Linzi looked up as she was interrupted by Ekundayo, her heavy maille shirt rustling as she did. They were all dressed differently, even Tristian had traded his Sarenite robes for the earthen robes of a humble pilgrim. A large black furred wolf with a riding harness was also sitting by the fire with them, next to Tristian at the moment.

“C’mon,” Amiri growled, clearly unhappy without her oversized sword in favor of the javelins, hatchet, and small shield of a skirmisher, “We went over this a bunch of times. I’m not dumb, I’m even learning those stupid letters!”

“Stories fall apart in the details,” Ekun retorted, having wrapped his head in cloth in a Thuvian style. “I will start: Taiwo, mercenary from Thuvia. Came north to see the world, offered to guide Tristian’s party. Prefer to be left alone.”

Amiri grunted, shaking head. “Fine - Valeria, thief from Numeria. Got caught robbing a League tower, sold as a slave, broke out after pushing a mill wheel for years, looking for a new life in Gevaudan.” She glanced at Octavia, “You next.”

“You had to use that as a background…” the wizardess exhaled, shaking her head despite the large pointy hat and thick black robes she was wearing. “Okay: Aurelia, necromancer from Galt trying to redeem herself. Fond of quite good whisky, late night strolls, and hates cities.”

Their attention turned to Kaessi, wearing a worn gambeson with a spear propped next to her seat on a log. “Layla. I came here to make a new life away from Qadira, joined a village militia with other settlers, and deserted after the troll attacks.” She cast a particularly harsh glare towards Tristian - the kind that stayed whether she was feeling kind or harsh that day. “So why does he not need to lie?”

“Amalia is… not fully aware,” Tristan admitted, looking down as if in shame as he was judged by kindness. “She knows me only as a humble pilgrim who was interested in how the Kingdom of the Cleansed offers redemption.”

“The covers were my suggestion,” Ekundayo added, “to reduce suspicion.” He turned to Linzi, then frowned at her notes. “I thought you left the book behind? Too iconic.”

Linzi exhaled. Yes, he had been quite firm on that. “A Cavalier of the Paw still has her entry in the annals to consider! A worthy cause sought, and a worthier one to charge into!” She stood up, the heroicness of the pose rather dampened by stumbling. Linzi was unused to the weight of maille on her shoulders, even with the belt of strength that Valerie had lent her.

“Regardless,” the bard-pretending-to-be-cavalier continued, “You can be sure to follow Brynn into gllloorrrrrrious battle!”

“Speaking of paws,” Amiri grumbled, “where’s Dog?”

Ekun sighed. “Too known. Besides, someone else plays the role of war wolf. Brynn?”

“Oh, right,” Linzi had almost forgotten the most important part! “Thank you Sir Tristian for keeping an eye on Gnaw while at Tuskdale!”

She could see Kaessi tilting her head and mouthing ‘Gnaw’ in confusion as the large black furred wolf rose and sniffed Tristian’s hand.

“Perhaps you should get her out of the harness for tonight,” Tristian suggested, gesturing towards Linzi.

“Oh, of course!” Linzi really should have known better. She didn’t have a squire, after all! Then again, I end up playing squire often enough… she thought as she started removing the strapping. Oh, if only she could write what she was really doing: she knew readers would have a laugh at it.

Hopefully the Baroness did not realize it either. That would be awkward. And embarrassing.

While I do not plan on doing as much with Kingmaker for Owlcatober, I did want to do a few things and test the waters a bit. Since KM was my first stab into Pathfinder at all I went relatively generic, and the baroness I rolled for it ended up as the proto version of Elaina. I've been mulling on ways to reroll her to stand out as her own character. Here is my vision for the final battle in season 5 of stranger things:

First thing that is important to address - in my vision of this season, something that is established and near and dear to me is MORE KIDS WITH POWERS.

Why on earth did we bring in this character to mentor El for one episode and why oh why did we mention her again in season 4 if not to bring her back in the fight against Vecna? (important to note - i do not really want her whole crew back, just Kali)

Now here comes the new part.

If we’re bringing Max back, I want her to come back with like a baby version of El’s powers (a la Harlan season 2 of umbrella academy). Let her push stuff or mind hop or something. I want to see Max as both herself and something new after everything that went down in season 4.

