A/N: Hey guys! Go read this post (NSFW is in this) please! Thank you ^.^

“The chances are-”
“-Slim, I’m aware, Angel, but unless mother can come up with something, we have to take the risk,” you answered, glancing up from your tablet. “Anyways, you said you were here for business?”
“Yes, it came to André’s attention that some of your men might need to be retrained,” she replied, taking a seat in one of your chairs across from your desk. “And Auntie needs to know if you’re still able to handle judgements. She doesn’t want to put too much on you right now.”
“I’m-”
“-okay, we know,” Angel snorted. “It was only a matter of time before we got that from you. However, you know just as well as us that if you get stressed enough, you’ll find yourself in those moments.”
Your eyes lifted to meet hers before they shifted to the door as Dark stepped in, his nose scrunching at the sight of your sister.
“You would think he would get over Gods being here, since it’s our territory now,” Angel hummed as she glanced back at him. “You two-”
“Angel,” you warned out of habit before you noticed how Dark seemed to relax a bit more after that.
I believe he’s completely new to anything romantic, Sébastian mused and you shook your head at the Monstre before meeting Angel’s eyes once more.
“Sébastian has taken on some of my roles, especially the ones dealing with Noir. I can still handle judgements on top of our current situation,” you spoke. “Tell Auntie thank you but I got it figured out. As for the training, send a list and I’ll have Maxence send out the orders.”
Your eyebrows furrowed, lifting your eyes to Angel who shrugged in response, and Sébastian hummed in the back of your head.
Time for a favor from Juliette and the Hellhounds, don’t you think?
“Sébastian,” you spoke, your eyes glancing over to the side as the Monstre appeared beside you, “I think it’s time you pay some friends a visit.”
~
“Are you sure you want to do this, Y/N?” Juliette Pierre questioned over the phone. “You may hate the results.”
“No choice in the matter, Juliette.” Your eyes lifted to Apollo’s as you watched the God set books on your desk. “Summon me or Sébastian and we’ll be there for results when you have them as fast as possible.”
“Will do.”
You gave each other your goodbyes before you set your phone down, your hands reaching out for the books. Your nose scrunched as you lifted your eyes to Apollo’s once more.
“The next task you get, sweetheart, comes to me, Anti, or Dark, you hear me?” He warned and you raised an eyebrow at him. “Got it?”
“Yeah, got it.”
“You swear it?”
Your eyes drifted towards the new presence in the room, Dark standing at the open door and Anti wasn’t far behind him.
“You three agreed upon this?”
“Y/N, do you swear it?” Apollo repeated as your hands hovered over the books you needed.
If he had asked for a promise, you would have easily agreed to it but a swear, a God’s swear, was a different story.
Promises could be broken and have no repercussions, the worst thing to happen was hurting someone. A God’s swear? That had many repercussions – the worst one being that whoever you swore too had the ability to have you has a servant. You doubted any of the three would do that to you but it’s not often a God had to swear.
“Y/N?”
“Apollo, I ca-”
“Goddess.”
You tensed for a moment, recognizing that tone of voice before you were lifting your eyes to meet Dark’s.
Please.
You froze, eyes wide as you stared at the entity who raised an eyebrow back at you. You knew that voice and you knew it was Sébastian’s, it wasn’t even Monique’s. It was his.
I’ll explain when I get back, Sébastian rushed out and you watched as his eyebrows furrowed for a moment before realization flashed through his eyes.
“Doll?”
You jerked forward just a bit as your eyes shifted over to Anti and you winced for a moment before your eyes went back to Dark’s.
“I swear,” you murmured and watched a flicker of pride flash through his eyes. Feeling your cheeks warm up, you adverted your eyes, grasping the books as a chuckle left Apollo’s lips.
“Never thought I’d see you flustered, sweetheart.”
A noise left you as you felt your cheeks grow hotter and you narrowed your eyes at Apollo whose grin widened.
“Go away.”
“Nah, I want to tease you some more.”
Another noise left you before you gathered the books off your desk as you stood. You shot a glare over at Apollo as laughter left his lips.
“Didn’t think you would be this easy to tease, sweetheart,” Apollo admitted and you stared at him. “What?”
“How many relationships do you think I’ve been in?”
“Oh, so you two are in a relationship!”
“No! Wait, that’s not what I- Apollo!” A scowl found your lips as Anti began to join him in the laughter and a sigh left Dark’s lips.
“That’s enough of that,” Dark spoke up and Apollo hummed.
“Jumping to your lo-ow! That really hurt!” Apollo scowled over at you, rubbing the spot on his arm that you struck.
“What is going on here?” Sébastian’s amused voice drifting into the room and you and Dark both looked at him with a scowl. “Hello to you too.”
“Can you two give us a moment?” You questioned, looking between Apollo and Anti. “Sébastian needs to talk to Dark and I.”
“Awe, we can’t stick around?”
“No.” Dark stared at Apollo who pouted in response before pointing at you.
“You owe me.”
“I’ll buy you dinner when this blows over.”
“That’s two dinner dates now!” Apollo sung as he headed out the door, giving Anti a shove first.
“They’re not dates!” You objected after him and heard the crackling of his laugh ringing through the halls.
“You know Apollo doesn’t care,” Sébastian mused and you scrunched your nose, watching as he shut the door behind him. “I’m sure your mind has already figured it out, Y/N.”
“It has to do with the ring, doesn’t it?” You questioned, your eyes meeting your uncle’s. “Which makes sense when you think about it. It took how long after I got the ring for us to be connected? Well, it makes sense that you and Dark can communicate that way but how can Dark and I?”
“If you really tried, you could communicate with your mother,” Sébastian hummed, his eyes glancing over at Dark as the entity leaned back against your desk. “However, it could also be that you two are connected that way because you both wear one of my rings. Well, you did at one point but Ares currently holds it.”
“Hades should be by with more crystals so I can make Ares one soon,” you murmured, your eyes glancing over at Dark, watching the annoyed look past through his eyes.
“Good, don’t want to be connected to that-”
“Sébastian!”
~
“Look, I know where you’re getting at, Y/N, but Flinn says he can’t tell anyone and, before you suggest it, I already brought it up to him about asking but he says the Source doesn’t allow anyone to go see them,” Ivy stated over the phone and you scrunched your nose as you paced in front of the library window.
“They’re the oldest Pantheon and not even Warriors can speak to them,” you sighed and was met with silence. “Ivy?”
“You really haven’t gotten far in reading that book of yours, have you?”
“Which one?” You furrowed your eyebrows, glancing towards the table where Dark, Apollo, and Anti sat. Anti met your gaze with a raised eyebrow, Apollo shrugged, and Dark glanced back at you for a moment before returning to the book in front of him.
“Warriors of the Source, the one you have to keep up on,” Ivy hummed and you could hear a quiet click, signifying she had locked herself – and probably Ryan – in a room for no interruptions.
“I’ve read it beginning to end, Ivy.”
“Then you need to read it again, because you, Angel, pretty much anyone that deals, or dealt in your case, with life or death all started somewhere and, between me and you, they didn’t start with Gods.”
“What?”
“Hell, did Dark make you go dumb?” Ivy snorted as your pacing came to a stop. “When you get the chance, look up Evacska Consano and Sephtis Proeliator.”
“Ivy, what do you know that I don’t know?”
“Life, Death, and even Fate Gods, Y/N? They all have one thing in common.”
“How?”
A sigh was heard from the other side of the phone and your pacing began back up until an arm blocked your way. Lifting your eyes, you met Dark’s who raised an eyebrow at him.
He knows you’re beginning to stress, niece, Sébastian spoke gently as murmurs began through the phone.
“You didn’t hear this from me,” a new voice drifted into the phone and you furrowed your eyebrows. “Flinn would just sigh and shake his head if he knew I told you, girly.”
“How come I’m not surprised, Jay?” You questioned and a chuckle flooded the phone. “What didn’t I hear?”
“As Ivy stated, Life, Death, and Fate Gods all share one thing and that one this is ancestors,” he answered.
“Ancestors?”
“Yes, not long after Sins were made, the Source made another race. There was no name to the race back then. Back then, magic users were royalty and no one was afraid of them like they are today. Today, we call this race the Personifications. We don’t believe they are alive today but there is a possibility.”
“Evacska Consano and Sephtis Proeliator were one,” you concluded and met Dark’s gaze again before watching as he turned to glare at the two teasing at the table – the only two, aside from Sébastian, that knew that there was…something going on.
You two really needed to talk more about it.
“They were, yes. Evacska was the Personification of Life and Sephtis was of Death. While they tried to stay away from each other, they failed – mainly because Evacska wasn’t supposed to become Life but her mother had died giving birth today and the Personification of Destiny had crafted Evacska and Sephtis to be soulmates, on request on Evacska’s mother.”
“They had a child and this child has something to do with Fate, don’t they?”
“You’re correct. Forget that you’re a quick learn,” Jay hummed. “He did. Kyrell, he became the first God, thanks to Evacska and Sephtis, and he became God of New Fate.”
“I’m guessing that I’m supposed to get that Angel, my aunt, mother, and I all have it in us to know how to kill Azazel?”
“All I’m saying is that if there is someone out there who knows how to kill anyone, it would be those related to them. I said Personifications are believed to be dead.”
“Kyrell isn’t a Personification.”
“Atta girl! No wonder Ivy likes being friends with you. Do me a favor and tell-”
“I am not telling Hera hello for you. She doesn’t like me. Visit her yourself.” You rolled your eyes, listening to Apollo snort as the phone was past back to Ivy. “I’ll be going on a hunt.”
“So you will. Let me know if you need help.”
Biding a goodbye, a sign left your lips as you turned towards Dark, your eyes glancing over his shoulder at Apollo.
“So, who wanted you to say hello to Hera?”
“You know the hero that went to get the Golden Fleece from that King for another King?”
“Yeah.”
“That’s who. Ivy’s uncle…and cousin technically.”
“What’s he the Sin of?”
“Homosexual relations.”
“Yikes, poor Medea. Wonder how Hecate took that.”
You gave a shrug to the God before a sigh left your lips once more. As you opened your mouth to say something, the swear you made came back to you and your eyes moved to meet Dark’s who let out a soft grunt.
You’re working on the same task, Goddess, came his answer to your unspoken question and you nodded, looking back at Apollo who raised an eyebrow.
“Apollo, how far back do your history books go?”
“How far back are you needing?”
“If I understand correctly, I’m going to need to go as far back as Pastros.”

Heyo!
I know, I know, I suck at posting regularly right now and I apologize. I start working and then lost even more motivation but, now, my fiancé as allowed me to stay at home and focus on my writing and ze baby! Shouldn’t say allow, we talked about it and we both agreed that it would be okay for me to do so.
Anyways, I’ve been working on the next part of Warrior of the Crown and I’ve come to some conclusion on the relationship that is happening. You’ll have to hit the read more to know what I’m about to say next because it’s kind of NSFW.
As I write part 11, I’ve realized something about the relationship that is slowly brewing between the reader and Dark and that is that they are slowly becoming one of a ddlg or also known as cg/l (daddy dom x little girl/caregiver x little). Talking with friends, they helped me figure out that I am going to keep that dynamic in for them because, in the end, it does sort of fit them. I mean, after everything the reader has gone through, I think it may be expected lol

Imagine
(Darkiplier x Reader)
Imagine laying in bed, staring at the ceiling. Listening to the rain pour outside.
The pattering of rain, the beating of your heart, your breathing. That is all that is heard within your little home.
The air changes and suddenly you can hear heavy footsteps within the house.
They get closer. You shift to see who's there, the rustling of fabric is added to the noise within the house.
Standing at the doorway is Dark.
He smiles slightly at you. Hair and clothes wet from being in the downpour for a few moments before he voided over to you.
Nothing needs to be said. The mismatched eyes that stare at you says it all.
How much you mean to him.
How much he adores you.
Heavy footsteps again.
He's walking to the bed. To you.
He's looming over you now.
His gaze warm as ever as he lowers himself.
Soft lips press against yours, showing you how much of a hold you have on his heart.
You are his Queen. His goddess.
You are his everything.

