          Getting off the phone with her dad--their fifteen minute conversation wrapping up thanks to a buddy of his showing up--not a moment passed before she was stepping foot across the hall and into Darcy’s apartment. Setting down the jacket she’d borrowed a few days prior, Eden made way toward her best friend. “Dad’s already putting in requests for which of your pies I should take with me next time I go see them.” It wasn’t a surprise, he’d made it clear in the past what a fan he was of her baking. It was more so amusing to her that he’d, not so smoothly, thrown in the request as if she wouldn’t remember to ask before she went. ( @darcywcbb )
