i went to do some ice skating, so naturally i started to think 'how characters would skate'.

anyway,

stav: most elegant on the ice, but overall he doesnt do much. could do fast riding near other people to scare them if he feels like it.

shatov: skates like non-professional hockey player

kirilov: often seems clumsy and gets distracted a lot and could fall, but also out of the blue could do legit figure skating moves and start spinning

petrusha: clumsy on ice, doesnt go fast out of the fear of fall. If he starts to fall, he usually tries to stop himself by grabbing other people, so in the end both fall

dasha: simply good non-professional level, does it confidently, often rides backwards, helps everyone who fallen

lisa: might have went to figure skating school as a kid, so she skates well, could do few simple jumps here and there, also she's more likely to jump while being watched

varvara were good skater, stepan not so much, and he would often accidently fall taking her with him