Untitled (Darkiplier X Reader) Ch. 6
You watched the man going back and forth around the house, fixing things here and there but always keeping near. It’s like he didn’t want to let you out of his sight-just in case you did decide to run away...or at least try to…
You knew you had to get out of there though. You needed to go home or at least somewhere that you could stay away from these freaks of nature. But he wouldn’t even let you near the phone anymore-he said that you had talked to enough people to last you a lifetime…
You regretted not taking off sooner than later to say the least.
It wasn’t necessarily that he was bad or mean at all-hell, he treated you like a goddess/god practically-but...something about being above another just didn’t sit right with you. And being pampered like this would eventually get tiring…
You just needed to get out. And hopefully this time-make it home.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and you were drawn from your thoughts. Yan was smiling lightly. “Are you alright Senpai? You seem lost…”
You smiled some and nodded. “Yeah, I’m ok. Did you need something?”
He hummed some before shaking his head. “No, I was just wondering though if you needed something.”
You blinked and shook your head, slightly confused. “No, I’m alright. Really.”
He pulled his hand away and rubbed his fingers a little. “Well I...I want my Senpai to be more than alright. So…” He sat next to you and placed a hand pretty high on your thigh. Wait-no- “Do you need something to...make you feel better?”
You blushed profusely as you stared into his eyes which glowed a slight red. He wasn’t possibly suggesting-you and Mark hadn’t even-
You laughed lightly and pulled his hand away from you. “Ah ha, n-no, I’m alright Yan. Really, really alright.”
“But, I want to make you better than alright Senpai,” he whined some.
You stared at him and knew he wasn’t going to let this go. But your heart was still for Mark and although he looked like Mark-he wasn’t.
You smiled gently and took his hand. “Well Yan, there are other ways I suppose I could be better than alright…”
He tilted his head some and asked, “Like what?”
You smiled some and said, “How about a nice movie?”
He blinked before furrowing his eyebrows some. “A...movie?”
You nodded, smiling. “Yeah! I’m sure Mark kept my favorite around here somewhere.”
“How would that make you better though-”
“It’s my favorite movie Yan-if it’s my favorite it’s bound to make me smile and laugh…” He nodded slightly. You could tell he was still hesitant so you added, “Aaaand, if you’re good, I could let you lay down on my lap~”
He blinked and quickly got up. “R-Really???” You nodded and he smiled widely. “O-Ok! Let me go find your favorite!!! I’ll be right back~!”
You giggled some as you watched him zoom upstairs. Although Mark loved you, you knew he didn’t really have a CD of your favorite movie. But he did have the Apple TV which did have it but you guessed Yan didn’t know.
Which you’d use to your advantage.
You got up quickly and went towards the front door. You knew you couldn’t ever out run him on your feet and your car wasn’t up their either so, you’d do the next best thing-make him think you took off.
You looked for a place to hide before quickly opening the door and leaving it cracked some so he could see it open. Then you went and hid in a discrete spot.
You waited for a while before hearing Yan coming down the stairs slowly, saying, “S-Senpai, I-I couldn’t find it, could you help me l-” He paused. “S-Senpai? Senpai a-are you in the kitchen??”
He laughed some. “I-I could’ve made you popcorn silly-” He paused again. “Senpai? Senpai?!” You could hear him begin running around the house quickly, almost demonically so. Things were falling, being moved. “SENPAI? SENPAI WHERE DID YOU GO?! (Y/N)?!??”
Soon you heard him come down and you held your breath as he reached the front and saw the door unlocked. “.................” He slowly closed the door and began moving towards yodsofpudiout-
Let. Them. Go.
He yanked open the door and you could hear the car starting up and driving off quickly.
You slowly peeked from your hiding place to make sure he was really gone before taking off down the street back to your place.
*Time Skip!*
You looked around as you went into your apartment place. You didn’t have to worry too many times about forgetting your key but you did hide a spare right in the-
You felt the key underneath and breathed. “Thank you…” you muttered as you pulled it out. You quickly went to your door and unlocked it.
When you got inside, you locked the door and breathed. When you looked at the counter, you saw your purse was there...and your phone too…
You grabbed your phone and quickly began dialing Mark. You wanted to tell him you were ok and to get the hell home before-
“CLICK-” “Hello there lovely~”
You froze up as you felt something cold press against the back of your head. “Wh-Who-”
“You should end that little call of yours before asking questions~ Otherwise you might just be saying goodbye to Markimoo~”
You gulped as you heard Mark pick up and ask frantically. “(Y-Y/N)?? A-Are you ok? Are you hurt?! Hello?? Say something!”
You felt the gun press more against your head and you whimpered slightly, ending the call and placing it down on the counter again.
You heard him chuckle softly behind you. “Good kitten~ You’ll learn fast enough-” You felt the butt of the gun slam against the top of your head and you knocked out.
You’ve escaped into the hands of another.
I know it isn’t ideal but I promise you this:
You’ll see me again.
After all, the Author can’t keep me away forever...

Series Masterlist Read This Discord Server
A/N: It’s been a hot minute and I do apologize. I’m just now getting into the grove of things again while fighting not just my normal depression and anxiety but now postpartum depression as well. Thank you so much for your patience when it comes to this series or just anything I write, honestly. Oh! And if you’re on Tiktok and come across someone named MakariaBless doing videos of a Goddess named Lucette that’s seems to have the same background history and story plot as Y/N in this, don’t worry. No one stole my idea - that’s me! Lucette is the inspiration of this series and what Y/N’s background and personality is based off of - and someone answered the debating I was having for me and Lucette will have to different storylines on Tiktok - her original and this one. Just an fyi!
Hit my ask box if you want to be added to a tag list for this series!

“Lady Y/N.”
Your nose scrunched up as you watched the servant bow before gesturing you and Dark inside.
“What does Lord Pierre owe to this visit?” The servant asked and you gave a soft smile.
“I’m in need of seeing Damon, actually. Is he here or has he returned to Hades?”
“He is still here. I shall go retrieve him for you.” The servant bowed again and you scrunched your nose once more as you watched him make his way out of the throne room.
“This must be what a throne room should look like,” Dark mused and you glanced towards him, raising an eyebrow.
“I would have thought you’ve seen Lucifer’s if you were the first one Ivy thought about.”
“Funny.”
“Lady Y/N, is there something you need?” Damon’s voice drifted into the room and you turned your eyes on him.
“There might be a traitor among our mists.”
“And you think it’s Damon,” Pierre’s voice deadpanned and you raised an eyebrow at your uncle.
“It was me that convince them to allow Damon with you, Pierre. I do not believe it’s him. I was coming to see if he may know who the traitor is.”
“Sorry, Lady Y/N, but I do not. I wasn’t even aware there was another traitor among them,” Damon spoke and you nodded, glancing at Pierre who raised an eyebrow.
“What?”
“There’s a good chance they know that Damon is on our side now. I would be cautious.”
“You’re talking to a-”
“-War God, I’m aware. You have been in the picture long before you revealed yourself as an uncle, Pierre,” you spoke. “But, must you forget, that he does live in Hades and that he is trying to redeem himself in the eyes of said God and Charon. I will let Isabelle and Charon know for when he returns.”
“Thank you, Lady Y/N,” Damon spoke up before Pierre could and your eyes drifted to him. “They trust your judgement.”
“It’s not that they do not trust my judgement but rather, the fact that I can see just how much good is in a person and their true intentions…most of the time.”
“You say that as if it fails you 35% of the time,” Pierre snorted. “I’ve never met one person that special ability of yours has failed you.”
“Yes, well, emotions can cloud anything when it comes to certain things,” you replied, glancing towards Dark before nodding at the two. “If you discover anything, Damon.”
“Of course.”
~
“Why are we meeting here?” Angel questioned, looking at you with furrowed eyebrows. “You hate coming here.”
“You’ll know when everyone else is here,” you promised as you shifted on your feet.
Focus on-
Dark. I know.
Your eyes glanced towards the entity in question as he leaned against a nearby wall, his arms crossed in annoyance of Anti speaking.
“At this point, sweetheart, it feels like we should just live at yours,” Hades spoke as he appeared alongside Bellatrix and you shook your head at the God. “Are we the last to show?”
“That would be us,” Pierre spoke up and Hades glowered as he glanced over at him and Damon.
“Why are they here?”
“Jean-Paul should be here as well,” Sébastian spoke, appearing beside you, his hands behind his back. “While everyone is still getting used to Pierre being part of the now Cinq, he still needs to be at meetings that require the Quatre Gods.”
“The Quatre Gods?” Anti questioned and you glanced at him. “New to the French Pantheon, remember? Not very well known.”
“The Quatre Gods are simply the French versions of the Greek’s Elder Gods. The Quatre Gods, now Cinq Gods, also known as the Children of Nickolas, are Bellatrix, Jean-Paul, Thana, Eva, and now, Pierre,” Sébastian recalled.
“Why are we giving a history lesson?” Jean-Paul’s voice drifted into the room and Angel snorted.
“Because unlike those who lived through the years, had the history lessons young, and live here, there are still those who don’t know, uncle,” Angel answered, turning her head to look at him.
“Teach the history lesson another time then. I have things to do and this was declared an important emergency,” Jean-Paul waved her off before wincing, turning his head towards his wife.
“Just because I married you, doesn’t mean I won’t stay by Tempête de Feu’s people,” Christina scowled before her eyes drifted over everyone in the room. “Y/N called the meeting, didn’t she?”
“Yes,” Bellatrix answered, nodding her head. “No idea on what though.”
“Pierre and Damon as well as Apollo already knows this but,” your eyes flirted over everyone, taking a deep breath, “there’s reason to believe a traitor among our mists.”
“Impossible,” Jean-Paul exclaimed, shaking his head.
“That witch, you called her Thandi? She clued you in on this when she possessed me, didn’t she?” Ares spoke up and your eyes moved to his, an eyebrow raised. “I was with you for a few years, Y/N, I know how you think, believe it or not.”
“She did,” you answered, nodding your head. “She knew of Apollo being a possible lover. The only ones that even know about the Warriors are the ones in this room, Monstres, Titans, and those we are allied with outside of our realms. The only ones that knew about Apollo are Flinn, Ivy, and-”
“-the ones in this room,” Hades finished and you nodded. “And not even everyone in the room knew.”
“I don’t know how many traitors we have. I don’t know if they’re willing associates or being blackmailed like Pierre and Damon once were. All I know is that if the traitor is among any of our people, it’s mine.”
“Now, you don’t know that for sure, Y/N. We can have Maxence-”
“I’m sorry, auntie, but where else could the traitor be? We’ve only been having meetings at mine and even if we’re not having meetings, I’m talking to Dark, Anti, Sébastian, or Apollo about what’s going on and how to go about things. There’s no where else they could be.”
“She has a point,” Thana pointed out. “Family dinners have even been held there for awhile now. If it’s not hers, where else?”
“We should-”
“Not Maxence.”
You raised an eyebrow at the multiple people jumping to his defense before you lifted your eyes to Dark.
“They’re right. It’s not him. We’re just know getting a traitor, Maxence has been with us prior to me being born.”
“You said it yourself, Goddess. They could be willing or blackmailed.”
“We have protocols,” Bellatrix spoke up, looking over at the entity. “Thought process is good but we have protocols for such a thing.”
“But what if-”
“Impossible,” Jean-Paul butted in and Dark scoffed, pushing himself off the wall.
“Everyone in this room, who is the one person you all are so desperate to protect no matter what? The one person that can be held against you if you were being blackmailed?” He challenged, holding up a finger. “Aside from the two buffoons over there.”
“I am a-”
“-War God. I’m aware but alas, you cannot touch me, Pierre, and you know that.” Dark gave him a dull look before looking around the room.
“He has a point,” Juliette spoke up.
“Time and time again, you’ve prove that you would do anything to protect her. Even Ares, though a complete ass-”
“Dark-”
“Yeah, yeah, I know, Goddess. Even he has proven that, when it comes down to it, he’d protect her. And that is part of Maxence’s job, is it not?”
You let out a sigh as those around you murmured to themselves and your eyes met your mother’s who raised an eyebrow.
“Have something you’d like to say, my dear?”
“No.”
“You know, it’s a pity that you think you can lie to your mother.” Thana sent you a grin. “Out with it.”
“Now isn’t the-”
“No, no. I think I know what this is about,” André spoke up and you turned your eyes to him. “You’re not a damsel.”
“It’s not the-”
“Y/N.”
Your eyes met your aunt’s who raised an eyebrow back at you and you let out a sigh, moving your eyes to meet Dark’s before they dropped to the floor.
“No, I’m not and…and I’m tired of being treated as if I am. I get that I acted like a damsel, a child, for years, to get a childhood I so desperately wanted that wasn’t focused on the abuse I took on for three years, to forget the fact that my mother died in my arms at 8 years old. And I know I’ll have moments of acting like a child because of it and I’ll have moments where I remember and falls into a panic. And I know that I’ll need help in those moments but I’m tired of subjects being tip-toed around, I’m tired of being tip-toed around.
“I’m where I need to be. I’ve overcome what I needed too and I get that it’ll take time but…but I’m tired of all the protection. And I get that it’s certain people’s jobs like I get that Hades feels like he took on this father role with me and that he feels that need to protect me. I get that and I’m not saying I’m ungrateful because I am and I will forever be grateful for what you’ve done for me over the decades when I wasn’t okay but I am now and if I have to have auntie touch me to prove it, I will but I’m okay.”
You took an unsteady breath as you lifted your eyes to meet Dark’s once more before your eyes glanced around the room.
“I’m okay.”
“I wondered how long you would hold that in,” Apollo mused and you turned your eyes towards him.
~
Hearing something thud against the table before a chair was pulled out, you glanced to your left, watching as Dark sat down before your eyes went to the book in front of him.
“How’d you find out if you didn’t read it before I hid it?” You questioned, returning your eyes back to your tablet, scrolling onto the next article.
“Discovered it while looking for you when you were avoiding me,” Dark admitted. “I just happened to turn to the page.”
“Let me know if you have any questions,” you hummed before you pursed your lip in thought. “The Fates.”
“What about them?” Apollo’s voice drifted into the room and you glanced up at him, watching him raise an eyebrow. “You two seem to be getting cozy.”
“Sitting next to each other isn’t “cozy,” Apollo,” you pointed out, setting your tablet down.
“It is for you, sweetheart,” he rebutted and you rolled your eyes. “Anyways, what about the Fates?”
“Maybe not the Fates, possibly the Egyptians…Wait, no, Sumerian,” you spoke and Apollo furrowed his eyebrows.
“No one has heard from the Sumerians for centuries, Y/N. We don’t even know if they still exist. What is this about?”
“Flinn might. Flinn is older than all over us. Him and Aelita. The Source had asked Flinn to keep watch on the Darkness, he should know where they are.”
“Aelita?” Dark questioned and you glanced at him before looking at Apollo who held the similar question in his eyes.
“Aelita? She’s…Never mind that. I’m rumbling. I need to call Ivy.”
“Wait, wait, what is this all about?” Apollo raised an eyebrow, stopping you as you stood from you seat.
You looked between the God and the Entity before blinking at the realization of you not saying anything.
“Angel and I are having difficulties trying to figure out a way to kill Azazel. Any of the Mesopotamians should be able to know of a way. They’ve been around longer than any of us.”
“I forgot Ivy gave you a side mission,” Apollo mused.
“Actually, Lucifer did. He wants him dead. I think Ivy just wants everything about it to disappear.”
“How would you know that?” Apollo raised an eyebrow.
“Because she did, you fool,” Dark muttered and Apollo winced at the reminder.
“Right.”
“Ivy has a lot more to overcome than I did but she’s not on track for it yet. She’ll get there.”

