i go through so many ideas so quickly that i forget about fics all the time and especially because i've mostly been writing on novlr, i have discovered the following things in different sizes and states languishing in my google docs:

the fic where foggy and marci have a divorce party and matt gets drunk and kisses him that very night despite never expressing any such intentions in their damn lives

the third and final chapter of the fic where karen and foggy get hitched out of sheer trauma bonding after matt dies but uh oh. . .

A SECOND CHAPTER OF THAT GLEE AU LOL

the remnants of the senator fic that i cannibalized because i want to write a romance novel out of it, including some intense research about a timeline that could fit in a state senate and a us senate run and some silly things like this

the crazy ex-girlfriend fic/daredevil crossover i was born to write

the very first fic i started writing immediately after finishing season two that never had a plot

the third chapter of that fic where matt and foggy meet at a party freshman year and just immediately become boyfriends

this masterpiece that feels very of my current era:

“Weren’t they trying to make us believe that they’re not hooking up?” someone asks, distantly behind them, and Matt doesn’t even bother listening to what comes next because Foggy presses him fully against the wall with his body to kiss him deeper.

He tries to track back in his head what got them here but they’re both high and they’d jokingly shared smoke between them that led to lips on lips independently and at some point Foggy said, to someone else, “Friends can’t kiss friends? Is that what you’re telling me? I can’t kiss my friend?” and now Matt’s breathlessly trying to keep up with Foggy’s tongue in his mouth. 

It’s a little gross but it’s also a revelation. Choir of angels kind of stuff.

“Why are we. . .” he starts, gasping out a laugh when Foggy sinks his head down to bite gently at Matt’s neck. “Why are we kissing again?” 

“Honestly, I have no fucking clue,” Foggy says. “I just don’t want to stop.”

The really endearing physique of Stephen Amell is basically the last reason this is still on my watch list. I mean the characters have stopped being interesting a long time ago and all they are doing are just mopping around and whining.

But damn that torso.

Best Superhero Show Award (tie) - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. // Luke Cage

AoS is really the bottle of wine of the Marvel television universe (or whatever it's called). Getting better with age, it definitively shows this season by how they manage to keep the suspense afloat all the while making their characters more and more endearing with bold choices made in the process (looking at you Fitz).

I loved the shakesperian family feud between Maria and Bushmaster. I loved the fact that Shades was more complex than previously thought (and gay!). I loved Misty Knight (duh). I loved that even Iron Fist was actually pretty cool when paired with Luke. Speaking of Luke, I loved the shades of grey he has become. Now, I only hope that they might be a continuation on the future Disney streaming service (one can hope).

Best Comedy Award (triple tie)(oh my) - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend // The Good Place // Brooklyn Nine-Nine

After picking my brain for a while, I could not decide which one between this 3 was the best comedy, so that's 3 for 1! Each one has a lot of qualities writing, acting and production wise with characters that I've grown to love deeply. So happy that I've finally ditched TBBT and Modern Family for something that makes me actually laugh.

Best Drama Award - Outlander

Oh Jamie and Claire, you have the very rare privilege of being one of the rare straight pairing I actually care about. Your time-crossed love affair is worthy of thousands words, which is why I also bought the book version.

Farewell Award - Once Upon A Time

Goodbye Once Upon a Time! You've been a very uneven show quality wise. Sometimes your characters did not make sense, but when they did, oh boy did it felt right. I'm all for finishing the show on Regina being the Supreme Elected-Queen of the United Confederation of the Magical Realms.
