I had a dream the other night

Since I'm never going to take the time to actually write an SDR2 musical, I'm just going to post all my Danganronpa 2 musical brainstorms that I dumped on some acquaintances on Discord. Just as documentation.

First of all (and this is genuinely just copy-pasted in the order I said it.), Akane would have an upbeat song like Violet's in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical. And maybe Nekomaru would keep trying to interrupt with a more basic melody, but then she keeps interrupting him back. Gundham’s song would be similar to H-llfire from Hunchback.

Akane's stuff could have shades of Dead Girl Walking (Reprise) from Heathers, if that makes sense. Just a vibe thing.

Plot-wise, I think the Twilight Syndrome Murder case can be dropped to just the envelope of photos, but I'd like to include the Funhouse if possible. (I specified this because I know the stageplay dropped the Funhouse, and precedent makes me stubborn.)

Chapter One:

First scene is just Hajime being confused and meeting people. Maybe we meet everyone through song, where everyone gets a verse to say their talent and their general deal.

Then we have Usami overpowered by Monokuma and Monokuma establishing the killing game. I'm thinking no song for that.

Impostor gets a song where he becomes the leader and encourages everyone.

First murder happens. A song for the trial, where Teruteru gets kind of Patter Song vibes to convey how no one could understand him at the end of that trial in the game. He's constantly interrupted by Nagito and the others.

After the trial, Nagito gets a short song about his bizarre ideology. It's going to get a few reprises later. That's why it's short. (Also, Nagito's song gets cut short by Kaz and Nekomaru abducting him.)

Chapter Two:

Instead of initially not knowing where Nagito is, the group is told the next morning that Kaz and Neko tied him up in the old building, and instead of having Mahiru bring him breakfast just once, it's a thing she does every day. She also still helps Hiyoko with her kimono

There's a song about exploring the new island, basically goes over all of what's there, in accordance with who Hajime spoke to in those places in the game (so, Fuyuhiko gets a verse in the diner, Sonia in the library, etc.) Fuyuhiko is the only character who doesn't sing (yet); he hasn't sung at all, this whole time. Not in a meta way, where he's acknowledging that everyone else is singing; he just doesn't do it.

Akane's song happens here, because it's where she first starts training with Nekomaru. Fast-paced duet where he keeps trying to slow her down.

Monokuma's motive is simplified from a video game to just an envelope of photos.

Mahiru asks Hajime to feed Nagito for her one day because she has another thing to do. He does, and Nagito sings part of a reprise for his song from earlier, but Hajime walks out on it.

Kazuichi brings Hajime in on his plan to crash the girls' beach trip, they find the body. When they find the mask, Sonia gets a song that is superficially her explaining Sparkling Justice and really her getting to be open about her interest in serial killers; there's a lot of creepy lyrical dissonance and I'm picturing it to be like (extremely deep cut incoming) the song "Silver and Gold" from the musical 1619: When Destinies Collide, as far as the general sound and the casually grim lyrics.

Investigation happens, Nagito pops in (and depending on the tone of the musical, his first line when he shows up can be something like, "Hey guys, good news! I've been in everybody's cabin tracing the shape of their shoes!"). The trial happens. They sing through presenting the evidence, except Fuyuhiko still only talks. The reveals happen the same as in the game, and Fuyuhiko's first sung word is just a long cry of Peko's name. From Chapter 3 on, he's a singing character.

Okay, that's as far as I got. Might add more later.

ACOUNT REVAMP!!

It’s nearing Autumn and that means I have to stop procrastinating! So the lewdness is coming back (still accepting sfw asks) and shockingly… Kokichi is back! As is Kanade (along with a genderbent version).

Nagisa Shiota (Assassination Classroom) specifically, my AU of him will still be the main focus. Don’t worry, he’s not too different. Ooo, wait I love this??? They'd make such a fun pair! Slime, I've gotcha! :D I don't know if I achieved scary Ler energy from Kirumi in this one, but I had a blast writing it! I hope you like it!