And finally, the one I’ve been waiting seasons for… GIVE ME WILL WITH UPSIDE DOWN POWERS. I want to see this man Layla from Sky High it up with those vines.

Let these ‘different’, broken, and heroic kids take on Vecna and let Eleven work with a team of super powered kids rather than the entire burden falling to her like it has for seasons (i’m bored of it this is an ensemble show) Like she can have the final blow but why not use a team of super kids?

Now for the final battle.

I don’t have it all outlined but here’s the lineup:

On the one side we have Vecna and the full power of the upside down behind him, now up in Hawkins. I’m talking demodogs, demogorgons, the Mind Flayer, and more. (Think Endgame team Thanos)

On the other we have waves of people.

The first being Eleven. This girl is at the peak of her powers at this point. I want her basically flying. She’s ready to fight.

Behind her are the super kids that I just described. Will is taking control of the vines on the ground and feeling out exact where the enemy is. Max is skating pushing herself and upside down monsters around. Kali is using her powers of illusion and projection doing cool shit

Behind these baddies are our Hawkins gang armed to the teeth with weapons and armor (sort of like every season has ended but peak) This is our last team up and I want to see the adults, teens, and kids ready to defend their town one last time, one last plan.

The fight goes on and while they get in a good few licks, it seems like they are about to lose. That’s when we see…

The rest of Hawkins. I want to see these people that stayed. That claimed Hawkins as their home and would not let serial killers, gas leaks, government secrets, or supernatural earthquakes and chasms displace them.

I want to see Dustin’s mom killing monsters to defend him. I want to see Karen Wheeler single handedly take down like 50 monsters. I want to see Holly running with her light brite, leading monsters to where Nancy and Mike wait and as she runs behind them they go apeshit killing monsters like a iconic sibling team (please acknowledge that these two are siblings I’m tired of them just being like randos to each other). I want to see Scott Clarke using science to take down elements of the upside down, helping the boys one more time.

In conclusion

Eleven will land the final blow, she will probably be the ending hero. But I want to see a battle full of humanity. To show how this little town can fight. I want to see the bravery, stupidity, and heart of people within this narrative from the kids with powers feeling different but fighting for a difference, to the Hawkins gang that have been through the wringer but refuse to stop fighting this evil, to the people of Hawkins who have been lied to and manipulated but now will fight for their town, their people, their home.

What do you think of winx's fairy outfits in season 1/2?

I've already answered this! Long story short: I think they are very good and iconic. But as a bonus I'll also add that I think their regular clothes are also very well chosen. They are dated to Y2K fashion, of course, but I think they still hold up because they were picked with a lot of care and attention, and they match the girl's personalities excellently. Bloom starts with a very basic combo but by season 2 she gets something more stylized but still attuned to her personality. Stella uses bright and poppy colors and looks very... Californian? if that makes sense, like she switches to beach girl to movie star in a second with her looks. Musa also switches constantly between her hip, mildly tomboyish looks and the more femenine chinese styles. Aisha/Layla (to me she was Layla) has something a bit similar rocking the cargo mini skirt while combining it with the pastel shirt, making her look hip and comfortably girly at the same time. Tecna is the one that tends to look more comfy, however, and her outfits play with symmetry in lines. And of course, how could we forget dear, beloved, and utterly precious flora with her pink and femme looks given a pop of latinx color saturation. These girls did deserve a reboot... but one written by me.

Hinata wants to travel the world. He finally gets this dream to come true after the war, but he thinks that any person ought to learn and they’re limited if they only stay in one place. He’s very supportive of his son being interested in becoming a teacher to others because he thinks the idea of passing knowledge down is very admirable, and Hinata is very respectful of those willing to part with information or hold the responsibility of cultivating a new age and generation.

[ THREE CHILDHOOD HEADCANONS ] 

Hinata grew up in a very strict household. He’s the youngest son, and he thought because of this fact he could get away with being rebellious, hence his heavy moodiness during his teenaged years and initial opposition to serving Takumi. His habit of cutting off his sleeves stems from a disrespect to his parents and everything they bought him, but he started to like the feeling of wind and sun on his arms. You know what they say: Sun’s Out, Guns Out !