“You’re still up,” you voiced as you walked into the library to see Dark standing over the table, eyes on a book before they lifted to you.
“So are you.”
“Are you surprised?” You raised an eyebrow, making your way towards the table. “You’re reading the book?”
“Yes. It seems unfair that Anti did while I did not.”
Your eyebrows furrowed at the statement, watching him for a moment.
“You said I didn’t hide it fast enough last time. I thought you read it just like Anti had.”
You watched him stop what he was doing and, as he lifted his head to look at you, your eyes catch the ring hanging from his neck. You saw him open his mouth but you didn’t hear anything as you seemed to be on autopilot as you stepped closer, reaching out to grasp the necklace.
His hand clasped around yours as he stood straight and your eyes lifted to meet his.
“You kept it.”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“Figure it out yourself, Goddess.”
You opened your mouth to speak before the two of you were dropping your hands while the library door slammed open and you turned to look at a flustered guard.
“I apologize, milady, but there seems to be some assistance needed in the Main Hall.”
“Assistance how?”
“Ares, ma’am. He seems to be out of control. Lord Maxence states he is not himself. He said that you would know what that means.”
You stared at him for a moment before glancing at Dark who was quick to follow you out.
“Goddess.”
“Hypatia must have opened up his mind when she had him under her spell. The Darkness has a witch, a djinn, two demons, and two vampires. Each of those creatures have the ability to take over someone’s mind without being near. He may have to borrow one of the rings until Hekate and I can make him a necklace.”
A hand grasped your arm just before you had walked into the Main Hall and your eyes turned towards Dark.
“Can you even handle fighting against him, Goddess? Last time-”
“-was different. I had trained so much, Dark, that I can give any War God a run for their money,” you spoke. “I know what I’m doing.”
Be careful, Sébastian warned as Dark nodded, dropping his hand from your arm. Make sure-
“Stay out of his line of sight, Dark,” you spoke and the entity scoffed as the two of you entered the room.
“Don’t tell-”
“He has a needle!” Maxence shouted as Ares suddenly lunged at you and you threw your hand up, watching vines wrapped around him.
“Vines won’t hold him forever.”
It was Ares’ voice but it wasn’t him speaking and you found yourself gritting your teeth – witch.
“Thandi, release him.”
“No, I don’t think I will.”
You winced as he managed to tear himself free from the vines before dodging with barely little time.
What’s in the needle? Sébastian voiced as you summoned your staff, catching his wrist with your other hand.
“It’s William’s blood, isn’t it?” You voiced. “He left his wife blood.”
“Smart girl,” the witch mused with Ares’ voice.
We need to get the needle away from him but the question is how are we-
“Anti,” you found yourself murmuring and you felt Sébastian’s confusion.
He can glitch right next to us as I hold his wrist and take it with force, you explained mentally, barely moving out of the way of said needle. Can you-
On it.
“Maybe we should try injecting it-”
“You will stay away from him,” you grunted out, slamming the butt of your staff into his stomach. Sorry, Ares. “You will not inject it into any of them,” you added, realizing that they could have been talking about any of the three.
“For all you know, we already did with Apollo.”
Your eyes shot to his face as realization struck.
They knew about Apollo.
Did someone betray your trust?
Or have they been watching a lot longer than anyone thought?
Someone needed to check on Apollo.
“Maxence,” you grunted, your eyes moving across the room as Anti stood beside Dark.
“I rather not leave at the moment, milady,” Maxence called out. “You could need my help.”
“And Apollo could die if he has been injected with the blood. That’s an order!” You winced as soon as the statement left your lips but you knew you could apologize later.
Your hand grasped his wrist as Maxence’s presence disappeared and your staff hit the ground as you gripped Ares’ other wrist as Anti forcefully pulled the needle from his hand.
“Break it,” you grunted out before gasping as you found your back pressed against Ares’ chest, a blade to your neck.
“That wouldn’t be wise, Anti,” the witch warned.
“Break it.”
“Doll-”
“Break it.” You two stared at each other for a moment before your lips began to move in a quiet chant, your eyes closing shut as you heard the glass break.
“You little-”
You found yourself tensing as a scream left Ares’ lips and he stumbled backwards, releasing you and you turned towards him.
“Don’t forget, witch, I am a Goddess of Witchcraft.”
You watched as Ares blinked before looking up at you from where he kneeled and scrunched his nose.
“What the Hades happened?”
Go ahead, Sébastian spoke and you removed the necklace from around your neck and held it out to him.
“You need to wear this until Hekate and I can make that necklace.”
“Yeah, right, princess,” Ares snorted. “Like Sébastian would allow that.”
“And even if he didn’t, I would order it. Your mind is wide open from them to enter and gain control. I rather not have to fight you again.” You winced at the groan that left him as he stood. “I apologize for that.”
Your eyes glanced towards Dark who continued to stand off to the side, watching.
“What happened?” Ares questioned, his eyes glancing towards the blood on the ground, surrounding the broken glass. “Is that-”
“Yes. Thandi, the witch that was controlling you, tried to inject that in me,” you answered as he took the necklace with a slight grimace.
“Better me feeling pain than me suddenly coming aware to you in pain,” he commented and you raised an eyebrow.
“You would have come aware to Maxence standing over you. Dark and Sébastian would have taken me to Hades as soon as it happened.”
“Right.”
“Sébastian, can you send Maxence my way when he returns?”
“Library?”
“Training room.”
~
“Meditating?” Dark’s voice drifted into the training room and you opened your eyes to look at him.
“Yes. Need something, Dark?”
Silence followed your question and you met his eyes, watching as something flashed within them.
“I’m fine,” you promised and he rolled his eyes. “I’m…giving you a choice, Dark,” you started and he raised an eyebrow at him. “After this is over, you can stay or leave. If you choose to leave, I will make it well known that you are not important to me. If you choose to stay, there are…commitments.”
“Commitments,” Dark echoed, raising an eyebrow.
“I am a Warrior of the Source before I am a Goddess. Lovers of the Warriors bare the Mark of their chosen Warrior on their shoulder blade. You can read all about it in the book,” you answered as you stood. “And there are things with me that you might find…annoying.”
“I am aware of what I’m getting myself into when it comes to you, Goddess,” he assured and you raised an eyebrow at him.
“That doesn’t mean I want you to change.”
“I’m aware.”
There was a start of a smirk on his lips as he looked at him before his eyes shifted towards the opening of the training room where Apollo stood with Maxence.
“You wished to see me, milady?” Maxence questioned as he bowed and you scrunched your nose.
“About earlier-”
“I had a feeling that was what this was about,” he mused as he stood straight. “I’m very well aware that you would not have ordered me if it were a normal situation, Lady Y/N. You do not need to apologize to me.”
“Yes, and you should trust me more, sweetheart,” Apollo tsked as he leaned against the doorframe and you rolled your eyes. “I have been staying away from everyone that isn’t a God or within your little bubble of friends.”
“Little bubble of friends?”
“Do I need to explain? Also, I see you and Dark have finally come to the realization-”
Apollo scrunched his nose as he raised an eyebrow at you before a loud exclaim left your lips as you pulled your hand away from his mouth.
“Gross,” you scrunched your nose, wiping your hand on his shirt. “Angel would have your head.”
“And you have…not going to finish that sentence. Lover boy is already glaring,” Apollo snorted. “Wonder how well he’s going to take to Antoine.”
“You’re giving me a headache…and do not add your snide comment,” you spoke, pointing at him and he raised his hands in surrender, a grin on his lips. “I’m going to seek Damon. We may have a traitor among our mists and he may know about it. Sébastian.”
“Shall I warn the others?” The Monstre appeared beside you and you nodded. “I’ll start with Bellatrix then.”
“Goddess.”
Your eyes glanced back at the dark entity, watching something flash within his eyes again and a hum left your lips.
“You coming or not, Dark?”

Family (Warrior of the Crown 8)
Pairing: Darkiplier x French Goddess!Reader
Words: 1,859
Warnings: Mentions of past suicidal thoughts
Series Masterlist
A/N: It’s been a h o t m i n u t e and I apologize for that. Go ahead and let me know if you want to be put on a tag list because I am willing to do that. Don’t know when I’ll be back on track. Also, if you haven’t already, please take the time to read this. That is an update I did not that long ago (I think Sunday?). Thank you for your patience!
Tumblr media
She wants to take away your lovers, Y/N. She plans on putting you at risk of turning to the darkness, continued to cycle through your head even after the meeting with Flinn and it has caused you to constantly space out to the point that someone who was in the room with you could scare you.
It was so bad that Dark demanded Sébastian to go fetch Hades or someone. Dark, the entity that hated other Gods being around. That how you found yourself surrounded by family and you blinked when you watch something fly across the table at Jean-Louis.
“You are such a pain,” Angel groaned as she leaned back in her seat. “You like André. I don’t see why you complain about him so much.”
“I do not like André,” Jean-Louis deadpanned. “That’s like saying I like Dark,” he added and you perked up a bit at the mention of him.
“I think you secretly like Dark,” Juliette commented from her seat beside her twin. “I mean, I think we all do. He’s helped Y/N more than anyone likes to admit, including the two of them.”
“However, he needs to learn to deal with Y/N like this,” Angel gestured towards you and you looked at her. “How are you doing?”
“Hypatia wants to take my possible lovers away,” you hesitated, shifting in your seat as your cousins’ eyes fell on you, “and she wants to put me more at risk of turning to the darkness.”
“We already have a plan in motion so don’t worry, alright?” Angel reached over, squeezing your hand. “Trust me.”
“What plan?” Jean-Louis questioned, furrowing his eyebrows as you looked at him, raising an eyebrow. “Do you know this plan?”
You thought about it for a moment before shaking your head. Angel hadn’t come to you about anything expect on how to kill Azazel.
“The plan would be pointless if everyone knows,” Angel started and Juliette nodded, causing you and Jean-Louis to look at her, “The ones part of it knows.”
“Juliette?”
“Is one of them, yes,” she nodded and Jean-Louis scrunched his nose in annoyance.
“I don’t like that. Who else?” He questioned.
“Auntie, Hades, Dark, André, Apollo, and Sébastian.”
“Dark knows?” You questioned, looking at her as she nodded. “Why does Dark know?”
“You’ll see.”
“I don’t like that.”
“She questions why Dark but not Apollo or Sébastian,” Juliette snorted and you scrunched your nose. “So, since he’s not around, we can talk about it now.”
“I rather not.” You shifted in your spot and she raised an eyebrow.
“Y/N, we are here because Dark fetched us after you learned what Hypatia wants,” she pointed out.
“That doesn’t mean that anything.”
“Y/N,” Jean-Louis started, placing his hand in front of you. “I’m the God of Hate and I can tell that you’re in love with the entity.”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Y/N-”
“Can we stop?”
“The Inuit’s does have information on Seraphina,” Sébasitan’s voice drifted into the library and you turned your head towards him, watching as he held up a file.
“Thank you.” You stood, walking towards him as you took it from him.
“You seem better,” he commented and Angel snorted as she leaned back in her seat.
“Apparently, just tease her about Dark and she seems to sober up,” Jean-Louis offered and you tensed before turning to stare at your cousin who sent you a grin.
“Why is there someone demanding to speak to you in your throne room?” Ares’ voice drifted into the library and you scrunched your nose before shaking your head at your sister’s annoyance. “Didn’t think you could cause someone to be angry with you, princess.”
“I believe I told you to stop calling me that,” you shot, pushing passed him, fighting back a glower as footsteps followed you.
“Y/N! Thank Goddess.”
Lifting your eyes to the voice, your heart dropped at the sight of blood dripping from her mouth.
“What happened?” You questioned, asking a servant for a chair as you approached her.
“Tried calling for mother but didn’t work out well. Where is she, by the way?” She questioned as your eyes lifted towards your sister who stepped into the throne room.
“Estella? How the-Don’t answer that.” Angel shook her head before shifting on her feet for a moment. “Should I get Auntie Eva?”
“Please,” Estella winced as you touched her face. “Any blood by chance?”
“Sébastian.”
“On it.”
“You seem to be doing well,” Estella mused and you raised an eyebrow at her, tilting her head back. “She knew who my mother was.”
“The one who attacked you?”
“Yes. She called her by Eva and not Dea. No one on Salizar’s side of the world follows Dea or the French Gods and Maverick doesn’t know who would know her true name outside of those who already do,” she voiced. “She also said something about you and someone called Dark? Who the Hell calls someone Dark?”
“Language,” your aunt’s voice drifted into the room and Estella rolled her eyes.
“Sébastian should be back with blood soon,” you told Eva, watching as she stepped forward. “What did she look like?”
“Tan skin with what I thought were tribal tattoos, vibrate blue eyes like Beckett’s was. Thought she was a psychic at first but then her markings glowed. She could possibly be a djinn. I did catch sight of her forearm for a quick moment and I could have sworn she had a similar mark to yours, Y/N, but with-”
“-Stars.”
Turning your head, your eyes met Dark’s before returning back to Estella who scrunched her nose.
“Why the Hell do you look like that dude Laci and Beckett watched?” She questioned and you raised an eyebrow. “They were mortals. They’ll do mortal things,” she waved you off before thanking Sébastian as he held out a mug to her. “Anyways, how does she know?”
“It’s best to be cautious from this on out, Estella,” you spoke, rubbing your forehead. “She’s part of the Warriors of Darkness and we’re currently having issues with them. I wasn’t aware that they knew how large this family goes. Maxence, can you call father and have him warn his other children? Gods’ know we don’t need more reason for them to hate us.”
~
“How large would you say your family is, doll?” Anti questioned and you lifted your eyes to him for a moment before dropping them back to your book. “I hope that what we found out-”
“It doesn’t,” you cut him off. “And the main reason why my family is so large is because of my father from before my mother and after my mother’s death. He was careless when he slept around so I have a lot of half-siblings and a majority of them don’t like Angel and me. That and my uncle, Jean-Paul, slept around before his wife as well so I probably have cousins that I’m unaware of.”
“What about the other uncle of yours?”
“Uncle Philippe? Many would avoid him. He’s the God of Sexual Longing. His wife, Marie, was the first to actually want to be with him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’ll have a kid here soon.”
“Seriously?” Anti voiced and you raised an eyebrow at him before turning your head to see Dark’s narrowed eyes. You took a moment to watch him before returning your eyes on the book. “You have nothing to say?”
“Should I?” You questioned, glancing up at the glitching entity with a raised eyebrow. “If the narrowing is about the Mark, it’s idiotic.”
“You two just need to talk. Jesus Christ.”
“It’s not a good idea to use his name. He likes to listen in whenever it’s said,” you chimed and Anti stared at you.
“Unbelievable,” he muttered, crossing his arms over his chest. “Just unbelievable.”
You let out a hum before returning your eyes to the book, flipping through the pages.
“Did those Gods have information on her?” Dark questioned and you pointed towards the file on the desk. “Have you read it?”
“The moment Estella was gone,” you answered, watching from the corner of your eyes as he walked up to the table, opening the file. “It’s interesting to say the least.”
“She didn’t participate in what the others of her kind did and she turned to the Darkness?” He questioned. “That doesn’t make any sense.”
“Well, actually, according to the book about the Warriors, the Warriors that get chosen are vastly different than a lot of their kind,” Anti offered and you lifted your head to stare at him. “Didn’t hide the book fast enough from me, remember?”
“Right. Didn’t think you read the whole thing,” you commented and Anti sent you a grin.
“Quick reader.”
“Apparently.”
“I need to read the book,” you heard Dark mutter before looking over at him with a tilt of your head.
“He’s not wrong,” you spoke, setting the book down as you made your way over to Dark. “Warriors are either vastly different than their kind or extremely rare. They’re background would be the reason why they are vastly different.”
“You said extremely rare?” Anti questioned and you lifted your eyes to him as you nodded.
“Yes. Isabelle’s kind is extremely rare. Only four have every been know to carry her blood, including her.”
“Four?”
“Her, her brother, her mother, and her father,” you answered, reaching forward to continue through the file.
“So rare it’s kept in the family,” Anti muttered and you nodded. “How are you and your family different from your kind?”
“If you have to question, you haven’t been around them long enough,” Dark shot and you raised an eyebrow at him. “Y/N-”
“-was the Goddess of Life wanting death,” you voiced and the two entities turned to face you. “No matter what my family tells you, I wasn’t going to amount to anything with how I was before the Great War. Treated everyone equally but I couldn’t shake their hands. Trained hard for years but someone raises a hand to fix my hair and I still flinched. Nightmares every night, flashbacks nearly every day. If it wasn’t for the fact that I would have caused the balance to shift and nearly destroy everything, I wouldn’t be here today.”
“And yet, you still see the Goddess you used to be,” Sébastian voiced from behind you and Dark and you turned your head to look at him. “I’ve finished warning the rest of your family.”
“No doubt they had a few choice words about Angel and I.”
“Quite of few, though there were some who made comments of a visit after everything. Maybe some are coming around after all.”
“Probably the same few who don’t mind us,” you hummed, reaching forward to grab your book. “I think I’m going to see about something to eat and ambrosia.”
“You need sleep, Y/N.”
“Yes, well, there are more important things at stake, Sébastian.”
From the corner of your eyes as you made your way to the door, you watched as Sébastian raised his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose with his eyes close before he seemed to have given Dark a pointed look.

