This is my two ocs and a faction I made up. And it’s a short story (rough draft)
Velocitron, 1982, off the tracks.
Velocitron, a planet  known for its race tracks and big city, Delta, but what it wasn't known for was its desert landscapes. The planet was more organic than Cybertron, Cybertron being a whole metal planet, Velocitron was not. There was the big city and the race tracks for the big Speedia games, but no one ever went out of the city or let alone off those tracks. Till now, outside the outskirts of the city a femme was in the desert. She was wandering the landscape ahead, seemingly going nowhere in particular. She is a cybertronian, her color scheme is black, red and gray with red optics (eyes). She is a seeker, though not of the Decepticons like on Cybertron. No, this seeker is a part of a faction called the Darkseekers, a faction known for using the shadows to their advantage and mainly going out at night. This seeker was different, she was more curious and didn't follow most of the rules or much cared. She wondered further into the desert-like landscape, kicking rocks and sand as she went. Her red optics scanned her surroundings, hoping to find something more interesting than the old textbooks at home.
The city was almost out of view now as she walked, going towards the mountains in the distance. She didn't get far till she heard engines roaring, coming from behind. She spun around, expecting to see a foe or some kind of enemy, but instead she saw a fellow Darkseeker. She relaxed and waited for the other seeker to arrive. The new seeker, mid air, transformed from her jet mode to her humanoid form, landing in front of her. This new seeker was much like the first, but her colors were shades of blue and black with blue optics, and her frame is shorter in height. She spoke, a little out of breath, “Nightingale! I found you… mom needs you home.”
The one called Nightingale, huffed, crossing her arms, “I'm sure it can wait, I'm trying to look for something interesting out here.”
The second seeker looked anxious now, speaking more urgently, “oh come on, just come home and listen to mom. I'm sure your adventure can wait. Besides, it's dangerous out here.”
“Pfft, oh please. It's not that dangerous, and mom can wait, she’ll forget soon anyways. How about you come with me, Admirlynx? You can watch my back.”
Admirlynx looked uneasy about going with Nightingale, wringing her hands together, “what if something happens? What if the stories about the mountains are true…”
Nightingale rolled her optics, crossing her arms. “Don't be such a big baby, the stories aren't true. They’re just told to scare you as a sparkling.”
Admirlynx frowned, unconvinced, “but what if they are real? Like the stories about the dweller, a beast that lurks in the mountains and sucks the energon dry from cybertronians!”
Nightingale stared at her blankly “you believe that scrap? Come on, those are legends.” she turned and kept walking, “you can come with! Or you can go back to mommy!”
Admirlynx hesitated, looking back at the city and then Nightingales retreating form. Torn between staying safe and making sure Nightingale stayed away from trouble. She bounced on the balls of her feet, her gaze darting between the two, “argh! Wait for me!!” She made up her mind and darted after Nightingale.
Catching up she panted slightly, speaking between breaths, “if we get…. Killed… i'm killing you myself!”
Nightingale chuckled, keeping a steady walking pace as she spoke, “fair enough. Now come on slowpoke, we have some mountains to explore.”
Admirlynx sighed and followed Nightingale deeper into the mountains.
The two seekers walked for a good thirty minutes, passing by rocks and abandoned ships or wreckages from the old war. Each ship, Nightingale insisted on exploring, but unfortunately each time they found nothing that was worth anything in the ships. Finally reaching the more mountainous region, Admirlynx spoke up, “hey, shouldn't we head back now? I mean, we've found nothing so far, and I'm getting sand in my servos and gears.”
Nightingale stopped walking and looked at her, frowning. “Oh come on, just a little longer. It hasn't even been an hour yet! And if it makes you feel better you can have an oil bath first.”
“That doesn't make me feel better.” Admirlynx muttered, reluctantly following Nightingale. Nightingale rolled her optics and kept walking, going higher into the mountains and rocks.
After what felt like hours of walking and finding nothing interesting or worth it, Nightingale finally spotted something, “look! A cave! Let's go check it out.” she darted off towards the cave, with Admirlynx trailing behind. The cave was on the side of a cliff face, the opening big enough for them to walk through. Nightingale waited for Admirlynx to catch up before turning on her null rays light beam, walking into the cave. The cave was well structured but damp, water dripping could be heard. Admirlynx groaned, “I'm gonna rust in here.”
“Oh shut up,” Nightingale was starting to get annoyed by Admirlynx’s complaining. “It's part of the fun, and you won't rust from some dampness.”
They both moved deeper into the cave till the entrance wasn't visible anymore and the only light was from Nightingales beam. Time sped by quickly as they walked, taking turns, ups and downs, eventually coming to a fork. Nightingale grumbled, looking down each tunnel, “we have to choose, left? Or right?”
Admirlynx fidgeted with her hands, “how about neither? And we head back? I like that idea”
Nightingale gave her a deadpan look, “seriously? Head back? We could find something great here!”
“Sure, maybe. But this place doesn't feel right, none of this does.”
Nightingale rolled her optics “you're no fun. How about this, we go right, and when we hit another fork in the road we’ll go home, deal?” Admirlynx sighed, “alright, deal. Let's just get this over with, please.” Nightingale nodded, satisfied with her response. The both of them went down the right tunnel and further into the mountain. They walked for another good twenty minutes, Admirlinx was getting tired, but Nightingale was determined to find something.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity they made it to another fork. Nightingale sighed, turning around to head back. “I am keeping my word, we’ll go home now”
“Ugh, finally. I don't think I can stand it in this damp place any longer.”
They didn't get far before they heard a low growl from above, they both froze in place with fear. Nightingale slowly looked up and pointed her light beam above them. Straight above there was a tunnel, and in that tunnel was a large worm like creature with two large eyes and several others, along with probably sixteen legs and two tentacles. Nightingale immediately covered Admirlinx’s mouth before she could scream. “Slowly, very slowly start to walk away. We can't startle it.” nightingale whispered. Admrilynx nodded and Nightingale removed her hand. They moved slowly and carefully, watching the creature carefully. The creature made some clicking noises, also watching them, but more like they were prey. Admirlynx whispered, her voice wavering “I-Is that a… Dweller? You think?” Nightingale nodded, fear etched on her face “I think so…. But they're supposed to be a legend. Not-” She was cut off by a screech from the Dweller as it jumped down from its tunnel.
Admirlynx screamed and did not hesitate before turning tail and running down the tunnels. Nightingale panicked and ran after her, “Admirlynx! Wait!” she yelled. They both ran, hoping to find the exit fast, the Dweller wasn’t far behind them either. It roared, the cave rumbling as it chased after them, its two long tentacles reaching out for them. Nightingales optics widened in horror. She turned her thrusters on and flew through the tunnels, scooping up Admirlynx on the way. The Dweller screeched and sped up, determined to grab the two seekers. Finally the exit came into view and Nightingale pushed her engines to their limits, shooting out of the tunnel and tumbling to the rocks and ground. They both landed hard, groaning as they struggled to get up and away from the cave and Dweller. The Dweller screeched and burst out of the cave, making Admirlynx scream again. But as the sun hit the Dweller it screamed in agony and retreated back into the cave, the sun burning its skin. Both Admirlynx and nightingale collapsed to the ground, breathing heavily and their sparks racing.
After that shock, they went home, and Nightingale vowed to never explore out of the city again and stay home with the old textbooks instead.
