A/N: Hey guys! Go read this post (NSFW is in this) please! Thank you ^.^
âThe chances are-â
â-Slim, Iâm aware, Angel, but unless mother can come up with something, we have to take the risk,â you answered, glancing up from your tablet. âAnyways, you said you were here for business?â
âYes, it came to AndrĂ©âs attention that some of your men might need to be retrained,â she replied, taking a seat in one of your chairs across from your desk. âAnd Auntie needs to know if youâre still able to handle judgements. She doesnât want to put too much on you right now.â
âIâm-â
â-okay, we know,â Angel snorted. âIt was only a matter of time before we got that from you. However, you know just as well as us that if you get stressed enough, youâll find yourself in those moments.â
Your eyes lifted to meet hers before they shifted to the door as Dark stepped in, his nose scrunching at the sight of your sister.
âYou would think he would get over Gods being here, since itâs our territory now,â Angel hummed as she glanced back at him. âYou two-â
âAngel,â you warned out of habit before you noticed how Dark seemed to relax a bit more after that.
I believe heâs completely new to anything romantic, SĂ©bastian mused and you shook your head at the Monstre before meeting Angelâs eyes once more.
âSĂ©bastian has taken on some of my roles, especially the ones dealing with Noir. I can still handle judgements on top of our current situation,â you spoke. âTell Auntie thank you but I got it figured out. As for the training, send a list and Iâll have Maxence send out the orders.â
Your eyebrows furrowed, lifting your eyes to Angel who shrugged in response, and SĂ©bastian hummed in the back of your head.
Time for a favor from Juliette and the Hellhounds, donât you think?
âSĂ©bastian,â you spoke, your eyes glancing over to the side as the Monstre appeared beside you, âI think itâs time you pay some friends a visit.â
~
âAre you sure you want to do this, Y/N?â Juliette Pierre questioned over the phone. âYou may hate the results.â
âNo choice in the matter, Juliette.â Your eyes lifted to Apolloâs as you watched the God set books on your desk. âSummon me or SĂ©bastian and weâll be there for results when you have them as fast as possible.â
âWill do.â
You gave each other your goodbyes before you set your phone down, your hands reaching out for the books. Your nose scrunched as you lifted your eyes to Apolloâs once more.
âThe next task you get, sweetheart, comes to me, Anti, or Dark, you hear me?â He warned and you raised an eyebrow at him. âGot it?â
âYeah, got it.â
âYou swear it?â
Your eyes drifted towards the new presence in the room, Dark standing at the open door and Anti wasnât far behind him.
âYou three agreed upon this?â
âY/N, do you swear it?â Apollo repeated as your hands hovered over the books you needed.
If he had asked for a promise, you would have easily agreed to it but a swear, a Godâs swear, was a different story.
Promises could be broken and have no repercussions, the worst thing to happen was hurting someone. A Godâs swear? That had many repercussions â the worst one being that whoever you swore too had the ability to have you has a servant. You doubted any of the three would do that to you but itâs not often a God had to swear.
âY/N?â
âApollo, I ca-â
âGoddess.â
You tensed for a moment, recognizing that tone of voice before you were lifting your eyes to meet Darkâs.
Please.
You froze, eyes wide as you stared at the entity who raised an eyebrow back at you. You knew that voice and you knew it was SĂ©bastianâs, it wasnât even Moniqueâs. It was his.
Iâll explain when I get back, SĂ©bastian rushed out and you watched as his eyebrows furrowed for a moment before realization flashed through his eyes.
âDoll?â
You jerked forward just a bit as your eyes shifted over to Anti and you winced for a moment before your eyes went back to Darkâs.
âI swear,â you murmured and watched a flicker of pride flash through his eyes. Feeling your cheeks warm up, you adverted your eyes, grasping the books as a chuckle left Apolloâs lips.
âNever thought Iâd see you flustered, sweetheart.â
A noise left you as you felt your cheeks grow hotter and you narrowed your eyes at Apollo whose grin widened.
âGo away.â
âNah, I want to tease you some more.â
Another noise left you before you gathered the books off your desk as you stood. You shot a glare over at Apollo as laughter left his lips.
âDidnât think you would be this easy to tease, sweetheart,â Apollo admitted and you stared at him. âWhat?â
âHow many relationships do you think Iâve been in?â
âOh, so you two are in a relationship!â
âNo! Wait, thatâs not what I- Apollo!â A scowl found your lips as Anti began to join him in the laughter and a sigh left Darkâs lips.
âThatâs enough of that,â Dark spoke up and Apollo hummed.
âJumping to your lo-ow! That really hurt!â Apollo scowled over at you, rubbing the spot on his arm that you struck.
âWhat is going on here?â SĂ©bastianâs amused voice drifting into the room and you and Dark both looked at him with a scowl. âHello to you too.â
âCan you two give us a moment?â You questioned, looking between Apollo and Anti. âSĂ©bastian needs to talk to Dark and I.â
âAwe, we canât stick around?â
âNo.â Dark stared at Apollo who pouted in response before pointing at you.
âYou owe me.â
âIâll buy you dinner when this blows over.â
âThatâs two dinner dates now!â Apollo sung as he headed out the door, giving Anti a shove first.
âTheyâre not dates!â You objected after him and heard the crackling of his laugh ringing through the halls.
âYou know Apollo doesnât care,â SĂ©bastian mused and you scrunched your nose, watching as he shut the door behind him. âIâm sure your mind has already figured it out, Y/N.â
âIt has to do with the ring, doesnât it?â You questioned, your eyes meeting your uncleâs. âWhich makes sense when you think about it. It took how long after I got the ring for us to be connected? Well, it makes sense that you and Dark can communicate that way but how can Dark and I?â
âIf you really tried, you could communicate with your mother,â SĂ©bastian hummed, his eyes glancing over at Dark as the entity leaned back against your desk. âHowever, it could also be that you two are connected that way because you both wear one of my rings. Well, you did at one point but Ares currently holds it.â
âHades should be by with more crystals so I can make Ares one soon,â you murmured, your eyes glancing over at Dark, watching the annoyed look past through his eyes.
âGood, donât want to be connected to that-â
âSĂ©bastian!â
~
âLook, I know where youâre getting at, Y/N, but Flinn says he canât tell anyone and, before you suggest it, I already brought it up to him about asking but he says the Source doesnât allow anyone to go see them,â Ivy stated over the phone and you scrunched your nose as you paced in front of the library window.
âTheyâre the oldest Pantheon and not even Warriors can speak to them,â you sighed and was met with silence. âIvy?â
âYou really havenât gotten far in reading that book of yours, have you?â
âWhich one?â You furrowed your eyebrows, glancing towards the table where Dark, Apollo, and Anti sat. Anti met your gaze with a raised eyebrow, Apollo shrugged, and Dark glanced back at you for a moment before returning to the book in front of him.
âWarriors of the Source, the one you have to keep up on,â Ivy hummed and you could hear a quiet click, signifying she had locked herself â and probably Ryan â in a room for no interruptions.
âIâve read it beginning to end, Ivy.â
âThen you need to read it again, because you, Angel, pretty much anyone that deals, or dealt in your case, with life or death all started somewhere and, between me and you, they didnât start with Gods.â
âWhat?â
âHell, did Dark make you go dumb?â Ivy snorted as your pacing came to a stop. âWhen you get the chance, look up Evacska Consano and Sephtis Proeliator.â
âIvy, what do you know that I donât know?â
âLife, Death, and even Fate Gods, Y/N? They all have one thing in common.â
âHow?â
A sigh was heard from the other side of the phone and your pacing began back up until an arm blocked your way. Lifting your eyes, you met Darkâs who raised an eyebrow at him.
He knows youâre beginning to stress, niece, SĂ©bastian spoke gently as murmurs began through the phone.
âYou didnât hear this from me,â a new voice drifted into the phone and you furrowed your eyebrows. âFlinn would just sigh and shake his head if he knew I told you, girly.â
âHow come Iâm not surprised, Jay?â You questioned and a chuckle flooded the phone. âWhat didnât I hear?â
âAs Ivy stated, Life, Death, and Fate Gods all share one thing and that one this is ancestors,â he answered.
âAncestors?â
âYes, not long after Sins were made, the Source made another race. There was no name to the race back then. Back then, magic users were royalty and no one was afraid of them like they are today. Today, we call this race the Personifications. We donât believe they are alive today but there is a possibility.â
âEvacska Consano and Sephtis Proeliator were one,â you concluded and met Darkâs gaze again before watching as he turned to glare at the two teasing at the table â the only two, aside from SĂ©bastian, that knew that there wasâŠsomething going on.
You two really needed to talk more about it.
âThey were, yes. Evacska was the Personification of Life and Sephtis was of Death. While they tried to stay away from each other, they failed â mainly because Evacska wasnât supposed to become Life but her mother had died giving birth today and the Personification of Destiny had crafted Evacska and Sephtis to be soulmates, on request on Evacskaâs mother.â
âThey had a child and this child has something to do with Fate, donât they?â
âYouâre correct. Forget that youâre a quick learn,â Jay hummed. âHe did. Kyrell, he became the first God, thanks to Evacska and Sephtis, and he became God of New Fate.â
âIâm guessing that Iâm supposed to get that Angel, my aunt, mother, and I all have it in us to know how to kill Azazel?â
âAll Iâm saying is that if there is someone out there who knows how to kill anyone, it would be those related to them. I said Personifications are believed to be dead.â
âKyrell isnât a Personification.â
âAtta girl! No wonder Ivy likes being friends with you. Do me a favor and tell-â
âI am not telling Hera hello for you. She doesnât like me. Visit her yourself.â You rolled your eyes, listening to Apollo snort as the phone was past back to Ivy. âIâll be going on a hunt.â
âSo you will. Let me know if you need help.â
Biding a goodbye, a sign left your lips as you turned towards Dark, your eyes glancing over his shoulder at Apollo.
âSo, who wanted you to say hello to Hera?â
âYou know the hero that went to get the Golden Fleece from that King for another King?â
âYeah.â
âThatâs who. Ivyâs uncleâŠand cousin technically.â
âWhatâs he the Sin of?â
âHomosexual relations.â
âYikes, poor Medea. Wonder how Hecate took that.â
You gave a shrug to the God before a sigh left your lips once more. As you opened your mouth to say something, the swear you made came back to you and your eyes moved to meet Darkâs who let out a soft grunt.
Youâre working on the same task, Goddess, came his answer to your unspoken question and you nodded, looking back at Apollo who raised an eyebrow.
âApollo, how far back do your history books go?â
âHow far back are you needing?â
âIf I understand correctly, Iâm going to need to go as far back as Pastros.â

Heyo!
I know, I know, I suck at posting regularly right now and I apologize. I start working and then lost even more motivation but, now, my fiancĂ© as allowed me to stay at home and focus on my writing and ze baby! Shouldnât say allow, we talked about it and we both agreed that it would be okay for me to do so.
Anyways, Iâve been working on the next part of Warrior of the Crown and Iâve come to some conclusion on the relationship that is happening. Youâll have to hit the read more to know what Iâm about to say next because itâs kind of NSFW.
As I write part 11, Iâve realized something about the relationship that is slowly brewing between the reader and Dark and that is that they are slowly becoming one of a ddlg or also known as cg/l (daddy dom x little girl/caregiver x little). Talking with friends, they helped me figure out that I am going to keep that dynamic in for them because, in the end, it does sort of fit them. I mean, after everything the reader has gone through, I think it may be expected lol

Imagine
(Darkiplier x Reader)
Imagine laying in bed, staring at the ceiling. Listening to the rain pour outside.
The pattering of rain, the beating of your heart, your breathing. That is all that is heard within your little home.
The air changes and suddenly you can hear heavy footsteps within the house.
They get closer. You shift to see who's there, the rustling of fabric is added to the noise within the house.
Standing at the doorway is Dark.
He smiles slightly at you. Hair and clothes wet from being in the downpour for a few moments before he voided over to you.
Nothing needs to be said. The mismatched eyes that stare at you says it all.
How much you mean to him.
How much he adores you.
Heavy footsteps again.
He's walking to the bed. To you.
He's looming over you now.
His gaze warm as ever as he lowers himself.
Soft lips press against yours, showing you how much of a hold you have on his heart.
You are his Queen. His goddess.
You are his everything.