Stop Being a Jerk (Warrior of the Crown 4)

Your head shot up at the book that slammed against the table and your eyes met Apollo’s, his eyebrow raised while a grin played on his lips.
“When do you not realize I’m here?” He questioned as he took a seat across from you and you rolled your eyes as he reached over to grab your tablet. “What are you reading, anyways?”
“Millie sent me an update on those who were affected by the attack,” you answered, watching as he scanned the report with a hum.
“Figure out who attacked?”
“I have a feeling,” you answered, twirling your fingers to bring the Warriors of Darkness book towards you. “Prior to the pages written about each of them, there’s a page that tells you who the members are. Names, creature, and what they’re mark is.”
Apollo stood, walking over to look at the book over your shoulder.
“Hypatia, succubus, and Warrior of Ahriman,” Apollo read and you nodded your head. “You think she did it?”
“She’s also the one I seen, remember?”
“I know this goes against you wanting to learn more about them, however,” Apollo carefully leaned over you, flipping through the pages of the book before stopping at their abilities, “we need to know, don’t you think?” He turned his head to raise an eyebrow at you and you rolled your eyes as the door to the library opened.
You both lifted your eyes to the door and you found Dark standing there with gritted teeth before he turned and walked out.
“Looks like he wanted to talk to you, sweetheart,” Apollo commented as he stood. “And that was the worst position he could have seen us in.”
“What are you going on about?”
“Well, sweetheart, you’d have to see for yourself.”
You stared at Apollo as he made his way back to his seat and he sent you a smirk as he sat, leaning back against it.
“Are you truly that dense, darling?”
“Don’t you have a sun to rise?”
“Ouch. You need sleep.”
“André had that same conclusion,” Anti spoke from behind Apollo and you lifted your eyes to his. “Dark was coming to speak to you. Did he not?”
“He caught sight of a scene he didn’t like,” Apollo answered and you rolled your eyes, standing from your spot.
“He couldn’t care less. He hates dealing with multiple Gods,” you answered, walking towards your desk.
“What scene?” Anti questioned.
“One that made it seem like I was going to kiss Y/N,” Apollo stated, looking over his shoulder at the glitching entity.
“Yikes. You going to speak to him, doll?”
You turned to stare at the two of them before you pinched the bridge of your nose with a sigh.
“I’m going to see Angel, help her with finding a way to kill Azazel.”
“Now, look who’s run-”
Apollo snorted as you disappeared from your spot before he turned his head to look at Anti.
“I’m not reading into Dark and her wrong, am I?”
“Fuck no. You should see what Dark hides around his neck. Surprised doll hadn’t caught onto it yet.”
Apollo raised an eyebrow at that before realization hit him as he remembered your annoyance after everything last time.
“You’re kidding.”
“I’m not.”
“Damn.”
~*~
“Why can’t I hate him?” You demanded as you found yourself in the familiar training room of the Sins.
“Hello to you too, Y/N,” André spoke, amused. “Angel’s currently with said man in the other room.”
“My love!”
You tensed for a moment as arms wrapped around you before a sigh left your lips as you turned your head.
“Hello, Antoine.”
The Sin of Lust grinned at you before pressing a kiss to your check as he pulled away.
“Why is he here?”
André shrugged at the question, sending Antoine back into training.
“Beats me.”
“How come you can stop training and talk to my love,” Antoine whined from his spot beside Clément who slapped him on the back of the head. “Hey! My love is here, you know better!”
“Knock it off, Antoine!” Angel warned as she walked out with Dark in tow. “I swear, he is a child.”
“Children do tend to claim people older as their boyfriend or girlfriend,” André offered and you snorted at that.
“Expect Antoine is around your age, making him older,” you pointed out, “but he’s always been like that, even before becoming the Sin of Lust.”
“Come on, let’s spare.” Angel nodded towards the ring and you scrunched your nose as you looked towards it.
“I came to help to figure out how to-”
“Oh, please, my love?” Antoine begged and you winced.
“I’m not even in the right-”
“I have something!”
“Antoine, Y/N is not going to wear something left by your flings!” André called out as you turned to stare at Angel who was holding back laughter.
“Please tell me I still have a locker here because if what I think he’s getting is what he’s getting, I may go into a panic.”
“No, you won’t,” Angel snorted and you shot her a glare. “Come on, I got something. Staying, Dark?” She questioned, looking over at him. “I would also be careful about your emotion. Seems like your feeding some of my Sins.”
“I’m not getting out of this, am I?” You turned towards André who snorted, shaking his head.
“She’s determined to spare with you. She misses doing so, even if she doesn’t admit it.”
“You ever gonna train with us again, girly?” Sylvie questioned as you caught whatever Angel tossed at you.
“I got my hands full with Noir. Lot more challenging than I realized,” you answered, making your way to the locker room.
As you entered the locker room, a sigh left your lips and you looked towards the mirror. Shaking your head, you noticed a locker left open and a small chuckle past your lips.
Changing, you placed your clothes in the open locker before heading out, looking over to see Angel leaning against the ropes of the ring as she spoke to André.
“This is where you trained I’m guessing,” Dark spoke and you turned your head to look at him
“Something like that,” you answered, tensing when Antoine wrapped his arms around you. “Antoine,” you sighed.
“Yes, my love?”
“Please, release me.”
“Sorry, my love,” the Sin murmured as he backed up, giving you a soft smile before making his way to the other Sins.
“Do you just make everyone fall for you?” Dark scoffed and you sent him a glare.
“Antoine is the Sin of Lust. While you may not see him act like that with the others, that is his personality. He means no harm and claims I’m the one who holds his heart because I want nothing from him. He also knows that nothing will happen between the two of us. And if you’re also referring to Apollo, we are just friends. Apollo is still hooked on his late boyfriend and I’m in no mood for a relationship with Ares’ brother. Will you just stop-”
You cut yourself off, watching as he raised an eyebrow with a smirk on his lips.
“Stop what? Come on, Goddess, say it. Being a dick? Prick? Asshole?”
You gritted your teeth as you started at him.
“Stop being a jerk,” you spoke, watching as the smirk left his lips. “Just because you heard me curse once, doesn’t mean you’ll hear me say it again,” you added quietly as your sister called your name.
You spared Dark one more glance before making it towards the ring, taking the offering hand of Angel.

Words: 1,925

A/N: Welcome back to the Warrior! Not quite sure how I feel with what I did for the photos and obviously credited to whoever created the images within the collage but I had ended up using the majority of the gifs I liked with Darkiplier that there isn’t many left for the series. Anyways, welcome to the first installment of Warrior of the Crown! Enjoy!

“Why are you going through your books again?” You questioned as you leaned your chin against the palm of your hands, your eyes on Apollo as he reached for some books.
“Because, unlike you, I don’t read everything I own,” he answered, setting the books beside you and you rolled your eyes before sitting up and grabbing them. “I’m surprise you don’t have all of these.”
“Greek novels,” you pointed out, looking over at him as he snorted, shaking his head.
Apollo and you had become friends after the battle against William a couple months back. Apollo knew of being a possible lover and your aunt had informed you that the one that carried the crown had five possible lovers, not three. Apollo had been understanding about not wanting to try a relationship between the two of you but had at least wanted a friendship. You two were both getting over people.
You remembered when you discovered Apollo in his garden – his heart on his sleeve. You hadn’t meant to interrupt and you hadn’t known what day it was but he didn’t mind. He knew why you suddenly have moments where everything you felt was on the table, broken and scattered. He had no issue telling you his.
It was interesting how alike but different your heart breaks had been. He had lost the love of his life to a jealous God and, while you didn’t consider him the love of your life, you had lost someone you wanted close because of yourself.
“I forgot,” he commented and you shook your head with a slight chuckle as he helped put the books you were taking into boxes. “Two full boxes. Shall I help you?”
“If you don’t mind,” you shrugged as you picked up a box, watching as he did the same before the two of you teleporting to your throne room – the only place one that wasn’t from there could teleport too.
“You act like doing this is such a chore for me. Making the sun rise when it’s my turn to do so is a chore, helping you is a privilege, sweetheart,” Apollo grinned and you snorted, shaking your head at the God.
Much like his father (and his brother), Apollo was naturally a flirt and had the countless lovers to prove it. Luckily, it meant nothing between the two of you.
You turned your head from him when you felt eyes on you and blinked at the dark entity that stood by what would be considered your throne.
“Dark?”
You felt Apollo’s worried eyes as they shot to you but your eyes stayed on the entity’s before you, noticing the scowl deepen as Dark’s eyes turned to glare at the God beside you.
“I’m not here willing, Goddess. I was sent here by some idiotic angel,” Dark spoke and you furrowed your eyebrows.
“I don’t know any angel expect the ones associated with the Hellhounds and they don’t like you.”
“Ivy’s angel.”
You stared at him for a moment before turning to Apollo who tilted his head to the side before nodding his head to the box he carried.
“Add it on. I’ll place them in the library and forewarn everyone that you went out to see Ivy.”
“I owe you one,” you promised, setting the box on his and he snorted at that as he made his way towards the hall.
“Buy the next dinner,” he added before disappearing down the hall and you turned towards Dark who scowled at the retreating God.
“Think of the location you were last at,” you spoke as you advanced towards him and Dark turned back towards you, a slight nod to his head before you placed a hand on his shoulder, teleporting the two of you.
“Oh, thank everything unholy,” the fallen angel sighed at the sight of you and you tilted your head at him before following his gestured towards the Sin staring out a window. “She caught a glimpse of him.”
“Saw who?” Dark questioned and you glanced at him for a moment before walking up to the Sin, standing beside her.
“How are you feeling?” You asked gently and you watched as she gave you a dull look. “May I offer you some advice?” You didn’t wait for her to answer as you glanced at the angel behind the two of you, worry in his eyes. “When going against him or seeing him, focus on something else, maybe something like Ryan.”
Ivy snorted at that, her eyes glancing towards you and you gave her a grin.
“It works, I promise. I had to the last time around with William.”
“And he’s dead, isn’t he?”
“Should be,” you answered with a nod before tilting your head at her scowl. “What is it, Ivy?”
“What have you been doing recently, Dark?” Ivy turned to face the entity and you furrowed your eyebrows as Ryan snorted.
“And she’s back.”
“Just needed a moment,” you murmured before glancing at Dark, watching as he rolled his eyes at the Sin.
“Nothing that concerns you.”
“Someone broke into a place that isn’t a place anyone should be able too,” Ivy spoke, stepping forward and, out of instinct, your hand shot out, grasping her bicep. Her eyes turned towards you and you shook your head.
“Dark, have you been anywhere near Lucifer’s palace?” You spoke, turning your head to look at him, your eyes noticing as he gritted his teeth for a moment as he met your eyes.
“No, I have not. It would be a pointless attempt,” Dark answered and you nodded, turning your eyes back onto Ivy.
“Now, you said that someone got into a place where they shouldn’t be able too?”
“Yes and no one understands how. This idiot was the first to come to my mind,” Ivy spoke, pinching the bridge of her nose. “And you say William is dead so, now, I have no idea who could even be able too.”
You turned your eyes towards the window in thought and your eyes met violet. Your eyebrows furrowed before you found yourself tensing as the woman with the violet eyes smirked, her hand rising to give you a wave and your eyes landed on her forearm where a familiar mark stood out to you.
Y/N, is that who I think it is? Sébastian’s voice rang through your mind as you continued to stare down the woman. Y/N?
Feeling a hand placed on your shoulder, your eyes shot to the green ones of Ivy, concern flashing through them before they looked where you were looking.
“Who is that, Y/N?” She questioned as you glanced over your shoulder at Dark who held the same emotions as he usually did.
“I hope I’m wrong about who it is but if you can see her too, it’s not my imagination,” you spoke, turning back towards your friend who meet your gaze. “But I’m sure she’s the one that broke in.”
“Who is she?”
“Hypatia,” you answered, turning back to the window, thankful she was no longer seen. “The leader of the Warriors of the Dark.”
“I thought they were dead.” Ivy glanced towards her fallen angel who shrugged before her eyes returned to you. “What does this mean, Y/N?”
“Something big and deadly is going to happen,” you answered, turning back towards them, your eyes meeting Dark’s once again. “Forewarn Lucifer. I don’t know if we’ll need help or even there will be a battle but if she’s making herself known, then it’s only a matter of time before I’ll be faced with the rest of them.”
“Say the word and we’ll be there, you know that. I get to figure out who to send the jackass angel back into the dungeon,” Ivy spoke as you scrunched your nose before looking at her.
“If caught, I can speak to Auntie about a place in Feu d’enfer.”
“Not necessary.” She waved you off, giving you a slight smile. “I can have him placed in Flinn’s dungeon if needed.”
“Right. I shall take my leave then. I’m just a call away if needed again but, if you take my advice, it won’t be needed.”
“You speak from experience,” she concluded and you gave her a small smile.
“Yes, it’s how I finally gotten over my past and gotten the correct mark. I’ll see you around, Ivy,” you spoke, giving her a nod before giving one to Ryan and Dark. “Ryan, Dark.”
“Y/N-”
You didn’t wait to hear more from the dark entity as you teleported back to your throne room, exhaustion falling over you.
I’ll go tell Bellatrix and ask for her to spread word, Sébastian spoke and you murmured your thanks before he disappeared from your mind.
“My lady?”
Your eyes lifted to Maxence who held a frown on his lips with his head tilted to the side, studying you for a moment before his head bowed.
“Your books are put away and Apollo is still here as well. He mentioned Dark coming by so he offered to stay in case he was needed,” he spoke, lifting his head.
“Thank you, Maxence. I need you to inform guards about an issue that is going to arise soon.”
~
Dark scowled at the spot the Goddess once stood before meeting the eyes of the Sin of Envy who raised an eyebrow.
“And here I thought Rafael was joking when he mentioned you become close to Y/N,” she spoke.
“We did not get close,” he growled out and Ivy snorted at that as she turned to Ryan with a raised eyebrow.
“Was he not looking at her longingly? Or am I still dense when it comes to emotions?” Ivy questioned.
“You’re still dense to emotions but you’re not wrong,” Ryan answered and she scowled at him for a moment before turning back to the dark entity who was growling under his breath.
“I was going to offer to teleport you but since you’re being such a dick, I don’t think I will,” Ivy mused and Dark sent her a glare, causing her to smirk as she turned to Ryan. “Ready to go?”
“Y-”
“Wait,” Dark cut him off and Ryan raised an eyebrow as Ivy’s smirk widened. “What do you know that I don’t?”
“I know a lot, Dark. I am one of her few friends,” Ivy answered, glancing over at him. “And I could sense your jealousy the moment you two returned. You met Apollo, didn’t you?”
Dark gritted his teeth as Ivy smirked again, glancing at Ryan before turning towards the entity who glared at her.
“I shouldn’t cause more issues for the poor girl but you’re both idiotic, it seems so have fun.” Ivy lifted her hand, snapping, and Dark found himself in Y/N’s throne room once more. His eyes glanced around before they met Maxence as he entered the throne room.
A sigh left Maxence’s lips as he caught sight of the entity before he turned to look at Sébastian who joined them and the Monstre frowned for a moment.
“Show him a room and get another ready. No doubt that once Anti catches wind that Dark’s here that he’ll be joining us as well,” Sébastian spoke.
“Is that a good idea, Sébastian?”
Sébastian turned towards Maxence with a raised eyebrow, watching as he sighed once more before nodding, heading towards the hall.
“And, Dark?” Sébastian spoke up and Dark looked over his shoulder at him, a scowl on Dark’s lips as he did so. “Maybe speak up this time instead of just letting things happen.”