Gonta Gokuhara was a gentleman, first and foremost.

But Kirumi- she was what Gonta called “the ultimate gentleman”.

Poised and polished at all times, Kirumi seemed to always be cool headed and wise. She defused tense arguments with soothing words and cups of warm tea, and always went several steps above for everyone- regardless if they showed their appreciation or not. Gonta couldn’t think of a time he’d ever seen the ultimate maid flustered or even angry.

Granted- he had heard a rumor or two that she threw Oma into the nearest trashcan when he kept asking her dumb questions- but that was neither here nor there.

Gonta admired her. She made things so effortless, while all his attempts at being more gentlemanly ended in disaster. He still felt bad for the time he tried to push in Shinguji’s seat and slammed him in so fast he bruised a few ribs, or the time he went to hold the door open for Akamatsu and accidentally took it off the hinges. Both parties had forgiven him, but the shame remained all the same.

Deciding what needed to be done, he got up and went to search for the maid. There was only one way to fix this predicament.

“You want me to train you?” Kirumi seemed surprised by the offer, halfway through dusting the various plants in her lab. “Why? I’m not as well versed in Entomology as you are-”

“Oh no!  Gonta wishes to learn to be a better gentleman from you!” He was quick to correct her, stiffening when he saw her flinch. Whoops- way too loud. “Sorry- Gonta sorry. I got excited..”

“No, no you're fine.” Kirumi walked over, patting his arm with the gentlest of smiles. “You’re not even the closest to being the loudest in this group. But really- are you sure you want me to teach you? I’m rather old fashioned in my etiquette, and I’m not the best of teachers around..”

“Gonta has faith in you!” Gonta nodded enthusiastically, eyes glittering. “Please, Tojo-sama. Show me how to be a better gentleman.”

Kirumi paused, considering. Then she sighed with a smile, tucking away her duster as she curtsied. “Very well. I will do my best to teach you.”

“Yay!” Gonta began to cheer.”

“But!” She cut him off, pointing a finger at him. “I’m not gonna go easy on you. No mistakes will be accepted.” Her eyes danced, an aura of danger began to surround her, making her seem suddenly much larger than life. For once, Gonta felt rather small. “Be ready, Gonta Gokuhara.”

Gonta could only nod, gulping down his nerves.

Whatever Gonta had pictured as a result of making a mistake, this wasn’t it.

“Straighten up- now hold that position when you eat.” Kirumi instructed, voice cool and clear. It wasn't the first time she said it, but her tone never betrayed a single hint of annoyance or irritation. “Come, Gokuhara- didn’t I tell you to hold it?”

“Ahehehaha! Hehehehhahahaha!” Gonta struggled to sit up straighter as that dastardly feather duster wiggled against his lower back. The trade of Kirumi’s talent and punishments; whenever he made even the slightest of errors, she’d get him with it! If Gonta were being honest- it didn’t feel nearly as bad as he imagined.

Granted- he’d only ever seen teaching in books and shows where they’d wield wooden swords and rulers. He was happy Kirumi wasn’t that old fashioned. “Gohohohnta sihiihtting strahhahaight!”

“Hmm..yes, that is correct.” Nodding, Kirumi came around to his side, eyeing him. “Now, which is your soup spoon?”

Easy. Gonta picked it up. Kirumi smiled.

“Very good. First course fork?”

Correct again.

“Main course?”

Gonta held them up as she called them. It took a few rounds of feather dusting to get it right, but he felt confident. Pleased, Kirumi nodded. “Very good. Now- here’s a challenge. How do you place down your silverware when you’re taking a break?”

….Uh.

Gonta looked at the plate, trying to recall the earlier positions Kirumi showed him. There were at least five. He dared a peek, feeling anticipation bubble in his gut when she reached for her duster. “G-Gonta thinks…” He looked at the plate and silverware in hand, panicked. “Gonta…Gonta can’t remember.”

