Other Random Facts:
- I spent a year on the program in 2014, so I’m very familiar with the program and have lots of info on it
- I’ve been to Disneyland Paris, but I’ve yet to make it to Disneyland on the west coast sadly
- On my previous program I performed in the Cast Choir for the Candlelight Processional (with hosts NPH, Jodi Benson, and LeVar Burton!)
- I am a big fan of most things nerdy, so I have moderate amounts of fandom merchandise scattered about (Hot Topic is my weakness) and I’m always up for movie marathons and the like
- I’ve been on tours of several WDW attractions at this point, and know a decent amount of fun facts and random stories about them
- I can sometimes be a bit shy at first when meeting people, but I’m a very warm and loyal person once I get to know people
- During my first program one of my biggest regrets was not taking enough pictures, so I’ll probably be messing with my camera a bit more this time around
- I spent last summer in Europe, so if you wish to subject yourself to it, I’m always up for sharing pictures and stories
- My DCP hobbies include spending every day in the parks (and being asked by my co-CMs why I’m always there), staging poses for ride photos, and putting off going grocery shopping until it is absolutely necessary.

I Finished My Phone Interview
I finished my phone interview! I think I did pretty good! I tried to smile a lot and use the interviewer’s name a lot. She mostly asked me questions about my time at Disney before since I’m an Alumnae.
This is what I remember being asked:
What would I do in an emergency?
What would I do if a roommate conflict came about?
What roles do I feel most qualified for?
What skills have I learned from my past jobs?
What would be different about doing the DCP again?
Other than those questions it was mostly regulatory stuff like “can you stand for long periods of time?” etc.

Home from work and online. I'll mainly be adding things to the queue. Since it's Munday and I haven't forgotten, I'm participating in it beneath the cut.
Instead of a selfie, I have a picture of something quite special. Five years ago from tomorrow, I started the Disney College Program in Florida. I'm an alumnae of the DCP Spring 2012. To keep things simple, I was a Disney Cast Member and I also took a couple of classes that were taught by Disney Cast Members with degrees in related fields. So, in honor of that, I decided to share some fun moments that have happened in my life as they relate to Disney. Not DCP moments, but the pic is a DCP pic. Before that, some background. Disney has always been a huge part of my life. My first trip to Disney World happened when I was five. With the exception of four or five summers, I've gone to DW with my family every summer. Since my younger sister is graduating high school this year, we'll probably go again this June. We went last June since I graduated college. Now, for those fun moments. I've selected five from the many that there are.
1. Getting locked out of the resort room. More of a funny moment than fun. I was twelve. One morning, I woke up to find my mom missing from the resort room. My dad and sister were sleeping, but I wanted to go find her. So, what does my sleepy mind lead me to do? Leave the room without my key card. As usual, we were staying in the concierge building. So, I thought she'd just went upstairs to grab breakfast. Nope. To make a long story short, I got locked out and sat in front of the resort room door for what felt like hours until my mom finally came back......from doing laundry at the resort's laundry center.
2. Neverland Club. This is more of a series of moments, but I'll keep this short by saying there used to be a babysitting type of center for kids at the usual resort we stay at ( the Polynesian ). It was super cool though because it felt like you were in Neverland. They'd play Disney movies like Home on the Range, they had arcade games like Pac-Man, they had arts & crafts, they had PS2s, and more. During my early years, my parents would drop off my sister and I there for at least one night per visit. We'd befriend the other kids. It's technically still there but the theme is different. It's nowhere near being as cool as it used to be.
3. Tom & Jerry. I've eaten at many places on Disney property during my life. One of them is the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. We haven't eaten there in recent years because we eat differently, but we'd go during my teenage years. When I was twelve though, a lot of my family members outside of my immediate family went with us and we ate there. What makes this restaurant such an attraction is the theme. You can watch old cartoons on a big screen. Tom & Jerry is one of my favorite cartoons and it's one of the shows I bonded over with two of my cousins. We had a great time watching it there. To get an idea of what it's like, I suggest watching THIS.
4. California Grill. Another restaurant I've eaten at. For the first time, my family ate there last summer. This restaurant is officially referred to as one of Disney's gems. Very classy with their own dress code. While the wine and food taste great, what really made this special was getting to watch Wishes - the Magic Kingdom's fireworks show and my favorite Disney fireworks show with the exception of the Star Wars one at Hollywood Studios - from the restaurant's outside walkway. The view was absolutely amazing. To get an idea of what this place is like, I suggest watching THIS.
5. Sleepwalking & Sleeptalking in the resort room. Growing up, I had a bit of a problem with doing both in general. I wouldn't actually realize I was doing either though. I was always told about it the following morning. Though, one time when I was six, I took all of the sheets off my bed and dragged them with me to my dad's room. I actually woke up while I was standing there ( once he opened the door ) and realized what I had done. Anyhow, I'd especially do this while we were on vacation. My mom was always the one to witness those moments. One time, she was preparing things for the next day and I sleepwalked to the bathroom. Apparently, I shoved her over and caused her to fall on the way. One time, when we were in our Universal resort room ( The Royal Pacific ), my sister and I had a very quick sleeptalking conversation with each other. I told her she didn't have to throw something and she told me she didn't throw it. Neither of us remember it, but my mom told us about it since she had been awake and preparing for the next day.
As I said, I have a loooooot of memories related to Disney but those are just a few. Below is the special picture I mentioned. I took it in 2012. I'll quickly explain what it is since it's better appreciated with context. The uniforms Cast Members wear are referred to as costumes. The place Cast Members pick up and return those costumes is called Costuming. Each theme park has one. Since I primarily worked at Hollywood Studios, I would go to their costuming room. Behind the sign is the room where you pick up costumes. The sign happened to be there one day and I thought it was a nice touch.
#{ out of fragments }#(( &MUNDAY. ))#{ now to eat dinner before i get started on queueing things. }#{ i love talking about disney. }

1. How old are you? I’m 22.
2. What’s your current job? I work as a writing tutor at my university.
3. What are you talented at? I enjoy/am quasi-good at singing and making cards.
4. What is a big goal you are working towards (or have already achieved)? I’m working towards reapplying for the DCP for Fall 2017! Can’t wait. Apps should drop any day now. I’m high-key terrified that I won’t get back in even though I’m an alumna.
5. What´s your aesthetic? Laying in bed reading with a thunderstorm outside and a big fireplace and a hundred pillows inside. Plaid flannel button-fronts. Long curly orange-red hair. Long, monochromatic painted nails. Books stacked up on the night stand, in the backpack, in the passenger seat of the car. Dirty disposable shot glasses on the kitchen counter the next morning. Green silk pajamas. Candles everywhere, burning so long there’s an inch of melted wax on top. Glasses full of ice and Dr. Pepper sweating on patio furniture. Denim short-shorts and tanktops. Pigtail Dutch braids and big sunglasses.
6. Do you collect anything? I used to collect autographs. I’ve always collected books, but I try to keep it lowkey. Lately, I’ve been collecting Tsum Tsums. 7. What’s a topic you can always talk about? Disney...any of my tv shows, whatever book I’m currently reading.
8. What’s a pet peeve of yours? I was just complaining to my roommate the other day about a big pet peeve, but I can’t remember what it was. I’ll go with leaving lights on in rooms you’re not using.
9. Good advice to give? Get enough sleep.
10. What are three songs you’d recommend?
1) Run by Daughter
2) Work Song by Hozier
3) My Heart with You by The Rescues
4) Bonus! Drop the Game by Flume & Chet Faker (check out the music video)
