the tin. Characters include Homunculus #367 or "Feliz", Doctor Cat, Doctor Furger, Doctor Pants, Eli of Eden, The Bin Beast, Wormz the Skeleton, Professor Sev, a Spiky Critter who may or may not be related to Professor Sev(?), and my personal guy, a being dubbed "Pure Science"

this guy ^ they are effectively a bag of meat with no facial features and is that warped figure at the corner of your eye

Feliz is the first ever successfully sentient homunculus, and Pure Science is a previous iteration dubbed a failure and discarded (incorrectly; hence why they're still "kicking"). Feliz and Doctor Cat have a weird jesus-god coded, child-parent, creation-creator, "you made me for a reason"-"youve grown more important to me than said initial reason" relationship. it's funny. Pure Science resents Doctor Cat for throwing them out and is trying to get Feliz to eat their creator - them and Feliz also have a weird homoerotic relationship of their own? Where Pure Science cares genuinely for Feliz but in messed up ways that aren't seperate from their desire to have Feliz, y'know, eat their creator. It's weird it's fun it's a homunculus roleplay. One minute we're shredding skateboards around the lab and one guy bleeds actual burger (because they're american) and the next-

"That ache is me. Yawning. Hungry. There is more, feliz. More than this. There is no purpose to fulfill. There are no grand finales. A homunculus' end is cold and disregarded. I can just see a little animatic for Mirror Dance with 'Amnesia was her name' and it's driving me crazy.

Can't remember when I realized I was in love/Can't remember who it was I was thinking of with him falling for Rowan and the image keeps flicking between her an Elli. Like Rowan is never fully seen, this overlay of another person always distorting.

I think it would absolutely hilarious to switch between a little hospital romance to this gritty scene of Miles' chest completely blown open to the the doctor said I have tomato loss line. Tomato loss, blood loss, same thing. But more seriously the can't remember 'cause my heart jumped and hit my brain line is really excellent for how his chest injury/death clipped his mind in the shrapnel.

Can't remember how she smiled when she said my name/(What's my name?) And it's rapidly switching between cryo-amnesia Miles, Admiral Naismith, Vorkosigan, and lastly mirroring both amnesia-Miles and Mark mouthing (what's my name?) given both of them chasing that answer in different ways.

Can't remember when we walked past the O.R. sign/Can't remember passing out with her hand in mine with Elli's gut wrenching reaction as she watches him die. She couldn't hold his hand as he died because it was ripped away mid battle, the absolute terror of not knowing where his corpse went. She can't remember which 'O.R.' he was taken to; he can't remember that she was there for him. I remember waking up with my mind repaired/I remember when I realized she wasn't there with the cascade in the bathroom. Coming out knowing who he is, and the outline of Elli on Rowan flickering and dying until it's gone and he finally sees her directly.