Kirumi hummed, nodding. She walked over to him, coming behind. “First- we have finished.” She took his hands in hers, guiding them to show him. “Got it?”

Gonta nodded, she continued.

“This is to signal a break, excellent…didn’t like…next plate. There you are. Makes sense?”

Gonta nodded, feeling a bit more confident. “Yes!”

“Good.”

Then the tickles came.

“Aehahhahaha!” Gonta yelped, dropping the silverware as he tried and failed to block out her hands. “Geahhahhahaha! T-Tohoohoohhojohohoohoho- shahahahahmahahhah! Aheahhahahha!”

“Let’s try this again. Now- using your fingers- what is the signal for finished?” She asked against his shoulder, a laugh in her voice as Gonta squeaked and giggled, curling into himself. “Come on, you know it.”

“Ahehahahaha- F-Fiihihihihnsihed?” Gonta shakily held out two fingers straight.

“Good. Now show me taking a break?”

“Aheahhahaha!” Gonta willed his hands to move, arms too busy pressed tightly into his sides as her nimble fingers danced across his ribs. At times she walked them up his biceps, giving them a few pinches as she went to really get him laughing. “Lihiihihke thihihihis?”

“Close, a little more open..there you go. Good. Now- show me excellent.”

One after the other, Gonta struggled to make hand signs as Kirumi tickled him seemingly endlessly. By the final question, he was breathless and flushed, leaning into the table as Kirumi released him from her clutches. “Ahehehea..ahehahahaa…hehehe..”

“You’ve done well. Even when under stress, you remembered your manners. As is a true gentleman.” Kirumi nodded, leaving briefly. When she returned, she had a cup of tea in hand. For a moment, Gonta wondered if there’d be more lessons regarding it.

“That should be enough for today. We can pick this up tomorrow.” Kirumi nodded as she placed the cup on the table. Then she paused, stiffening all over.

“Tojo-sama?” Gonta asked, surprised to see her so still.

“Oh, pardon me.” She coughed, her cheeks a rare tint of pink. “I seemed to forget myself. I shouldn’t be making assumptions of your future plans like that.”

“Why? I want to come back tomorrow.” Gonta’s words seemed to darken her cheeks, eyes widening a fraction. “You’re a good teacher, Tojo-sama. I feel like I’m becoming a better gentleman through you.” He turned to her, straightening his back and raising his hands. He pointed his fingers in the direction she taught him was “excellent”. “Gonta rates you with an ‘excellent’!”

Kirumi stared, and Gonta carried on smiling. His face cracked when he saw her eyes well up. “Tojo-sama? Oh no- Gonta messed up, didn’t he?”

“No-no, not at all.” She let out a wet laugh, wiping at her eyes. “I’m just- that made me really happy. More than you realize.” She smiled, something new and warm and what Gonta would describe as adorable in her expression as she curtsied. “I’d love to keep teaching you etiquette, if you’ll have me.”

“Gonta wouldn’t have it any other way!” Gonta cheered, making her laugh softly. “For now, let us have tea!”

“Yes…may I make one small request though?” Kirumi asked as she sat down, taking the cup offered to her.

“Hm? Sure, what is it?”

“Please…there’s no need to refer to me as Tojo-sama. I feel like we’ve gotten close well before these lessons. You’re my friend. I’d like you to refer to me as one.” She seemed to shake some in her cup, cheeks hot and eyes averted. Gonta never thought he’d witness such a composed woman so shy.

“Of course…Kirumi.” He watched her relax, smiling in her tea. “But please call me Gonta. We’re friends after all.”

“Yes. Yes, Gonta- we are.”

Viktor Verses

This will be updated as verses are added or developed.

Main Verse

Set in the League of Legends/Arcane universe at any point in the timeline.

PsyOps Verse

Viktor was once a member of High Command, the leaders of PsyOps a group dedicated to protecting the world using their psychic powers. He left after the discovery of an alien gate in the artic which he has become obsessed with getting through it and utilizing it. To that end he became the leader of Black Rose Group and has been perfecting human bioweapontry.

