7. What story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of?

For stories: Just Some Coffee. I feel like I nailed the characterization and when it comes to length v thing I hate about it, this one has the lowest percentage.

Headcanons: josh baking in the kitchen at 2am *chef's kiss* need I elaborate?

8. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi chaptered stories?

Multi Chapter stories. I want to publish a book one day and multi-chapter stories let me proactive a wide variety of things, especially things you cannot really do in a one-shot like foreshadowing, pacing, ect as well as significant character growth (or de-growth. Sometimes bad people get worse)

10. What is the line you’re proudest of from [Fanfic Name]?

For MNS, not a line but a paragraph:

Walking through the terminals, Josh marvelled at a large city map with a little star marking where he was. This city was huge, a person could get lost. That’s exactly what Josh wanted. He wanted to lose the old self, can come out as himself. He spent a good couple of minutes searching for the area his apartment mate lived in, then studying the surrounding areas. These would be his new stomping grounds. Jobs, friends, family, anything he dreamt of; all within this map.

In general, this line from Just Some Coffee: “I’m going to see if I can get a job in a hospital-- as a surgeon.” I will never be that good again. I peaked here.

25. What scene in [Fanfic Name] took the longest to write? What was difficult about it?

There are some scenes in the future that were immensely hard to write because of the heightened negative emotions in the scenes. There's one in particular where Liz and Josh have their first real fight and Josh storms out that I've been redoing almost every time I pick the fic up because I want it to be perfect. I've also had to re-write some of it because I've changed the trajectory of the fic a lot from where I started and thus the place of this scene and its function in the plot have changed, though the details remain the same.

As for things I've published, the funeral scene (Chapter 5). There were some things I wanted to imply in the dialogue with Liz and I'm not sure how it came across. I also cut the scene down a lot, which I do regret a bit. It went through a lot of rewrites.

Dear 18 May

I am intoxicated.

It’s 3am and I’m having vegetable curry rice and salmon. Also watching Friends Season 10.

Today’s daytime consisted of dreams, I was holding a baby that I had to fight for to prove I should be with her. Then I hit my head by accident, it was extremely painful. I was not okay in the head, I kept not making sense and stumbling. I had a meal of rice and peanuts and then I took paracetamol and ibuprofen and just knocked outin a nap. Then I felt I wanted to party and socialize and so I did. I had archers and lemonade and I felt so eletric. So eletric.

I feel fine and sexy tho. Hair and cheekbones look good. Time to bed

I fucking love the light storytelling in this game so much and I want to talk about one thing specifically (mild spoilers for boh)

In the prison cell for Dearday and Torgue, the description for the Cudgels and Bokken says they've been heavily padded, but if you look at the Wasters it says that they've never been used, which implies that both Torgue and Dearday preferred beating the shit out of each other with metal bats instead of using swords. It's such a small detail but i just love it so much

It's also cool how it shows the different names they've used throughout history

Happy DEAR Day from Oleba Primary School! Today, Drop Everything And Read Day, is about promoting literacy and love of reading across Uganda. For the last two weeks, teachers and pupils at Oleba Primary have been preparing for this day. This morning, I was greeted with an assembly of the entire school - with over 1,000 pupils - to talk about why DEAR is important, and then shared the time with the P.4, P.5, and P.7 classes. Some read out loud to their classmates, some shared books when there were not enough, leaning over each other to see the pages, and I shared a story about three children who learn to prevent malaria. We even had someone from a local radio station show up to cover the event. For those in Uganda, be sure to listen to @radiopacis tonight to hear some of the pupils reading and the teachers and I talk about the event! Dear 19th May 2019

Starting something new again, but that’s okay. Because life is about progress. There’s no point in beating yourself up for continuously growing, no one is born complete.

Today started as I slept at 4am. After panicking over my finances and my future in the middle of the night, I decided to close my laptop and that once the birds started singing was my cue to shut my eyes too. I then awoke naturally at 7.55 but decided not to bother waiting for 8am, because I couldn’t muster enough energy from within to start my day so early (and mainly to leave the comfort that I found myself in). I did feel fresh, don’t get me wrong. I actually felt significantly fresher then as compared to when I actually woke up. My eyes opened at 12pm, but my soul didn’t really wake up until 3pm. 

My dreams were filled with terrors, following a Groundhog Day theme I found myself stuck in a loop of reliving the horrors. Reality managed to seep into my dream, as the setting was a location I was deeply researching before I went to sleep. I found myself having to save the less fortunate from the terrors, almost as if I was responsible for them. The terrors felt like they were not in my control, almost as if relating to my awake fears of being dragged through life by my ankles. One thing I must note though is with every Groundhog Day repeat, I found myself more knowledgeable than the day before and was able to use this to my advantage. 

During my awake hours, I found myself rushing through the minutes. Just, living life. Had a good nap on the journey tho.

Now I lay in the comfort of bed, amongst soft sheets and pink coloured warmth. I am physically in my element, in my comfort zone. I decided this is going to be my format of mindfulness. I write more eloquently (and less emotional) on the computer vs. on paper.
