Since spring is here

My favorite thing about making a fan concept of Dmtnt musical adaptation is the flowers/spring symbolisms

Costumes

I realized that some of my costumes have floral details.

I will use these three as examples

Daffodils on Will's coat symbol of new beginnings

Cherry blossom on Elizabeth's vest symbol renewal, new beginnings, and rebirth

Most of Carina's costumes are floral pattern designs.

This pattern is called chintz

This pattern has several details and it shows Carina's true character

Red details of chintz shows Carina's suffering

And butterfly symbol of growth. Same goes to flowers. Flowers had a lot ot symbolisms. Carina's character development is like a flower

Bird details shows that she's free like a bird

Fun fact: did you know chintz was banned by British parliament in first half of 18th century due to economic concerns of trading chintz fabric from India.

Spring Uprising

The name of the event of the show Spring Uprising is about resistance against tyranny and oppression.

The season of spring is the symbol of new beginnings

A lot over revolutions like American Revolution wanted to start new beginnings after British rule of America

A lot of revolutionists using flowers as symbol like red carnation.

Daisy as a symbol of resistance that was actually used in Dutch resistance against occupiers. I find out that's perfect to use this flower for my concept

Crystal

The Crystal was replaced from Poseidon's trident in my concept

If you're a Sailor Moon fan, you know the legendary silver crystal.

I've drawn inspirations from that magical crystal

The Crystal is a shape of a lotus flower. Lotus is the symbol of rebirth and resilience

The musical of Dmtnt will be about resistance and new beginnings

This fanart has to be my new favorite drawing so far… Not only I love how it loo, But I also think I finally found an art style I love !

On May 26th, 2017, fans of Disney’s mega-popular franchise, “Pirates of the Caribbean,” will once more head to the high seas as Jack Sparrow faces his biggest challenge yet in the upcoming film, “Dead Men Tell No Tales.”  To celebrate this action-packed, swashbuckler fantasy, the Poster Posse officially collaborated with Disney to give you the fans, a chance to vote for your favorite poster.  The image that received the most votes will be used as an exclusive give-away poster on opening weekend at IMAX at AMC Theaters showings of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” (US only), starting May 25 while supplies last.

I watched "Dead men tell no tales" for the first time. Did I cry out of happiness when I saw Elizabeth and Will together again? Possible.

{~} Devil’s Triangle under Blood Moon {~}

Remember the Devil’s Triangle in potc 5 ? Very mysterious and frightening place, I always was a fan of the ambiance they put on this

But have you ever wondered how would it looks if we saw it under the blood moon ?

What if Captain Salazar and his crew were released under a blood moon ?

It would add a lot in the horrific ambiance !

And tbh this is what me, and two friend of mine tought of adding in somethings we are doing..

We are currently trying to rewrite the whole potc 5 (fanfic) but adding ton of missing parts, and fixing some problems

But mostly

Give this horror vibes they added thanks to Salazar !

With us 3 beeing a huge fan of horror, and when we saw all the concept art of the potc 5, dead men tell no tales, we realized that the movies seems to suppose to be way darker than what we got

And tbh we would have love to find that dark ambiance ! After we already got those in the 3 first one and even a little in the 4…

They are also so many plot holes in the 5th that yeah we were like, we have to fix this somehow

And that’s where the magic of fanfiction arrive !

Maybe one day we’ll show it but for now we are faaaaaaar away from finishing it

Anyways have a night version that looks more magical / mystical !