Untitled (Darkiplier X Reader) Ch. 6
You watched the man going back and forth around the house, fixing things here and there but always keeping near. Itâs like he didnât want to let you out of his sight-just in case you did decide to run away...or at least try toâŠ
You knew you had to get out of there though. You needed to go home or at least somewhere that you could stay away from these freaks of nature. But he wouldnât even let you near the phone anymore-he said that you had talked to enough people to last you a lifetimeâŠ
You regretted not taking off sooner than later to say the least.
It wasnât necessarily that he was bad or mean at all-hell, he treated you like a goddess/god practically-but...something about being above another just didnât sit right with you. And being pampered like this would eventually get tiringâŠ
You just needed to get out. And hopefully this time-make it home.
You felt a hand on your shoulder and you were drawn from your thoughts. Yan was smiling lightly. âAre you alright Senpai? You seem lostâŠâ
You smiled some and nodded. âYeah, Iâm ok. Did you need something?â
He hummed some before shaking his head. âNo, I was just wondering though if you needed something.â
You blinked and shook your head, slightly confused. âNo, Iâm alright. Really.â
He pulled his hand away and rubbed his fingers a little. âWell I...I want my Senpai to be more than alright. SoâŠâ He sat next to you and placed a hand pretty high on your thigh. Wait-no- âDo you need something to...make you feel better?â
You blushed profusely as you stared into his eyes which glowed a slight red. He wasnât possibly suggesting-you and Mark hadnât even-
You laughed lightly and pulled his hand away from you. âAh ha, n-no, Iâm alright Yan. Really, really alright.â
âBut, I want to make you better than alright Senpai,â he whined some.
You stared at him and knew he wasnât going to let this go. But your heart was still for Mark and although he looked like Mark-he wasnât.
You smiled gently and took his hand. âWell Yan, there are other ways I suppose I could be better than alrightâŠâ
He tilted his head some and asked, âLike what?â
You smiled some and said, âHow about a nice movie?â
He blinked before furrowing his eyebrows some. âA...movie?â
You nodded, smiling. âYeah! Iâm sure Mark kept my favorite around here somewhere.â
âHow would that make you better though-â
âItâs my favorite movie Yan-if itâs my favorite itâs bound to make me smile and laughâŠâ He nodded slightly. You could tell he was still hesitant so you added, âAaaand, if youâre good, I could let you lay down on my lap~â
He blinked and quickly got up. âR-Really???â You nodded and he smiled widely. âO-Ok! Let me go find your favorite!!! Iâll be right back~!â
You giggled some as you watched him zoom upstairs. Although Mark loved you, you knew he didnât really have a CD of your favorite movie. But he did have the Apple TV which did have it but you guessed Yan didnât know.
Which youâd use to your advantage.
You got up quickly and went towards the front door. You knew you couldnât ever out run him on your feet and your car wasnât up their either so, youâd do the next best thing-make him think you took off.
You looked for a place to hide before quickly opening the door and leaving it cracked some so he could see it open. Then you went and hid in a discrete spot.
You waited for a while before hearing Yan coming down the stairs slowly, saying, âS-Senpai, I-I couldnât find it, could you help me l-â He paused. âS-Senpai? Senpai a-are you in the kitchen??â
He laughed some. âI-I couldâve made you popcorn silly-â He paused again. âSenpai? Senpai?!â You could hear him begin running around the house quickly, almost demonically so. Things were falling, being moved. âSENPAI? SENPAI WHERE DID YOU GO?! (Y/N)?!??â
Soon you heard him come down and you held your breath as he reached the front and saw the door unlocked. â.................â He slowly closed the door and began moving towards yodsofpudiout-
Let. Them. Go.
He yanked open the door and you could hear the car starting up and driving off quickly.
You slowly peeked from your hiding place to make sure he was really gone before taking off down the street back to your place.
*Time Skip!*
You looked around as you went into your apartment place. You didnât have to worry too many times about forgetting your key but you did hide a spare right in the-
You felt the key underneath and breathed. âThank youâŠâ you muttered as you pulled it out. You quickly went to your door and unlocked it.
When you got inside, you locked the door and breathed. When you looked at the counter, you saw your purse was there...and your phone tooâŠ
You grabbed your phone and quickly began dialing Mark. You wanted to tell him you were ok and to get the hell home before-
âCLICK-â âHello there lovely~â
You froze up as you felt something cold press against the back of your head. âWh-Who-â
âYou should end that little call of yours before asking questions~ Otherwise you might just be saying goodbye to Markimoo~â
You gulped as you heard Mark pick up and ask frantically. â(Y-Y/N)?? A-Are you ok? Are you hurt?! Hello?? Say something!â
You felt the gun press more against your head and you whimpered slightly, ending the call and placing it down on the counter again.
You heard him chuckle softly behind you. âGood kitten~ Youâll learn fast enough-â You felt the butt of the gun slam against the top of your head and you knocked out.
Youâve escaped into the hands of another.
I know it isnât ideal but I promise you this:
Youâll see me again.
After all, the Author canât keep me away forever...

Series Masterlist Read This Discord Server
A/N: Itâs been a hot minute and I do apologize. Iâm just now getting into the grove of things again while fighting not just my normal depression and anxiety but now postpartum depression as well. Thank you so much for your patience when it comes to this series or just anything I write, honestly. Oh! And if youâre on Tiktok and come across someone named MakariaBless doing videos of a Goddess named Lucette thatâs seems to have the same background history and story plot as Y/N in this, donât worry. No one stole my idea - thatâs me! Lucette is the inspiration of this series and what Y/Nâs background and personality is based off of - and someone answered the debating I was having for me and Lucette will have to different storylines on Tiktok - her original and this one. Just an fyi!
Hit my ask box if you want to be added to a tag list for this series!
âLady Y/N.â
Your nose scrunched up as you watched the servant bow before gesturing you and Dark inside.
âWhat does Lord Pierre owe to this visit?â The servant asked and you gave a soft smile.
âIâm in need of seeing Damon, actually. Is he here or has he returned to Hades?â
âHe is still here. I shall go retrieve him for you.â The servant bowed again and you scrunched your nose once more as you watched him make his way out of the throne room.
âThis must be what a throne room should look like,â Dark mused and you glanced towards him, raising an eyebrow.
âI would have thought youâve seen Luciferâs if you were the first one Ivy thought about.â
âFunny.â
âLady Y/N, is there something you need?â Damonâs voice drifted into the room and you turned your eyes on him.
âThere might be a traitor among our mists.â
âAnd you think itâs Damon,â Pierreâs voice deadpanned and you raised an eyebrow at your uncle.
âIt was me that convince them to allow Damon with you, Pierre. I do not believe itâs him. I was coming to see if he may know who the traitor is.â
âSorry, Lady Y/N, but I do not. I wasnât even aware there was another traitor among them,â Damon spoke and you nodded, glancing at Pierre who raised an eyebrow.
âWhat?â
âThereâs a good chance they know that Damon is on our side now. I would be cautious.â
âYouâre talking to a-â
â-War God, Iâm aware. You have been in the picture long before you revealed yourself as an uncle, Pierre,â you spoke. âBut, must you forget, that he does live in Hades and that he is trying to redeem himself in the eyes of said God and Charon. I will let Isabelle and Charon know for when he returns.â
âThank you, Lady Y/N,â Damon spoke up before Pierre could and your eyes drifted to him. âThey trust your judgement.â
âItâs not that they do not trust my judgement but rather, the fact that I can see just how much good is in a person and their true intentionsâŠmost of the time.â
âYou say that as if it fails you 35% of the time,â Pierre snorted. âIâve never met one person that special ability of yours has failed you.â
âYes, well, emotions can cloud anything when it comes to certain things,â you replied, glancing towards Dark before nodding at the two. âIf you discover anything, Damon.â
âOf course.â
~
âWhy are we meeting here?â Angel questioned, looking at you with furrowed eyebrows. âYou hate coming here.â
âYouâll know when everyone else is here,â you promised as you shifted on your feet.
Focus on-
Dark. I know.
Your eyes glanced towards the entity in question as he leaned against a nearby wall, his arms crossed in annoyance of Anti speaking.
âAt this point, sweetheart, it feels like we should just live at yours,â Hades spoke as he appeared alongside Bellatrix and you shook your head at the God. âAre we the last to show?â
âThat would be us,â Pierre spoke up and Hades glowered as he glanced over at him and Damon.
âWhy are they here?â
âJean-Paul should be here as well,â SĂ©bastian spoke, appearing beside you, his hands behind his back. âWhile everyone is still getting used to Pierre being part of the now Cinq, he still needs to be at meetings that require the Quatre Gods.â
âThe Quatre Gods?â Anti questioned and you glanced at him. âNew to the French Pantheon, remember? Not very well known.â
âThe Quatre Gods are simply the French versions of the Greekâs Elder Gods. The Quatre Gods, now Cinq Gods, also known as the Children of Nickolas, are Bellatrix, Jean-Paul, Thana, Eva, and now, Pierre,â SĂ©bastian recalled.
âWhy are we giving a history lesson?â Jean-Paulâs voice drifted into the room and Angel snorted.
âBecause unlike those who lived through the years, had the history lessons young, and live here, there are still those who donât know, uncle,â Angel answered, turning her head to look at him.
âTeach the history lesson another time then. I have things to do and this was declared an important emergency,â Jean-Paul waved her off before wincing, turning his head towards his wife.
âJust because I married you, doesnât mean I wonât stay by TempĂȘte de Feuâs people,â Christina scowled before her eyes drifted over everyone in the room. âY/N called the meeting, didnât she?â
âYes,â Bellatrix answered, nodding her head. âNo idea on what though.â
âPierre and Damon as well as Apollo already knows this but,â your eyes flirted over everyone, taking a deep breath, âthereâs reason to believe a traitor among our mists.â
âImpossible,â Jean-Paul exclaimed, shaking his head.
âThat witch, you called her Thandi? She clued you in on this when she possessed me, didnât she?â Ares spoke up and your eyes moved to his, an eyebrow raised. âI was with you for a few years, Y/N, I know how you think, believe it or not.â
âShe did,â you answered, nodding your head. âShe knew of Apollo being a possible lover. The only ones that even know about the Warriors are the ones in this room, Monstres, Titans, and those we are allied with outside of our realms. The only ones that knew about Apollo are Flinn, Ivy, and-â
â-the ones in this room,â Hades finished and you nodded. âAnd not even everyone in the room knew.â
âI donât know how many traitors we have. I donât know if theyâre willing associates or being blackmailed like Pierre and Damon once were. All I know is that if the traitor is among any of our people, itâs mine.â
âNow, you donât know that for sure, Y/N. We can have Maxence-â
âIâm sorry, auntie, but where else could the traitor be? Weâve only been having meetings at mine and even if weâre not having meetings, Iâm talking to Dark, Anti, SĂ©bastian, or Apollo about whatâs going on and how to go about things. Thereâs no where else they could be.â
âShe has a point,â Thana pointed out. âFamily dinners have even been held there for awhile now. If itâs not hers, where else?â
âWe should-â
âNot Maxence.â
You raised an eyebrow at the multiple people jumping to his defense before you lifted your eyes to Dark.
âTheyâre right. Itâs not him. Weâre just know getting a traitor, Maxence has been with us prior to me being born.â
âYou said it yourself, Goddess. They could be willing or blackmailed.â
âWe have protocols,â Bellatrix spoke up, looking over at the entity. âThought process is good but we have protocols for such a thing.â
âBut what if-â
âImpossible,â Jean-Paul butted in and Dark scoffed, pushing himself off the wall.
âEveryone in this room, who is the one person you all are so desperate to protect no matter what? The one person that can be held against you if you were being blackmailed?â He challenged, holding up a finger. âAside from the two buffoons over there.â
âI am a-â
â-War God. Iâm aware but alas, you cannot touch me, Pierre, and you know that.â Dark gave him a dull look before looking around the room.
âHe has a point,â Juliette spoke up.
âTime and time again, youâve prove that you would do anything to protect her. Even Ares, though a complete ass-â
âDark-â
âYeah, yeah, I know, Goddess. Even he has proven that, when it comes down to it, heâd protect her. And that is part of Maxenceâs job, is it not?â
You let out a sigh as those around you murmured to themselves and your eyes met your motherâs who raised an eyebrow.
âHave something youâd like to say, my dear?â
âNo.â
âYou know, itâs a pity that you think you can lie to your mother.â Thana sent you a grin. âOut with it.â
âNow isnât the-â
âNo, no. I think I know what this is about,â AndrĂ© spoke up and you turned your eyes to him. âYouâre not a damsel.â
âItâs not the-â
âY/N.â
Your eyes met your auntâs who raised an eyebrow back at you and you let out a sigh, moving your eyes to meet Darkâs before they dropped to the floor.
âNo, Iâm not andâŠand Iâm tired of being treated as if I am. I get that I acted like a damsel, a child, for years, to get a childhood I so desperately wanted that wasnât focused on the abuse I took on for three years, to forget the fact that my mother died in my arms at 8 years old. And I know Iâll have moments of acting like a child because of it and Iâll have moments where I remember and falls into a panic. And I know that Iâll need help in those moments but Iâm tired of subjects being tip-toed around, Iâm tired of being tip-toed around.
âIâm where I need to be. Iâve overcome what I needed too and I get that itâll take time butâŠbut Iâm tired of all the protection. And I get that itâs certain peopleâs jobs like I get that Hades feels like he took on this father role with me and that he feels that need to protect me. I get that and Iâm not saying Iâm ungrateful because I am and I will forever be grateful for what youâve done for me over the decades when I wasnât okay but I am now and if I have to have auntie touch me to prove it, I will but Iâm okay.â
You took an unsteady breath as you lifted your eyes to meet Darkâs once more before your eyes glanced around the room.
âIâm okay.â
âI wondered how long you would hold that in,â Apollo mused and you turned your eyes towards him.
~
Hearing something thud against the table before a chair was pulled out, you glanced to your left, watching as Dark sat down before your eyes went to the book in front of him.
âHowâd you find out if you didnât read it before I hid it?â You questioned, returning your eyes back to your tablet, scrolling onto the next article.
âDiscovered it while looking for you when you were avoiding me,â Dark admitted. âI just happened to turn to the page.â
âLet me know if you have any questions,â you hummed before you pursed your lip in thought. âThe Fates.â
âWhat about them?â Apolloâs voice drifted into the room and you glanced up at him, watching him raise an eyebrow. âYou two seem to be getting cozy.â
âSitting next to each other isnât âcozy,â Apollo,â you pointed out, setting your tablet down.
âIt is for you, sweetheart,â he rebutted and you rolled your eyes. âAnyways, what about the Fates?â
âMaybe not the Fates, possibly the EgyptiansâŠWait, no, Sumerian,â you spoke and Apollo furrowed his eyebrows.
âNo one has heard from the Sumerians for centuries, Y/N. We donât even know if they still exist. What is this about?â
âFlinn might. Flinn is older than all over us. Him and Aelita. The Source had asked Flinn to keep watch on the Darkness, he should know where they are.â
âAelita?â Dark questioned and you glanced at him before looking at Apollo who held the similar question in his eyes.
âAelita? SheâsâŠNever mind that. Iâm rumbling. I need to call Ivy.â
âWait, wait, what is this all about?â Apollo raised an eyebrow, stopping you as you stood from you seat.
You looked between the God and the Entity before blinking at the realization of you not saying anything.
âAngel and I are having difficulties trying to figure out a way to kill Azazel. Any of the Mesopotamians should be able to know of a way. Theyâve been around longer than any of us.â
âI forgot Ivy gave you a side mission,â Apollo mused.
âActually, Lucifer did. He wants him dead. I think Ivy just wants everything about it to disappear.â
âHow would you know that?â Apollo raised an eyebrow.
âBecause she did, you fool,â Dark muttered and Apollo winced at the reminder.
âRight.â
âIvy has a lot more to overcome than I did but sheâs not on track for it yet. Sheâll get there.â

