Q. What was the thing about his game that impressed you the most and gave you the most trouble? ROGER FEDERER: Well, he's an outstanding athlete. Of course he moves totally different to most of the players. His forehand is huge, you know. Even on the run, you know, can hit it with the spins, backhand to the court, make you hit another tough shot. We'll see, of course, very much from him in the future. So for me this was a big match because I know what a great player he will be one day.
2005: a year after defeating Roger Federer in a shock upset in Miami, Rafael Nadal meets him for the second time in the 2005 final of the same tournament. Despite being up 4-1 in the third set, he eventually lost the match 6–2, 7–6, 6–7, 3–6, 1–6.
