I read too many of the daomubijichongqi manhua and now Xiaoge seems even more perplexing

Basically I can’t fathom How or Why he decided to become best friends with wu xie and pangzi like?? He’s like “oh you want moon cookies? I’ll go get lost on the moon then bring u back cookies literally from aliens on the moon.” “Oh wu xie mentioned christmas? Here’s literally presents from Santa also Santa is tied up and when you guys make me release Santa I am making him let wu xie keep all the gifts.” “Oh what is a crush? Why is it even being brought up? No I’ve never dated anyone? Wu xie says I can’t count him so I guess nobody.” “Oh wu xie is being bothered by notifications on his phone I’ll just break it - pangzi AHH but it was my phone he was holding!” Pangzi asks for a massage and xiaoge shows up and nearly kills him hitting his back. Xiaoge needs a haircut and just whips out his sword and it’s perfectly cut. Xiaoge needs a haircut and let’s wu xie try, wu xie Wrecks his hair, Xiaoge won’t even look in a mirror he just says it’s perfect.

All three are dressed like empresses for some reason and wu xie and pangzi see Xiaoge and pangzi flirts cause (the running joke) Xiaoge is so pretty always (is that everyone on the planet thinks Xiaoge is intensely handsome), and then Xiaoge speaks and pangzi has an Existential crisis that he just asked Xiaoge to marry him. Wu xie and pangzi get high on purpose eating poison and pangzi hallucinates tons of hot ladies in bikinis and wu xie hallucinates hot Xiaoge in a swimming suit and clings to him the rest of the day, then him and pangzi crash on the same bed and come down and snip at their fool decisions. These are just... the comics..

Xiaoge’s parts are really A Lot though.

I know the comics are like crack canon wise lol but also like?? Just the idea they live together and xiaoge is just. A lot. He comes off like Angel from Buffy or Edward from Twilight or the Doctor at his most from a different planet. But mostly it just makes me???? Like bro if u never even dated or made friends then??? Why did you suddenly get attached to these two??? Is it just wu xie wouldn’t stop bugging you, why?? And even that doesn’t make sense cause Liu Sang bugs you and u don’t care about him..

Also in the comics they live together, and like? In the later books do they get a nice family house to retire in? Cause they deserve it.

Also in the comics Liu sang is still peak obsessed with his idol lol