âYouâre still up,â you voiced as you walked into the library to see Dark standing over the table, eyes on a book before they lifted to you.
âSo are you.â
âAre you surprised?â You raised an eyebrow, making your way towards the table. âYouâre reading the book?â
âYes. It seems unfair that Anti did while I did not.â
Your eyebrows furrowed at the statement, watching him for a moment.
âYou said I didnât hide it fast enough last time. I thought you read it just like Anti had.â
You watched him stop what he was doing and, as he lifted his head to look at you, your eyes catch the ring hanging from his neck. You saw him open his mouth but you didnât hear anything as you seemed to be on autopilot as you stepped closer, reaching out to grasp the necklace.
His hand clasped around yours as he stood straight and your eyes lifted to meet his.
âYou kept it.â
âYes.â
âWhy?â
âFigure it out yourself, Goddess.â
You opened your mouth to speak before the two of you were dropping your hands while the library door slammed open and you turned to look at a flustered guard.
âI apologize, milady, but there seems to be some assistance needed in the Main Hall.â
âAssistance how?â
âAres, maâam. He seems to be out of control. Lord Maxence states he is not himself. He said that you would know what that means.â
You stared at him for a moment before glancing at Dark who was quick to follow you out.
âGoddess.â
âHypatia must have opened up his mind when she had him under her spell. The Darkness has a witch, a djinn, two demons, and two vampires. Each of those creatures have the ability to take over someoneâs mind without being near. He may have to borrow one of the rings until Hekate and I can make him a necklace.â
A hand grasped your arm just before you had walked into the Main Hall and your eyes turned towards Dark.
âCan you even handle fighting against him, Goddess? Last time-â
â-was different. I had trained so much, Dark, that I can give any War God a run for their money,â you spoke. âI know what Iâm doing.â
Be careful, SĂ©bastian warned as Dark nodded, dropping his hand from your arm. Make sure-
âStay out of his line of sight, Dark,â you spoke and the entity scoffed as the two of you entered the room.
âDonât tell-â
âHe has a needle!â Maxence shouted as Ares suddenly lunged at you and you threw your hand up, watching vines wrapped around him.
âVines wonât hold him forever.â
It was Aresâ voice but it wasnât him speaking and you found yourself gritting your teeth â witch.
âThandi, release him.â
âNo, I donât think I will.â
You winced as he managed to tear himself free from the vines before dodging with barely little time.
Whatâs in the needle? SĂ©bastian voiced as you summoned your staff, catching his wrist with your other hand.
âItâs Williamâs blood, isnât it?â You voiced. âHe left his wife blood.â
âSmart girl,â the witch mused with Aresâ voice.
We need to get the needle away from him but the question is how are we-
âAnti,â you found yourself murmuring and you felt SĂ©bastianâs confusion.
He can glitch right next to us as I hold his wrist and take it with force, you explained mentally, barely moving out of the way of said needle. Can you-
On it.
âMaybe we should try injecting it-â
âYou will stay away from him,â you grunted out, slamming the butt of your staff into his stomach. Sorry, Ares. âYou will not inject it into any of them,â you added, realizing that they could have been talking about any of the three.
âFor all you know, we already did with Apollo.â
Your eyes shot to his face as realization struck.
They knew about Apollo.
Did someone betray your trust?
Or have they been watching a lot longer than anyone thought?
Someone needed to check on Apollo.
âMaxence,â you grunted, your eyes moving across the room as Anti stood beside Dark.
âI rather not leave at the moment, milady,â Maxence called out. âYou could need my help.â
âAnd Apollo could die if he has been injected with the blood. Thatâs an order!â You winced as soon as the statement left your lips but you knew you could apologize later.
Your hand grasped his wrist as Maxenceâs presence disappeared and your staff hit the ground as you gripped Aresâ other wrist as Anti forcefully pulled the needle from his hand.
âBreak it,â you grunted out before gasping as you found your back pressed against Aresâ chest, a blade to your neck.
âThat wouldnât be wise, Anti,â the witch warned.
âBreak it.â
âDoll-â
âBreak it.â You two stared at each other for a moment before your lips began to move in a quiet chant, your eyes closing shut as you heard the glass break.
âYou little-â
You found yourself tensing as a scream left Aresâ lips and he stumbled backwards, releasing you and you turned towards him.
âDonât forget, witch, I am a Goddess of Witchcraft.â
You watched as Ares blinked before looking up at you from where he kneeled and scrunched his nose.
âWhat the Hades happened?â
Go ahead, SĂ©bastian spoke and you removed the necklace from around your neck and held it out to him.
âYou need to wear this until Hekate and I can make that necklace.â
âYeah, right, princess,â Ares snorted. âLike SĂ©bastian would allow that.â
âAnd even if he didnât, I would order it. Your mind is wide open from them to enter and gain control. I rather not have to fight you again.â You winced at the groan that left him as he stood. âI apologize for that.â
Your eyes glanced towards Dark who continued to stand off to the side, watching.
âWhat happened?â Ares questioned, his eyes glancing towards the blood on the ground, surrounding the broken glass. âIs that-â
âYes. Thandi, the witch that was controlling you, tried to inject that in me,â you answered as he took the necklace with a slight grimace.
âBetter me feeling pain than me suddenly coming aware to you in pain,â he commented and you raised an eyebrow.
âYou would have come aware to Maxence standing over you. Dark and SĂ©bastian would have taken me to Hades as soon as it happened.â
âRight.â
âSĂ©bastian, can you send Maxence my way when he returns?â
âLibrary?â
âTraining room.â
~
âMeditating?â Darkâs voice drifted into the training room and you opened your eyes to look at him.
âYes. Need something, Dark?â
Silence followed your question and you met his eyes, watching as something flashed within them.
âIâm fine,â you promised and he rolled his eyes. âIâmâŠgiving you a choice, Dark,â you started and he raised an eyebrow at him. âAfter this is over, you can stay or leave. If you choose to leave, I will make it well known that you are not important to me. If you choose to stay, there areâŠcommitments.â
âCommitments,â Dark echoed, raising an eyebrow.
âI am a Warrior of the Source before I am a Goddess. Lovers of the Warriors bare the Mark of their chosen Warrior on their shoulder blade. You can read all about it in the book,â you answered as you stood. âAnd there are things with me that you might findâŠannoying.â
âI am aware of what Iâm getting myself into when it comes to you, Goddess,â he assured and you raised an eyebrow at him.
âThat doesnât mean I want you to change.â
âIâm aware.â
There was a start of a smirk on his lips as he looked at him before his eyes shifted towards the opening of the training room where Apollo stood with Maxence.
âYou wished to see me, milady?â Maxence questioned as he bowed and you scrunched your nose.
âAbout earlier-â
âI had a feeling that was what this was about,â he mused as he stood straight. âIâm very well aware that you would not have ordered me if it were a normal situation, Lady Y/N. You do not need to apologize to me.â
âYes, and you should trust me more, sweetheart,â Apollo tsked as he leaned against the doorframe and you rolled your eyes. âI have been staying away from everyone that isnât a God or within your little bubble of friends.â
âLittle bubble of friends?â
âDo I need to explain? Also, I see you and Dark have finally come to the realization-â
Apollo scrunched his nose as he raised an eyebrow at you before a loud exclaim left your lips as you pulled your hand away from his mouth.
âGross,â you scrunched your nose, wiping your hand on his shirt. âAngel would have your head.â
âAnd you haveâŠnot going to finish that sentence. Lover boy is already glaring,â Apollo snorted. âWonder how well heâs going to take to Antoine.â
âYouâre giving me a headacheâŠand do not add your snide comment,â you spoke, pointing at him and he raised his hands in surrender, a grin on his lips. âIâm going to seek Damon. We may have a traitor among our mists and he may know about it. SĂ©bastian.â
âShall I warn the others?â The Monstre appeared beside you and you nodded. âIâll start with Bellatrix then.â
âGoddess.â
Your eyes glanced back at the dark entity, watching something flash within his eyes again and a hum left your lips.
âYou coming or not, Dark?â

Family (Warrior of the Crown 8)
Pairing: Darkiplier x French Goddess!Reader
Words: 1,859
Warnings: Mentions of past suicidal thoughtsÂ
Series Masterlist
A/N: Itâs been a h o t m i n u t e and I apologize for that. Go ahead and let me know if you want to be put on a tag list because I am willing to do that. Donât know when Iâll be back on track. Also, if you havenât already, please take the time to read this. That is an update I did not that long ago (I think Sunday?). Thank you for your patience!
She wants to take away your lovers, Y/N. She plans on putting you at risk of turning to the darkness, continued to cycle through your head even after the meeting with Flinn and it has caused you to constantly space out to the point that someone who was in the room with you could scare you.
It was so bad that Dark demanded SĂ©bastian to go fetch Hades or someone. Dark, the entity that hated other Gods being around. That how you found yourself surrounded by family and you blinked when you watch something fly across the table at Jean-Louis.
âYou are such a pain,â Angel groaned as she leaned back in her seat. âYou like AndrĂ©. I donât see why you complain about him so much.â
âI do not like AndrĂ©,â Jean-Louis deadpanned. âThatâs like saying I like Dark,â he added and you perked up a bit at the mention of him.
âI think you secretly like Dark,â Juliette commented from her seat beside her twin. âI mean, I think we all do. Heâs helped Y/N more than anyone likes to admit, including the two of them.â
âHowever, he needs to learn to deal with Y/N like this,â Angel gestured towards you and you looked at her. âHow are you doing?â
âHypatia wants to take my possible lovers away,â you hesitated, shifting in your seat as your cousinsâ eyes fell on you, âand she wants to put me more at risk of turning to the darkness.â
âWe already have a plan in motion so donât worry, alright?â Angel reached over, squeezing your hand. âTrust me.â
âWhat plan?â Jean-Louis questioned, furrowing his eyebrows as you looked at him, raising an eyebrow. âDo you know this plan?â
You thought about it for a moment before shaking your head. Angel hadnât come to you about anything expect on how to kill Azazel.
âThe plan would be pointless if everyone knows,â Angel started and Juliette nodded, causing you and Jean-Louis to look at her, âThe ones part of it knows.â
âJuliette?â
âIs one of them, yes,â she nodded and Jean-Louis scrunched his nose in annoyance.
âI donât like that. Who else?â He questioned.
âAuntie, Hades, Dark, AndrĂ©, Apollo, and SĂ©bastian.â
âDark knows?â You questioned, looking at her as she nodded. âWhy does Dark know?â
âYouâll see.â
âI donât like that.â
âShe questions why Dark but not Apollo or SĂ©bastian,â Juliette snorted and you scrunched your nose. âSo, since heâs not around, we can talk about it now.â
âI rather not.â You shifted in your spot and she raised an eyebrow.
âY/N, we are here because Dark fetched us after you learned what Hypatia wants,â she pointed out.
âThat doesnât mean that anything.â
âY/N,â Jean-Louis started, placing his hand in front of you. âIâm the God of Hate and I can tell that youâre in love with the entity.â
âIt doesnât matter.â
âY/N-â
âCan we stop?â
âThe Inuitâs does have information on Seraphina,â SĂ©basitanâs voice drifted into the library and you turned your head towards him, watching as he held up a file.
âThank you.â You stood, walking towards him as you took it from him.
âYou seem better,â he commented and Angel snorted as she leaned back in her seat.
âApparently, just tease her about Dark and she seems to sober up,â Jean-Louis offered and you tensed before turning to stare at your cousin who sent you a grin.
âWhy is there someone demanding to speak to you in your throne room?â Aresâ voice drifted into the library and you scrunched your nose before shaking your head at your sisterâs annoyance. âDidnât think you could cause someone to be angry with you, princess.â
âI believe I told you to stop calling me that,â you shot, pushing passed him, fighting back a glower as footsteps followed you.
âY/N! Thank Goddess.â
Lifting your eyes to the voice, your heart dropped at the sight of blood dripping from her mouth.
âWhat happened?â You questioned, asking a servant for a chair as you approached her.
âTried calling for mother but didnât work out well. Where is she, by the way?â She questioned as your eyes lifted towards your sister who stepped into the throne room.
âEstella? How the-Donât answer that.â Angel shook her head before shifting on her feet for a moment. âShould I get Auntie Eva?â
âPlease,â Estella winced as you touched her face. âAny blood by chance?â
âSĂ©bastian.â
âOn it.â
âYou seem to be doing well,â Estella mused and you raised an eyebrow at her, tilting her head back. âShe knew who my mother was.â
âThe one who attacked you?â
âYes. She called her by Eva and not Dea. No one on Salizarâs side of the world follows Dea or the French Gods and Maverick doesnât know who would know her true name outside of those who already do,â she voiced. âShe also said something about you and someone called Dark? Who the Hell calls someone Dark?â
âLanguage,â your auntâs voice drifted into the room and Estella rolled her eyes.
âSĂ©bastian should be back with blood soon,â you told Eva, watching as she stepped forward. âWhat did she look like?â
âTan skin with what I thought were tribal tattoos, vibrate blue eyes like Beckettâs was. Thought she was a psychic at first but then her markings glowed. She could possibly be a djinn. I did catch sight of her forearm for a quick moment and I could have sworn she had a similar mark to yours, Y/N, but with-â
â-Stars.â
Turning your head, your eyes met Darkâs before returning back to Estella who scrunched her nose.
âWhy the Hell do you look like that dude Laci and Beckett watched?â She questioned and you raised an eyebrow. âThey were mortals. Theyâll do mortal things,â she waved you off before thanking SĂ©bastian as he held out a mug to her. âAnyways, how does she know?â
âItâs best to be cautious from this on out, Estella,â you spoke, rubbing your forehead. âSheâs part of the Warriors of Darkness and weâre currently having issues with them. I wasnât aware that they knew how large this family goes. Maxence, can you call father and have him warn his other children? Godsâ know we donât need more reason for them to hate us.â
~
âHow large would you say your family is, doll?â Anti questioned and you lifted your eyes to him for a moment before dropping them back to your book. âI hope that what we found out-â
âIt doesnât,â you cut him off. âAnd the main reason why my family is so large is because of my father from before my mother and after my motherâs death. He was careless when he slept around so I have a lot of half-siblings and a majority of them donât like Angel and me. That and my uncle, Jean-Paul, slept around before his wife as well so I probably have cousins that Iâm unaware of.â
âWhat about the other uncle of yours?â
âUncle Philippe? Many would avoid him. Heâs the God of Sexual Longing. His wife, Marie, was the first to actually want to be with him. I wouldnât be surprised if heâll have a kid here soon.â
âSeriously?â Anti voiced and you raised an eyebrow at him before turning your head to see Darkâs narrowed eyes. You took a moment to watch him before returning your eyes on the book. âYou have nothing to say?â
âShould I?â You questioned, glancing up at the glitching entity with a raised eyebrow. âIf the narrowing is about the Mark, itâs idiotic.â
âYou two just need to talk. Jesus Christ.â
âItâs not a good idea to use his name. He likes to listen in whenever itâs said,â you chimed and Anti stared at you.
âUnbelievable,â he muttered, crossing his arms over his chest. âJust unbelievable.â
You let out a hum before returning your eyes to the book, flipping through the pages.
âDid those Gods have information on her?â Dark questioned and you pointed towards the file on the desk. âHave you read it?â
âThe moment Estella was gone,â you answered, watching from the corner of your eyes as he walked up to the table, opening the file. âItâs interesting to say the least.â
âShe didnât participate in what the others of her kind did and she turned to the Darkness?â He questioned. âThat doesnât make any sense.â
âWell, actually, according to the book about the Warriors, the Warriors that get chosen are vastly different than a lot of their kind,â Anti offered and you lifted your head to stare at him. âDidnât hide the book fast enough from me, remember?â
âRight. Didnât think you read the whole thing,â you commented and Anti sent you a grin.
âQuick reader.â
âApparently.â
âI need to read the book,â you heard Dark mutter before looking over at him with a tilt of your head.
âHeâs not wrong,â you spoke, setting the book down as you made your way over to Dark. âWarriors are either vastly different than their kind or extremely rare. Theyâre background would be the reason why they are vastly different.â
âYou said extremely rare?â Anti questioned and you lifted your eyes to him as you nodded.
âYes. Isabelleâs kind is extremely rare. Only four have every been know to carry her blood, including her.â
âFour?â
âHer, her brother, her mother, and her father,â you answered, reaching forward to continue through the file.
âSo rare itâs kept in the family,â Anti muttered and you nodded. âHow are you and your family different from your kind?â
âIf you have to question, you havenât been around them long enough,â Dark shot and you raised an eyebrow at him. âY/N-â
â-was the Goddess of Life wanting death,â you voiced and the two entities turned to face you. âNo matter what my family tells you, I wasnât going to amount to anything with how I was before the Great War. Treated everyone equally but I couldnât shake their hands. Trained hard for years but someone raises a hand to fix my hair and I still flinched. Nightmares every night, flashbacks nearly every day. If it wasnât for the fact that I would have caused the balance to shift and nearly destroy everything, I wouldnât be here today.â
âAnd yet, you still see the Goddess you used to be,â SĂ©bastian voiced from behind you and Dark and you turned your head to look at him. âIâve finished warning the rest of your family.â
âNo doubt they had a few choice words about Angel and I.â
âQuite of few, though there were some who made comments of a visit after everything. Maybe some are coming around after all.â
âProbably the same few who donât mind us,â you hummed, reaching forward to grab your book. âI think Iâm going to see about something to eat and ambrosia.â
âYou need sleep, Y/N.â
âYes, well, there are more important things at stake, SĂ©bastian.â
From the corner of your eyes as you made your way to the door, you watched as SĂ©bastian raised his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose with his eyes close before he seemed to have given Dark a pointed look.

