Scott: Riggins doesn't have anyone to go to outside of Jason's family, which we discover - there's this beautiful little scene - Kat Willis, who plays Street's mom, she comes up and she sees Riggins in a parking lot she's like "I know you haven't seen Jason, but listen, just because he's in the hospital doesn't mean you can't come to Tuesday dinner." It just sheds a little light- Mae: She doesn't even give him a hard time. Scott: Yeah, she doesn't. And she's not guilting him. But it lets you know, oh, once a week Riggins goes to Street's house, and that's a glimpse into what a real family that is- families come in all shapes and sizes, but for Riggins that's like the picture of maybe- Mae: A support system. Scott: That support system, and he feels like he can't go to them, either because he's blaming himself.