“My love, this is going to be fun!” Antoine exclaimed as you appeared in the training room, Dark and Anti behind you.
“I thought you weren’t seeing anyone, doll?” Anti questioned and you glanced at him before tensing as arms wrapped around you. “Ah, not wanted attention.”
“Of course, it’s wanted!” Antoine scowled as you looked at the Sin. “So-Ow, ow, ow, ow! Béatrice!”
“Angel and André both told me to keep an eye on you. Y/N is going to be doing training that is uncomfortable for her, Antoine,” Béatrice warned and Antoine pouted for a moment before looking at you.
“Is that why Angel asked for my help?”
“Yes,” André spoke up as he walked up to them. “But we’ll be taking it slowly. Teach her the movement and ability before having her try the ability.”
“But that’s not-”
“No, but she passed out last time she used her ability more than once,” Angel spoke, coming to stand beside André. “Dad and Uncle Philippe will be coming by to help too.”
“Do we want Luc?”
“Wouldn’t that mean Ivy would be here as well?” Angel raised an eyebrow and you shrugged.
“Probably Rath too.”
“Yeah, let’s not. We don’t need two hotheads in a room or our envious ones being fed,” she answered and you raised an eyebrow at her. “It’s true. Isn’t it, Béatrice?” She turned towards the Sin in question who lifted her head from her nails.
“Mhm? Oh, yeah, jealousy is in the air alright.”
I wonder who from, Sébastian spoke sarcastically and you scrunched your nose as you rolled your eyes.
“Can we just get started?”
~
“Merveille fille?” André questioned softly as you focused on your breathing.
Feeling someone kneel in front of you, you opened your eyes to find familiar gray eyes looking back at you – André.
“You did good,” he spoke softly as you took his offering hand. “We’ll get you to the point you won’t fear it.”
“Doubt it,” you murmured as you shifted on your feet, glancing towards Dark before resting your head on André’s shoulder. “Library.”
“You need to sleep,” Angel declared and you glanced over at her. “When was the last time you did so?”
You shifted on your feet as you lifted your head off André before shrugging your shoulders.
“A few weeks, maybe?”
“A few weeks or a few months?” she deadpanned and you lifted your eyes to the ceiling. “Y/N! We may not require sleep like mortals but we still need sleep! Are you still having nightmares?”
Shifting on your feet some more, you brought your head down to meet the bright eyes of your sister, watching concern shift through them as she waited your response.
“Yes and no?” You offered and she raised an eyebrow, watching as you ruffled your hair before your eyes glanced towards Dark who was speaking to Anti.
Angel stared at you for a moment before realization passed her eyes and she frowned, placing her hands on her hips.
“What did you always tell me?”
“About what?”
“André.”
You stared at her before gesturing towards the Sin.
“I was keeping both of your secrets about liking each other! I don’t know what you remember me saying but I remember telling you that you wouldn’t know how he felt unless you talk…” You trailed off as Angel gave you a pointed look as your father chuckled beside her. “I’m too tired for this,” you sighed, your head falling back on André’s shoulder. “Can one of you take them back? I can probably take myself.”
“I’ll talk you three back. Don’t need you passing out as soon as you get there,” Sébastian stated as he suddenly stood beside you and you lifted your head at him. “And you’ll be going to bed when we get there.”
“Hope for the best,” you murmured as you took the Monstre’s offered hand. “Can you still just-”
Snap.
“-okay, that was too fast,” you muttered as you find yourself stumbling against Sébastian. “I…I think I can make it to the bedroom. Ambrosia?”
“I’ll get you a glass. Anti, Dark, make sure she gets to her room,” Sébastian spoke, glancing back at them as he made sure you were standing correctly.
“Sébastian, I’m fine.”
Sébastian simply raised an eyebrow at you before raising his eyes towards the entities, giving them a nod as you sighed, making your way slowly down the hall.
~
Opening your eyes, you stared up at your ceiling and sighed. You sat up, stretching your back as you looked around your bedroom.
You’re still needing sleep, Y/N. You only got a couple hours and it wasn’t enough, Sébastian spoke gently and you sighed softly before getting out of bed. Y/N.
I can’t, Sébastian, you replied, shuffling out into the hall. A yawn escaped your lips as you made your way to the library where you came to a stop outside the doors.
Lights shined through the crack and hushed voices could be heard on the other side – Anti and Dark are speaking to each other in your library.
Pushing the door open, your eyes lifted to meet Anti’s before they drifted over to Dark as they turned to look at you.
No studying, Sébastian warned as you made your way over to a bookshelf, your eyes glancing over the spines of books.
“Can’t sleep, doll?” Anti questioned as he made his way to stand next to you and you glanced at him before grabbing a book.
“I did, just not enough,” you answered, turning to walk towards the table.
“It’s kind of a pity that the two of you didn’t work out.”
The book fell onto the table with a thud as your eyes shot to the woman that stood beside the Greek God known as your ex.
“Hypatia,” the name left your lips before your eyes shifted towards Ares and you found yourself tensing at the dull look in his eyes. “He has nothing to do with this.” Your eyes shot back to the succubus who grinned wickedly at you and you watched her eyes shifted to Dark.
Y/N, you don’t have enough strength to fight her, Sébastian stated as your hand clenched beside you.
“I don’t see the appeal.”
You found yourself itching to throw a hand out to do something as you watched her eyes flirt across Dark before returning her eyes to yours with a smirk on her lips.
“Ares,” Hypatia started, lifting her hand, “attack.”
Watching her point at you, you found yourself in disbelief as you stared at Ares. You two may have not worked out but he would never lay a hand on you or anything of that sort. Sure, maybe it was because of your families threats but he was kind. You just had different views and he was still hooked on Aphrodite, that’s what stopped you two from working out.
“Y/N!”
You felt a hand wrap around your wrist before you were tugged off to the side after Ares lunged at you.
“What is wrong with you?”
Your eyes lifted to meet Anti’s as he stared at you but you simply turned, raising your hand, and watched as vines wrapped themselves around Ares, keeping his arms still. You soon turned your hand towards Hypatia with the intent to throw her out the window but the wind you threw her way stopped and she tilted her head before laughter left her lips.
“Now, that’s interesting. You were weak not that long ago, weren’t you?”
You watched as she tapped her forearm before pointing at you and you furrowed your eyebrows before your eyes landed on your glowing mark.
“You were clever to make him a necklace as well. Might want to make Ares one,” Hypatia smirked at you once last time before snapping her fingers, disappearing from sight.
Your eyes glanced towards Dark, noticing the narrowing eyes at Anti before you turned, wincing at the sight of Ares apologetic eyes. You let out a sigh as you lifted your hands to your temple, willing the plants to drift away from the God.
“Y/N-”
“Please, don’t. I already have a headache. I’m out of necklaces currently so you’ll have to stay here for a bit. Sébastian can show you one of the spare rooms and I’ll inform Maxence that you are here so that he can cater to you as well.”
“Should I contact the others for a meeting as well, niece?” Sébastian questioned as he stood beside you and you glanced at him.
“Tomorrow. I need to eat and then I’m going back to bed.”
~
I hope you realize that if she has to choose, she’ll choose you.
Dark scoffed at the statement before he lifted his eyes to see Anti staring at him and he narrowed his eyes.
“Dude, she doesn’t like me like that,” Anti deadpanned, crossing his arms. “It’s much like the thing with Apollo. We’re friends.”
“It better stay that way,” Dark spoke before lifting his eyes to meet blue and an annoyed look came across his face at the sight of the God of War.
“Like I want to be here either, buddy,” Ares deadpanned, rolling his eyes. “I was looking for Y/N and either she’s avoiding you two or she’s still sleeping.”
“My bets on avoiding. She avoided Dark for days after you showed up here last,” Anti shrugged. “But she did do training that required the use of abilities she doesn’t use so I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s still sleeping.”
“Not sleeping. What do you need, Ares?” Your voice drifted into the room and Dark’s eyes shifted over to you, watching as you made your way to your desk.
“How long is a bit? I have duties to attend too.”
“Your father will be here today. Speak to him about your duties. At the moment, the length of your stay depends on when Hades can find more of the stone Hecate and I need to make the necklaces,” you answered, pulling out a book from the drawer. “Now, excuse me, I have some things to figure out before the meeting with the others.” Your eyes met Dark’s shortly before you made your way out the door.
Follow her and talk to her.
Dark scrunched his nose at the command, watching your retreating form for a moment before pushing pass Ares who scoffed at the contact.
“Goddess.”
He watched her heave a sigh before she turned to face him, raising an eyebrow at him and he mentally scowled at the Monstre he had listened too. He should have planned before following through – like he usually does.
Offer help, idiot.
“Shouldn’t be doing it on your own, Goddess. Are you sure you’re able to retain everything in your state?”
You don’t have to be so insulting. She’s just going to tell you no with those words, Sébastian scoffed and Dark fought the urge to roll his eyes as he watched you shake your head, a start of a smile pulling on your lips.
“Grab the Warriors of the Darkness, will you? I’ll be in the dinning room,” you answered and Dark nodded his head as he heard Sébastian gape at the response.
How the Feu de l'enfer did you do that?
A smirk found his lips as he turned to make his way back into the library to grab said book.

