THE DANVERS FUTURO - Danvers, Illinois. One of the two Futuro Homes to be found in Illinois (the other is located in Livingston). Less than 100 of these plastic flying saucer houses (designed by the late Finnish architect Matti Suuronen) were made in the late 60s and early 70s worldwide. About 20 remaining Futuros survive in North America. The Huntingtons have seen 6 of these.
