This blog is going to be a little place for me to post work on my Danganronpa OCs and the narrative I’ve created with them. I plan to eventually make a legitimate game or at least a mimic of one, but that would be pretty far down the road from now.

(I will of course also be posting actual DR fanart, if that’s your thing.)

Anyways, we play as Nyoko Umeda, the Ultimate Lucky Student of her grade who finds herself aboard a cruise ship along with her fifteen classmates. We all know how that goes. oh berdly for sure for sure for sure was a dangranronpa liker. jumping off of the post i rbd earlier about berdly being a tumblr kid, i feel like every mid-2010's tumblr kid either had a very brief or very long dangranronpa phase. it was probably berdly's first experience with "kinning" and he DEFINITELY kinned togami because he thought he was smart and cool and suave

he also definitely did that thing that danganronpa kinnies did where they would intro the start of their personal posts with a corresponding dr sprite according to their mood. this is also the start of berdly's tumblr discourse era, where he would just bash anyone whose headcanons did not perfect match up to his "superior game analysis"

he watched hours upon hours of gameplay but never picked up the games himself (because he knew he would suck at the trials) and did a bunch of sprite edits for his ocs and self-insert character. his self-insert was originally the Super High School Level Gamer, but then when he realized that was title already taken he changed it to the Super High School Level Game Analyst.

kris, on the other hand, had only recently joined tumblr when it was all popping off so they didn't really know shit about anything. they didn't like that the blood was pink instead of red (because humans don't bleed pink blood and monsters can't bleed at all) and would constantly point that out whenever berdly would try to talk about it. kris was probably into warrior cats at the time, so they were a bit...preoccupied.