“Oh, did you-”
“No,” you cut Angel off, shaking your head as you glanced over your shoulder at the two entities standing behind you. “Ryan sent him to fetch me because of Ivy and Ivy apparently decided to teleport him here and he’s refusing to leave.”
“Could it be-”
“Can we not?” You questioned, lifting your eyes to your cousin who pouted for a moment before giving you a small smile as she nodded.
“Only if we can later,” she challenged and you scrunched up your nose before a sigh left your lips, nodding. “Good.”
“Moving on,” Bellatrix stated, glancing her daughter’s way before her eyes looked at you. “What are we here for, love?”
“Ivy visited with word from both Lucifer and Flinn,” you answered. “Lucifer gave me a book for research and asked if we find a way to kill Azazel, to do so. I’ll leave that for Angel, however.”
“I’ll need your help though, sis,” Angel snorted and you waved her off.
“I’m aware.”
“And Flinn?” Hades raised an eyebrow.
“A warning. Warriors of the Dark mean harm and, apparently, they’re the only ones that can either kill us or corrupt us. They’ll want to come face to face with us alone, but Ivy suggested that we have backup, have them wait in the wing, and offered her army, Lucifer’s, and the Hellhounds’,” you answered.
“And, of course, we have our armies,” Makaria added and you nodded.
“Anything else, Y/N?” Bellatrix questioned and you shook your head.
“What about that advice, doll?” Anti mused and you tensed before throwing a glare over your shoulder. “When did you become as hostile as Dark?” He snorted.
“She hasn’t been sleeping,” André concluded, staring at you. “You haven’t been like that since before the kidnapping.”
“I thought we’ve already established that I’ve changed since the Great War,” you deadpanned, rubbing your forehead.
“What advice, Y/N?” Hades spoke up and you looked at him. “Y/N.”
“Flinn said it would be best to figure out the lover situation, but issues arise at going to figure that out,” you answered. “And I still have a few options still out there.”
“You have two more,” Jean-Louis deadpanned.
“And if you find those other two, even more issues arise because you know just as well as we do that unless you choose one instantly, the five of them would have to battle each other until one is left alive and then the one who lives is your lover. You panicked when you realized Apollo was one and thought you only had three. You panicked because of-”
“Vance. I’m aware,” you sighed, shaking your head at your sister as André whistled with a slight grin. “What, André?”
“I think Béatrice and Ivy would have a field day when Apollo is mentioned,” he answered and you shot him a weird look, watching as he shrugged with a grin. “Just saying.”
“Why are we friends again?”
“Ouch, that hurts. I’ve been your best friend the longest. Jeez.”
You rolled your eyes before rubbing your forehead again.
Maybe if you would just talk to him, Sébastian suggested.
I rather not.
There was a sigh in the back of your head as you looked at the rest of the Warriors before turning, walking past the two entities.
“Lady Y/N, something is in need of your attention,” Maxence voiced as you reached the doorway of the hall and you turned to face him. “Apparently, something is wrong with the hospital.”
“Which one?” You questioned and you watched as Maxence shifted on his feet. “What happened?”
“Someone attacked it. Only staff have been harmed and only some. They were quick to jump in front of their patients, so no children were harmed,” Maxence answered, watching as you turned once more. “Should I reschedule your other appointments, milady?”
“Please, Maxence. Make sure they understand why it’s rescheduled as well. Are you coming along?”
“Only if you wish.”
You glanced over your shoulder, your eyes catching Dark’s before you turned, heading towards your room. You needed to change into your professional clothes.
~*~
“Why are you two tagging along again?” You questioned as you looked at Anti. “I’m capable of handling this sort on my own and I doubt any of you have a background in city keeping.”
“Actually, I do, Goddess. I was a mayor before this,” Dark spoke and you glanced towards him before moving your eyes to the hospital as someone stepped out the doors.
“Lady Y/N,” the President of the hospital greeted, watching as you walked up the stairs. “Normally, I do not wish to bug you but, as I’m sure you heard-”
“Yes,” you nodded. “How many staff were harmed, may I ask?”
“20, ma’am. They were all with patients when the hospital was attacked. I don’t get why anyone would wish to attack a children’s hospital or any hospital at that.”
“I have no idea. Where are they?”
“The attack was...interesting,” Millie spoke and you glanced at her. “We’ve had to place each of them in separate rooms and strap them into the bed so they wouldn’t...jump on those who went in to treat them.”
“Jump on?” You asked, raising an eyebrow as you watched her shift in her spot. “Millie?”
“Jump on is another way of saying starting sex, Goddess,” Dark deadpanned and you threw a glare over your shoulder before returning your gaze to Millie.
“Let me see one of them, please. I may be able to figure something out.”
“Yes, of course. This way, milady.” Millie turned, walking down a hall and you followed with the other two in toe. “Dr. Lynx is the calmest of them. We thought possibly because of being a Demigod but we’re no longer sure. Who knows what would happen if it was the children that took the hit?”
“Whoever it was counting on the staff to jump in front of the children,” you spoke, stepping up to the window. “And it isn’t the God in him keeping it mellow. It’s the incubus in him. Sébastian.”
“Who is it that you are wishing for me to fetch? Angel and André?” Sébastian questioned as you turned towards him.
“No, well, yes. I need Angel, Uncle Philippe, and dad.”
“The Sex Twins?” Millie questioned and you winced at the use of the word. “Milady, is that wise?”
“Yes.” You casted your eyes to her before turning to Sébastian with a nod. “Quickly. If we don’t get it out of their systems soon, they may die.”
“Lady Y/N, do you know what attacked the hospital?” Millie asked as you looked up towards the ceiling. “And wouldn’t it be wiser for Healing Gods to be coming instead of a Death God and two sex Gods?”
“A succubus attacked the hospital, Millie,” you answered, turning your head towards her. “It’s wiser to bring in those that have sex-like abilities so that we can remove what has been planted.”
“Thought you hated those abilities, doll?” Anti raised an eyebrow over at you as you sighed.
“I’ll use them for the greater good, Anti.”
“Panic free?”
You lifted your eyes to his before turning to face the Gods that entered the area, your eyes glancing towards Dark.
“Sébastian gave a quick version of it and I have to say, I’m not stupid enough to chea-”
“We’re not having sex with the staff,” you deadpanned before wincing softly at the stares from the twins. “We’re able to remove the issue, dad. It was a succubus’ doing after all.”
“Are you sure you want to be a part of this, sis?” Angel asked as she tilted her head to the side. “The side effect of doing this is, for a moment, you feel what they feel. It might cause panic. I can call-”
“Dr. Lynx is half incubus, Angel. After he’s cured of it, he can take my place.” You gave her a soft smile. “I know better.”
“I want-”
“Yeah, yeah,” you murmured, turning towards the room. You found yourself taking a deep breath as you glanced inside the room.
“What did she want, doll?” Anti questioned and you looked over your shoulder at him before glancing at Dark.
“Him in the room with me.”
I wonder why.
Your nose scrunched at your uncle’s sarcastic comment as you watched confusion pass through Dark’s eyes before you turned, walking into the room.
“Dr. Lynx, what’s your focus right now?” You asked, watching as he turned his head towards you.
“I believe the question you’re asking is how conscious I am right now, milady,” he answered. “It comes and goes. I would have thought I wouldn’t be effected by something like this.”
“Sadly, she isn’t your normal everyday succubus,” you spoke as you walked towards the bed, your eyes glancing over your shoulder, seeing Dark lean against the doorway.
“Is he going to remove it?” Lynx questioned and you smiled gently at him. “I would have thought differently with you, milady. I can...tell you’re hesitate to do so.”
“The idea is I remove it from you and you’ll help my sister, father, and uncle.”
You watched as the doctor gave you a nod before you watched his eyes glaze over and your nose scrunched as his unwanted desire hit the room. Normally, you would never feel the desire but in order to remove it, you had to dive into the abilities you rarely yield.
Feeling no need to warn him as you watched him struggle against the straps, you reached out, touching his arm.
Focus on Dark, Y/N, Sébastian warned as you took a deep breath. However, you found it was hard to do so until Dark stood on the other side of the bed and you lifted your eyes to him.
How did he-
Now isn’t the time to question, Y/N.
Taking another deep breath, you kept your eyes on Dark for a moment before you closed your eyes.
Closing your eyes isn’t-
“I didn’t think I had to encourage you, Goddess,” Dark spoke and you resisted the urge to roll your eyes as you focused on the desire in Lynx’s body. “Surprised you even dared to try this with your history. Truly are a foolish Goddess.”
How does he know-
Now isn’t the time to question, Sébastian.
A quiet gasp left your lips before you pulled your hand away, opening your eyes to stare at Lynx who looked at you.
“Milady, are you okay?” He questioned, watching as you fumbled with the straps on his wrist and you nodded curtly, hearing Sébastian disappointment in the back of your head.
“Please, go help Angel and them,” you murmured before turning, walking out the doors. You gave a quick nod to those you passed before scurrying out of the hospital.
~*~
Dark followed you out of the room before stopping with pursed lips beside Anti who glanced over at him.
“What did you do now?”
“I didn’t do anything, genius,” Dark deadpanned, bringing a hand up to pinch his nose. “No doubt, she found herself back in whatever she was held in.”
She went to the River.
Dark froze at the voice, his eyes moving around the hall in question as to where his voice could be coming from.
You still have the ring around your neck, Dark. Apparently, it’s allowing me to communicate with you the same way I do with Y/N. Now, don’t be an idiot like before and go to the river. I’ll lead you there.
Dark pursed his lips before listening to the Monstre without giving Anti a passing phrase.
“This is idiotic,” Dark murmured under his breath as he passed by the people within the city. “How do I know this is truly you, Sébastian?”
He kept his words quiet, preferring strangers keep to themselves that pay mind to him.
You still hold my original so-called home around your neck, something you got because of the plan you hated so much. Also, I can name the book you were reading to her prior to Ares that night.
He didn’t speak and the voice inside of his head seem to know what he was waiting on.
Words of a Parvulus written by Jade Darrow. She’s up ahead.
Dark lifted his eyes, catching your H/C hair as your back was turned to him. He stopped a few feet away from you, against most of your people’s agreement.
He studied you for a moment, noticing the way you were holding yourself, how your arms wrapped around yourself as you stared at the moving water, the breeze barely moving your hair.
“She’s belle, oui?”
His eyes turned to the man who stood beside him.
“Pity no one can interest her. Lady Y/N has had bad luck with men. I’m surprised she hasn’t taken an interest in women yet. Women haven’t done her wrong yet.”
“She sees the good in everyone,” Dark spoke, turning his eyes back to you. “She may be cautious, but she comes around.”
“I haven’t seen you around here before. New to Noir?”
Dark barely spared him a glance as he made his way to you, standing beside you, adjusting the cuffs of his sleeves.
“Don’t expect comfort from me, Goddess,” Dark spoke and a small laugh left your lips as you shook your head.
“I don’t expect a lot from you anyways, Dark.”
A small smirk found Dark’s lips at that as the two of you stood there, watching the current of the River move and enjoying the quiet.
At that moment, you were grateful that he was pretending to care as Dark realized that he needed to work on being gentle for moments like this between the two of you.

“This is new, doll,” Anti spoke and your eyes glanced towards the glitching entity before grunting as you kicked the torso training bag.
“New how?”
“When does someone ever find you here? Without no one?” He questioned and a snort left your lips as you came to a stop, making your way over to a nearby bench.
“Not new, Anti,” you answered, taking a sip of the water. “What do you need?” You questioned, looking over at him.
“Dark’s looking for you.”
“Good for him.”
“You have changed a lot since we’ve met and yet, that innocent look is still there,” he commented, crossing his arms and you shook your head. “I don’t think I’ve taken the time to notice your scars.”
“Lady Y/N, your mother called asking about tonight?” Maxence questioned and a wince came to your lips. “Shall I pull your monthly no?”
“No. Anti and Dark can stay-”
“She’s insisting we have it here if you are coming,” he interrupted and you scrunched up your nose. “Your sister must have said something.”
“Most likely,” you sighed. “It’s close to time, isn’t it?”
“Yes. No doubt they will start showing the moment I tell her and I believe this is the dinner Lord Apollo said he was going too.”
“If that’s the case, the outside table, please. I’m in need of a shower and a change of clothes. Anti, forewarn Dark,” you spoke, glancing over at him before following Maxence out. “Maybe no chairs at the edge of the table unless it’s a must.”
“But, milady-”
“Please, Maxence.”
Maxence watched you for a moment before bowing in respect and you scrunched your nose, waving him off.
“You and your traditions.”
“You and breaking them,” he replied back with a grin and you shook your head, turning to walk down the hall only to stop at the sight of Dark.
“Goddess.”
“Now isn’t the time, Dark. It’s Wednesday. I have to shower and get ready for dinner. Mother is also insisting it’s here.”
You found yourself dreading the dinner. You had a feeling that you’ll spend a majority of the night trying to steer the conversations away from you and Dark.
Walking past the dark entity, you heard a few mutters under his breath as you made your way to your bedroom. Shaking your head as you stepped into your bathroom, you turned your head to look at the mirror before scrunching your nose.
You walk with confidence, yet you still see the girl you used to be in the mirror, Sébastian spoke and you sighed softly.
“Not now, uncle.”
~
Coming to a stop outside, you raised an eyebrow over at Maxence who bowed before making his way over to you.
“Your mother insisting.”
“Right, I didn’t take her into consideration when requesting that,” you sighed, thanking him, before you made your way over to your seat.
“Miss me, sweetheart?” Apollo grinned as he sat beside you and you rolled your eyes, thanking the servant that poured you wine before you brought the glass to your lips. “Here, I thought your entity wasn’t joining us.”
“He is not my entity. Will you knock it off? I do not need more people on me about it,” you sighed as your eyes glanced at the dark entity in question.
“Dark, Anti, nice of you to join us,” Thana spoke, grinning at the two. “It’s nice to know that-”
“Actually, Thana, your daughter is being stubborn about that,” Apollo spoke up and Thana grinned.
“I’m aware, Apollo.”
You ignored the two as you watched Dark take the seat across from you, making conversation with Anti before his eyes turned towards you.
“Y/N, how is researching coming along?” Bellatrix questioned and you turned your eyes on her.
“Research on what? I thought we were done dealing with William,” Jean-Paul deadpanned and you shifted in your seat.
“Warriors of the Darkness,” you answered and his eyes turned towards you. “I caught sight of their leader when I traveled to Hell to help Ivy with…something. She’s also the one that attacked one of my hospitals.”
“She is?” Thomas questioned, looking over at you. “That was some powerful magic for-”
“She’s a succubus,” you explained. “And her ability to do that only grew once she became a Warrior. I found that she was married but it’s hard to tell if her partner is still around or if her partner is under her spell. She also has this ability where-”
“Does she have violet eyes?” Damon spoke up suddenly and you glanced over at him. “Violet eyes with red hair? Has this weird tattoo on her forearm?”
“If by weird tattoo, you mean Ahriman, yes,” you answered, furrowing your eyebrows. “How do you know this?”
“She…she hung around William, claiming to be her wife,” he answered, glancing towards Pierre before looking back at you.
You furrowed your eyebrows as you shuffled through information within your head before blinking.
“William always manages to come back every ten years. That’s how he does it. Monique doesn’t bring him back. Hypatia does. She can bring back one person every decade but why is she making herself known now? William’s been gone for a few months. There’s no way she could bring him back now unless…”
“Unless what?” Apollo questioned as your eyes lifted to Dark’s for a moment before turning to look at him. “What, Y/N?”
“Unless she gains control of one of my possible lovers. I need to call Jackie,” you sighed, rubbing your forehead. “I have charms to make and I’ll need your help, dad. And probably you too, Uncle Philippe and Angel. Maybe also Antoine, Juliette, and Luc.”
“How many are you going to make?” Hades questioned and you lifted your eyes to his before you let out a sigh. “Should I ask Hecate to come and help?”
“That’ll be helpfully. She’s dangerous and can infect a God. She infected a demigod and it’s because of his incubus blood that he wasn’t as under as the others. Angel can make sure André is under her spell and I can make sure someone – either Anti, Dark, or Apollo – is as well,” you spoke and Angel sat forward, looking over at her.
“Then we need to start training you to start using it. Last time you full on used our father’s power, you passed out,” Angel spoke and you lifted your eyes to hers. “And unless she’s been watching, she would have no clue that Apollo is one. Dark is going to have to be the one to do that with…I think I might have a course of action to use when it’s time.”
“Can we name you Goddess of Battle Strategies?” Christina snorted as she shook her head. “Be careful, that’s all I ask of you, Y/N. I might not be around like I used to be but I still worry.”
“I think she can handle herself well,” Eva spoke up as she glanced towards you. “I mean, look how she holds herself now compared to a year ago and then compared that to before the Great War. She’s come a long way to have that crown on her forearm.”
When all eyes fell on you, you shifted in your seat before you met their eyes. As your eyes landed on Dark’s, you watched an emotion flash through them before he was huffing and crossing his arms as he looked away.
~
“Could you make them less girly?” Apollo questioned and you stared at him. “What? Just a question.”
“It’s a crystal that Hecate and I barely have any of. Hades has to go on a hunt to find them. Be happy you’re one of the first to receive one,” you deadpanned, dropping it in his hand.
“To receive what, doll?” Anti questioned and you glanced over at him, noticing Dark behind him before you lifted a necklace at him. “What’s that?”
“Your charm,” you answered as he took it. “Dark, do you want one or not?”
“Your sister-”
“I’m giving you the option of whether or not you want to do that.”
“Where’s Vance’s?” Apollo questioned as he looked down at the remaining necklaces – two.
“Hades was taking it over,” you spoke, lifting one towards Dark. “Yes or no?”
“No, foolish Goddess,” Dark deadpanned and you shrugged, setting the necklace down. “What about you?”
“Y/N? Please, the one ability she does use from her father is seduction immunity,” Apollo snorted and you rolled your eyes.
“Warriors of the Source aren’t affected by something like that,” you pointed out. “Anything of that nature doesn’t affected us so something like mind control of seduction doesn’t work when it comes to Warriors of the Darkness using them against us.”
“But everyone else?” Anti raised an eyebrow at that.
“Depends on the someone. The source didn’t want to risk us becoming mad with power so certain things had been reduced after the Warriors of the Darkness happened,” you answered.
“I gotta head out. Let me know how training goes, alright?” Apollo pressed a kiss to your temple and you raised an eyebrow. “I’m aware, stay away from the woman with violet eyes and red hair. Don’t need to remind me.”
“Good. Tell Hyacinth I said hello?”
“He would have liked you,” Apollo hummed. “Will do. Bye, Dark, Anti.” With that, Apollo disappeared from sight and you marked the page of your shadow book before turning pages.
“Hyacinth?” Anti was the first to question and you glanced up at him before nodding your head.
“He was Apollo’s lover. He was also admired by Zephyrus, the God of the West Wind. It’s believed he had gotten jealous that Hyacinth had chosen Apollo over him so he had made a discus fly into him while Apollo and Hyacinth was throwing it and it had killed him,” you answered and Anti hummed.
“That’s why Apollo’s so-called advances doesn’t shock you.”
“He’s a flirt like his father and he’s a good friend. André acts similar,” you shrugged as you closed your shadow book. Your eyes locking with Dark’s as you looked up and you furrowed your eyebrows at the distant look in his eyes that was similar to when Isabelle was talking to Moon or when you were talking to Sébastian.
Shaking your head, you moved towards your desk, placing the shadow book there before going to grab the necklaces.
You glanced back at the two as their voices began to fill the room and you took a deep breath.
Training is going to suck.