In this verse Viktor has technokinesis which he can use on technology within 700ft of himself (about two football fields away).

Also can be used for crossovers with sci-fi, conspiracy, or military (with psionics/aliens present) based verses.

High Noon Verse

Dr. Viktor came from poor immigrate parents who came to the west looking for a fresh start but only found struggle. He had been looking for a way to save people from death itself by rehousing their minds in bodies made of clockwork, but faced with numerous set backs and his own failing health when the Mechanical Devil approached him he had no choice but to take up the deal and begin working for the devil.

Also can be used for crossovers with any magical wild west verses.

Battlecast Verse

Set in the battlecast verse. Viktor has become the creator and leader of the battlecast army and now is attempting to assimilate all of Runeterra into it.

Riftquest Verse

Viktor of Zaun is a battle smith who once tagged along with an adventuring party helmed by a brilliant paladin, where he ended up doing practically everything no one else had wanted to do. Eventually as his efforts continued to go underappreciated he decided to betray them and race them and their enemies for the powerful artifact they are all after.

This can also be used to crossover with d&d verses. In d&d lingo Viktor is a human urchin artificer (battle smith).

Battle Academia Verse

A second year at Labrys God-Weapon Academy who has fought to be among other future heroes, having incredibly weak abilities which he's had to augment with brilliant technology to keep up with his peers, and hopefully some day surpass them. He is a member of the luminary club.

Superhero Verse

By day Viktor is the lab partner of Piltover's darling Jayce and a renowned scientist in his own right. By night he is Machine Herald, a 'villain' working against the authority of the city through robbery and the killing of key targets.

Can be used in place of my dc verse if requested by dc muses/verses.

Modern Verse

Post university Viktor is working in the field of prosthetics. Heavy wip.

DC Verse

Born in the slums of Gotham city, Viktor was meant for better things, and he felt so did his peers. In his young adulthood he found work at Starr Labs in Metropolis, moving there in the process. Eventually he quit and disappeared off nearly everybody's radar, and in that absence a supervillain, the Machine Herald, has appeared robbing labs and terrorizing cities with his attacks on public figures. Threads can be set anywhere in this timeline.

ATLAS Verse

Set in the main universe of @outofthiisworld (check out their blog for more lore!). He was a member of ATLAS until eventually fleeing the company. Verse still in heavy development. Exclusive to @outofthiisworld.

Danganronpa Verse

He we scouted out from a slum in Russia by Hope's Peak for the talent of Super Highschool Level Cyberneticist in Class 66th. His time at the school was overall peaceful (as far as anyone recalls) and he graduated. In the time since then he's been working on human cyborgs along with service robots, creating Blitzcrank as a proof of concept. Then Tradgy overtook the world, and frankly he found the whole emotional battle of hope and despair stupid, neither would fix the world, his own logic could though. It's funny how apathy comes across as despair...

(Anyone other than Viktor himself would say that he's a despair and the experiments he's turned to are highly unethical at best if not literally a form of torture.)

Apex Verse

Set in the Apex Legends universe. Viktor is an employee of Mercenary Syndicate who's become disillusioned with the group, slowly working against them from the inside and plotting his escape from them.

Universal AUs/Verses:

Plotted 'bad end friend' type aus, depending on the muse they have ended up in a befiting bad fate villainous/victim role. Pre-existing example is my vr-Bart verse where he still thinks he is in a game and doesn't value life due to that.

Vampire aus, depending on the fandom I might have more fleshed out such as for Horror muses or twists to the formual like dc vs vampires inspired for dc vamp verses.

Ghost aus for my canonly dead muses.

Demon au, one muse is a human/witch or whatever, the other a demon. I will say depending on the muse or fandom things might be different, I'll probably end up with multiple demon aus for different fandoms at least.

Selectively post-Zombie aus, I will default to modern day settings unless told otherwise and I will use a Walking dead setup minus the walker name, zombie media would still have existed. I might be low muse or drop these as zombies are a horror I am sensitive to.

