NEW PROPAGANDA AND MEDIA UNDER CUT: ALL POLLS HERE
youtube
"Do you ever think Laura Linney reads her playbill bio and cries? Does she dream of the day when she too will hold a Tony Award aloft in triumph, or has she resigned herself to being one of four actresses with the biggest fail rate and will one day hold the record outright? (Given that Estelle Parsons is in her nineties, Dana Ivey is in her eighties, and Jan Maxwell, my beloved, is dead?) Anyway, the point of this isn't to rub salt in the wound. Love you, Laura Linney."
youtube
"It's too mean to title this poll Biggest Tony Winner vs. Biggest Tony Loser but it's pretty damn accurate, and given the overwhelming whiteness of award shows overall, it's damn satisfying that the Black woman is the one with a record-breaking Tonys on her shelf and the white blonde woman is not (no matter how talented she is). Audra McDonald, my beloved, you're going to sweep this entire tournament."

If there was a Inside Out 3, what would it be like?
(Poster Edit by Me/App on Android: PixelLab)
Like we already got how Sadness and Joy were lost in the first movie, than Anxiety taking control in the second film, I think I the third should be about Riley is ready to go to college next Thursday, and then, nine new emotions appear to take over Riley's mind, the names would be Love, Courage, Surprise, Pride, Trust, Suspicion, Frustration, Shaudenfreude, and the dark emotion himself, Spite. The nine emotions cannot handle it when Riley develops a new crush onto the new boy and that's where things get serious when Spite takes the eight new emotions in his control and uses Love to make Riley's crush into love madness.
As Spite gets rid of our nine heroic emotions out of their jobs, it's up to Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, Anger, Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment to save Headquarters and go through place to place in Riley's new developed mind, which is practically now a Mindtopia. And it means it'll be a lot more tricky.

What is the office superfan and the office ladies?
If I tag something “Superfans” it’s a reference to the Office Superfan Episodes on NBC’s streaming platform Peacock. Show Editor Dave Rogers is re-cutting all 9 seasons adding in deleted scenes and some never-before-seen footage. Every Superfan episode is about 4~8 minutes longer than the aired episode with lots of cut B-storylines added back in and some fleshing out of the main storylines. As of now there’s 6 of the 9 seasons up with new seasons being added roughly every 6 months.
Office Ladies Podcast is a rewatch podcast with Jenna Fischer (Pam) and Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin). It started October 2019 and every pod episode covers a single Office episode. They frequently have guests on, pretty much the entire main cast has been on at least once as well as writers and other crew and many of the show's guest stars. They're already to Season 8 but they are supposedly going to continue on after the rewatch is finished. It's not a particularly comprehensive Office pod if you're looking for deep lore or detailed analysis and they famously go off on lengthy tangents (though from what I hear they have better structure and stay on topic more than most celeb rewatch podcasts) but you'll definitely hear some interesting tidbits and learn plenty about things like the history of Carvel ice cream cakes.

