Imagine talking down David Drayton  from his final act, until the military arrives.

You sat in the back of the car nervously, leaning forward to the seats in front of you where David was shakily holding the gun. Everyone, save for Billy who was resting still on Amanda’s lap, was looking at him. Reality was sinking in. Everything had come to this. It was silent, save for the sound of pressure against the ground far off, more of an echo than the actual sound.

“David,” You said, soothingly, wrapping your arms around him from behind. You buried your face in his neck, the sour smell of stress and sweat strong but you didn’t care. If this was to be your last minute, you were going to spend it trying to live. Trying to convince the man that you had secretly been in love with since you moved to this town, to live.

Four bullets. You could see them. You could see him loading them. Amanda stared forward now, shaking with fear, but also with acceptance. You didn’t understand, how could she just sit there? “We went through hell, David,” You said, your voice trembling. “It took everything for us to escape from the store, from Comody. We can’t just give up now. We can’t.”

“My wife-” He sobbed.

“I know,” You soothed as best as you could. “We all lost people today. Every one of us. But they wouldn’t want us to give up. What do you think Stephanie would say if she saw you doing this? Do you think that she would ever forgive you? Because I’m telling you,” You held on a little tighter. “I won’t. I won’t ever forgive you if you do this.”

Four bullets. Six people. That meant that two would continue living. Two would have to live with survivor’s guilt for however long they they managed to survive. That seemed even worse than death. “Please, David. We just need a little rest. Then we’ll come up with a -”

The echoing started to grow louder, making you fall silent. Something was coming. Irene whimpered with fear, and Dan held her. “This is a very permanent way to end what might be a temporary situation,” You whispered, resting your chin atop of his shoulder. He was loading the gun. Shaky fingers. One of the bullets fell onto the floor of the car. He got out of your grasp to fish for it.

And then something emerged from the mist. You turned around to look at it, and you weren’t the only one. All save for Billy looked back. Amanda gasped. A tank. A military vehicle breaking through the mist. Soldiers, or assumed soldiers, walked by, and then one stopped to knock on the window, see that everyone was okay, and then kept on walking to take on the monsters that hid out there. Your tears turned into ones of joy, of narrowly missing death, of relief. David cried out too, a heart wrenching sound as he realized what he had almost done. He pulled you right back to how you were before, he pulled you back into holding him, as a way to find some sort of forgiveness for his thoughts. For his desperation. This time... this time you could forgive him.

So I've heard of parkour civilization but have never watched it Soo I'm unbiased

I kept the design quite simple but I did include the boots, since I thought they fit well with the crown

The reason why I gave them that weird effect is because I imagine going parkour you need to move a lot and in my head I made up that this way they'd be able to do a full 180 with their head, torso and move their legs without restriction

Regarding the song I picked Pathetic Paradise by DAVIDD. Since I saw 'master friend' and whatever when I looked them up I think they kinda got the 'insane' vibes in every way (idk lmao)