DC verses:

DC vs Vampires setup, someone in the super community has been turned into their own brand of vampire with a lot of the classic powers of a vampire and a curse to bring out the worse in a vampire, now the curse is spreading among the super community and to normal people too.

DCeased setup, a zombie-like virus started when technology was infected with a form of The Anti-Life Equation looking at screens was how the first were infected, both supers and civilians, everything is thrown into chaos and those who survived the very beginning now have to survive super powered zombies.

Horror verses:

Reversed role aus, for dbd I think it's obvious how this would work and for others it can be briefly ploted out.

Vampire au, there is a curse with a hunger for blood, it has infected many killers and former human horrors over the years bestowing them common vampire abilities and something special and horrorfyingly their own as a power. There are also humans this curse hungers far more for the blood of, these survivors and would be victims tend to band together as vampire hunters or as ghouls, aka humans who drink a vampire's blood for some weaker forms of their power.

Livevile, the muses have been kidnapped and put in a realm known as livevile, it appears as a small town with everything one could need and which has other horror characters living there. If someone is killed by another then the night will play out as normal but in the morning the dead will return to life. Now the big question is what made this place and why?

Monster Prom

The worst timeline au, this is during the end credits of the Prank Masterz ending of porm, can be canon complient or divite, also characters interduonced later are welcome on my or others side.

Dragon Age

Blighted au, this takes place in a slimmer timeline to the darkspwan dlc of origins where HOF died during the joining and the Blight got much much worse, possibly spreading to the larger world.

Bad timeline au, taking place in the bad timeline seen during the mage siding quest in dai The Herled went missing right before things started getting bad and the world is thrown into horror.

Borderlands verse

A mushroom, able to smemi control the dead and living and bring them to their feet found the body of Tyreen Calypso, who became it's head as a intelligent zombie, now the fungi is spreading among the galaxy as The Raiders try to fight it.

Payday verse

What factions do you headcanon exist post-Tragedy? There's the Future Foundation, Towa City, and the various Despairs, but I don't see anything else about how societies exists in the DanganRonpa-verse, especially with their whole fascination on the semi-supernatural Talent that sorta caused the Tragedy in the first place.

I don’t have exact factions (Mainly because I was a child in 2012, the year THH takes place), but I do have general ideas of what might some factions look like, and what generally said cliques that rose from the collapse would act towards junko. Also headcanons for how some areas might collapse and redevelop.

1.Islamists would be very present in the Middle East. That era was around the peak of ISIS, and I think the tragedy increasing radicalization would only make that worse. Speaking of religious radicalization….

2. The American right-wing “tea party” faction, would be a heavy presence in the former United States. Their cliques would vary from corporatism to outright religious theocracies. Heck, junko’s influence could’ve fanned their flames into facism, being the way the union collapsed in this timeline, akin to the US today.

3. The absolute monarchies collapse. All of them are prevalent on a central figure, ones that I have no doubt Junko would get their entire lines killed to force conflict. This would be a definite way to get an opening through infighting in Saudi Arabia and the gulf states. This also applies to NK and similar regimes.

4.Africa’s borders would be nearly completely redrawn. With the primary motivation for the borders being nobody wanting to move colonial borders, the collapse of Europe would make these borders obsolete. Whatever ethnic tension came up would fracture the post colonial states not only de jure, but de facto.

5.Any multiethnic states are almost completely rended apart. Whether it be one breakaway, or outright collapse, nations like Indonesia, Malaysia, and India would face ethnic violence.

6.Everyone gets a trade shock. The entire model of globalism in the 2010’s would be the equivalent of MAD, one junko would exploit. States like the oil states and Singapore would be hit the hardest, while states with notable sanctions (Iran,Cuba) would ironically be spared from this, although their governments would go through some things.

