Dalim Route Synopsis (30th Sep 2021)

One nightーyou meet him. 

"Nice meeting you, my name is Dum. I'm the master of this bar, sweet princess."

Dum "Don't be so wary of me." 

Sirius "You must know why she's wary of you, right? Most Popular Guy of the Central Area."

Fenrir "And don't forget him being the Central's Casanova." 

Seth "Beside being known for making everyone his captive no matter their gender or age, the master is also known for having a weak constitution." 

Dum "But because the princesses will take care of me whenever I have a seizure, it's not really…  bad to have a weak body, you know? Shall I have this princess to take care of me today?"

And so, in an unexpected turn of events, I ended up as a waitress at the bar. 

MC "Since we’ll be working together from now on, I'd like it if you could hold off trying to hit on me." 

Dum "I see you take your work very seriously, I appreciate it. Instead of one of my many princesses, I will think of you as my work partner from now on… as much as possible for me."

To my confusion, Dum put on a bright smile and lifted his index finger up straight. 

Dum "In exchange for teaching you how, I'd like one kiss from you."

I had my suspicions for a bit, but in the end, I offered my hand and said 'Sure.' 

The moment Dum-san held my hand, the corners of his mouth lifted and he briefly kissed the tip of my hand. 

MC "Wh-What are you doing?! 

Dum "It's because you look so worried."

was a lie.

MC "! What are you doing in the middle of this rain? Who were the people just now?" 

Dum "Hmm, I guess they're my colleagues. To be honest with you, I actually have another job. One that I can't tell you, something forbidden."

MC "I want to use my power to protect the people who've been taking care of me here… and then go home when the time comes." 

Dum "It seems that you've made up your mind. How regrettable."

You suddenly found out about them. 

His real name, his real jobーand also, the fact that he is one of the bad guys. Ooo we love a good baddie

MC "So you said that if it's for the Cradle's sake, there's no limit to what you can do?" 

Dalim "To get what I want without having to sacrifice anything is the ideal picture, but the world is not that nice. To earn one thing, you have to let go of something. To let someone live, you have to sacrifice another. Whether it's intentional or not, isn't that what everyone more or less does? "

A huge ball of offensive magic came flying from behind me. 

It crashed into Amon's attack and exploded in the air. 

MC "Kyaah…!" 

When the bright light from the explosion faded, standing there was… 

Amon "You… No way… Did you stand against me just now? Dalim." 

Dalim "....."

MC "What you're thinking about right now, your past, anything is fine. Please tell me anything about yourself, Dalim-san." 

Dalim "...It can't be, have you… fallen for me?"

MC "The kiss just now… What… does it mean?"

Dalim "The kiss doesn't mean anything. It's just because I want to, so I did." 

MC "Why… do you want to kiss me?" 

Using his fingertips, Dalim-san then tucked my hair behind my ear, and slid his finger caressing my cheek. 

Dalim "What kind of answer do you wish to hear from me?"

Which were lies and which were the truthーwhere evil started, and where justice ended.

That answer can only be uncovered by you (MC). 

Because that's the only way he can be saved.

Well, Lance vs. Darim will be interesting. I'd love to see magic vs. magic since both of them are powerful ones...

AND OF COURSE ED WILL GET THE HANSEL AND GRETEL BASED LOL!

So it's 'Hansel and the Witch of Sweets'? I'm not sure anymore kkkkk. Another Ed and Luka! Tbh I'd love to see Ed paired with someone else... But well, they just can't separate our Jacks for too long especially so soon after their birthdays....

And 'The 3 Piglets' for Kyle and Zero pfffft oh man I can't wait to see what it is about!

It's a nice pairing, and I love to see Kyle and Zero even more!

And the 'Thumbelina' (I think this is the english title? I forgot since this is not one I read or hear a lot) for Ray and Mouse... Now that's a pairing I wonder where they came from!

It's nice to finally see new characters in event, but don't do this and then leave them in the dust for months after, please, Cybird!

Deen x Dum story is more adorable than heart-throbbing 😂

Dum is doing magic trick to amuse the MC, and Deen is giving riddles. And they'll do that until one of them got 3 points from MC. They're just too cute with their unwillingness to lose to other party. And in the end MC tried to escape, but both of them caught her and forced her to stay and decide who's the winner 😂😂😂

Harr and Zero... Is. Too. Pure. Oh my god my angelsss! Zero gave MC a tea blend of his making, and Harr gave her an alcohol made from Apricot. And Harr suggested she mixed them with other drinks, so she mixed it in Zero's tea. And they both ended up praising each other 😂😂😂

Anyway, Zero, seriously, don't take all Edgar's words to mind, PLEASE 😂😂😂

Ed and Blanc is so similar lmao while Blanc said he didn't stop Ed because the MC reaction is too cute, I think he himself like to bully her wwww

And yes, I'll take Blanc's suggestion to accept both of their loves ♪♪♪

I was pissed Cybird put the gacha story for the twins BD for sale, and so expensive too! 6000 crystals for one story... Well, my impulsive self decided to buy one of them.

