A glimpse into a few of Florence’s text messages with Daniel, all from after they were married 🥰

The sign read Sherry’s; a recently opened diner just across the street from the beach. The bell above the door jingled as Daniel stepped inside, the most recent pop hits filling the area loudly and the smell of delicious greasy fast-food wafting through the air. The stiff shiny leather booths were pastel pink, matching the trim and tabletops and were accented with silver metal along the edges and – for 1958 – was very sleek and modern. The pink was a bit excessive, Daniel thought, but it was a nice place and he headed over to the front counter to greet Jack and Zach.

Instead of doing homework this afternoon, I drafted up a logo for our beloved Sherry’s from my novel Heartbreak Hotel :)
