or sometimes "teddy ghost" I think. there's a lot of Ancient Phandom Lore that went into the dp ship names, and some of them make more sense than others and there does exist out there a helpful guide, but theirs is one of the hardest to chew lol

I'm mainly looking to draw more bkdk, dannydash, maybe klance again but you can request other ships if you'd like to, just less likely i'll do them.

I just remembered that Dan is the Phandom name given to Danny's evil adult version from The Ultimate Enemy.

Listen. Dannydash sounds like a my little pony okay.

so my teeth are clean and while that was happening I was thinking about how I’d write a Danny Phantom fic

if it was DannyDash I’d probably lead off with a Dash-centric redemption arc. something long the lines of a Phantom inspired turnaround. like Phantom saves Dash from something and Dash tries to be his friend and Danny says he won’t be friends with a bully

“I’m not a bully!”

“I haunt your school, Dash. I know exactly what kind of person you are.”

and that shit hits him hard. cue a couple days later he makes a genuine apology to the trio and they just straight up do not compute. I picture him slowly backing away from them as they just stare 

and after that you can kind of fill in the blanks. Dash runs into Phantom again, and Phantom gives him positive feedback, and then Dash is making friends with Danny and also is shirtless and Danny is receptive

BUT what if it was about Wes? because as much as I love a bully redemption arc, Dash’s characterization is... weak. He’s a blockhead bully with a secret soft (read: femme) side that’s played for laughs. Wes is much better even if only because he’s a blank slate. but Wes has some great notes to work with, and most of all he has the whole ‘must prove Danny is Phantom’ bit, which is just. perfectly designed. like tailor made in a high concept narrative laboratory 

Wes is Lois Lane to Danny’s Clark Kent. or I guess Mary Jane to his Peter Parker since that’s the model. either way, history tells us that it works
