It’s Day 284 of the Windy Wessagusset Wimple of 2024. The wind was out of the NW at 14mph with gusts to 17mph at 12pm. The temperature was 54°, and felt like it was 45°. I used the Pumpkin color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn to show the wind was out of the NW. I knit in stockinette stitch to show the wind was blowing at 14mph. It was a cool day in Wessagusset with a lot of sunshine. I wore a knit hat, and a flannel shirt outside to take my photos, but it was so chilly I really didn’t linger.Tonight we briefly saw the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) from our deck. They were faint by the late hour we got out to see them, but taking photos helped to see them. Stupidly, I erased the three best photos I got, but I will always remember them. When I was a teenager they were exceptionally strong one night, and the red glow was everywhere as I drove home. I didn’t know about the Aurora then, and just enjoyed the show. I remember it 55 years later like it was yesterday. Be safe out there.

It’s Day 284 of the Great Hill Humidity and Dew Point Differential Scarf 2023. The humidity was 50%, the dew point was 46°, and the differential between the humidity and the dew point was 4 today. I am using the Real Teal color of Red Heart Super Saver yarn. I am working my stitches in the “(K4, P2); repeat” stitch pattern to indicate the differential between the humidity and the dew point was 4 at 11am. Today began on a sunny note in Wessagusset. By this afternoon clouds began moving in, then took over. Mike had the car in for repairs today. There still is a problem when we hit a bump on the front right side so he called again. He’ll talk to the tech tomorrow. The town came and removed the the fallen tree. YAY! Be safe out there.

Bruce was found in a ditch as a kitten COVERED in ring worm and with a leg injury. My stepsister brought him to my stepdad and that's were he stayed while he and I took care of him. Unfortunately I wasn't in a place to take on a new kitty but my other sister did. He went from being half dead, covered in ringworm to a plumb and loved cat. Such a lucky boy!
