Fingers Through Your Hair

The last thing Rip remembered before dozing off was Into the Woods soundtrack playing softly in the background. The first thing she realized upon waking was the soundtrack had ceased, which meant she had been asleep for at least two good hours, perhaps even three.

The second thing she realized, however, was that someone else had joined her on the couch. The guest wasn't sitting beside her, however, but instead was sitting so that Rip's head was resting in their lap. For a minute, Rip couldn't find in it her to be too alarmed, though that might be simply because of the fingers running through her hair.

A gentle purr began to rumble in Rip's chest as she settled back against the strange body. It had been a long time since someone had pet her hair and comforted her, so long that the last person to do so might have been Rip's -- Adette's -- own mother. 

Eventually, she knew she had to move. Shifting, Rip turned, so she was facing upwards, and slowly opened her eyes -- only to bolt right up.

Alucard. Alucard had been the one petting her hair and calming her and--

The words, "Mein Samiel," caught in her throat.

8.8. Getting/Eating dinner

Dinner with a vampire. Sounds fatal, yet exciting. However, it would be new kind of dinner she had ever been involved in. They wouldn’t eat the same food, she guessed. Vampire needed blood. Yet, she wished she wouldn’t need to join getting it, expecting he would need a donation or a victim.In novels usually, the another participant was food of the vampire’s. Perhaps she was the food? No, she wouldn’t. He would have already eaten her back then she met him.

However, she had accepted the invitation to join him. Even put on her number one, tidy dress and blazer, just in case the count would still hold on old habits.She found herself standing near doorway, waking up from her thoughts she had fallen into while waiting for her company.

Usually a call from Alucard meant one of two things: Integra required their services, or Alucard wanted to call on a favor. And by a favor, she meant something that would keep her alive for yet another day while she figured out how to get out of this alive. But despite her concerned, Rip still answered the phone, bringing it up to her ear.

"Please tell me Sir Hellsing has somezhing for us."
