So it's now January 2025, and I'm reblogging this post from a nostalgia scroll through my 2013 feed.. this was 2 years before gay marriage was legalized in the US. Yet it breaks me knowing it's still just as relevant today.

For those in the lgbtq community, especially younger users, who are feeling scared, exhausted, overwhelmed, maybe hopeless with how the landscape of the US is looking, take a breath and look at this artist's work. Use this political art as a reminder of a recent past: we had to fight before, and with every step back forced upon us, our continued fighting brought us 2 steps forward. We need to keep that fighting spirit alive, we need to fight for our rights now, resisting the pushback.

Some 12 years from now, I'll end up reblogging this post again (cuz, let's admit it, I'll be on this hell-site til I die). The world will be very different, yet undoubtedly similarities will persist. Help me make the next reblog a brighter message than tonight's; United we fight 🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✊

Definen ganadores de Luchas Asociadas En los Juegos Estatales Conade 2023

Este fin de semana se llevaron a cabo los Juegos Estatales Conade 2023, en la disciplina de Luchas Asociadas con sede el Polideportivo Sur en la ciudad de Chihuahua.

Las y los ganadores por prueba, categoría, división, lograron su pase al Macro Regional de la especialidad, que se realizará del 24 al 26 de marzo en Nuevo León.

En estilo Grecorromano de la categoría Sub 15 varonil, los primeros lugares fueron para Ian Alan Sánchez Hernández (48kg, Chihuahua), Christopher Rubiel Onofre (52kg, Parral), Alan Emilio Valenzuela Pérez (57kg, Chihuahua), así como Leonardo Azrael Ruiz Álvarez (62kg, Chihuahua), en la división 68 kilogramos el primer puesto fue para Gerardo Emir Murillo Rosales de Ciudad Juárez y Diego Arellano Rodríguez en la división 85 kg, representante de Chihuahua.

 En la categoría Sub 20 femenil, la ganadora del primer lugar fue Daniela Müller Villagrán en los 50 kilogramos, representado a Chihuahua, al igual que, Denitsey Yareli Espino Torres (57kg), asimismo, en la división 62kg, el primer lugar fue para Lluvia Raquel Ruiz Arzola de Parral, por su parte, Ana Karen Rodríguez Medrano de Chihuahua, logró el primer lugar en los 68 kilogramos.

When you’re force to leave the place you’ve lived in your entire life, you try to take everything with you hoping to be able to build a new home. That is exactly what’s happening to the people from my country, Venezuela. And it’s not easy for anyone, believe me, I’ve been there.

I am very happy to have been invited to the first illustrated event dedicated to Migrations in Santiago de Chile, in which 4 Venezuelan illustrators and 4 Chilean illustrators will exhibit their original artworks exploring their visions about migration. This is the piece I’ve created.

The exhibition will take place during the third edition of Festival de Cine Venezolano de Santiago de Chile, from 14th to 17th March 2019.