7.The states aligned with despair have levels in how bad they are. You have cliques who allied with despair out of convenience, and you have 77-B controlled states like Novoselic. Their brutality would vary between, although still be bad, considering the worldwide warlord era. When junko died, many of the less extreme cliques would either have their leaders commit suicide, turned to her side fully, and have less extreme people take over, or outright purge their despairite influence best they could. These states would be accepted back into the world community, to the FF chagrin.

8.There would be a notable split after everything settled somewhat. The FF would face heavy opposition from a myriad of groups, the most notable most likely being of some leftist variety, considering the oligarchic and unequal ideas of innate talent. I could see the FF contesting the very archipelago of Japan with the Japanese Communist Party. Even after post-DR3, where Makoto would definitely want to reconcile with the left, they wouldn’t be very trusting of the FF’s intentions.

9. A ton of city states. Whether they split off from a greater entity, or were forcefully ejected like Singapore, I’d expect for a lot of nations to fracture down to the city at some places.

10.And as my last one, it’s more about how the tragedy (or collapse, as it would probably be known) would be viewed. I’d say the Arab spring would be inherently tied to it, due to similar ways of organizing and wanting to overthrow established regimes. Heck, I could see more reactionary people arguing that the collapse did not begin with the tragedy, but the popular overthrow of the government of Tunisia.

Again, these are just my thoughts on the whole thing, so it’s really up to you.

Hello I’m tasting a lack of Endless Coda-verse fics.

I’m unironically so invested in this April Fools universe, I almost (ALMOST) want an anime of it over Element. I want to consume any media of it and watch Eichi’s direct body count skyrocket in a world where he’s allowed to kill people at his own leisure. I want real, physical consequences to everyone’s words and actions and for the station to look like Danganronpa.

That said, I’m back on my shit, I come bearing a fic idea that I’ll never write. As ever, feel free to take it and use it as you please.

Warnings: Endless Coda story spoilers, leans into immoral villain Eichi, death death death death, manipulation and the like, the dove isn’t dead but it might need a bandaid.

I’m thinking more War Era w the Eccentrics since Shu mentioned 5 Eccentrics, leaning into the first anime’s version of Eichi’s obsession.

Setting likely another older space station, the Yumenosaki if you would. Doubles as an idol academy and a mecha pilot academy.

It follows the War closely at first what w the abysmal condition of the school and student body. Rei is in charge-ish and the clubs still exist, the DreFes fighting hasn’t become popular yet.

Officially the only mecha are one per established group for their leaders (Ryuuseitai’s Madara and Valkyrie’s Shu), the council leader (Rei), and personal ones for individual’s with the money to spend on it (Hokuto, Subaru, Ritsu, Kanata, Eichi, etc).

Once the Eccentrics are established by Eichi, Wataru and Natsume both receive their own mecha. Then, once units are being formed (ex-fine, Knights, AKATSUKI) they supply/are supplied mecha per member.

Eichi’s body count just skyrockets from the get-go. The mecha fight DreFes let him get away with outright murder + the s//c/d/ rates caused by the stress he puts on the students. Look at him, the little go-getter- murdering his way to martyrdom /ref.

And obv there’s the cloning thing. And the implanted memories into the clones. Technically that overrules Eichi being ill but he would have had to be dying at least a little bit when it was discovered.

The plot gets funny once the Eccentrics are formed, pov probably always one of them w smaller chapters for people affected by the war (Nagisa, Hiyori, Tsumugi Aoba, Hokuto, Mika, etc).

The bullying and social isolation all still happen but it’s decidedly worse in Coda-verse since killing and maiming is okay apparently. What happens is that, just like with THAT Valkyrie performance, some if fine’s fans go the extra mile to try and decommission the Eccentrics entirely through attacking them. Eichi never lets it get far and always arranges for something to interrupt so that the targeted Eccentric is always just hurt enough that they can push through it and appear as amazing as ever.

The Valkyrie loss goes more or less the same. It wasn’t a DreFes so there wasn’t any fighting, the audio gets cut, and Shu has his mental breakdown.

