Thank you @mango-of-the-sea for tagging me <3 <3
1. Why did you choose your URL?
My first url was awesomeamywinchester(I actually joined for Hannibal if you can believe it) and then I wanted a change, so I went to the game I was obsessed with at the time, Saints Row 4. A badass character in the series is Johnny Gat, voiced by the amazing Daniel Dae Kim. And the player character describes themselves as a puckish rogue at times, so I became gats-puckish-rogue
2. Any side blogs?
Have an art blog that I usually post to, called the-roguish-arts, though I haven't gotten around to much art these days.
3. How long have you been on Tumblr?
Started in 2014 and it's the site that I've used the longest for literally anything.
4. Do you have a queue tag?
I don't even use the queue at all
5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?
I saw a fanart competition for Hannibal, and you could only participate by submission to the official tumblr blog, it was only after I made my blog that I realized it was only open to US citizens :(
6. Why did you choose you icon/pfp?
It's my boi John Constantine, I colored a screencap from a Legends of Tomorrow episode that had an animated version of him, albeit in a different coat. He was my latest obsession, though his less-than-stellar storylines in LoT and the way the current actor's (Matt Ryan) amazing portrayal of the character was tossed aside by DC for a new show has made me lose interest in the character.
7. Why did you choose your header?
Is my other boi Clint Barton as Ronin in Avengers: Endgame. I was absolutely hyped for the movie coming out and the header was probably screenshotted from the trailer and edited lol.
8. Whatā€™s your post with the most notes?
It's a little gif set from the Avengers Assemble animated show of Tony Stark and Bruce Banner sharing a fist bump and going "Science Bros"
9. How many mutuals do you have?
I have 14 that I actually recognize now, ppl that I reblog from or reblog my posts
10. How many followers do you have?
170, which is surprising because I post so little original content
11. How many people do you follow?
398. @mango-of-the-sea we have the same amount of people following lol
12. Have you ever made a shit post?
So many. Popular shit posts? Nope.
13. How often do you use tumblr?
Daily or every other day, unless a show I'm watching has aired and I haven't had time to watch it yet, then I don't open the app until I've watched the episode.
14. Did you ever have a fight/argument with another blog?
Nah I don't interact much with other blogs directly, mostly through tags and if I see something I don't like, I just ignore and keep scrolling
15. How do you feel about ā€œyou need to reblogā€ posts?
Occasionally I see the "reblog for artists and gif makers" posts, and admittedly I'm a little biased on that so I do reblog most of that, but if I see posts like moneycat or lucky posts or whatever, or posts that say "If you don't reblog you are bad" I personally ignore those. I can agree with PSA's to reblog to give attention, but the moment you start getting aggressive, it feels rude to me.
16. Do you like tag games?
I love tag games but I'm very slow to get around to them.
17. Do you like ask games?
I do like them, but I don't usually reblog them. Sometimes I send an ask if my mutuals have reblogged them, though always on anon.
18. Which of your mutuals do you think is tumblr famous?
I honestly don't know who even counts as tumblr famous lol. I have been on this hellsite for seven years but I have no idea what is going on.
Feel free to do this and tag me so I can see yours!

MacGyver, episode 118.Ā
There was no new episode last week. So, I pulled out my trusty DVD box set to review another ep. And 118 was a good one! One of the best of S1. Yes, itā€™s the Hawaii 5-0 crossover! I know that, because they expected at least some of the H50 viewers to tune in, they basically re-introduced the characters and focused heavily on Mac and Jack and their friendship. And it was glorious!
The scene on the plane. That was, hands down, the best team scene this show has ever had, when Mac & Jack bickered about Macā€™s birthday. The way Lucas and George played their parts, the way they talked over and around each other in such soft and quiet voices, how they bickered about Macā€™s birthday last year and the year before that, it felt so incredibly warm and familiar and just... soft. Gentle and, I would say, even loving. That scene made it so obvious that they really and truly love each other so deeply. And whenever I feel down, I re-watch that scene and it never fails to put a smile on my face - my header is from that scene!
And then in Hawaii - again, Mac & Jack. When Mac kept coming up with one idea after another and the people around them who didnā€™t know Mac looked so skeptical and Jack asked them to just roll with it and get Mac what he needed... That was, once again, so amazing, Jackā€™s absolute trust in Mac. He looked so incredibly proud of Mac...