Stop Being a Jerk (Warrior of the Crown 4)

Series Masterlist
Your head shot up at the book that slammed against the table and your eyes met Apolloâs, his eyebrow raised while a grin played on his lips.
âWhen do you not realize Iâm here?â He questioned as he took a seat across from you and you rolled your eyes as he reached over to grab your tablet. âWhat are you reading, anyways?â
âMillie sent me an update on those who were affected by the attack,â you answered, watching as he scanned the report with a hum.
âFigure out who attacked?â
âI have a feeling,â you answered, twirling your fingers to bring the Warriors of Darkness book towards you. âPrior to the pages written about each of them, thereâs a page that tells you who the members are. Names, creature, and what theyâre mark is.â
Apollo stood, walking over to look at the book over your shoulder.
âHypatia, succubus, and Warrior of Ahriman,â Apollo read and you nodded your head. âYou think she did it?â
âSheâs also the one I seen, remember?â
âI know this goes against you wanting to learn more about them, however,â Apollo carefully leaned over you, flipping through the pages of the book before stopping at their abilities, âwe need to know, donât you think?â He turned his head to raise an eyebrow at you and you rolled your eyes as the door to the library opened.
You both lifted your eyes to the door and you found Dark standing there with gritted teeth before he turned and walked out.
âLooks like he wanted to talk to you, sweetheart,â Apollo commented as he stood. âAnd that was the worst position he could have seen us in.â
âWhat are you going on about?â
âWell, sweetheart, youâd have to see for yourself.â
You stared at Apollo as he made his way back to his seat and he sent you a smirk as he sat, leaning back against it.
âAre you truly that dense, darling?â
âDonât you have a sun to rise?â
âOuch. You need sleep.â
âAndrĂ© had that same conclusion,â Anti spoke from behind Apollo and you lifted your eyes to his. âDark was coming to speak to you. Did he not?â
âHe caught sight of a scene he didnât like,â Apollo answered and you rolled your eyes, standing from your spot.
âHe couldnât care less. He hates dealing with multiple Gods,â you answered, walking towards your desk.
âWhat scene?â Anti questioned.
âOne that made it seem like I was going to kiss Y/N,â Apollo stated, looking over his shoulder at the glitching entity.
âYikes. You going to speak to him, doll?â
You turned to stare at the two of them before you pinched the bridge of your nose with a sigh.
âIâm going to see Angel, help her with finding a way to kill Azazel.â
âNow, look whoâs run-â
Apollo snorted as you disappeared from your spot before he turned his head to look at Anti.
âIâm not reading into Dark and her wrong, am I?â
âFuck no. You should see what Dark hides around his neck. Surprised doll hadnât caught onto it yet.â
Apollo raised an eyebrow at that before realization hit him as he remembered your annoyance after everything last time.
âYouâre kidding.â
âIâm not.â
âDamn.â
~*~
âWhy canât I hate him?â You demanded as you found yourself in the familiar training room of the Sins.
âHello to you too, Y/N,â AndrĂ© spoke, amused. âAngelâs currently with said man in the other room.â
âMy love!â
You tensed for a moment as arms wrapped around you before a sigh left your lips as you turned your head.
âHello, Antoine.â
The Sin of Lust grinned at you before pressing a kiss to your check as he pulled away.
âWhy is he here?â
André shrugged at the question, sending Antoine back into training.
âBeats me.â
âHow come you can stop training and talk to my love,â Antoine whined from his spot beside ClĂ©ment who slapped him on the back of the head. âHey! My love is here, you know better!â
âKnock it off, Antoine!â Angel warned as she walked out with Dark in tow. âI swear, he is a child.â
âChildren do tend to claim people older as their boyfriend or girlfriend,â AndrĂ© offered and you snorted at that.
âExpect Antoine is around your age, making him older,â you pointed out, âbut heâs always been like that, even before becoming the Sin of Lust.â
âCome on, letâs spare.â Angel nodded towards the ring and you scrunched your nose as you looked towards it.
âI came to help to figure out how to-â
âOh, please, my love?â Antoine begged and you winced.
âIâm not even in the right-â
âI have something!â
âAntoine, Y/N is not going to wear something left by your flings!â AndrĂ© called out as you turned to stare at Angel who was holding back laughter.
âPlease tell me I still have a locker here because if what I think heâs getting is what heâs getting, I may go into a panic.â
âNo, you wonât,â Angel snorted and you shot her a glare. âCome on, I got something. Staying, Dark?â She questioned, looking over at him. âI would also be careful about your emotion. Seems like your feeding some of my Sins.â
âIâm not getting out of this, am I?â You turned towards AndrĂ© who snorted, shaking his head.
âSheâs determined to spare with you. She misses doing so, even if she doesnât admit it.â
âYou ever gonna train with us again, girly?â Sylvie questioned as you caught whatever Angel tossed at you.
âI got my hands full with Noir. Lot more challenging than I realized,â you answered, making your way to the locker room.
As you entered the locker room, a sigh left your lips and you looked towards the mirror. Shaking your head, you noticed a locker left open and a small chuckle past your lips.
Changing, you placed your clothes in the open locker before heading out, looking over to see Angel leaning against the ropes of the ring as she spoke to André.
âThis is where you trained Iâm guessing,â Dark spoke and you turned your head to look at him
âSomething like that,â you answered, tensing when Antoine wrapped his arms around you. âAntoine,â you sighed.
âYes, my love?â
âPlease, release me.â
âSorry, my love,â the Sin murmured as he backed up, giving you a soft smile before making his way to the other Sins.
âDo you just make everyone fall for you?â Dark scoffed and you sent him a glare.
âAntoine is the Sin of Lust. While you may not see him act like that with the others, that is his personality. He means no harm and claims Iâm the one who holds his heart because I want nothing from him. He also knows that nothing will happen between the two of us. And if youâre also referring to Apollo, we are just friends. Apollo is still hooked on his late boyfriend and Iâm in no mood for a relationship with Aresâ brother. Will you just stop-â
You cut yourself off, watching as he raised an eyebrow with a smirk on his lips.
âStop what? Come on, Goddess, say it. Being a dick? Prick? Asshole?â
You gritted your teeth as you started at him.
âStop being a jerk,â you spoke, watching as the smirk left his lips. âJust because you heard me curse once, doesnât mean youâll hear me say it again,â you added quietly as your sister called your name.
You spared Dark one more glance before making it towards the ring, taking the offering hand of Angel.

A/N: Welcome back to the Warrior! Not quite sure how I feel with what I did for the photos and obviously credited to whoever created the images within the collage but I had ended up using the majority of the gifs I liked with Darkiplier that there isnât many left for the series. âWhy are you going through your books again?â You questioned as you leaned your chin against the palm of your hands, your eyes on Apollo as he reached for some books.
âBecause, unlike you, I donât read everything I own,â he answered, setting the books beside you and you rolled your eyes before sitting up and grabbing them. âIâm surprise you donât have all of these.â
âGreek novels,â you pointed out, looking over at him as he snorted, shaking his head.
Apollo and you had become friends after the battle against William a couple months back. Apollo knew of being a possible lover and your aunt had informed you that the one that carried the crown had five possible lovers, not three. Apollo had been understanding about not wanting to try a relationship between the two of you but had at least wanted a friendship. You two were both getting over people.
You remembered when you discovered Apollo in his garden â his heart on his sleeve. You hadnât meant to interrupt and you hadnât known what day it was but he didnât mind. He knew why you suddenly have moments where everything you felt was on the table, broken and scattered. He had no issue telling you his.
It was interesting how alike but different your heart breaks had been. He had lost the love of his life to a jealous God and, while you didnât consider him the love of your life, you had lost someone you wanted close because of yourself.
âI forgot,â he commented and you shook your head with a slight chuckle as he helped put the books you were taking into boxes. âTwo full boxes. Shall I help you?â
âIf you donât mind,â you shrugged as you picked up a box, watching as he did the same before the two of you teleporting to your throne room â the only place one that wasnât from there could teleport too.
âYou act like doing this is such a chore for me. Making the sun rise when itâs my turn to do so is a chore, helping you is a privilege, sweetheart,â Apollo grinned and you snorted, shaking your head at the God.
Much like his father (and his brother), Apollo was naturally a flirt and had the countless lovers to prove it. Luckily, it meant nothing between the two of you.
You turned your head from him when you felt eyes on you and blinked at the dark entity that stood by what would be considered your throne.
âDark?â
You felt Apolloâs worried eyes as they shot to you but your eyes stayed on the entityâs before you, noticing the scowl deepen as Darkâs eyes turned to glare at the God beside you.
âIâm not here willing, Goddess. I was sent here by some idiotic angel,â Dark spoke and you furrowed your eyebrows.
âI donât know any angel expect the ones associated with the Hellhounds and they donât like you.â
âIvyâs angel.â
You stared at him for a moment before turning to Apollo who tilted his head to the side before nodding his head to the box he carried.
âAdd it on. Iâll place them in the library and forewarn everyone that you went out to see Ivy.â
âI owe you one,â you promised, setting the box on his and he snorted at that as he made his way towards the hall.
âBuy the next dinner,â he added before disappearing down the hall and you turned towards Dark who scowled at the retreating God.
âThink of the location you were last at,â you spoke as you advanced towards him and Dark turned back towards you, a slight nod to his head before you placed a hand on his shoulder, teleporting the two of you.
âOh, thank everything unholy,â the fallen angel sighed at the sight of you and you tilted your head at him before following his gestured towards the Sin staring out a window. âShe caught a glimpse of him.â
âSaw who?â Dark questioned and you glanced at him for a moment before walking up to the Sin, standing beside her.
âHow are you feeling?â You asked gently and you watched as she gave you a dull look. âMay I offer you some advice?â You didnât wait for her to answer as you glanced at the angel behind the two of you, worry in his eyes. âWhen going against him or seeing him, focus on something else, maybe something like Ryan.â
Ivy snorted at that, her eyes glancing towards you and you gave her a grin.
âIt works, I promise. I had to the last time around with William.â
âAnd heâs dead, isnât he?â
âShould be,â you answered with a nod before tilting your head at her scowl. âWhat is it, Ivy?â
âWhat have you been doing recently, Dark?â Ivy turned to face the entity and you furrowed your eyebrows as Ryan snorted.
âAnd sheâs back.â
âJust needed a moment,â you murmured before glancing at Dark, watching as he rolled his eyes at the Sin.
âNothing that concerns you.â
âSomeone broke into a place that isnât a place anyone should be able too,â Ivy spoke, stepping forward and, out of instinct, your hand shot out, grasping her bicep. Her eyes turned towards you and you shook your head.
âDark, have you been anywhere near Luciferâs palace?â You spoke, turning your head to look at him, your eyes noticing as he gritted his teeth for a moment as he met your eyes.
âNo, I have not. It would be a pointless attempt,â Dark answered and you nodded, turning your eyes back onto Ivy.
âNow, you said that someone got into a place where they shouldnât be able too?â
âYes and no one understands how. This idiot was the first to come to my mind,â Ivy spoke, pinching the bridge of her nose. âAnd you say William is dead so, now, I have no idea who could even be able too.â
You turned your eyes towards the window in thought and your eyes met violet. Your eyebrows furrowed before you found yourself tensing as the woman with the violet eyes smirked, her hand rising to give you a wave and your eyes landed on her forearm where a familiar mark stood out to you.
Y/N, is that who I think it is? SĂ©bastianâs voice rang through your mind as you continued to stare down the woman. Y/N?
Feeling a hand placed on your shoulder, your eyes shot to the green ones of Ivy, concern flashing through them before they looked where you were looking.
âWho is that, Y/N?â She questioned as you glanced over your shoulder at Dark who held the same emotions as he usually did.
âI hope Iâm wrong about who it is but if you can see her too, itâs not my imagination,â you spoke, turning back towards your friend who meet your gaze. âBut Iâm sure sheâs the one that broke in.â
âWho is she?â
âHypatia,â you answered, turning back to the window, thankful she was no longer seen. âThe leader of the Warriors of the Dark.â
âI thought they were dead.â Ivy glanced towards her fallen angel who shrugged before her eyes returned to you. âWhat does this mean, Y/N?â
âSomething big and deadly is going to happen,â you answered, turning back towards them, your eyes meeting Darkâs once again. âForewarn Lucifer. I donât know if weâll need help or even there will be a battle but if sheâs making herself known, then itâs only a matter of time before Iâll be faced with the rest of them.â
âSay the word and weâll be there, you know that. I get to figure out who to send the jackass angel back into the dungeon,â Ivy spoke as you scrunched your nose before looking at her.
âIf caught, I can speak to Auntie about a place in Feu dâenfer.â
âNot necessary.â She waved you off, giving you a slight smile. âI can have him placed in Flinnâs dungeon if needed.â
âRight. I shall take my leave then. Iâm just a call away if needed again but, if you take my advice, it wonât be needed.â
âYou speak from experience,â she concluded and you gave her a small smile.
âYes, itâs how I finally gotten over my past and gotten the correct mark. Iâll see you around, Ivy,â you spoke, giving her a nod before giving one to Ryan and Dark. âRyan, Dark.â
âY/N-â
You didnât wait to hear more from the dark entity as you teleported back to your throne room, exhaustion falling over you.
Iâll go tell Bellatrix and ask for her to spread word, SĂ©bastian spoke and you murmured your thanks before he disappeared from your mind.
âMy lady?â
Your eyes lifted to Maxence who held a frown on his lips with his head tilted to the side, studying you for a moment before his head bowed.
âYour books are put away and Apollo is still here as well. He mentioned Dark coming by so he offered to stay in case he was needed,â he spoke, lifting his head.
âThank you, Maxence. I need you to inform guards about an issue that is going to arise soon.â
~
Dark scowled at the spot the Goddess once stood before meeting the eyes of the Sin of Envy who raised an eyebrow.
âAnd here I thought Rafael was joking when he mentioned you become close to Y/N,â she spoke.
âWe did not get close,â he growled out and Ivy snorted at that as she turned to Ryan with a raised eyebrow.
âWas he not looking at her longingly? Or am I still dense when it comes to emotions?â Ivy questioned.
âYouâre still dense to emotions but youâre not wrong,â Ryan answered and she scowled at him for a moment before turning back to the dark entity who was growling under his breath.
âI was going to offer to teleport you but since youâre being such a dick, I donât think I will,â Ivy mused and Dark sent her a glare, causing her to smirk as she turned to Ryan. âReady to go?â
âY-â
âWait,â Dark cut him off and Ryan raised an eyebrow as Ivyâs smirk widened. âWhat do you know that I donât?â
âI know a lot, Dark. I am one of her few friends,â Ivy answered, glancing over at him. âAnd I could sense your jealousy the moment you two returned. You met Apollo, didnât you?â
Dark gritted his teeth as Ivy smirked again, glancing at Ryan before turning towards the entity who glared at her.
âI shouldnât cause more issues for the poor girl but youâre both idiotic, it seems so have fun.â Ivy lifted her hand, snapping, and Dark found himself in Y/Nâs throne room once more. His eyes glanced around before they met Maxence as he entered the throne room.
A sigh left Maxenceâs lips as he caught sight of the entity before he turned to look at SĂ©bastian who joined them and the Monstre frowned for a moment.
âShow him a room and get another ready. No doubt that once Anti catches wind that Darkâs here that heâll be joining us as well,â SĂ©bastian spoke.
âIs that a good idea, SĂ©bastian?â
SĂ©bastian turned towards Maxence with a raised eyebrow, watching as he sighed once more before nodding, heading towards the hall.
âAnd, Dark?â SĂ©bastian spoke up and Dark looked over his shoulder at him, a scowl on Darkâs lips as he did so. âMaybe speak up this time instead of just letting things happen.â