Rising Pop/Country artist Brooke Moriber is thrilled to announce the release of her powerful new single, “Stay,” available Friday October 11th on all major streaming platforms. The song, originally made famous by Jennifer Nettles, has been a staple in Brooke’s live performances for the past year, and she now brings her own unique version to the studio, capturing a deeply personal journey of strength and resilience. In celebration of the release, Brooke and her band will also play an opening set for Elle King on Thursday Oct 10th at Spotlight at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. “Stay” is about a woman’s journey to finding her inner strength,” says Moriber. “That’s a theme I always try to reflect in my own songwriting. Jennifer Nettles has been such a huge influence on me as a singer, so after covering this song live for a while, I knew it was time to bring my own voice to it in the studio.” “Stay” continues Brooke’s tradition of delivering heartfelt, emotionally rich music that resonates with fans. The song’s release is accompanied by special behind-the-scenes content on TikTok, where fans can get a glimpse into the making of this deeply personal track. “Stay” is available on all streaming platforms now! Song Credits: Producer: Fred Mollin Engineer: Dave Salley Keys: Gordon Mote Drums and Percussion: Tommy Harden Guitar: Jason Roller Electric Guitar: Kerry Marx Bass: Larry Paxton Steel: Scott Sanders Synth & Percussion: Fred Mollin About Brooke Moriber: Brooke Moriber is a singer/songwriter and native New Yorker who has paved an unconventional path for herself in Country music. After getting her start at a young age professionally performing on Broadway, Brooke turned to songwriting as a teenager to cope with losing her eyesight to a rare eye disease. When the disease went into remission after a difficult four years, Brooke began traveling to Nashville to tell her own stories. Praised for her “clarion voice” (Associated press), she went on to release her first single “Cry Like A Girl” independently in 2019 and later signed with Nashville’s Reviver Records. Brooke’s music has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country (Half A Heart, Little Bit Of You, Down to Nothing) and Country Christmas playlists (All I Want for Christmas is You), Sirius XM’s Velvet, CMT online, Music Choice Network and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart. Hailed as a “stellar songwriter and a powerhouse vocalist” (Country Swag) and a “force to be reckoned with in Country music” (Celeb Secrets Country), Brooke has shared the stage with artists ranging from Cyndi Lauper and The Gin Blossoms to Dylan Scott and Caroline Jones. Earlier this year, Brooke launched her bi-monthly “Nashville In New York” (NINY) songwriters series, hosting and performing in shows that have been selling out to crowds experiencing a Nashville style writers round at the iconic Bitter End in New York City, sponsored in part by Music Choice, KICKER Performance Audio, Lucchese, Suerte Tequila and Taylor Guitars. Previous NINY shows have showcased the talents of Jeff Cohen, Kara DioGuardi, Ian Flanigan, Toby Lightman, Jon Stone and members of the 615 Collective (which includes tunesmiths Aaron Goodvin, Sarah Darling, Michael Logen and Nicole Witt). This fall, on Saturday November 9th, NINY will return to The Bitter End on Bleecker Street in NYC for the fifth installment of the bi-monthly series. Brooke will, as always, host and perform at the intimate acoustic storytellers style performance event, with talented co-stars TBA. Brooke also recently hosted and performed alongside acclaimed songwriters Randall Fowler, Matt Stell, and Erin Kinsey plus special guest star Kenya Reese with MC Jim Murphy from Music Choice Network at Wild Goose Saloon in Denver, CO for a special “Nashville in Denver” event. When she is not bringing Nashville to New York or Denver or performing somewhere else on the road, Moriber is hard at work in the studio with some of the industry’s top writers and producers, including Todd Lombardo and Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves), Karen Kosowski (Mickey Guyton), David Pittenger (GAYLE, Parmalee) and currently working on a project with Sol Philcox Littlefield and preparing to go in to the studio with Emily Shackelton and Claire Wyndham to record a special collaboration as a trio. Chicago River Pollution Causes Greatest Feat of Engineering in the World...
It's time for another Truthnado!
This one's a geographical I guess you'd call it. I live in Chicago and in Chicago we have the Chicago River and here's a truthnado, if you don't live in Chicago you might not know.
The Chicago River flows away from Lake Michigan. It's the only river that flows away from the lake. Why is that? Here's is a truthnado on a why.
Back in like the mid 1800s to like later 1800s the Chicago River was used as dumping grounds for the slaughter houses, raw sewage, industrial chemicals and lots of animal waste from the old stockyards.
Chicago was known as the hog butcher to the world, so people were dumping rotten pig carcasses in it. All the raw sewage from the city was dumped right in there. Chicago was also the hub of manufacturing. We had so many factories and they were dumping whatever industrial waste they had back in those days in the river.
I don't know exactly what the environmental standards were for dumping industrial waste in the river but they wasn't much. They wasn't much so, the river was filthy. So polluted it was causing e-coli outbreaks and people were, it was unsafe to be near.
The lake got unsafe to swim in. With the diseases it was producing, rich white people were actually starting to die so something had to be done. So in 1887 the powers that be got together and figured well we can we got to we got to stop polluting it. We've got to get some strong regulations about what you can put in the river and we got to have a really advanced hardcore cleanup effort or we could have some marvel of engineering and reverse the flow of the river and dump all that crap into the Mississippi and that's exactly what they did.
You're welcome Missouri. Yeah
VO: and here's how it worked. Just west of Chicago is what we call a subcontinental divide. It's a high point geographically but since the area is so flat you barely notice it. Still any water on the west of the divide flows westward down toward the Mississippi. Anything to the east flows toward the Great Lakes. Chesboro thought if we could only dig a ditch or canal through the divide and make it deeper than both the river and the lake then gravity would do the hard work and carry all of Chicago's dirty stinky water in the other direction and away from the Great Lakes.
But yeah they got it so the river flows into the Mississippi and all that garbage and trash was going right to the Mississippi. But here's a brighter Truthnado.
The Chicago River is much cleaner these days. No thanks to the Dave Matthews Band by the way.
News Report: The Dave Matthews Band tour bus dumped 800 pounds of human waste on a river cruise that was going underneath the Kinsey Street Bridge. The boat passengers on the architectural tour say it ruined their clothes and made several of them sick. The band's tour bus driver admitted to doing it, paid a fine and served a year and a half of probation.
Can you eat the fish out of the river? I wouldn't but there's more there's over 80 species in there now there used to be less than like even far as the 70s and can you swim in it? No I wouldn't I wouldn't swim in it yet but it's getting cleaner and hopefully one day it'll be a pristine body of water. Wouldn't that be nice?
VO: Chicago had solved its drinking water crisis and also accomplished what is still considered one of the greatest engineering feats in the history of the world.
Well thanks for watching Truthnado.
Please share, like, subscribe. Thank you.

