I mean... I guess he could be? Okay that's funny so totodile *is* an option in game for the player character (who Fit is replacing), but its worked out via personality quiz. The personality of a male totodile? Jolly. But then my read of the quiz if I do it that way makes him a turtwig, and I don't think he'd make a very good torterra, you know?

And yes! Madagio skitty!!! I did consider a more serious looking cat, but decided the derpy worked. A little Madoka Magica. The character they replace is a Grovyle in canon, but skitty so much better.

And yeah BBH is just vibing. Its unfortunately not uncommon for people to bring abandoned or orphaned eggs back from dungeons (I'm replacing the fact sometimes you're given eggs as rewards for missions with death rate of people travelling dungeons is higher). He looks after the eggs and as well as daycare for people's kids while they work, also basically an orphanage. Every kid that comes through the daycare in whatever way is his in his heart. Loves the little ones so much. Chats to the eggies in the evenings after Dapper is asleep, making sure they're all safe and warm. Sometimes Pomme too, but the French travel a lot and so she only stays with Bad every now and again.

Oh and I forgot - golduck Baghera.

(You may have seen this one with Des, but my favourite factoid about the au is Pac purposefully gets himself lost in dungeons to make Fit come get him, and vice versa. Usually if their team gets stuck Felps uses teleport to bail them about [Felps, Pac, Mike, and Cellbit are a team], but Pac runs off to hide. Not if its super serious, but his definition of serious is a bit... dicey. One of the others hurt? Pac will leave with them. He's hurt? Hide-and-seek in the murder dungeon which knocks you out and leaves you unconscious in a pool of your own blood if you stay too long. [Felps is buddies with the thing that does that so his team gets longer, but it'll still get annoyed *eventually*])

That makes sense! I was sorta aware of the personality quiz, but I didn't know the answers for it! I don't think Fit really fits Torterra, honestly! I think Cranidos is a better fit ngl.

Ok so I'm working on an au where one of the hermits (haven't decided which one yet) accidentally angers a spirit or something and end result is all the other hermits getting turned into pokemon and thrown into the pokemon world, and they have to find all of them in order for everyone to get turned back to normal and go home.

I only have half of them nailed down, what do y'all think?

Bdubs - burmy or wormadam (little bush with big ol' eyes)

Cub - helioptile, or maybe klang or murkrow? (Mostly based on vibes, though I am So Very Tempted to say teddiursa purely for the pun)

Doc - gogoat (he is the GOAT)

Etho - greninja (ninja man needs ninja mon, though wishiwashi just for the meme would be HILARIOUS)

False - braviary or pidgeot, or maybe morpeko (she be birb, but also symmetry)

Gem - sawsbuck (ye I know she's a pirate now but she will always be a deer in my heart)

Grian - fletchling (look I know just how much lore this man has and how much everyone loves watcher eldritch madness and stuff, but like. The sheer comedy potential of him being just a Random Tiny Bird is too good)

Hypno - hypno (need I say more?)

Impulse - noivern? steelix? Maybe impidimp for the pun? (Yeahhhhhh idk)

Iskall - electrike (lbr, mostly chosen on the basis of electric type + green, like it'll work but idk)

Jevin - grimer/alolan grimer or ditto (goopy slimy liquid dude)

Joe - whimsicott, dreepy, or mime jr (based purely on 'he's just a little guy' vibes)

Keralis - omanyte, maybe kabuto (big eyes and inexplicable eldritch vibes)

Mumbo - blipbug (dapper, smart little dude, but also silly wet cat energy)

Pearl - venomoth or masquerain, maybe lunatone (she be moth, she be pretty, she be moon)

Ren - lycanroc midday form (big ol' fluffy dog)

Scar - espurr, jigglypuff, decidueye, salandit, maybe sableye (silly dude but also HoT GuY but also capitalist conman, the vibes are all over the place)

Skizz - chesnaught or rillaboom, maybe machoke (big guy always ready for a hug dad vibes)

Joel - mudsdale (part bc mud = swamp = shrek, part bc turning the guy who kills horses into a horse is hilarious)

Stress - skitty, bellossum or steenee, maybe ribombee (SILLY PINK CAT but also happy flower lady and fairy vibes)

Tango - quilava or charmander, maybe flareon (blazey burny fire man, though I did consider litwick bc blue fire)

Beef - tauros (beef become beef)

Wells - armarouge (armor man needs armor mon)

Ok, so, I've been trying for too much to think what Pokémon represents best the IkeVap boys and?? I'm clueless H e l p Like maybe Theo could be a Lucario, Nappy an Arcanine, Moz a Glaceon, but honestly? I Do Not Know And I'm Not Sure™️

Truly, I have never been more understood than in this moment 😂😂 I love Pokémon, so it was fun to do this! I just hope I don’t disappoint~

That being said bc I have absolutely no reading comprehension despite appearances, I originally just made a kind of compilation of the Pokémon I thought they would have (if it’s a legendary Pokémon, maybe they’re just Good Bros^TM at least). But given that much of my selections were made on the basis of similarities between each suitor and the pokémon listed, I decided to just add and bold the one that I felt best embodied each character c:

Luna the Skitty, absolutely covered in ribbons

Sparkle the Flaaffy in an attempt to make a popstar outfit with what little accessories I had at the time. The Minccino and the Emolga stole her thunder both times she tried to use her props and I'm still mad about it.

Mirage the Trapinch, Ninja Chef. I'm surprised that a throwing star of all things is used as an accessory and not as a prop.

Nagisa in so many accessories that you can barely even tell what kind of Pokémon she is. I was cackling the entire time she was on stage. The second Panpour on stage WISHES he looked as snazzy as she does.

Sunbeam the Espeon in an outfit I'm surprisingly proud of. The sunglasses look a little to good on her.

Please let Scarlet and Violet have a minigame where you can dress your Pokémon in Some Stuff™ (It's probably not going to happen because I'd imagine it'd be super time consuming to animate 3D models of dozens of props onto 3D models of hundreds of Pokémon) but it'd be neat if something smaller but similar was implemented.