Unwanted Surprises (Warrior of the Crown Part 6)

âMy love, this is going to be fun!â Antoine exclaimed as you appeared in the training room, Dark and Anti behind you.
âI thought you werenât seeing anyone, doll?â Anti questioned and you glanced at him before tensing as arms wrapped around you. âAh, not wanted attention.â
âOf course, itâs wanted!â Antoine scowled as you looked at the Sin. âSo-Ow, ow, ow, ow! BĂ©atrice!â
âAngel and AndrĂ© both told me to keep an eye on you. Y/N is going to be doing training that is uncomfortable for her, Antoine,â BĂ©atrice warned and Antoine pouted for a moment before looking at you.
âIs that why Angel asked for my help?â
âYes,â AndrĂ© spoke up as he walked up to them. âBut weâll be taking it slowly. Teach her the movement and ability before having her try the ability.â
âBut thatâs not-â
âNo, but she passed out last time she used her ability more than once,â Angel spoke, coming to stand beside AndrĂ©. âDad and Uncle Philippe will be coming by to help too.â
âDo we want Luc?â
âWouldnât that mean Ivy would be here as well?â Angel raised an eyebrow and you shrugged.
âProbably Rath too.â
âYeah, letâs not. We donât need two hotheads in a room or our envious ones being fed,â she answered and you raised an eyebrow at her. âItâs true. Isnât it, BĂ©atrice?â She turned towards the Sin in question who lifted her head from her nails.
âMhm? Oh, yeah, jealousy is in the air alright.â
I wonder who from, SĂ©bastian spoke sarcastically and you scrunched your nose as you rolled your eyes.
âCan we just get started?â
~
âMerveille fille?â AndrĂ© questioned softly as you focused on your breathing.
Feeling someone kneel in front of you, you opened your eyes to find familiar gray eyes looking back at you â AndrĂ©.
âYou did good,â he spoke softly as you took his offering hand. âWeâll get you to the point you wonât fear it.â
âDoubt it,â you murmured as you shifted on your feet, glancing towards Dark before resting your head on AndrĂ©âs shoulder. âLibrary.â
âYou need to sleep,â Angel declared and you glanced over at her. âWhen was the last time you did so?â
You shifted on your feet as you lifted your head off André before shrugging your shoulders.
âA few weeks, maybe?â
âA few weeks or a few months?â she deadpanned and you lifted your eyes to the ceiling. âY/N! We may not require sleep like mortals but we still need sleep! Are you still having nightmares?â
Shifting on your feet some more, you brought your head down to meet the bright eyes of your sister, watching concern shift through them as she waited your response.
âYes and no?â You offered and she raised an eyebrow, watching as you ruffled your hair before your eyes glanced towards Dark who was speaking to Anti.
Angel stared at you for a moment before realization passed her eyes and she frowned, placing her hands on her hips.
âWhat did you always tell me?â
âAbout what?â
âAndrĂ©.â
You stared at her before gesturing towards the Sin.
âI was keeping both of your secrets about liking each other! I donât know what you remember me saying but I remember telling you that you wouldnât know how he felt unless you talkâŠâ You trailed off as Angel gave you a pointed look as your father chuckled beside her. âIâm too tired for this,â you sighed, your head falling back on AndrĂ©âs shoulder. âCan one of you take them back? I can probably take myself.â
âIâll talk you three back. Donât need you passing out as soon as you get there,â SĂ©bastian stated as he suddenly stood beside you and you lifted your head at him. âAnd youâll be going to bed when we get there.â
âHope for the best,â you murmured as you took the Monstreâs offered hand. âCan you still just-â
Snap.
â-okay, that was too fast,â you muttered as you find yourself stumbling against SĂ©bastian. âIâŠI think I can make it to the bedroom. Ambrosia?â
âIâll get you a glass. Anti, Dark, make sure she gets to her room,â SĂ©bastian spoke, glancing back at them as he made sure you were standing correctly.
âSĂ©bastian, Iâm fine.â
SĂ©bastian simply raised an eyebrow at you before raising his eyes towards the entities, giving them a nod as you sighed, making your way slowly down the hall.
~
Opening your eyes, you stared up at your ceiling and sighed. You sat up, stretching your back as you looked around your bedroom.
Youâre still needing sleep, Y/N. You only got a couple hours and it wasnât enough, SĂ©bastian spoke gently and you sighed softly before getting out of bed. Y/N.
I canât, SĂ©bastian, you replied, shuffling out into the hall. A yawn escaped your lips as you made your way to the library where you came to a stop outside the doors.
Lights shined through the crack and hushed voices could be heard on the other side â Anti and Dark are speaking to each other in your library.
Pushing the door open, your eyes lifted to meet Antiâs before they drifted over to Dark as they turned to look at you.
No studying, SĂ©bastian warned as you made your way over to a bookshelf, your eyes glancing over the spines of books.
âCanât sleep, doll?â Anti questioned as he made his way to stand next to you and you glanced at him before grabbing a book.
âI did, just not enough,â you answered, turning to walk towards the table.
âItâs kind of a pity that the two of you didnât work out.â
The book fell onto the table with a thud as your eyes shot to the woman that stood beside the Greek God known as your ex.
âHypatia,â the name left your lips before your eyes shifted towards Ares and you found yourself tensing at the dull look in his eyes. âHe has nothing to do with this.â Your eyes shot back to the succubus who grinned wickedly at you and you watched her eyes shifted to Dark.
Y/N, you donât have enough strength to fight her, SĂ©bastian stated as your hand clenched beside you.
âI donât see the appeal.â
You found yourself itching to throw a hand out to do something as you watched her eyes flirt across Dark before returning her eyes to yours with a smirk on her lips.
âAres,â Hypatia started, lifting her hand, âattack.â
Watching her point at you, you found yourself in disbelief as you stared at Ares. You two may have not worked out but he would never lay a hand on you or anything of that sort. Sure, maybe it was because of your families threats but he was kind. You just had different views and he was still hooked on Aphrodite, thatâs what stopped you two from working out.
âY/N!â
You felt a hand wrap around your wrist before you were tugged off to the side after Ares lunged at you.
âWhat is wrong with you?â
Your eyes lifted to meet Antiâs as he stared at you but you simply turned, raising your hand, and watched as vines wrapped themselves around Ares, keeping his arms still. You soon turned your hand towards Hypatia with the intent to throw her out the window but the wind you threw her way stopped and she tilted her head before laughter left her lips.
âNow, thatâs interesting. You were weak not that long ago, werenât you?â
You watched as she tapped her forearm before pointing at you and you furrowed your eyebrows before your eyes landed on your glowing mark.
âYou were clever to make him a necklace as well. Might want to make Ares one,â Hypatia smirked at you once last time before snapping her fingers, disappearing from sight.
Your eyes glanced towards Dark, noticing the narrowing eyes at Anti before you turned, wincing at the sight of Ares apologetic eyes. You let out a sigh as you lifted your hands to your temple, willing the plants to drift away from the God.
âY/N-â
âPlease, donât. I already have a headache. Iâm out of necklaces currently so youâll have to stay here for a bit. SĂ©bastian can show you one of the spare rooms and Iâll inform Maxence that you are here so that he can cater to you as well.â
âShould I contact the others for a meeting as well, niece?â SĂ©bastian questioned as he stood beside you and you glanced at him.
âTomorrow. I need to eat and then Iâm going back to bed.â
~
I hope you realize that if she has to choose, sheâll choose you.
Dark scoffed at the statement before he lifted his eyes to see Anti staring at him and he narrowed his eyes.
âDude, she doesnât like me like that,â Anti deadpanned, crossing his arms. âItâs much like the thing with Apollo. Weâre friends.â
âIt better stay that way,â Dark spoke before lifting his eyes to meet blue and an annoyed look came across his face at the sight of the God of War.
âLike I want to be here either, buddy,â Ares deadpanned, rolling his eyes. âI was looking for Y/N and either sheâs avoiding you two or sheâs still sleeping.â
âMy bets on avoiding. She avoided Dark for days after you showed up here last,â Anti shrugged. âBut she did do training that required the use of abilities she doesnât use so I wouldnât be surprised if sheâs still sleeping.â
âNot sleeping. What do you need, Ares?â Your voice drifted into the room and Darkâs eyes shifted over to you, watching as you made your way to your desk.
âHow long is a bit? I have duties to attend too.â
âYour father will be here today. Speak to him about your duties. At the moment, the length of your stay depends on when Hades can find more of the stone Hecate and I need to make the necklaces,â you answered, pulling out a book from the drawer. âNow, excuse me, I have some things to figure out before the meeting with the others.â Your eyes met Darkâs shortly before you made your way out the door.
Follow her and talk to her.
Dark scrunched his nose at the command, watching your retreating form for a moment before pushing pass Ares who scoffed at the contact.
âGoddess.â
He watched her heave a sigh before she turned to face him, raising an eyebrow at him and he mentally scowled at the Monstre he had listened too. He should have planned before following through â like he usually does.
Offer help, idiot.
âShouldnât be doing it on your own, Goddess. Are you sure youâre able to retain everything in your state?â
You donât have to be so insulting. Sheâs just going to tell you no with those words, SĂ©bastian scoffed and Dark fought the urge to roll his eyes as he watched you shake your head, a start of a smile pulling on your lips.
âGrab the Warriors of the Darkness, will you? Iâll be in the dinning room,â you answered and Dark nodded his head as he heard SĂ©bastian gape at the response.
How the Feu de l'enfer did you do that?
A smirk found his lips as he turned to make his way back into the library to grab said book.