i used to rp dave religiously and my hc was pretty firm in the "he was abused by bro" take but i always had like a kinsey scale from "bro went a little far and didn't understand how his being neurotic had a bigger impact than he meant to on dave" to "kill him with fire" and you really just have to read the room and assess everyone's comfort levels first. i'd often go with the lightest side possible going into something without knowing what the mood is yet, never wanna be a party pooper
i'd especially hate to run into like, a john who wants to play the savior without asking for that kind of plot first, sometimes a guys abuse is just part of his backstory that comes up in more emotional scenes from time to time and doesn't have to have the whole plot revolve around it if youre just including it to implement little behaviors and symptoms into how you write him. ESPECIALLY if those johns just automatically start handling dave with kidgloves like he's some wilted flower who needs to be coddled and comforted and like... arm chair psychiatrized
i have absolutely nothing to add to this but you are SO RIGHT!!!!

Houston Texas Appliance Parts: European VCs Rescue Mythic; Fick Becomes CEO
Houston Texas Appliance Parts
European VCs Rescue Mythic; Fick Becomes CEO
by Houston Texas Appliance Parts on Friday 10 March 2023 01:21 PM UTC-05
Dave Fick (Source: Mythic)
AI chip startup Mythic, which closed its doors in November after running out of funds, has reopened for business following a $13 million investment from existing and new investors. Co-founder Dave Fick has moved into the CEO position; he was previously CTO. Former CEO Mike Henry has left the business, the company told the press today.
Mythic's technology is based on analog compute-in-memory technology, using an array of Flash transistors. The idea is to use the Flash transistors as variable resistors in an analog computing scheme, which requires driving the transistors at 265 sub-threshold levels (for 8-bit compute). This requires significant calibration and compensation schemes, which is where a large part of Mythic's secret sauce is. Analog compute is appealing since it can offer very low power, fast computation for matrix multiplication in AI inference at the edge.
The company previously released two products, the M1108 and the M1076. The M1076 is a 25 TOPS (INT8) edge chip with a power envelope of 3 W, designed for video analytics. Latency for YOLOv5 was 33 ms. At the time of launch, Mythic told EE Times that the M1076 was getting traction in video surveillance, industrial machine vision, drones and AR/VR applications.
"Mythic has already seen strong demand for the M1076, so we're confident that our next-generation processor will be widely adopted in computer vision applications like smart robots, security cameras, drones, and AR headsets," Mythic's CEO Dave Fick said in prepared remarks released today. "The potential for analog computing is truly limitless."
Mythic also said today that the M1076 had been shipping to customers, including Lockheed Martin.
Mythic's second product, the M1076, on an M.2 card (Source: Mythic)
"At Lockheed Martin Ventures, we want to take smart risks by investing in advanced computing capabilities that our customers can adopt and expand to outpace complex threats within a rapidly evolving landscape," Chris Moran, VP and general manager of Lockheed Martin Ventures, said in prepared remarks. "As geopolitical tensions continue to rise, it is imperative that we continue to work with our customers in identifying their needs and supporting companies that can scale technologies that keep the U.S. and its allies in front of those threats."
Fick plans to bring to market a next-gen product, the M2000. While details are scarce so far, Mythic has said the M2000 will build on the legacy of its first-gen products and it is planned for production next year. Fick has restructured the company and plans to remain capital efficient by keeping development in-house with a "tight-knit team," according to the company.
Mythic was founded in 2012 by Fick and Henry as a spin out of the University of Michigan.
Mythic previously raised $165.2 million before closing its doors in November last year. Today's $13 million round of investment came from existing investors Atreides Management, DCVC and Lux Capital, plus the British VC firm Catapult Ventures and the Austrian firm Hermann Hauser Investment.