So Deen's is titled 'The Memory that got Erased in the Light', while Darim's is 'The Memory that got Dissolved in the Shadow'. I was going to buy Deen's until I read them, and I decided instantly to buy Darim's instead. I don't regret it, at all.

This story gave me a glimpse of the twins' background story. The opening is a memory about someone, or someones, begging to something, 'Please don't hurt OOO', twice. I'm 99% sure it's Deen and Darim, begging for that someone not to hurt the other. And the memory ends like this:

"...if it means that OOO will got hurt,"

"...if it means that OOO will suffer,"

""I would rather....""

So clearly, the reason of why both of them seems to understand each other so well and even got nicknames once upon a time but have a lot of animosity now, is rooted from this... Moment in their past. It's probably Amon... But I'm not sure whether this explains everything. I'm debating myself right now whether it's worth it to buy Deen's story or not...

I'm pretty sure this is similar to how Jonah and Luka's relationship went, the way Jonah sacrificed himself to protect Luka. And Luka resents him for that. The twins probably wants to protect the other, and that's how the current situation came to be. I'm not sure if both of them are so hard-headed, so instead of working together, both of them try to bear the burden by themselves and hope the other won't get involved. Well, considering I haven't seen any magic from Deen, Darim probably will feel more obligated to keep Deen safe and outside the Magic Tower radar, even at the cost of his life. But it's possible that Deen is like Ray, a hiding magic user, and well, he's a playable character, so I'm sure he did something, somehow. Mouse, Blanc, and Deen is the one I'm looking forward to, since I want to see how they take the moves against the troubles in Cradle.

The way Darim acted in Oliver's route already hinted something about his true motives... But I wonder what it is. He doesn't seem like to fit into even the Neutral's side, so I really wonder what he chases. It really hurts to see this story confirmed my suspicion of him overusing his magic though...

Well, in lighter note, I really love to see Kyle here... He must be exhausted to keep track of our naughty magic users aka Lancelot and Darim, and try to keep them alive. Sigh, really really love Kyle's interaction with literally everyone in the group.

Well, I just need to rant about this, so please take my words lightly. I don't have complete information and if some of you have something more to add or even correct me about some facts, please be free to do so!

Okay, first thing, let me apologize. Deen's story is titled 'Rainy Day's Nightmare that got Erased in the Light', not a memory. And we know why it was titled like that when we read it.

So the nightmare is exactly the same as Darim's memory. Deen seemed to forget about it when he's awake, with little details about his 'dream'. Soo I got disappointed a bit since I hope they'll have a different flashback, but later in the story he gave more info.

So, the animosity... And it's not hard-headedness that got the twins into their current dynamic. It's Deen's memory.

Or rather, the lack of it.

Here, Deen talked about how he doesn't have past memory, how much of them that he lost, he doesn't say... But judging from the memory's way of speech, it's way back in their childhood and so got lost for Deen. Now we know why the title is like that. And it explains how he's very focused on his role as teacher, since for his past-less self, his current life and students are his everything, basically.

And now, from Lance's story, of course we know magic can erase memory... And I'm 90% sure Darim has something with that. Either he's the one who did, or he got some deal with the tower to have Deen's memory erased, and by consequences, uninvolved with the Tower.

But, it makes me think about the pair card story, since Deen remember that Darim used to call him 'Dee' as a nickname. Deen said his memory is a total blank, but I wonder if there's still bits and pieces there left...

Well, while Kyle is the one who knows Darim's condition back in his story, here we have Blanc. Blanc as the scribe must know about Deen's memory... I'm pretty sure his scripts are including every person's personal info haha! Or maybe only those with crime... But it's hard to say that he knows absolutely nothing about the twins past. I wonder what's the rule that binding him as the scribe... Probably something about knowing but don't do anything to influence things... Sigh.

All in all, well, the cliché of amnesiac guy is here, and probably that'll be the main point of his route... Or at least the huge turn point for Deen, we'll see~

Again, this is my opinion just from these 2 stories, so take it lightly! ♪

Now I just can't stop imagining the twins in their childhood, and since their magics are strong, the Tower know and tried to recruit them already. And when both of them refused, the Tower probably try to threaten or hurt them.... And now I'm imagining possibility of Deen saving Darim until his magic ran out just like Lance, and that's why he can't use magic right now. I... Am so hyped for the angst in their route about each other, but not so when I think about the months before Cybird release them. Aah... I can't erase the picture from my head 😭😭😭