âOh, did you-â
âNo,â you cut Angel off, shaking your head as you glanced over your shoulder at the two entities standing behind you. âRyan sent him to fetch me because of Ivy and Ivy apparently decided to teleport him here and heâs refusing to leave.â
âCould it be-â
âCan we not?â You questioned, lifting your eyes to your cousin who pouted for a moment before giving you a small smile as she nodded.
âOnly if we can later,â she challenged and you scrunched up your nose before a sigh left your lips, nodding. âGood.â
âMoving on,â Bellatrix stated, glancing her daughterâs way before her eyes looked at you. âWhat are we here for, love?â
âIvy visited with word from both Lucifer and Flinn,â you answered. âLucifer gave me a book for research and asked if we find a way to kill Azazel, to do so. Iâll leave that for Angel, however.â
âIâll need your help though, sis,â Angel snorted and you waved her off.
âIâm aware.â
âAnd Flinn?â Hades raised an eyebrow.
âA warning. Warriors of the Dark mean harm and, apparently, theyâre the only ones that can either kill us or corrupt us. Theyâll want to come face to face with us alone, but Ivy suggested that we have backup, have them wait in the wing, and offered her army, Luciferâs, and the Hellhoundsâ,â you answered.
âAnd, of course, we have our armies,â Makaria added and you nodded.
âAnything else, Y/N?â Bellatrix questioned and you shook your head.
âWhat about that advice, doll?â Anti mused and you tensed before throwing a glare over your shoulder. âWhen did you become as hostile as Dark?â He snorted.
âShe hasnât been sleeping,â AndrĂ© concluded, staring at you. âYou havenât been like that since before the kidnapping.â
âI thought weâve already established that Iâve changed since the Great War,â you deadpanned, rubbing your forehead.
âWhat advice, Y/N?â Hades spoke up and you looked at him. âY/N.â
âFlinn said it would be best to figure out the lover situation, but issues arise at going to figure that out,â you answered. âAnd I still have a few options still out there.â
âYou have two more,â Jean-Louis deadpanned.
âAnd if you find those other two, even more issues arise because you know just as well as we do that unless you choose one instantly, the five of them would have to battle each other until one is left alive and then the one who lives is your lover. You panicked when you realized Apollo was one and thought you only had three. You panicked because of-â
âVance. Iâm aware,â you sighed, shaking your head at your sister as AndrĂ© whistled with a slight grin. âWhat, AndrĂ©?â
âI think BĂ©atrice and Ivy would have a field day when Apollo is mentioned,â he answered and you shot him a weird look, watching as he shrugged with a grin. âJust saying.â
âWhy are we friends again?â
âOuch, that hurts. Iâve been your best friend the longest. Jeez.â
You rolled your eyes before rubbing your forehead again.
Maybe if you would just talk to him, SĂ©bastian suggested.
I rather not.
There was a sigh in the back of your head as you looked at the rest of the Warriors before turning, walking past the two entities.
âLady Y/N, something is in need of your attention,â Maxence voiced as you reached the doorway of the hall and you turned to face him. âApparently, something is wrong with the hospital.â
âWhich one?â You questioned and you watched as Maxence shifted on his feet. âWhat happened?â
âSomeone attacked it. Only staff have been harmed and only some. They were quick to jump in front of their patients, so no children were harmed,â Maxence answered, watching as you turned once more. âShould I reschedule your other appointments, milady?â
âPlease, Maxence. Make sure they understand why itâs rescheduled as well. Are you coming along?â
âOnly if you wish.â
You glanced over your shoulder, your eyes catching Darkâs before you turned, heading towards your room. You needed to change into your professional clothes.
~*~
âWhy are you two tagging along again?â You questioned as you looked at Anti. âIâm capable of handling this sort on my own and I doubt any of you have a background in city keeping.â
âActually, I do, Goddess. I was a mayor before this,â Dark spoke and you glanced towards him before moving your eyes to the hospital as someone stepped out the doors.
âLady Y/N,â the President of the hospital greeted, watching as you walked up the stairs. âNormally, I do not wish to bug you but, as Iâm sure you heard-â
âYes,â you nodded. âHow many staff were harmed, may I ask?â
â20, maâam. They were all with patients when the hospital was attacked. I donât get why anyone would wish to attack a childrenâs hospital or any hospital at that.â
âI have no idea. Where are they?â
âThe attack was...interesting,â Millie spoke and you glanced at her. âWeâve had to place each of them in separate rooms and strap them into the bed so they wouldnât...jump on those who went in to treat them.â
âJump on?â You asked, raising an eyebrow as you watched her shift in her spot. âMillie?â
âJump on is another way of saying starting sex, Goddess,â Dark deadpanned and you threw a glare over your shoulder before returning your gaze to Millie.
âLet me see one of them, please. I may be able to figure something out.â
âYes, of course. This way, milady.â Millie turned, walking down a hall and you followed with the other two in toe. âDr. Lynx is the calmest of them. We thought possibly because of being a Demigod but weâre no longer sure. Who knows what would happen if it was the children that took the hit?â
âWhoever it was counting on the staff to jump in front of the children,â you spoke, stepping up to the window. âAnd it isnât the God in him keeping it mellow. Itâs the incubus in him. SĂ©bastian.â
âWho is it that you are wishing for me to fetch? Angel and AndrĂ©?â SĂ©bastian questioned as you turned towards him.
âNo, well, yes. I need Angel, Uncle Philippe, and dad.â
âThe Sex Twins?â Millie questioned and you winced at the use of the word. âMilady, is that wise?â
âYes.â You casted your eyes to her before turning to SĂ©bastian with a nod. âQuickly. If we donât get it out of their systems soon, they may die.â
âLady Y/N, do you know what attacked the hospital?â Millie asked as you looked up towards the ceiling. âAnd wouldnât it be wiser for Healing Gods to be coming instead of a Death God and two sex Gods?â
âA succubus attacked the hospital, Millie,â you answered, turning your head towards her. âItâs wiser to bring in those that have sex-like abilities so that we can remove what has been planted.â
âThought you hated those abilities, doll?â Anti raised an eyebrow over at you as you sighed.
âIâll use them for the greater good, Anti.â
âPanic free?â
You lifted your eyes to his before turning to face the Gods that entered the area, your eyes glancing towards Dark.
âSĂ©bastian gave a quick version of it and I have to say, Iâm not stupid enough to chea-â
âWeâre not having sex with the staff,â you deadpanned before wincing softly at the stares from the twins. âWeâre able to remove the issue, dad. It was a succubusâ doing after all.â
âAre you sure you want to be a part of this, sis?â Angel asked as she tilted her head to the side. âThe side effect of doing this is, for a moment, you feel what they feel. It might cause panic. I can call-â
âDr. Lynx is half incubus, Angel. After heâs cured of it, he can take my place.â You gave her a soft smile. âI know better.â
âI want-â
âYeah, yeah,â you murmured, turning towards the room. You found yourself taking a deep breath as you glanced inside the room.
âWhat did she want, doll?â Anti questioned and you looked over your shoulder at him before glancing at Dark.
âHim in the room with me.â
I wonder why.
Your nose scrunched at your uncleâs sarcastic comment as you watched confusion pass through Darkâs eyes before you turned, walking into the room.
âDr. Lynx, whatâs your focus right now?â You asked, watching as he turned his head towards you.
âI believe the question youâre asking is how conscious I am right now, milady,â he answered. âIt comes and goes. I would have thought I wouldnât be effected by something like this.â
âSadly, she isnât your normal everyday succubus,â you spoke as you walked towards the bed, your eyes glancing over your shoulder, seeing Dark lean against the doorway.
âIs he going to remove it?â Lynx questioned and you smiled gently at him. âI would have thought differently with you, milady. I can...tell youâre hesitate to do so.â
âThe idea is I remove it from you and youâll help my sister, father, and uncle.â
You watched as the doctor gave you a nod before you watched his eyes glaze over and your nose scrunched as his unwanted desire hit the room. Normally, you would never feel the desire but in order to remove it, you had to dive into the abilities you rarely yield.
Feeling no need to warn him as you watched him struggle against the straps, you reached out, touching his arm.
Focus on Dark, Y/N, SĂ©bastian warned as you took a deep breath. However, you found it was hard to do so until Dark stood on the other side of the bed and you lifted your eyes to him.
How did he-
Now isnât the time to question, Y/N.
Taking another deep breath, you kept your eyes on Dark for a moment before you closed your eyes.
Closing your eyes isnât-
âI didnât think I had to encourage you, Goddess,â Dark spoke and you resisted the urge to roll your eyes as you focused on the desire in Lynxâs body. âSurprised you even dared to try this with your history. Truly are a foolish Goddess.â
How does he know-
Now isnât the time to question, SĂ©bastian.
A quiet gasp left your lips before you pulled your hand away, opening your eyes to stare at Lynx who looked at you.
âMilady, are you okay?â He questioned, watching as you fumbled with the straps on his wrist and you nodded curtly, hearing SĂ©bastian disappointment in the back of your head.
âPlease, go help Angel and them,â you murmured before turning, walking out the doors. You gave a quick nod to those you passed before scurrying out of the hospital.
~*~
Dark followed you out of the room before stopping with pursed lips beside Anti who glanced over at him.
âWhat did you do now?â
âI didnât do anything, genius,â Dark deadpanned, bringing a hand up to pinch his nose. âNo doubt, she found herself back in whatever she was held in.â
She went to the River.
Dark froze at the voice, his eyes moving around the hall in question as to where his voice could be coming from.
You still have the ring around your neck, Dark. Apparently, itâs allowing me to communicate with you the same way I do with Y/N. Now, donât be an idiot like before and go to the river. Iâll lead you there.
Dark pursed his lips before listening to the Monstre without giving Anti a passing phrase.
âThis is idiotic,â Dark murmured under his breath as he passed by the people within the city. âHow do I know this is truly you, SĂ©bastian?â
He kept his words quiet, preferring strangers keep to themselves that pay mind to him.
You still hold my original so-called home around your neck, something you got because of the plan you hated so much. Also, I can name the book you were reading to her prior to Ares that night.
He didnât speak and the voice inside of his head seem to know what he was waiting on.
Words of a Parvulus written by Jade Darrow. Sheâs up ahead.
Dark lifted his eyes, catching your H/C hair as your back was turned to him. He stopped a few feet away from you, against most of your peopleâs agreement.
He studied you for a moment, noticing the way you were holding yourself, how your arms wrapped around yourself as you stared at the moving water, the breeze barely moving your hair.
âSheâs belle, oui?â
His eyes turned to the man who stood beside him.
âPity no one can interest her. Lady Y/N has had bad luck with men. Iâm surprised she hasnât taken an interest in women yet. Women havenât done her wrong yet.â
âShe sees the good in everyone,â Dark spoke, turning his eyes back to you. âShe may be cautious, but she comes around.â
âI havenât seen you around here before. New to Noir?â
Dark barely spared him a glance as he made his way to you, standing beside you, adjusting the cuffs of his sleeves.
âDonât expect comfort from me, Goddess,â Dark spoke and a small laugh left your lips as you shook your head.
âI donât expect a lot from you anyways, Dark.â
A small smirk found Darkâs lips at that as the two of you stood there, watching the current of the River move and enjoying the quiet.
At that moment, you were grateful that he was pretending to care as Dark realized that he needed to work on being gentle for moments like this between the two of you.

Family Dinner (Warrior of the Crown 5)

âThis is new, doll,â Anti spoke and your eyes glanced towards the glitching entity before grunting as you kicked the torso training bag.
âNew how?â
âWhen does someone ever find you here? Without no one?â He questioned and a snort left your lips as you came to a stop, making your way over to a nearby bench.
âNot new, Anti,â you answered, taking a sip of the water. âWhat do you need?â You questioned, looking over at him.
âDarkâs looking for you.â
âGood for him.â
âYou have changed a lot since weâve met and yet, that innocent look is still there,â he commented, crossing his arms and you shook your head. âI donât think Iâve taken the time to notice your scars.â
âLady Y/N, your mother called asking about tonight?â Maxence questioned and a wince came to your lips. âShall I pull your monthly no?â
âNo. Anti and Dark can stay-â
âSheâs insisting we have it here if you are coming,â he interrupted and you scrunched up your nose. âYour sister must have said something.â
âMost likely,â you sighed. âItâs close to time, isnât it?â
âYes. No doubt they will start showing the moment I tell her and I believe this is the dinner Lord Apollo said he was going too.â
âIf thatâs the case, the outside table, please. Iâm in need of a shower and a change of clothes. Anti, forewarn Dark,â you spoke, glancing over at him before following Maxence out. âMaybe no chairs at the edge of the table unless itâs a must.â
âBut, milady-â
âPlease, Maxence.â
Maxence watched you for a moment before bowing in respect and you scrunched your nose, waving him off.
âYou and your traditions.â
âYou and breaking them,â he replied back with a grin and you shook your head, turning to walk down the hall only to stop at the sight of Dark.
âGoddess.â
âNow isnât the time, Dark. Itâs Wednesday. I have to shower and get ready for dinner. Mother is also insisting itâs here.â
You found yourself dreading the dinner. You had a feeling that youâll spend a majority of the night trying to steer the conversations away from you and Dark.
Walking past the dark entity, you heard a few mutters under his breath as you made your way to your bedroom. Shaking your head as you stepped into your bathroom, you turned your head to look at the mirror before scrunching your nose.
You walk with confidence, yet you still see the girl you used to be in the mirror, SĂ©bastian spoke and you sighed softly.
âNot now, uncle.â
~
Coming to a stop outside, you raised an eyebrow over at Maxence who bowed before making his way over to you.
âYour mother insisting.â
âRight, I didnât take her into consideration when requesting that,â you sighed, thanking him, before you made your way over to your seat.
âMiss me, sweetheart?â Apollo grinned as he sat beside you and you rolled your eyes, thanking the servant that poured you wine before you brought the glass to your lips. âHere, I thought your entity wasnât joining us.â
âHe is not my entity. Will you knock it off? I do not need more people on me about it,â you sighed as your eyes glanced at the dark entity in question.
âDark, Anti, nice of you to join us,â Thana spoke, grinning at the two. âItâs nice to know that-â
âActually, Thana, your daughter is being stubborn about that,â Apollo spoke up and Thana grinned.
âIâm aware, Apollo.â
You ignored the two as you watched Dark take the seat across from you, making conversation with Anti before his eyes turned towards you.
âY/N, how is researching coming along?â Bellatrix questioned and you turned your eyes on her.
âResearch on what? I thought we were done dealing with William,â Jean-Paul deadpanned and you shifted in your seat.
âWarriors of the Darkness,â you answered and his eyes turned towards you. âI caught sight of their leader when I traveled to Hell to help Ivy withâŠsomething. Sheâs also the one that attacked one of my hospitals.â
âShe is?â Thomas questioned, looking over at you. âThat was some powerful magic for-â
âSheâs a succubus,â you explained. âAnd her ability to do that only grew once she became a Warrior. I found that she was married but itâs hard to tell if her partner is still around or if her partner is under her spell. She also has this ability where-â
âDoes she have violet eyes?â Damon spoke up suddenly and you glanced over at him. âViolet eyes with red hair? Has this weird tattoo on her forearm?â
âIf by weird tattoo, you mean Ahriman, yes,â you answered, furrowing your eyebrows. âHow do you know this?â
âSheâŠshe hung around William, claiming to be her wife,â he answered, glancing towards Pierre before looking back at you.
You furrowed your eyebrows as you shuffled through information within your head before blinking.
âWilliam always manages to come back every ten years. Thatâs how he does it. Monique doesnât bring him back. Hypatia does. She can bring back one person every decade but why is she making herself known now? Williamâs been gone for a few months. Thereâs no way she could bring him back now unlessâŠâ
âUnless what?â Apollo questioned as your eyes lifted to Darkâs for a moment before turning to look at him. âWhat, Y/N?â
âUnless she gains control of one of my possible lovers. I need to call Jackie,â you sighed, rubbing your forehead. âI have charms to make and Iâll need your help, dad. And probably you too, Uncle Philippe and Angel. Maybe also Antoine, Juliette, and Luc.â
âHow many are you going to make?â Hades questioned and you lifted your eyes to his before you let out a sigh. âShould I ask Hecate to come and help?â
âThatâll be helpfully. Sheâs dangerous and can infect a God. She infected a demigod and itâs because of his incubus blood that he wasnât as under as the others. Angel can make sure AndrĂ© is under her spell and I can make sure someone â either Anti, Dark, or Apollo â is as well,â you spoke and Angel sat forward, looking over at her.
âThen we need to start training you to start using it. Last time you full on used our fatherâs power, you passed out,â Angel spoke and you lifted your eyes to hers. âAnd unless sheâs been watching, she would have no clue that Apollo is one. Dark is going to have to be the one to do that withâŠI think I might have a course of action to use when itâs time.â
âCan we name you Goddess of Battle Strategies?â Christina snorted as she shook her head. âBe careful, thatâs all I ask of you, Y/N. I might not be around like I used to be but I still worry.â
âI think she can handle herself well,â Eva spoke up as she glanced towards you. âI mean, look how she holds herself now compared to a year ago and then compared that to before the Great War. Sheâs come a long way to have that crown on her forearm.â
When all eyes fell on you, you shifted in your seat before you met their eyes. As your eyes landed on Darkâs, you watched an emotion flash through them before he was huffing and crossing his arms as he looked away.
~
âCould you make them less girly?â Apollo questioned and you stared at him. âWhat? Just a question.â
âItâs a crystal that Hecate and I barely have any of. Hades has to go on a hunt to find them. Be happy youâre one of the first to receive one,â you deadpanned, dropping it in his hand.
âTo receive what, doll?â Anti questioned and you glanced over at him, noticing Dark behind him before you lifted a necklace at him. âWhatâs that?â
âYour charm,â you answered as he took it. âDark, do you want one or not?â
âYour sister-â
âIâm giving you the option of whether or not you want to do that.â
âWhereâs Vanceâs?â Apollo questioned as he looked down at the remaining necklaces â two.
âHades was taking it over,â you spoke, lifting one towards Dark. âYes or no?â
âNo, foolish Goddess,â Dark deadpanned and you shrugged, setting the necklace down. âWhat about you?â
âY/N? Please, the one ability she does use from her father is seduction immunity,â Apollo snorted and you rolled your eyes.
âWarriors of the Source arenât affected by something like that,â you pointed out. âAnything of that nature doesnât affected us so something like mind control of seduction doesnât work when it comes to Warriors of the Darkness using them against us.â
âBut everyone else?â Anti raised an eyebrow at that.
âDepends on the someone. The source didnât want to risk us becoming mad with power so certain things had been reduced after the Warriors of the Darkness happened,â you answered.
âI gotta head out. Let me know how training goes, alright?â Apollo pressed a kiss to your temple and you raised an eyebrow. âIâm aware, stay away from the woman with violet eyes and red hair. Donât need to remind me.â
âGood. Tell Hyacinth I said hello?â
âHe would have liked you,â Apollo hummed. âWill do. Bye, Dark, Anti.â With that, Apollo disappeared from sight and you marked the page of your shadow book before turning pages.
âHyacinth?â Anti was the first to question and you glanced up at him before nodding your head.
âHe was Apolloâs lover. He was also admired by Zephyrus, the God of the West Wind. Itâs believed he had gotten jealous that Hyacinth had chosen Apollo over him so he had made a discus fly into him while Apollo and Hyacinth was throwing it and it had killed him,â you answered and Anti hummed.
âThatâs why Apolloâs so-called advances doesnât shock you.â
âHeâs a flirt like his father and heâs a good friend. AndrĂ© acts similar,â you shrugged as you closed your shadow book. Your eyes locking with Darkâs as you looked up and you furrowed your eyebrows at the distant look in his eyes that was similar to when Isabelle was talking to Moon or when you were talking to SĂ©bastian.
Shaking your head, you moved towards your desk, placing the shadow book there before going to grab the necklaces.
You glanced back at the two as their voices began to fill the room and you took a deep breath.
Training is going to suck.