Rei’s incidents also are the same, he gets sent to other space station academies to fix issues that people ask him to help with.

Eventually one of these attempts get a little too far w Kanata, happening a little while after Shu’s public humiliation. Someone tries drowning him (the endless puka puka) and nothing stops them this time, thankfully someone else finds Kanata in time to resuscitate him. It can be Mama, Kaoru, or Souma, they’re all valid options for this.

The next time the older Eccentrics meet after that incident, they decide that now is the time to squirrel Natsume away for his own sake. Unfortunately, that means that the number of targets lowered from five to three (occasionally two) and the bullying just gets that much worse.

Eventually comes time for Wataru and Hokuto versus fine (and this is where things get really canon divergent-y). Because that one is a DreFes, they will be fighting in mecha for a 2 v 4. Obviously the odds are against them.

Beforehand, Wataru does say goodbye to the Eccentrics because, just like normal, he knows he can’t win- both because he literally cannot as it’s a losing fight and because that’s what the script calls for, a dramatic climax for the ages. First is Kanata, then Rei and Natsume (the scene in which Natsume tries to give Wataru a different script to save himself). He doesn’t, however, get to say goodbye to Shu who was locked inside of his room.

What’s happening with Shu is one of Eichi’s schemes. I haven’t thought of the reasoning, maybe Shu had recovered himself just enough to still slander Eichi and he decided that just won’t do. So, capitalizing off the fact that Shu has been taking to hiding in his room and locking the door, Eichi has someone (a fan, maybe Tsumugi Aoba, or Eichi himself) lock it from the outside w admin codes so he can’t get out. After all, what could be more crushing than watching your friend get executed right in front of you with no escape?

This is going by a HC I have for DreFes in general both in and out of Coda-verse in which (at Yumenosaki) you can’t change a screen connected to the school’s internet off from the current on-going DreFes. More specific to Coda-verse but I imagine there are cameras in the cockpits of the mecha, just like the obligatory shots of the pilots screaming when something pokes the mecha (I’ve never understood this, the robot’s leg got cut off not yours).

So, with Shu locked in his room and incapable of finding any comfort and with Natsume + Rei watching the fight firsthand (god knows where Kanata is), the DreFes begins. It’s a losing fight for Wataru from the get-go, even moreso because he’s going out of his way to protect Hokuto as needed. Eventually, Eichi or Tsumugi Aoba manage to damage Wataru’s mecha enough that it can’t move, making them the victors of the DreFes. Most of the feeds take an intermission break at this point except for Shu’s.

See, while Eichi’s plot to break Shu more was working to plan, his idea to make to make sure that the feed showed him every moment of the execution did backfire somewhat. Whether or not Shu knows it, he’s the only one to witness Wataru being removed from his mecha unconscious (or dead) after losing before it can be returned to the docking bay for him to be taken to medical if needed.

If he did die inside the mecha, I assume that the usual camera feed automatically cuts off if there’s damage to the cockpit that would harm the pilot since it would ruin the image of Yumenosaki.

So, since Wataru isn’t in the cockpit anymore when the people in docking bay try to get him to come out, they assume as first he’s a sore loser (because blah blah blah slander the Eccentrics), then (while fine’s live is going on) they finally think to check on him in the case he’s unconscious, and obviously when they open the cockpit he’s not there anymore. They assume he ran away.

From there, fine has their final performance and disbands. The Eccentrics are going through it.

Eichi only announces that Wataru passed away the following day due to a gas leak in his Mecca’s cockpit caused by a fuel line rupturing during the DreFes. Natsume is inconsolable and that’s important because of his eventual reconciliation with Tsumugi Aoba.

When Tsumugi attempts to apologize to Natsume and all that (the burning stuff behind the school scene I think), he mentions he can’t forgive someone who helped kill Wataru. Tsumugi drops the bomb that Wataru isn’t dead and is generally confused as to why Natsume thought that he would be. According to Tsumugi, he’s seen Wataru in the council room a few times since the DreFes.

