Okay SO

The Dolce Vita game is going to be the first ever “Love Simulation” game for UtaPri. What inherently does this mean? Well if you read HERE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dating_sim It would appear that part of it is that the game involves time limits, raising stats or a possible “attraction meter”. It should also be noted that these games are NOT to be confused with VNs...turns out that they get confused in English speaking countries with that when they shouldn’t...OOPS! For fun I wanted to see if I owned any games that are like that...I actually do!

THIS is the PSP game “La Corda d’Oro” which I will remind you also has Kishou Taniyama and Mamo as part of the cast at one time or another Now what is its classification? I’m glad you asked According to THIS wiki page

This is gameplay from La Corda and if I am right then what we could be getting ready for is a game much in the same vein as this with Dolce. Here is what will become interesting then We know HEAVENS is a part of the cast...haven’t seen Raging but I think we can assume he is involved in some way. IF they are doing Dolce like this then we can expect in some way all 18 to be involved with a free roam element in the game (whereas some VNs would be point n click in a way) so it might become possible to roam from one school to say...wherever HEAVENS hangs out! OR They could do it like how they do in DiaLovers! In order to open the Mukami house you must first clear a Sakamaki route (because in the DiaLovers games you have to be taken to the Mukami house in a route anyways) so they could make it where you can’t go to the Raging school UNTIL you clear a boy at Shining. Now this is all speculation BUT from what I have gathered from the limited reading we can do right now with the site that this will be a radical departure from the original games BUT I am welcoming this change because its something that involves “evolution” of the series so let’s see if this has something to do with it and if so then things are about to get VERY INTERESTING