Meetings (Warrior of the Crown 7)
Pairing: Darkiplier x French Goddess!Reader
Words: 1,354

Series Masterlist
A/N: This one is a little shorter than the other ones but I got to a certain part and didnât feel the need to continue from there so, yeah. Jade Darrow
âSo, cousin dear, why have you called upon us?â Jean-Louis spoke sarcastically and you glanced over at him before shifting on your feet. âAlso, why is asâŠAres here?â
âY/N?â Bellatrix raised an eyebrow at you and you lifted your eyes to her. âWhatâs going on?â
âHypatia showed up last night,â you started, ruffling your hair, âand Ares was under her control so heâll need a necklace too, which is why heâs here.â
âBut thatâs not all, is it?â Hades spoke and you shook your head. âWhat else, sweetheart?â
âI think we may have mistaken who we thought the Warriors of the Past were referring too,â you answered, your eyes shifted towards the entities in question.
Dark had an annoyed look across his face as he stood there, his arms crossed as he watched you.
Anti looked uncomfortable standing next to Dark, glancing between him and you.
âWhat do you mean?â Iris questioned as Bellatrix furrowed her eyebrows at the statement and Angel looked towards the entities.
âWhen I fainted that time during training, the Warriors of the Past spoke to me and told me that I had a possible lover closer to age and training beside me, someone I least expected,â you explained. âWe thought it was Dark because of that other training incident.â
âIf it wasnât Dark, who?â Emma tilted her head at you and you shifted on your feet as you looked towards her.
âWe discovered last night when Hypatia had Ares attacked me. I was still weak at the time so my reflexes were slow andâŠAnti pulled me away in time,â you answered.
âAnd you keep ignoring anything dealing with feelings for Dark,â Juliette snorted and you gave your cousin a dull look. âY/N, if Dark wasnât the one they were referring too, that means you fell in love with him.â She raised an eyebrow at you as you stared at her, ignoring the snort that came from SĂ©bastian.
âWeâre not discussing this.â
âActually, we are,â Makaria pointed out and you gave her a dull look. âItâs the reason you called us here, actually.â
âSheâs not wrong,â Jackie shrugged.
âItâs obvious who youâd choose if you had too,â Isabelle butted in and you let out a sigh, rubbing your forehead.
âIâm going to continue studying,â you muttered, turning to walk towards the dining room before you were narrowing your eyes at Apollo who had a grin on his face. âDonât.â
âI donât know what youâre talking about. I didnât say anything.â
âYou thought it.â
âSo, maybe I did. Hello, Dark.â
You glanced behind you at the glowering entity before raising an eyebrow at Apollo who fell into step with you.
âSo, what are we studying today?â
âYouâre a pain.â
Apollo grinned at that, his eyes moving to the table filled with books before they returned to you, raising an eyebrow.
âAvoiding the library again? Makes sense. My brother is here. Letâs pray Aphrodite doesnât show or weâll have more trouble,â he voiced and you rolled your eyes, watching as Dark resumed his spot from earlier.
âAphrodite showing is the least of my concerns,â you said, moving towards the table. âYouâre a distraction so your help isnât needed.â
âOh, Iâm the distraction?â Apollo raised his eyebrows in the direction of Dark and a scowl found your lips.
âYes, because all you do is talk,â Dark deadpanned, his eyes glancing up at him.
âAnd yet, itâs ironic when itâs you sheâs in love with.â
âApollo,â you scowled and a smirk came across Apolloâs lips as he returned his gaze on you.
âJust proving my point, sweetheart.â
âFlirting with a brotherâs ex, are we now, Apollo?â
You flew your hands up before they rested on your temple, pressing down ever-so-slightly, closing your eyes.
You regretted closing your eyes, however. Your senses, trained to pick up the littlest of noises in case you lost your sight, had the bickering between Apollo and Ares louder than what it was and it was worsen your headache â why were you getting those so often all of a sudden? From the use of the abilities maybe?
âGoddess.â
Hearing his deep voice, your eyes opened, looking towards him as he gestured you over to him. Allowing your feet to move, you soon found yourself close to him.
âDonât touch but look.â
Eyes falling where he was pointing on the page, your eyes soon glided over the sentence, furrowing your eyebrows.
âAn Ijiraq was one of the hardest to turn to the darkness? I can see why a Djinn might but an Ijiraq?â You voiced, your eyes lifting to Darkâs. âIjirait are shapeshifters that would kidnap children, hide them, and abandon them. Djinns can be responsible for misfortune, possession, and diseases but they can also be supportive and benevolent sometimes.â
âYou are well versed,â Dark commented and you gave him a dull look before it fell at the slight tug on his lips.
âI need to have Auntie try to get a hold of the Inuitâs Gods, see if they know of a Seraphina,â you spoke, leaning over the table to look at the book. âSĂ©bastian.â
âIâm being graced with the mission?â SĂ©bastian raised an eyebrow and you lifted your eyes to him. âRight, one of two that you trust to deliver so and one can barely leave your palace.â
âHeâs allowed to do as he pleases. He chosen not to.â
âWho would choose to leave you?â He smirked at you and you rolled your eyes. âI shall be back with news?â
âPlease.â
~
âYou know, prince-â
âDonât even finish that sentence,â you chirped in, shifting through paperwork. âYou no longer can call me that.â
âStill upset about-â
âMust I remind you, I broke up with you, Ares.â Lifting your eyes, you met his blue ones, watching annoyance flash through them. âPlease, leave me to work. Unlike some people, I have a city to maintain on top of everything else I do. I donât have time for your chitchat.â
âAlways hated you in this attire.â
You waved him off, your eyes dropping to your tablet of a reminder of a meeting with someone in a few minutes. Standing, you made your way out the door, stopping at a chest coming into view before lifting your eyes to meet Darkâs.
âAre you needing something? I have a meeting to get to.â
âBusiness meeting?â Dark raised an eyebrow at you and you let out a soft sigh.
âI donât know. Excuse me.â
âIâm curious to see how you work.â
Your eyes glanced back at him, noticing he was following you, and scrunched up your nose before entering the throne room.
âWhat are you doing here?â Dark deadpanned and you lifted your head, meeting green eyes that held a wicked glint.
âI can come and goes as I please. I am one of her best friends after all,â Ivy replied with a wicked smirk. âAnyways, Flinn has business to speak to you about, Y/N.â
Raising your eyes to the King of Sins, you watched as respect flash through his eyes before nodding his head with a smirk.
âNice to officially meet you, Y/N. I can see why the Source choose you as the Warrior of the Crown,â Flinn commented, his eyes flirting over to Dark, and a hum left his lips. âThe Source works wonders, didnât it?â
âWhat are you wishing to speak to me about?â You questioned as his eyes turned to yours.
âThey could be stronger than what we think,â he started, âAs you know, I speak to the Source directly and I was to keep an eye on them but theyâve stayed under the radar until now. Thereâs a chance theyâve been training for this moment. A good chance since it was only recently that the Warriors were where they needed to be.â
âThereâs also a good chance sheâll be trying to get her husband back.â
âNo, Y/N,â Flinn spoke and you lifted your eyes to his, watching as he took a deep breath. âSheâs wanting revenge.â
âAnd weâll be ready.â
âShe wants to take away your lovers, Y/N. She plans on putting you at risk of turning to the darkness.â

