“It would be an honor, my dear.” He tugged Seonghwa forward right away by the arm before cupping his cheeks to pull him in for a gentle kiss. Hongjoong loved playing with those plump lips so he could not hold himself back from biting them and carefully sucking them until they were swollen and red. “Quite delicious, I have to say.”

Even though he was supposed to be looking to where he was going, his eyes remained on the beauty next to him. Seonghwa had always been beautiful but it seemed that that so called glow everyone talked about was definitely present on his wife since the first few days of his pregnancy. It wasn't just the warm streetlights or even the moonlight that lit their way, it was Seonghwa that looked absolutely stunning and Hongjoong could not keep his eyes off of him. "Baby, your life is wonderful because you made it so, you are so hardworking. I'm only here to love you for the rest of our lives."

Since he was too busy looking at Seonghwa, he did not see any shadow whatsoever but he could definitely feel something and this feeling of dread starting burning in his chest. "Shit, this can't be happening right now." Immediately he pushed Seonghwa as gently as possible so he can stand behind him, looking around frantically to pinpoint what they were up against. Hongjoong was aware that bringing Seonghwa into his life would put him in danger, punishing himself for being too selfish and fearing of doing the same mistake again. "Seonghwa, please don't panic but you have to go home. Get back to the hotel and let me handle this. I need you both to be safe."

He was not particularly liked in his father's coven so it came to no surprise whenever one of them visited him once in a while, especially to look for a fight. The dhampir knew his dad was not happy about his relationship with Seonghwa and certainly not about their new family, the anger already visible on his face but blind to his wife.

There was not another soul in sight as the pair walked the unfamiliar American streets in the peaceful nighttime. Seonghwa smiled over at his husband, a title that was still so new and fresh, admiring them in the moonlight. His hand held on to theirs with his fingers slotted between their own as he swung his arm ever so gently with theirs. It was nights like these, where the day had been long and their time together limited, that he appreciated most. Just a simple stroll was just what his heart needed; he couldn’t wait for their little one to arrive so the three of them could take walks together as a family.

The thought caused him to subconsciously rest his other hand over his stomach as his eyes twinkled. “Hongjoong-ah, we’re more than halfway there,” he said. “Can you believe five months have passed already?” He shook his head in disbelief and sighed, thumb brushing over the back of their hand as he smiled again. “You know, ever since I met you, my dreams have been coming true one by one. I wouldn’t have this wonderful life if it wasn’t for you. I–” he paused as he thought he saw a shadow move nearby, instinctively moving closer to Hongjoong. 

“I think I’m starting to see things.” He brushed it off with a chuckle. “Maybe we should head back soon and get some sleep.”

Hyunki hummed as he headed to the small connivence store that was close to the bus stop. He would get a few snacks and maybe heat up a meal and eat before it was time for his bus. He would make sure to keep his eyes up ahead. It was night of course and they could be out. He didn't want to have to run with his heavy bass on his back. It was quite heavy and would make him pretty sore. He shivered as he felt a chilling breeze once he reached out to touch the door. He wouldn't pay attention to it as he entered. Though he did give them a side glance "Go away." He muttered as he headed for the hot meals.

Honestly, except for one person (my bestie and Baru’s fiancée), I’m never going to roleplay Baru here again 😂 I had such a miserable experience on Tumblr trying to write stories and make friends from 2019 and back but the visual kei/jrock/whatever it’s called community is probably one of the worst I’ve been a part of. Sure, I had fun with the few people who did adopt me into their circles, but there were always cliques and I never truly felt like I belonged. That’s probably why I lost interest so many times.

As of now, I moved on to the kpop community (because kpop took over my life okay) and am having a much better time. If anyone still wants to write with me, you can follow me on @ddeonghwaya or even my OC, @soullessinstrument because I’m not going to shut people out and make them feel the way I felt with Subaru.

Even though Hongjoong wanted to mask his true emotions at this moment to not worry the younger, he could not lie to him either, he was simply not that kind of person. Hearing Seonghwa's tone only made his heart sank deeper, cursing under his breath for his lack of options. "I'm so sorry, baby. This isn't just another supernatural being that is easy to deal with." With another deep breath, he held his wife closer as he looked around exasperatedly. "It's someone my father sent and he would only send someone who's skillful enough to put up a fight with me. Needless to say, even if I can outrun him, he won't stop until he finds us again, and I can't allow that."

Learning something new every day || starter for @ddeonghwaya 

Hakyeon was always up for a challenge. As a growing youtuber he was fully aware of the growing appeal of ASMRs and how many people found comfort into the senses stimulating sounds; thus why he was excited to learn all about it from Seonghwa. 

Meeting the younger happened totally by chance as they literally bumped into each other in a coffee shop; it sounds surreal as being an idol deprives one of such simple encounters yet it happened. The dancer have heard of Seonghwa and his group as their powerful performances seem to have make enough roar to reach his ears; well deserved N established after watching a few of their videos. Over the course of following weeks they got to hang out on a couple of occasions, as a social person he wasm Hakyeon always loved to make friends: especially with people who share his passion for performing and the Ateez member was definitely one of those people. It was not only work centered as soon he got to learn about the younger’s other hobbies and likes, one of them bringing the discussion to ASMR. The whole idea of it catching N’s interest quite quickly thus why he was now bringing up his proposal to the younger. Being surrounded by loud members and crowds for most of his life ASMR seem like the escape he was looking for. 

“What if we exchange skills? You can show me all about ASMR and I can help with your performance and choreography? I know you told me you are dabbing into choreographing and have to say from watching your stages you sure have a gift for it. You seem to easily catch how body movement is translated the best in expressing your performance and how it reads to the audience so it will be interesting to work on those with you.” N’s mind was already racing with ideas for different styles they could try that he was sure Seonghwa would excel at.  “Though...do you think I have any chance at mastering ASMR? Oh and maybe you can throw in some tips on those workouts of yours that seem to have taken effect so quickly.” Hakyeon couldn’t help but smile really excited for their settlements.