“So, cousin dear, why have you called upon us?” Jean-Louis spoke sarcastically and you glanced over at him before shifting on your feet. “Also, why is as…Ares here?”
“Y/N?” Bellatrix raised an eyebrow at you and you lifted your eyes to her. “What’s going on?”
“Hypatia showed up last night,” you started, ruffling your hair, “and Ares was under her control so he’ll need a necklace too, which is why he’s here.”
“But that’s not all, is it?” Hades spoke and you shook your head. “What else, sweetheart?”
“I think we may have mistaken who we thought the Warriors of the Past were referring too,” you answered, your eyes shifted towards the entities in question.
Dark had an annoyed look across his face as he stood there, his arms crossed as he watched you.
Anti looked uncomfortable standing next to Dark, glancing between him and you.
“What do you mean?” Iris questioned as Bellatrix furrowed her eyebrows at the statement and Angel looked towards the entities.
“When I fainted that time during training, the Warriors of the Past spoke to me and told me that I had a possible lover closer to age and training beside me, someone I least expected,” you explained. “We thought it was Dark because of that other training incident.”
“If it wasn’t Dark, who?” Emma tilted her head at you and you shifted on your feet as you looked towards her.
“We discovered last night when Hypatia had Ares attacked me. I was still weak at the time so my reflexes were slow and…Anti pulled me away in time,” you answered.
“And you keep ignoring anything dealing with feelings for Dark,” Juliette snorted and you gave your cousin a dull look. “Y/N, if Dark wasn’t the one they were referring too, that means you fell in love with him.” She raised an eyebrow at you as you stared at her, ignoring the snort that came from Sébastian.
“We’re not discussing this.”
“Actually, we are,” Makaria pointed out and you gave her a dull look. “It’s the reason you called us here, actually.”
“She’s not wrong,” Jackie shrugged.
“It’s obvious who you’d choose if you had too,” Isabelle butted in and you let out a sigh, rubbing your forehead.
“I’m going to continue studying,” you muttered, turning to walk towards the dining room before you were narrowing your eyes at Apollo who had a grin on his face. “Don’t.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. I didn’t say anything.”
“You thought it.”
“So, maybe I did. Hello, Dark.”
You glanced behind you at the glowering entity before raising an eyebrow at Apollo who fell into step with you.
“So, what are we studying today?”
“You’re a pain.”
Apollo grinned at that, his eyes moving to the table filled with books before they returned to you, raising an eyebrow.
“Avoiding the library again? Makes sense. My brother is here. Let’s pray Aphrodite doesn’t show or we’ll have more trouble,” he voiced and you rolled your eyes, watching as Dark resumed his spot from earlier.
“Aphrodite showing is the least of my concerns,” you said, moving towards the table. “You’re a distraction so your help isn’t needed.”
“Oh, I’m the distraction?” Apollo raised his eyebrows in the direction of Dark and a scowl found your lips.
“Yes, because all you do is talk,” Dark deadpanned, his eyes glancing up at him.
“And yet, it’s ironic when it’s you she’s in love with.”
“Apollo,” you scowled and a smirk came across Apollo’s lips as he returned his gaze on you.
“Just proving my point, sweetheart.”
“Flirting with a brother’s ex, are we now, Apollo?”
You flew your hands up before they rested on your temple, pressing down ever-so-slightly, closing your eyes.
You regretted closing your eyes, however. Your senses, trained to pick up the littlest of noises in case you lost your sight, had the bickering between Apollo and Ares louder than what it was and it was worsen your headache – why were you getting those so often all of a sudden? From the use of the abilities maybe?
“Goddess.”
Hearing his deep voice, your eyes opened, looking towards him as he gestured you over to him. Allowing your feet to move, you soon found yourself close to him.
“Don’t touch but look.”
Eyes falling where he was pointing on the page, your eyes soon glided over the sentence, furrowing your eyebrows.
“An Ijiraq was one of the hardest to turn to the darkness? I can see why a Djinn might but an Ijiraq?” You voiced, your eyes lifting to Dark’s. “Ijirait are shapeshifters that would kidnap children, hide them, and abandon them. Djinns can be responsible for misfortune, possession, and diseases but they can also be supportive and benevolent sometimes.”
“You are well versed,” Dark commented and you gave him a dull look before it fell at the slight tug on his lips.
“I need to have Auntie try to get a hold of the Inuit’s Gods, see if they know of a Seraphina,” you spoke, leaning over the table to look at the book. “Sébastian.”
“I’m being graced with the mission?” Sébastian raised an eyebrow and you lifted your eyes to him. “Right, one of two that you trust to deliver so and one can barely leave your palace.”
“He’s allowed to do as he pleases. He chosen not to.”
“Who would choose to leave you?” He smirked at you and you rolled your eyes. “I shall be back with news?”
“Please.”
~
“You know, prince-”
“Don’t even finish that sentence,” you chirped in, shifting through paperwork. “You no longer can call me that.”
“Still upset about-”
“Must I remind you, I broke up with you, Ares.” Lifting your eyes, you met his blue ones, watching annoyance flash through them. “Please, leave me to work. Unlike some people, I have a city to maintain on top of everything else I do. I don’t have time for your chitchat.”
“Always hated you in this attire.”
You waved him off, your eyes dropping to your tablet of a reminder of a meeting with someone in a few minutes. Standing, you made your way out the door, stopping at a chest coming into view before lifting your eyes to meet Dark’s.
“Are you needing something? I have a meeting to get to.”
“Business meeting?” Dark raised an eyebrow at you and you let out a soft sigh.
“I don’t know. Excuse me.”
“I’m curious to see how you work.”
Your eyes glanced back at him, noticing he was following you, and scrunched up your nose before entering the throne room.
“What are you doing here?” Dark deadpanned and you lifted your head, meeting green eyes that held a wicked glint.
“I can come and goes as I please. I am one of her best friends after all,” Ivy replied with a wicked smirk. “Anyways, Flinn has business to speak to you about, Y/N.”
Raising your eyes to the King of Sins, you watched as respect flash through his eyes before nodding his head with a smirk.
“Nice to officially meet you, Y/N. I can see why the Source choose you as the Warrior of the Crown,” Flinn commented, his eyes flirting over to Dark, and a hum left his lips. “The Source works wonders, didn’t it?”
“What are you wishing to speak to me about?” You questioned as his eyes turned to yours.
“They could be stronger than what we think,” he started, “As you know, I speak to the Source directly and I was to keep an eye on them but they’ve stayed under the radar until now. There’s a chance they’ve been training for this moment. A good chance since it was only recently that the Warriors were where they needed to be.”
“There’s also a good chance she’ll be trying to get her husband back.”
“No, Y/N,” Flinn spoke and you lifted your eyes to his, watching as he took a deep breath. “She’s wanting revenge.”
“And we’ll be ready.”
“She wants to take away your lovers, Y/N. She plans on putting you at risk of turning to the darkness.”