âDonât lie to me. I know you were hoping for something different,â Apollo spoke, pointing a finger at you and you rolled your eyes. âIâve gotten to know you over these past few months, Y/N.â
âJust because I was hoping for something different doesnât mean I was hoping he was lying, Apollo,â you deadpanned. âNot many people know that Ivy is with a fallen angel, so I knew he wasnât lying.â
âYou should have-â
âDo not turn into Juliette and Angel,â you scowled and his eyebrows raised.
âAngel has joined Juliette? I thought she disliked him greatly.â
âShe does.â
âThen why?â
âBecause of how differently Y/N began to act after coming into contact with him,â SĂ©bastian spoke from the doorway and you turned your head to look at him. âHowever, it seems Ivy decided to teleport the entity here and he is refusing to leave.â
âRefusing to leave or you refusing to take him?â You challenged and SĂ©bastian rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms.
âSo, what if I did refuse? He can be of help.â
You stared at him for a moment before gesturing towards Apollo who glanced between the two of you.
âWhy am I being gestured for? Why did I just get thrown into? What donât I know?â Apollo questioned and SĂ©bastian snorted, raising an eyebrow at you.
âI may or may not have meet eyes with the leader of Warriors of the Dark and so there may or may not be a battle coming up again?â You offered and Apollo stared at you before shaking his head.
âWho knows?â
âI told Bellatrix. News travels fast after that since Y/N is the only one that doesnât show there often like the rest,â SĂ©bastian answered. âHades was there as well.â
âAnd Ivy knows. Told her to forewarn Lucifer,â you added before scrunching up your nose. âWhere did I place that book?â
âThe Warriors of the Dark book?â Apollo questioned and you nodded. âItâs in your desk.â
âDo you ever leave?â A familiar annoyed voice drifted into the room and your head turned to meet his eyes.
âYouâre right. He doesnât care that youâre a God,â Apollo mused. âNo wonder everyone dislikes him.â
âExpect you, apparently,â Dark deadpanned and Apollo grinned at him.
âI know plenty of stories, bud.â
âApollo!â You turned on your feet to scowl at the God who shrugged in response, a grin on his lips.
âSorry, sweetheart.â
âGods, youâre just as bad as Hades is with his cursing,â you sighed, rubbing your forehead for a moment before heading towards your desk. âSĂ©bastian will take you home, Dark.â
With your back towards them, you missed the look SĂ©bastian gave Dark, the smirk on Apolloâs lips, and Darkâs annoyed face.
âYou need me, Goddess,â he spoke up and you found yourself annoyed at the statement as a wince filled the air.
âWrong thing to say, bud,â Apollo murmured as you turned to face the entity.
âI havenât needed anyone in a long time, Dark, even prior to meeting you. Lovers are only mandatory to keep one from falling prey to the darkness, much like the Warriors of the Dark did. So, no, I donât need you and even if I did, Apollo is more than willing to step up and take the place you held the last time you were here,â you spoke, watching as Dark narrowed his eyes at the mention of Apollo. âNow, are you going home or not?â
âAnti should be joining us soon,â Dark spoke, turning to face the hallway and you furrowed your eyebrows as you watched him. âThat servant of yours already has rooms for us.â
You looked at Apollo who shrugged at your unspoken question before you turned, opening the drawer to your desk, the book you were looking for sitting on top.
âDonât even think about touching that book, Goddess,â came the warned voice of Dark and you scrunched up your nose, shooting him an annoyed look over your shoulder.
âThe dark spell that was on it has been gone for months.â
âHave you touched it?â He challenged and you scowled at him.
You hadnât. Youâd only been using abilities you had to lift the book and place it in the drawer. Apollo had been the only one, beside Hades and Dark, to touch it.
Twirling your hand, the book began levitating on top of your desk and hit it was a thud. You twirled your fingers, flipping through the pages before finding the one that you wanted.
âHappy?â You deadpanned, doubting he was as you glanced over your shoulder again and you watched the entity roll his eyes before leaving the room. âWhy am I getting annoyed?â You questioned quietly, glancing towards the God and Monstre that stayed in the room.
âBecause you forced yourself to have nothing to do with him and now, heâs back and not leaving you alone,â SĂ©bastian answered and you scrunched up your nose. âDo your reading, niece. No doubt you wonât get a lot of quiet here soon.â
âThatâs an understatement,â you murmured before looking at Apollo. âYou get to meet the one person that I wouldnât mind keeping in contact with.â
âIf it wasnât for the fact that heâs like Darkâs second command?â Apollo questioned with a raised eyebrow and you stuck your tongue out. âHeâs the one that calls you doll, isnât he?â
âThat he is.â
~
âYouâre not by yourself, doll, and it isnât Dark with you,â a familiar voice drifted into the library and you glanced over your shoulder at the glitchy form by your door.
âHello, Anti,â you hummed, returning your gaze to your book. âAnti, this is Apollo. Apollo, this is Anti. You guys met momentarily the same day we met.â
âY/N speaks fondly of you. If I didnât know any better, I would say you were the possible lover instead of Dark,â Apollo offered as you had air push the book closed with a sigh. âDone?â
âFor now. Whoever took care of this book was thorough when it came to knowing everything there was to know about them. I havenât even gotten to their abilities yet. Iâm only on the Warrior of Snakes,â you sighed, plopping down beside Apollo. âWhat do you got?â
âYou donât have much on the demon other than heâs been locked in Luciferâs dungeon, the deepest part of that. Doesnât even say why he was,â Apollo answered.
âI already know all of that. I need to know his abilities.â You pinched the bridge of your nose as another sigh left your lips.
You couldnât focus which was why you had only reached the Warrior of Snakes before calling it quits for the day. You found yourself wanting to curl up under your blankets and it wasnât because of William this time.
You wanted to hide away from Dark.
âCrap. I gotta head out. Itâs almost time for the sun to rise on the other side of the world and itâs the beginning of my week.â Apollo stood, kissing your temple. âGive me a call if you need anything, sweetheart.â
âDo your job, Apollo. Iâll do mine.â
You waved him off as he gave you a salute, teleporting from his spot, and you reached for your tablet.
âYou and Apollo, huh, doll?â Anti taunted as he sat across from you and you rolled your eyes.
âHeâs a flirt like his father. Apollo and I are just friends.â
âBut possible lovers.â
âYes.â
Anti hummed at that as he tapped his fingers against the table, his eyes glancing around the library before landing on you once more.
âDonât.â
âWasnât going to say anything, doll.â Anti grinned at you and you rolled your eyes again, grabbing your tablet. âOkay, so maybe I was.â
âI donât need you getting on me like everyone else.â
Anti hummed at that, tapping his fingers against his chin as the doors to the library opened and your eyes lifted to the reason of most of your issues.
âShould have known you would say hello to her first,â Dark voiced his annoyance and Anti grinned wickedly as he looked over his shoulder.
âOf course. I like her better.â
You rolled your eyes at the statement before you remembered something, standing from your chair. Making your way towards your ladder in the back, you climbed towards the top. Your eyes flirted over the spines of the books there before moving the ladder.
âWhat are you doing, doll?â Anti questioned and you glanced over your shoulder at the two before looking at the books again.
âDemons were once angels. I forgot about that when I asked Apollo to look up Azazel,â you answered, grabbing a few books off the shelf before making your descent.
âA demon is what caused Ivy to panic?â Dark deadpanned and you glanced at him as you set the books down. âThe Sin who has the ability to order demons around?â
âYes,â you answered, opening one of the books. âHer past is similar to mine.â
âSimilar to yours, doll? She was abused by the demon.â
âClose,â Ivy spoke from behind them and Anti turned his head to look at her. âAzazel was an angel and I was about 8 when I apparently caught his interest during a meeting with Lucifer and the Archangels. I liked to roam, he tried to advance himself on me. Michael was the one to save me from him,â she finished, her eyes looking over at you. âThe old man wanted me to speak to you.â
âYes, of course,â you agreed, closing the book. âWe can take this elsewhere if you want privacy.â
âHere is fine.â
You watched as she glanced at the two entities before stepping around the table, holding out a book.
âHe said this may be helpful in your research. Julie had found this book awhile back,â Ivy stated, setting it on the table. âAnd he asks that if you find a way to kill Azazel, to do so.â
âAngel would be the best bet for that,â you answered, reaching for the book before scowling at the hand that stopped her. âFor your information, Dark, Iâve learned to control that ability,â you deadpanned as you lifted your eyes to him.
âTrouble in paradise, Y/N?â Ivy mused and you turned your eyes on her with a glare. âI figured youâll bring it up to Angel, though I still find it funny that you follow the views you had as the Goddess of Life when youâre now the Goddess of Witchcraft.â
âYou say that when Ryan still follows the same views he held, minus some,â you deadpanned and Ivy shrugged, taking a sit, her feet resting on the table. âYou have more?â
âFrom Flinn,â she answered, looking at her nails before sending you a grin. âHe sends a warning. As you know, the Source is technically his parent, so he knows a thing or two.â
âA warning?â Dark voiced and Ivy glanced over at him before returning her eyes to you.
âThey mean harm, Y/N, and if anyone can kill or corrupt the Warriors of the Source, the Light, itâs them,â she spoke and your eyes met hers. âTheyâll want to come face to face with no extra people. It would be wise to gather as much backup as you can, have them wait outside for the right time when it happens. As you know, you have Luciferâs army, my army, and Hellhoundsâ added bull.â
Standing, Ivy met your eyes once more, tilting her head to the side as she glanced at Dark before looking at you again.
âAnd Flinn says it would be best to figure out the lover situation, a word of advice he called it.â
âI figured as much. Issue is, for my lover to claim their mark, it has to be an act of sex or resting after a big event,â you deadpanned before sighing, pinching the bridge of your nose. âIâll figure something out, Ivy. Thank Flinn for me and tell Lucifer Iâll do my best to find a way. Thanks for the backup.â
âNot a problem,â Ivy smirked before twirling her fingers at the three of you. âSee you later.â
Fuck.

âAngel, why-No, no. Let me correct myself. Hades,â Bellatrix turned a pointed finger at her lover, shoving it against his chest. âwhy did you let her speak to your mother? Do you know how idiotic and foolish that is? And to let her act as if she was in desperate need of help! How your mother didnât sense she wasnât in pain is beyond me! We are not in such a desperate need for help that you go to a Titan and not just any Titan, one of the Titans that is after the Frenchâs head!â
âAuntie-â
You fell silent as she turned her pointed finger towards you and you shifted on your feet before you took a deep breath to calm your beating heart.
âItâs a backup, that is all it is. With Monique out, we need all the help we can get. Sheâll try everything she can to curse us and you know it. Having Rhea as a backup plan will help greatly for sheâs old enough to be able to break whatever curse is thrown our way,â you continued, watching as she stared at you. âAnd I was in pain. The aura in Tartarus caused that. I wouldnât willing go anywhere like that unless it was of importance.â
Bellatrixâs lips stayed pulled into a scowl and you shifted on your feet once more, your eyes shifting over familiar faces of the Warriors, their lovers, the Sins, and family. Your eyes swiped over the faces of two entities that seemed to always want to know whatâs going on.
Anti seemed amused over the situation â something that didnât surprise you. Dark, however, seemed...angry. Him being angry wasnât anything new but you would have expected something of annoyance there as well. The meeting was anything but what he should be.
âYou know sheâs right, Bella,â Hades murmured gently, placing a hand on her bicep gently, and you felt a pang in your chest as you watched the two before your eyes shifted away, meeting the green eyes of BĂ©atrice whose eyebrows rose in curiosity.
âY/N, is that jeal-â
âMama, did you figure out how Monique got out?â You cut the Sin of Envy off quickly, turning your eyes to your smirking mother as you felt your sisterâs eyes on you. âMama, please.â
âSame way. Thereâs good reason to believe that sheâs the reason William is back, my dear,â Thana spoke, a sigh leaving her lips. âThereâs only so much I can give them before it kills them.â
You still felt your sisterâs eyes on you and you dared to glance her way, wincing at the knowing glint in her eye.
Y/N!
You physically flinched at the singing voice, eyes falling onto you as you took a step away from everyone.
âY/N?â
Your eyes lifted to Bellatrix whose eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
I heard you decided to not play fair, granddaughter. Itâs a pity really.
âGo away,â you murmured, your eyes falling to the ground.
Now, now. Thatâs a very rude thing to say to your grandmother.
Your hands covered your ears as they began to ring at the sound of her laughter within your mind.
âSis?â
No matter how hard you try, foolish girl, I still know how to create chaos within your mind.
Your breathing was heavy and you flinched at the gentle touch on your hands, your eyes raising to meet the same e/c you had filled with worry.
âListen to me, Y/N. You need to put up a wall,â Thana spoke gently and you shook your head. âSĂ©bastian can-â
Look at him, a gentler voice within your mind spoke. Look at him and focus on him, Y/N. I know you do not want him to know but itâll help. Trust me.
A quiet noise left you as you shifted your eyes towards the entity in question who looked ready to step in for whatever reason. Your eyes met his and you watched mix emotions pass them.
Foolish girl, he doesnât care!
Focus on him, niece. Ignore her and focus on him. Theyâre supposed to be able to calm you, supposed to be able to bring you back from whatever youâre going through, even if itâs a battle within your mind. He may not know but look at him, heâs ready to step in. Somewhere deep inside him, he knows and he cannot place it or understand why. Focus on him.
You felt your motherâs hands slip from your arms as you dropped your hands, listening to SĂ©bastian as you took deep breaths.
You may have won this time, SĂ©bastian, but he wonât always be on standby.
You barely heard Monique say as you help eye contact with the dark entity. You dropped the contact the moment you felt Monique was gone from your mind and you took a deep breath.
âY/N?â
âIâm going to go speak to Juliette and them. See if they know how to put up a wall.â
âY/N.â
âI donât know when Iâll be back.â
âY/N, your aunt is speaking to you.â
Your eyes shot towards Hades who raised an eyebrow back at you before your eyes fell onto the Goddess beside him.
âAre you okay?â Bellatrix questioned, her voice gentle and soft, worry flashing in her eyes.
You felt the usual lie on the tip of your tongue â yes, auntie, Iâm okay. Promise. But, somehow, you couldnât find yourself to sing the same old lie, not with Thanaâs knowing look, not with the only two entities you found yourself okay with looking at you.
âNo,â you answered honestly, your eyes glancing around the room for a moment before returning to your auntâs. âBut I will be, just like I always am,â you promised.
~
âI was coming to see you,â you spoke as you stepped into your throne room, your eyes meeting green ones.
âBellatrix called Lyustifer who called me,â the girl spoke. âHe made comments on visiting with us but Bellatrix said you had some unwanted guests?â
âWeâre unwanted, doll?â
Your eyes glanced towards Anti who decided to join along before returning to Juliette and the Hellhounds.
âDepends on who you ask. I invited them, everyone else disagreed. I see Lia made it safely to you.â
âYes. It seems like we owe you once more,â Juliette spoke and you waved her off with a smile.
âNot needed.â
âMy job as General and my duty as a princesse,â Juliette stated, giving you a bow. âI sense-â
âJuliette.â
You watched as the French Princess scrunched up her nose before shooting daggers towards the new presence.
âDarkiplier.â
âI forget we knew him,â Lia spoke and the redhead beside her snorted. âYou try being trapped in a book, Rafael,â she scowled.
âIâve had darkness within my mind. I can handle a book,â the redhead deadpanned before wincing, rubbing the back of his head. âWhat was that for?â
âStop being a jerk,â Juliette scowled before lifting her eyes to yours. âLyustifer warns that you are dealing with someone again, someone he once helped you with?â
âYes, and they brought my grandmother into this. Which prompts my next question,â you spoke, shifting on your feet. âDid you ever figure out how to block Lucifer from your mind?â
âSadly, no,â Juliette answered, shaking her head. âRafael couldnât either and he had dealt with someone within his mind prior to Miguel. Jophiel minded her own business within Liaâs so we never had the chance to try.â
You nodded, looking at the ground for a moment before lifting them back to Juliette as she tilted her head to the side.
âAura might be able to come up with something. Who is it that youâre wanting to block?â
âJust Monique. Iâm connected to her brother so, in turn, Iâm connected to her. I can put up a wall but doing so blocks communication with SĂ©bastian.â
You watched her nod before looking at the sorceress behind her who hummed in reply.
âI might be able to whip something up. Think I could get a vial of his blood?â Aura questioned, tilting her head to the side as she took her husbandâs arm and your hand reached for your necklace before you looked off to the side where the Monstre in question now stood.
âThat wonât be an issue as long as you promise communication wonât be cut between the two of us. Whether she admits it or not, Y/N tends to need my guidance,â SĂ©bastian spoke and the sorceress nodded.
âThank you. SĂ©bastian will give you what you need. I need to get to the training room,â you spoke, bowing your head in thanks before turning and began walking to the hall.
âY/N.â
You glanced over your shoulder at the Princess who glanced at the Hellhounds, watching them nod, before looking back at you.
âIf you need help in whatâs coming, then count us in. Might shock him to have an angel or two on the battlefield with you. This is coming from Lyustifer and Hellhounds.â
âIâll keep that in mind.â
~
âWhoa, Y/N, take it easy. Hey, hey, hey.â
You heard the Sin of Anger, ClĂ©ment, say but it wasnât until AndrĂ© took hold of the punching bag, leaning around it to look at you, eyebrows furrowed.
âSheâs not angry,â ClĂ©ment stated and AndrĂ© waved him off.
âIâm aware. I think itâs best to call it a day. If Angel wants more training, sheâll let you know,â AndrĂ© spoke aloud, his eyes still on you and you shifted on your feet. âI think we should go on a walk.â
âI rather not.â
âYouâve been questioned and talked to by everyone but me, wonder girl.â
âThatâs kind of the reason why I donât want too,â you deadpanned, heading towards a nearby bench. âBecause itâs been about Dark, about William, about my mental health. And I get why. I get why everyone is worried, why everyone is wanting to talk but I donât want to talk. Talking is making it worse right now. I want to focus on the matter at hand. I want to focus on taking William down once and for all. So, no, letâs not go on that walk. Letâs wait until this is over.â
Your eyes lifted to meet the Sinâs before they shifted to the glitchy entity in the doorway and a sigh left your lips.
âWhat, Anti?â
âI need to talk to you, doll. Alone.â
You glanced at AndrĂ© before you walked towards the entity, following him to your library. You werenât paying attention to where you were going. You were too busy regretting how you sounded when you spoke to the Sin.
Once you heard the door shut behind you, your eyes glanced around the slightly dark room and you frowned when you didnât spot Anti before your eyes were raising to another entity in front of you. Staring at the dark entity, you noticed just how annoyed he looked.
âYouâve been avoiding me.â
There was only one word that came to mind as you stared at Darkiplier, his arms crossed as he waited for you to say or do something.
Only one word â fuck.
