Prin noticed a shift in mood from the radio demon’s usual song selection on his station. It was bad enough that she had been sulking around the last few days, she didn’t want to hear others going through it as well. She decided to make a pit stop on her quest for oil to hopefully cheer up Alastor.

Using the last bit of gasoline in her can, she worked toward creating a different kind of summoning circle than had been made a couple days prior. Lifting her head up and cupping her hands around her mouth, she hollered up toward the window of the radio tower.

Al! I have something for you! And with that she lit a match and dropped it onto her handiwork. In an instant the ground was ablaze with the visage of a smiling face, perfect to be seen from a higher perspective.

She would clean up the mess afterward, of course. She wasn’t completely thoughtless. Well, most of the time.

Alastor perked his ears at the familiar voice, getting up from his desk to crank open the window a bit to hear more properly.

When he looked down, he saw the lovely flaming smile. He chuckled in amusement. Waving to her, he also cupped a hand to his mouth to shout back down to her.

"My goodness, dear! How positively wonderful! What delightful happy chaos!"

All the praise! Charlie might not be fond of how the smiley face was made, but Alastor was thoroughly entertained.

Shoto happily continued petting the kitten with gentle scritches, already feeling a deep calmness spread through him hearing Miso purr. Yes, Miso seemed to be a good name. He liked it.

"I'll help you take care of it, if you want?" he offered, still not looking up but, that changed when his old man had finished his explanation. Shoto looked up, stopped dead in his tracks for a moment, searching his fathers face for some indication that he was joking and found none and then....

He burst into laughter. No more than soft chuckles but still, he just couldn't help it. He couldn't believe what he just heard and the thought of his old man smooching All Might, the mental image of that was too much for him.

"And you told them what in response to that?"

Enji watched as Miso, he guess that would be his name, leaned his head toward Shouto's scritches, a soft purr emitting from the small kitten. Keeping the kitten had not been his intention when he took him in but the more and more it was becoming apparent nobody was going to step forward to claim the kitten and Enji was going to have to decide what he was going to do with him. However with how cozy Miso had become in their home and with Shouto it seemed the problem solved itself.

"I'll have to look into collars for him." Enji replied .

At the question of the rumors, Enji couldn't help but grimace thankful that Shouto was not looking.

"If you must know...apparently some have it in their head that I want to kiss All Might and have spread it around."

Talking Trash? Wasn’t that an episode. And haven’t we done 2 episodes about garage already? The magical garage ep where Big Daddy was introduced, and an ep where the woodland critters were made to clean up? I mean garbage is a standard topic for children cartoons…and Hazel is set in an urban setting so the garbage problem is different compared to suburbia

But ok you know standard kid show plot but it wasn’t bad. I felt it could’ve done more to promote recycling instead of “just don’t buy things” but hey. Also returning character in Dale with very modern development (Doug was an old oil tycoon so Dale being Elon Musk makes perfect sense).

Episode 14: Peace of Pizza

Ok so it was a fun silly premise that gave a lot of development to a secondary character. Good job.

Dawww they’re getting along, Dev acting like a normal kid is good. And haha he admitted he knows her name. Wait his name is actually Devon, cool

Awww Dale ruining the fun by wanting to throw money around. But Crimson Chin poster!! But also dawwww don’t slip backwards Dev you can be a nice boy if you want to be :(

Dawww he’s apologizing. He can learn. And even after ruining her fantasies he then played into them. Good character arc!

Ahem anywhos, very good episode. Super on the character development, very low magic (technically almost none really). So great job.

Episode 16: Cookie's Court

This one is a follow up/sequel to a previous episode huh? Took the original series forever to do that, so it’s nice to see it happening much sooner here. Plus I feel this series is a tad more linear

Another space adventurer wish? Didn’t the previous episode open this way? Yeah they even point out this is a sequel, ok

But so yeah…kind of a weak episode. I get it we’re developing a long running villain I guess, but…meh just doesn’t do it for me. Which is again fine, I’m not the target demographic and it doesn’t make it bad.

So I’m glad that there’s more still to come…at some point…here’s hoping New Wish doesn’t follow its predecessors and take multiple years to release 1 season X.x but overall I say good job to the team on this; you seem to know what you’re doing and I look forward to more.