“Don’t lie to me. I know you were hoping for something different,” Apollo spoke, pointing a finger at you and you rolled your eyes. “I’ve gotten to know you over these past few months, Y/N.”
“Just because I was hoping for something different doesn’t mean I was hoping he was lying, Apollo,” you deadpanned. “Not many people know that Ivy is with a fallen angel, so I knew he wasn’t lying.”
“You should have-”
“Do not turn into Juliette and Angel,” you scowled and his eyebrows raised.
“Angel has joined Juliette? I thought she disliked him greatly.”
“She does.”
“Then why?”
“Because of how differently Y/N began to act after coming into contact with him,” Sébastian spoke from the doorway and you turned your head to look at him. “However, it seems Ivy decided to teleport the entity here and he is refusing to leave.”
“Refusing to leave or you refusing to take him?” You challenged and Sébastian rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms.
“So, what if I did refuse? He can be of help.”
You stared at him for a moment before gesturing towards Apollo who glanced between the two of you.
“Why am I being gestured for? Why did I just get thrown into? What don’t I know?” Apollo questioned and Sébastian snorted, raising an eyebrow at you.
“I may or may not have meet eyes with the leader of Warriors of the Dark and so there may or may not be a battle coming up again?” You offered and Apollo stared at you before shaking his head.
“Who knows?”
“I told Bellatrix. News travels fast after that since Y/N is the only one that doesn’t show there often like the rest,” Sébastian answered. “Hades was there as well.”
“And Ivy knows. Told her to forewarn Lucifer,” you added before scrunching up your nose. “Where did I place that book?”
“The Warriors of the Dark book?” Apollo questioned and you nodded. “It’s in your desk.”
“Do you ever leave?” A familiar annoyed voice drifted into the room and your head turned to meet his eyes.
“You’re right. He doesn’t care that you’re a God,” Apollo mused. “No wonder everyone dislikes him.”
“Expect you, apparently,” Dark deadpanned and Apollo grinned at him.
“I know plenty of stories, bud.”
“Apollo!” You turned on your feet to scowl at the God who shrugged in response, a grin on his lips.
“Sorry, sweetheart.”
“Gods, you’re just as bad as Hades is with his cursing,” you sighed, rubbing your forehead for a moment before heading towards your desk. “Sébastian will take you home, Dark.”
With your back towards them, you missed the look Sébastian gave Dark, the smirk on Apollo’s lips, and Dark’s annoyed face.
“You need me, Goddess,” he spoke up and you found yourself annoyed at the statement as a wince filled the air.
“Wrong thing to say, bud,” Apollo murmured as you turned to face the entity.
“I haven’t needed anyone in a long time, Dark, even prior to meeting you. Lovers are only mandatory to keep one from falling prey to the darkness, much like the Warriors of the Dark did. So, no, I don’t need you and even if I did, Apollo is more than willing to step up and take the place you held the last time you were here,” you spoke, watching as Dark narrowed his eyes at the mention of Apollo. “Now, are you going home or not?”
“Anti should be joining us soon,” Dark spoke, turning to face the hallway and you furrowed your eyebrows as you watched him. “That servant of yours already has rooms for us.”
You looked at Apollo who shrugged at your unspoken question before you turned, opening the drawer to your desk, the book you were looking for sitting on top.
“Don’t even think about touching that book, Goddess,” came the warned voice of Dark and you scrunched up your nose, shooting him an annoyed look over your shoulder.
“The dark spell that was on it has been gone for months.”
“Have you touched it?” He challenged and you scowled at him.
You hadn’t. You’d only been using abilities you had to lift the book and place it in the drawer. Apollo had been the only one, beside Hades and Dark, to touch it.
Twirling your hand, the book began levitating on top of your desk and hit it was a thud. You twirled your fingers, flipping through the pages before finding the one that you wanted.
“Happy?” You deadpanned, doubting he was as you glanced over your shoulder again and you watched the entity roll his eyes before leaving the room. “Why am I getting annoyed?” You questioned quietly, glancing towards the God and Monstre that stayed in the room.
“Because you forced yourself to have nothing to do with him and now, he’s back and not leaving you alone,” Sébastian answered and you scrunched up your nose. “Do your reading, niece. No doubt you won’t get a lot of quiet here soon.”
“That’s an understatement,” you murmured before looking at Apollo. “You get to meet the one person that I wouldn’t mind keeping in contact with.”
“If it wasn’t for the fact that he’s like Dark’s second command?” Apollo questioned with a raised eyebrow and you stuck your tongue out. “He’s the one that calls you doll, isn’t he?”
“That he is.”
~
“You’re not by yourself, doll, and it isn’t Dark with you,” a familiar voice drifted into the library and you glanced over your shoulder at the glitchy form by your door.
“Hello, Anti,” you hummed, returning your gaze to your book. “Anti, this is Apollo. Apollo, this is Anti. You guys met momentarily the same day we met.”
“Y/N speaks fondly of you. If I didn’t know any better, I would say you were the possible lover instead of Dark,” Apollo offered as you had air push the book closed with a sigh. “Done?”
“For now. Whoever took care of this book was thorough when it came to knowing everything there was to know about them. I haven’t even gotten to their abilities yet. I’m only on the Warrior of Snakes,” you sighed, plopping down beside Apollo. “What do you got?”
“You don’t have much on the demon other than he’s been locked in Lucifer’s dungeon, the deepest part of that. Doesn’t even say why he was,” Apollo answered.
“I already know all of that. I need to know his abilities.” You pinched the bridge of your nose as another sigh left your lips.
You couldn’t focus which was why you had only reached the Warrior of Snakes before calling it quits for the day. You found yourself wanting to curl up under your blankets and it wasn’t because of William this time.
You wanted to hide away from Dark.
“Crap. I gotta head out. It’s almost time for the sun to rise on the other side of the world and it’s the beginning of my week.” Apollo stood, kissing your temple. “Give me a call if you need anything, sweetheart.”
“Do your job, Apollo. I’ll do mine.”
You waved him off as he gave you a salute, teleporting from his spot, and you reached for your tablet.
“You and Apollo, huh, doll?” Anti taunted as he sat across from you and you rolled your eyes.
“He’s a flirt like his father. Apollo and I are just friends.”
“But possible lovers.”
“Yes.”
Anti hummed at that as he tapped his fingers against the table, his eyes glancing around the library before landing on you once more.
“Don’t.”
“Wasn’t going to say anything, doll.” Anti grinned at you and you rolled your eyes again, grabbing your tablet. “Okay, so maybe I was.”
“I don’t need you getting on me like everyone else.”
Anti hummed at that, tapping his fingers against his chin as the doors to the library opened and your eyes lifted to the reason of most of your issues.
“Should have known you would say hello to her first,” Dark voiced his annoyance and Anti grinned wickedly as he looked over his shoulder.
“Of course. I like her better.”
You rolled your eyes at the statement before you remembered something, standing from your chair. Making your way towards your ladder in the back, you climbed towards the top. Your eyes flirted over the spines of the books there before moving the ladder.
“What are you doing, doll?” Anti questioned and you glanced over your shoulder at the two before looking at the books again.
“Demons were once angels. I forgot about that when I asked Apollo to look up Azazel,” you answered, grabbing a few books off the shelf before making your descent.
“A demon is what caused Ivy to panic?” Dark deadpanned and you glanced at him as you set the books down. “The Sin who has the ability to order demons around?”
“Yes,” you answered, opening one of the books. “Her past is similar to mine.”
“Similar to yours, doll? She was abused by the demon.”
“Close,” Ivy spoke from behind them and Anti turned his head to look at her. “Azazel was an angel and I was about 8 when I apparently caught his interest during a meeting with Lucifer and the Archangels. I liked to roam, he tried to advance himself on me. Michael was the one to save me from him,” she finished, her eyes looking over at you. “The old man wanted me to speak to you.”
“Yes, of course,” you agreed, closing the book. “We can take this elsewhere if you want privacy.”
“Here is fine.”
You watched as she glanced at the two entities before stepping around the table, holding out a book.
“He said this may be helpful in your research. Julie had found this book awhile back,” Ivy stated, setting it on the table. “And he asks that if you find a way to kill Azazel, to do so.”
“Angel would be the best bet for that,” you answered, reaching for the book before scowling at the hand that stopped her. “For your information, Dark, I’ve learned to control that ability,” you deadpanned as you lifted your eyes to him.
“Trouble in paradise, Y/N?” Ivy mused and you turned your eyes on her with a glare. “I figured you’ll bring it up to Angel, though I still find it funny that you follow the views you had as the Goddess of Life when you’re now the Goddess of Witchcraft.”
“You say that when Ryan still follows the same views he held, minus some,” you deadpanned and Ivy shrugged, taking a sit, her feet resting on the table. “You have more?”
“From Flinn,” she answered, looking at her nails before sending you a grin. “He sends a warning. As you know, the Source is technically his parent, so he knows a thing or two.”
“A warning?” Dark voiced and Ivy glanced over at him before returning her eyes to you.
“They mean harm, Y/N, and if anyone can kill or corrupt the Warriors of the Source, the Light, it’s them,” she spoke and your eyes met hers. “They’ll want to come face to face with no extra people. It would be wise to gather as much backup as you can, have them wait outside for the right time when it happens. As you know, you have Lucifer’s army, my army, and Hellhounds’ added bull.”
Standing, Ivy met your eyes once more, tilting her head to the side as she glanced at Dark before looking at you again.
“And Flinn says it would be best to figure out the lover situation, a word of advice he called it.”
“I figured as much. Issue is, for my lover to claim their mark, it has to be an act of sex or resting after a big event,” you deadpanned before sighing, pinching the bridge of your nose. “I’ll figure something out, Ivy. Thank Flinn for me and tell Lucifer I’ll do my best to find a way. Thanks for the backup.”
“Not a problem,” Ivy smirked before twirling her fingers at the three of you. “See you later.”
Fuck.

“Angel, why-No, no. Let me correct myself. Hades,” Bellatrix turned a pointed finger at her lover, shoving it against his chest. “why did you let her speak to your mother? Do you know how idiotic and foolish that is? And to let her act as if she was in desperate need of help! How your mother didn’t sense she wasn’t in pain is beyond me! We are not in such a desperate need for help that you go to a Titan and not just any Titan, one of the Titans that is after the French’s head!”
“Auntie-”
You fell silent as she turned her pointed finger towards you and you shifted on your feet before you took a deep breath to calm your beating heart.
“It’s a backup, that is all it is. With Monique out, we need all the help we can get. She’ll try everything she can to curse us and you know it. Having Rhea as a backup plan will help greatly for she’s old enough to be able to break whatever curse is thrown our way,” you continued, watching as she stared at you. “And I was in pain. The aura in Tartarus caused that. I wouldn’t willing go anywhere like that unless it was of importance.”
Bellatrix’s lips stayed pulled into a scowl and you shifted on your feet once more, your eyes shifting over familiar faces of the Warriors, their lovers, the Sins, and family. Your eyes swiped over the faces of two entities that seemed to always want to know what’s going on.
Anti seemed amused over the situation – something that didn’t surprise you. Dark, however, seemed...angry. Him being angry wasn’t anything new but you would have expected something of annoyance there as well. The meeting was anything but what he should be.
“You know she’s right, Bella,” Hades murmured gently, placing a hand on her bicep gently, and you felt a pang in your chest as you watched the two before your eyes shifted away, meeting the green eyes of Béatrice whose eyebrows rose in curiosity.
“Y/N, is that jeal-”
“Mama, did you figure out how Monique got out?” You cut the Sin of Envy off quickly, turning your eyes to your smirking mother as you felt your sister’s eyes on you. “Mama, please.”
“Same way. There’s good reason to believe that she’s the reason William is back, my dear,” Thana spoke, a sigh leaving her lips. “There’s only so much I can give them before it kills them.”
You still felt your sister’s eyes on you and you dared to glance her way, wincing at the knowing glint in her eye.
Y/N!
You physically flinched at the singing voice, eyes falling onto you as you took a step away from everyone.
“Y/N?”
Your eyes lifted to Bellatrix whose eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
I heard you decided to not play fair, granddaughter. It’s a pity really.
“Go away,” you murmured, your eyes falling to the ground.
Now, now. That’s a very rude thing to say to your grandmother.
Your hands covered your ears as they began to ring at the sound of her laughter within your mind.
“Sis?”
No matter how hard you try, foolish girl, I still know how to create chaos within your mind.
Your breathing was heavy and you flinched at the gentle touch on your hands, your eyes raising to meet the same e/c you had filled with worry.
“Listen to me, Y/N. You need to put up a wall,” Thana spoke gently and you shook your head. “Sébastian can-”
Look at him, a gentler voice within your mind spoke. Look at him and focus on him, Y/N. I know you do not want him to know but it’ll help. Trust me.
A quiet noise left you as you shifted your eyes towards the entity in question who looked ready to step in for whatever reason. Your eyes met his and you watched mix emotions pass them.
Foolish girl, he doesn’t care!
Focus on him, niece. Ignore her and focus on him. They’re supposed to be able to calm you, supposed to be able to bring you back from whatever you’re going through, even if it’s a battle within your mind. He may not know but look at him, he’s ready to step in. Somewhere deep inside him, he knows and he cannot place it or understand why. Focus on him.
You felt your mother’s hands slip from your arms as you dropped your hands, listening to Sébastian as you took deep breaths.
You may have won this time, Sébastian, but he won’t always be on standby.
You barely heard Monique say as you help eye contact with the dark entity. You dropped the contact the moment you felt Monique was gone from your mind and you took a deep breath.
“Y/N?”
“I’m going to go speak to Juliette and them. See if they know how to put up a wall.”
“Y/N.”
“I don’t know when I’ll be back.”
“Y/N, your aunt is speaking to you.”
Your eyes shot towards Hades who raised an eyebrow back at you before your eyes fell onto the Goddess beside him.
“Are you okay?” Bellatrix questioned, her voice gentle and soft, worry flashing in her eyes.
You felt the usual lie on the tip of your tongue – yes, auntie, I’m okay. Promise. But, somehow, you couldn’t find yourself to sing the same old lie, not with Thana’s knowing look, not with the only two entities you found yourself okay with looking at you.
“No,” you answered honestly, your eyes glancing around the room for a moment before returning to your aunt’s. “But I will be, just like I always am,” you promised.
~
“I was coming to see you,” you spoke as you stepped into your throne room, your eyes meeting green ones.
“Bellatrix called Lyustifer who called me,” the girl spoke. “He made comments on visiting with us but Bellatrix said you had some unwanted guests?”
“We’re unwanted, doll?”
Your eyes glanced towards Anti who decided to join along before returning to Juliette and the Hellhounds.
“Depends on who you ask. I invited them, everyone else disagreed. I see Lia made it safely to you.”
“Yes. It seems like we owe you once more,” Juliette spoke and you waved her off with a smile.
“Not needed.”
“My job as General and my duty as a princesse,” Juliette stated, giving you a bow. “I sense-”
“Juliette.”
You watched as the French Princess scrunched up her nose before shooting daggers towards the new presence.
“Darkiplier.”
“I forget we knew him,” Lia spoke and the redhead beside her snorted. “You try being trapped in a book, Rafael,” she scowled.
“I’ve had darkness within my mind. I can handle a book,” the redhead deadpanned before wincing, rubbing the back of his head. “What was that for?”
“Stop being a jerk,” Juliette scowled before lifting her eyes to yours. “Lyustifer warns that you are dealing with someone again, someone he once helped you with?”
“Yes, and they brought my grandmother into this. Which prompts my next question,” you spoke, shifting on your feet. “Did you ever figure out how to block Lucifer from your mind?”
“Sadly, no,” Juliette answered, shaking her head. “Rafael couldn’t either and he had dealt with someone within his mind prior to Miguel. Jophiel minded her own business within Lia’s so we never had the chance to try.”
You nodded, looking at the ground for a moment before lifting them back to Juliette as she tilted her head to the side.
“Aura might be able to come up with something. Who is it that you’re wanting to block?”
“Just Monique. I’m connected to her brother so, in turn, I’m connected to her. I can put up a wall but doing so blocks communication with Sébastian.”
You watched her nod before looking at the sorceress behind her who hummed in reply.
“I might be able to whip something up. Think I could get a vial of his blood?” Aura questioned, tilting her head to the side as she took her husband’s arm and your hand reached for your necklace before you looked off to the side where the Monstre in question now stood.
“That won’t be an issue as long as you promise communication won’t be cut between the two of us. Whether she admits it or not, Y/N tends to need my guidance,” Sébastian spoke and the sorceress nodded.
“Thank you. Sébastian will give you what you need. I need to get to the training room,” you spoke, bowing your head in thanks before turning and began walking to the hall.
“Y/N.”
You glanced over your shoulder at the Princess who glanced at the Hellhounds, watching them nod, before looking back at you.
“If you need help in what’s coming, then count us in. Might shock him to have an angel or two on the battlefield with you. This is coming from Lyustifer and Hellhounds.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.”
~
“Whoa, Y/N, take it easy. Hey, hey, hey.”
You heard the Sin of Anger, Clément, say but it wasn’t until André took hold of the punching bag, leaning around it to look at you, eyebrows furrowed.
“She’s not angry,” Clément stated and André waved him off.
“I’m aware. I think it’s best to call it a day. If Angel wants more training, she’ll let you know,” André spoke aloud, his eyes still on you and you shifted on your feet. “I think we should go on a walk.”
“I rather not.”
“You’ve been questioned and talked to by everyone but me, wonder girl.”
“That’s kind of the reason why I don’t want too,” you deadpanned, heading towards a nearby bench. “Because it’s been about Dark, about William, about my mental health. And I get why. I get why everyone is worried, why everyone is wanting to talk but I don’t want to talk. Talking is making it worse right now. I want to focus on the matter at hand. I want to focus on taking William down once and for all. So, no, let’s not go on that walk. Let’s wait until this is over.”
Your eyes lifted to meet the Sin’s before they shifted to the glitchy entity in the doorway and a sigh left your lips.
“What, Anti?”
“I need to talk to you, doll. Alone.”
You glanced at André before you walked towards the entity, following him to your library. You weren’t paying attention to where you were going. You were too busy regretting how you sounded when you spoke to the Sin.
Once you heard the door shut behind you, your eyes glanced around the slightly dark room and you frowned when you didn’t spot Anti before your eyes were raising to another entity in front of you. Staring at the dark entity, you noticed just how annoyed he looked.
“You’ve been avoiding me.”
There was only one word that came to mind as you stared at Darkiplier, his arms crossed as he waited for you to say or do something.
Only one word – fuck.
