The style is a new experiment, not sure if it was successful, but it’s done, yay!

A spoilery expalanation of what is happening. Spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home under the cut!

So the explanation (which is only my headcanon for this drawing, nothing more) is a bit sad, but hopeful! Beware.

I imagine that post-NWH Peter haven't told his friends his identity to protect them and decided to just be a lone Spider-Man. However, he's not doing great isolating himself from everyone. Coming across his former lawyer by accident, he kind of starts to stalk him sometimes when he's not busy fighting criminals or doing something else (working, perhaps... I suppose he needs money). Of course, Matt notices that there's someone watching him from the outside, so he brings Peter (not recognizing him, of course) into the office. That's for the best because it's really cold outside, it's snowing and Peter's a little desperate. From this point on things take a turn for the better, and there's definitely going to be a happy ending in the future! <3

It is a set of two pictures taking place in the same universe. I'm not sure if Matt & Frank are already together in the first picture (who knows), but they certainly are in the second! Thank you for the absolutely fantastic prompts, I've had so much fun and I hope the result's to you liking!

1. 'Green' I partially used this prompt: 'Matt decides to have plants in his apartment. It's a whole lot more than what he expected.' (I haven't quite managed to express the second part of the prompt, sorry! Didn't have the heart to draw wilting plants...) Fills my DDE Free Prompts Bingo square 'Hydrate'. [Image description: Matt stands in front of the window in his flat. There are a few potted plants on the windowsill, he waters one of them, touching a leaf with the other hand. Frank stands behind his shoulder and watches the scene.]

2. 'An Otter'

I used the self-explanatory prompt 'otter' :) Fills my DDE Free Prompts Bingo square 'Quiet'. [Image description: It's a peaceful summer forest scenery, Matt and Frank are walking out of the trees to a small clearing. Matt makes a hush gersture and indicates the direction in which there is a curious otter on the rock. The otter seems to be watching them.]
