abbe faria makes an appearance and idek he’s either a caster or alter ego (which I would’ve preferred because he could be a merge of faria and dantes’ father because geez how comes dumas allowed you to have two dads edmond)

faria (and by extension Edmond’s dad) does love his son dearly but I also think they have that strong disappointed asian parent energy so I honestly can picture their meeting in chaldea go along lines of ‘oh my son I’m so happy to see you again and well but also what the actual fuck did you do young man I did raise you better than that!’