Then the Mac-n-Jack and Chin-n-Kono convos. Their scenes were so much fun and from the BTS pics, the four actors had a blast together. I hope that now that Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim are not on H50 anymore, they will guest star on MacG again. Maybe the team could go to San Francisco and meet Chin there? That would be so cool. Or they could come across Kono at some point...Ā
The best scene with those four? When Chin and Kono realized what theĀ ā€œthink tankā€ meant. Or when Kono-n-Mac and Chin-n-Jack discussed their private lives, I love those scenes so much!
And then on the beach, when Mac realized he would have to let the bad guys take an aim at him and you could see the fear in Jackā€™s face. He wanted to do it instead of Mac, the way he pleaded with Mac to let him take his place but Mac was adamant because he trusted Jack to keep him safe. That was wonderful, so, so wonderful!
Though, IMO, Macā€™s plan never wouldā€™ve worked because a speeding bullet is definitely faster than Jackā€™s laser pointing skills. Just saying.Ā
And then the scene on the beach. And the birthday scene at Macā€™s. I loved, no, I adored how handsy Jack was with Mac throughout the ep but especially in those two scenes! The way he patted Mac on the back on the beach, the way he took Mac by the arm and dragged him to the cake...! Goodness gracious, Georgeā€™s acting in those scenes! You could literally feel the depth of Jackā€™s love for Mac and it was so beautiful!
By-the-by: I loved that the show mentioned Monster Trucks, considering Lucas was in the movie Monster Trucks. I love how the writers keep planting these... nudge-nudgy things in the script (George & CSI, Lucas & Taylor Swift and now Monster Trucks).
My favorite quotes? SO MANY! Almost every scene had something lovely or touching or just wonderful in it. So, just one...
Jack:Ā Happy birthday, buddy. Mac: Thanks. Jack: You know, I'd say I love you, but I don't do that stuff. Mac: Yeah, I know you don't, Jack.

Coming Attractions April 2021
Tumblr media
As usual, we present monthly previews of new movies being released. These are the movies that will be hitting your local cinemas (and streaming services) this month:
April 2nd
ConcreteĀ CowboyĀ - Idris Elba plays an urban cowboy in this Western coming to Netflix based on the novel Ghetto Cowboy. The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in 2020 to fairly positive reviews.
Every Breathe You TakeĀ - Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, and Sam Claflin star in this thriller that I know absolutely nothing about. If you told me this movie was fake and an April Fools prank, I might believe you.
April 9th
Thunder ForceĀ - Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer star in this superhero comedy from writer/director Ben Falcone coming to Netflix this month. Jason Bateman, Bobby Cannavale, and Pom Klementieff also star.
Voyagers - Neil Burger, the director of the underrated The Illusionist, helms this science fiction film starring Tye Sheridan and Lily-Rose Depp. The movie looks like a version of Lord of the Flies in space.Ā
There is something else of merit scheduled for April 9th, I just canā€™t remember what it is.
April 16th
Monday - Sebastian Stan and Denise Gough star in this drama from director Argyris Papadimitropoulos. Or since it is a Friday (and not a Monday), you can stay home on this day and watch Stan in the penultimate episode ofĀ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier instead.
April 23rd
Stowaway (April 22nd) - Anna Kendrick, Daniel Dae Kim, and Toni Collette star as three astronauts headed to Mars who discovered an unexpected stowaway on board, played by Shamier Anderson. With only enough resources to sustain three occupants, you can imagine the chaos that will ensure on the spaceship. Check it out on Netflix this month.
Mortal Kombat - Ignore the banner image, the newest adaption of the video game Mortal KombatĀ comes out on April 23rd now, but the marketing department at Warner Bros. has yet to update any of their posters or banners. So the header image is a lie. The rest is true though, the movie will be in theaters and available on HBO Max.
We Broke UpĀ - Aya Cash and William Jackson Harper as a couple who are forced to pretend to be together during a wedding weekend getaway even though they broke up (see the title).
April 30th
Without RemorseĀ - Michael B. Jordan stars as John Clark in this Prime Video film bases on a Tom Clancy novel of the same time. The film was originally set to be released by Paramount last fall, but the pandemic forced the studio to sell the film off to Amazon for release on Prime Video. Check this one out, it looks awesome.
The Mitchells vs. the MachinesĀ - This animated film from producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller is coming to Netflix this month. Formerly retitled Connected by Sony, the film, now with its original title, features the voices of Danny McBride and Maya Rudolph as the heads of the titular Mitchell family who are forced to go head-to-head against the uprising machines.
Now for a quick look ahead to May, my top picks for next month are Army of the Dead, The Woman in the Window,Ā and Cruella.