Hinata’s family is a samurai family, but his mother was merely a noblewoman. She held an appreciation for beauty and absolutely loved taking care of trees and flowers and she was also a natural cook despite the fact that she did very little household work due to the presence of maids. Hinata assumes Hisame’s pickling fascination truly came from her, though he can believe part of it is the result of teenage rebellion.

Hinata would never eat pickles as a child, a disgust he carries into adulthood. It was often a part of meals, and Hinata always steered clear from them, quick to make an ugly expression at them. He had hoped his son would grow tired of them, but he realized Hisame actually holds a love for them so he can’t hold it against him so long as it’s an actual passion.

I LOVE FELIHINA!! and layla honestly is such a dear that makes it all that much more precious to me jfkdjfsksd i remember seeing a few folks drawing a felicia! hisame and i was?? always so confused cause i admit the thought of pairing a nohrian with hinata kinda seemed weird at first to me BUT THEN I TRIED THE SUPPORTS AND BOY !!! 

hinata helps felicia grow over her insecurities and shows her that she does have the power to create and do something good, and felicia would never take advantage of hinata’s goodwill. i think the fact that they invent ice sculpting is really neat too and it can very easily be such a cool motif !! felicia’s kinda like an ice sculpture to hinata: whilst she’s easy to possibly break down out of her own anxiety, she is beautiful and captivating and something one wishes to preserve !! hinata also trying his hand at something creative with her is also absolutely adorable

2.) takuobohina

romantically or platonically, i love these three!! i think romantically, any dynamic between them all would work !! like poly or not. i feel like if it was monogamous, that the third person would easy be so supportive of their relationship and would be probably willing to babysit their kid lmao

y’all already know how much i adore obohina so i won’t babble about that but!! on a platonic note, i think these three are honestly my second fav retainer squad!! they’re so animated and supportive and the drama cd, while i don’t like it for a very specific reason, does help showcase how devoted hinata and oboro are to takumi without showing off a competitive need to be the “Best Retainer” or “Takumi’s Favorite” or anything like that-- they truly have takumi’s back and would follow him even if he weren’t royalty and them in conquest absolutely breaks my heart.... i don’t think i could ever replay their death quotes gjffdsds

3.) hinahana

I AM BLESSED FOR THE FACT JUDD AGREED TO SHIP W/ ME AAAA.... at first i wasn’t too keen on this ship, but it eventually grew on me hence why i asked in the first place hahaha

i think the two keep each other in check and whilst they can bumble with one another in conversation, they both mean well and don’t mean any offense. they stay themselves and can wholly appreciate what the other does and how devoted they are to their lieges, not growing jealous over any lack of attention and whatnot. respect and playfulness is abound.

I STILL ALSO LOVE THEIR NAMES TOGETHER... the sunshine vs flurry of snow in sunshine is SO GOOD A WEATHER THEME!!

4.) sevhina 

besides the fact that you get the ultimate tsundere hisame outta this, i think their s-support is still the funniest thing i’ve ever read out of either’s supports. i think selena has some trouble socializing due to her coldness and her sharp tongue, but hinata doesn’t seem to mind and sees her for the respectable fighter she is-- someone who puts so much effort into everything she does. perhaps he’s drawn to those with insecurities because he wants to help them feel proud and confident, but he definitely would admire her for everything she does and her work ethic and be loyal to her.

i’m also an absolute sucker for the idea of hinata going to ylisse post-war for the sake of their marriage and being excited to learn more about the world and new fighting styles and having this spark in his eye from all the wonder and excitement. him also in myrmidon fighting gear?? Heart Eyes,

it also helps that i usually like to marry ophelia to hisame in my rev files, so this way hisame has a reason to go to ylisse

5.) hayahina

who am i,,

hinata would absolutely spoil hayato !! at first it’s definitely a thing where hinata wants a little brother so he can be a big brother figure, but then he learns that even though hayato has his childish tics, he is a very dependable person who is trying so earnestly and diligently to be someone fuga can be proud of and to be a better person. it’s not just hayato trying to be manly but he’s got his own sense of responsibility and hinata grows to respect that and want to be so supportive of him in a completely different way, but he also wants to remind hayato that he can be himself and relax too

It just dawned on me that I didn’t write recaps for the succeeding #romanceclass events after #AllTheFeels. I’ve been away from this blog for so long, and now that I’m back for a blog post, I’m at a loss for words.

Mostly because so many things happened. So many great things that led to this one.

April 30, 2017, Summer Feels book launch: My dream of being a #romanceclass author came true.

July 15, 2017: I received the email from Ms. Mina asking for permission to read an excerpt from All about That Bass, my story from Summer Feels. (I screamed. A LOT.)

October 14, 2017, #FeelsFest2017: Miguel Almendras (!!!) and Vanya Castor became Liam Lorenzo and Erika Torres-

AND I’M STILL SHOOK.

It’s been a week (more than a week, actually) since the day when it all became real, but I still feel like I’m dreaming…and wow.

My anticipation for this event is no secret to the #romanceclass family, and the support I received is just overwhelming. I feel so grateful to everyone who cheered for me and got excited for the moment my dreams came true. Thank you for making this day extra special. ❤

I went to #FeelsFest2017 with my two sisters. The last time we were complete at a #romanceclass event was the first Feels Fest in 2016, and wow, how fast time flies.

One of the messages for Ms. Mina is a silent greeting from Ate Six – and it pretty much sums up how I feel for #romanceclass. I seriously had to hold back tears because I didn’t want to ugly-cry at a #romanceclass event.

You see, for years I felt like I didn’t belong. I was that girl who would sleep during vacant periods at school because I had no one to talk to about what I like and what I love doing. It was so hard for me to have “no friends” and high school became the saddest part of my life because of that.

Then I met #romancelass, and I realized that I actually have a place to belong to. This community – and I always say this every time I describe #romanceclass – is family to me. Trying to express how much I love #romanceclass is like trying to measure infinity. And now I’m thinking, maybe I had to go through high school alone because I had to start writing. My first stories were inspired by my real-life experiences, and I met #romanceclass at the time when I was ready to grow as a writer.

Look where I am now, living my dream and finally calling myself a #romanceclass author. (That nametag made me feel more legit, so thank youuuu!)

I also say this a lot but I just love you all, okay? I met very special people because of the #romanceclass family, and I am forever grateful. ❤

FEELS DUMP

Can I just say how adorable Ate Vanya is? I love her voice and she is soooo cute! The live reading of All about That Bass wouldn’t be as special without her. I just feel so light whenever she’s around. She even tweeted a message for me and I am fangirling. ❤

Kuya Gio is a legend. His one-man show during the technical difficulties was iconic. And he’s so close to #romanceclass I almost feel like he’s my brother. Plus, he kinda knows everyone. I was surprised to find out he actually knows my name, considering that I have a bias for a ~certain live reader that is not him. (But seriously Kuya Gio, you’re a legend and I love you. I hope you know that I’m always in awe of what you do for #romanceclass.)

Kuya Fred is a true prince. He transformed #FeelsFest2017 to a book cover photoshoot, and the results are so swoonworthy you’d actually want the photos as book covers. I love his voice, and I also appreciate that he felt at home with #romanceclass right away. It was only his first time at #AprilFeelsDay2017, but he already stole a lot of hearts. I know he’ll steal a lot more. 🙂

It was mesmerizing to hear Ate Sam reading the poems. Her voice just draws you in to feel what needs to be felt. On the other hand, Ate Rachel starred in another unforgettable performance with Kuya Gio. Their chemistry is just something else, we all know it. #Gahoates is still the original ship. But Ate Rachel and Ate Sam are magic. They didn’t have to read together for me to feel that. ❤

Kuya Migs. You know how special you are and how much I believe in you. Meeting you at #AllTheFeels was life-changing, and now, you’re the dream come true. Thank you for all the things. ❤

Ate Six. You have to be in this post for ~reasons. I don’t even have to enumerate them anymore. You’re the closest I have to an older sister in #romanceclass, and you’re one of the strongest people I know. Thank you for being brave. You know the rest. ❤

I was writing the information on the logbook at Robinsons Cybergate Tower 3 when I saw you and I was starstruck. Two years later, you still light up every room you enter.