Natsume gets the other Eccentrics (including Shu), much to their dismay that he has left hiding when the tensions have yet to settle. They’re a lot more understanding once he tells them about what Tsumugi has said. They decide to go straight to the council room to confront Eichi and ‘rescue’ Wataru.

They’re both there when the Eccentrics reach them. Wataru is happy to see them but not happy in the sense one would be to see a rescuer and more in the way of seeing a friend. He’s acting like nothing had happened out of the DreFes and a lot more familiar with Eichi than he was before (more like main !-era interactions). The Eccentrics get the sense that something is wrong but Eichi assures them that this is exactly what Wataru had wanted (which he affirms). When asked about telling everyone that Wataru had died, he explains that Wataru was hurt badly and had requested he be disappeared from the stage for a little while to recuperate. (He doesn’t look injured though)

I can’t be bothered to write more but eventually after the Eccentrics leave that little meeting, they splinter more. At some point one of them decides that they can’t just hide by Wataru acting so unusually even for him, they end up finding proof that Wataru was taken out of his mecha, they eventually find more clues to connect the dots, find out that Wataru had died during the DreFes but was replaced by a successful clone of him who lacks the precise memories of the DreFes itself and the animosity it should feel for Eichi, and all the Eccentrics die when they go to confront Eichi. Epilogue is one of them waking up from ‘hibernation,’ implying that they’ve been cloned themselves.

What stays the same throughout all the main trilogy and anime: Kaede has the talent of SHSL / Ultimate Violinist. This is something that will not change. Kaede’s age is eighteen to nineteen, or early twenties if I’m writing her in the Future Arc of the Danganronpa anime. Whilst Kaede is on team hope, in the Future Arc, she doesn’t agree with The 2nd Division and the 6th Division’s simple plan of exterminate all Remnants of Despair and anyone that assist them. Nor did she agree with the 1st Division and 10th Division’s favor in removing the source of despair that exist in human nature ( despite her being in division 10 herself ), having found both options a bit too extreme for her liking.

Non-Despair AU: A non-despair verse, where the tragedy never happened, and Kaede simply attends and enjoys life at Hope’s Peak Academy as the Ultimate Violinist. She’s a year ahead of her younger brother, Haru, who was dubbed as the Ultimate Trackstar.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc: Kaede managed to become a good friend with both Mondo Owada and Kiyotaka Ishimaru, and was absolutely devastated by their demises and Chapters 2 &. 3. Shut down emotionally until finding some sort of comfort with Aio Asahina, having found her personality quite refreshing. Decides she’s not worth it even though he does still love her talent and her design. Despite voting for Makoto in chapter 5, Kaede did not find him or Kyoko guilty of the murder, completely believing that the mastermind set them both up. Went to the same middle school as Hifumi Yamada, but barely remembers him due to the two of them running in different circles. Will not hesitate to defend herself and stand her ground against Byakuya Togami. Whilst he isn’t her favorite classmate, Kaede does have respect for him and as person as well as his intelligence.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair: Being a remnant of despair in the outside world, Kaede actively participated in the concerts the Hiyoko and Ibuki hosted during the tragedy. Using her skills as a violinist to fill people with despair with the music that she played. Much like the others, Kaede was subjected to the Neo World Program, her avatar constructed by removing two to three years of her school memories, making her look and act like she did before she ever entered Hope’s Peak Academy. A kind-hearted and self confident person by nature, Kaede isn’t the type to let anyone push her around, while simultaneously being kind to those around her. She has a liking towards everything cute, which is shown throughout-- especially with how nice she was towards Usami during her time in the program itself. However,  In chapter 3, Kaede contracted the despair disease along with the others who also had it. As well as having a high fever like the others who had the disease, all of Kaede’s self confidence was warped into that of low self esteem and doubt. After the Neo World shuts down, Kaede stays on the real Jabberwock Island with the rest of her classmates.

Danganronpa v3: Killing Harmony: Kaede is a completely different person then she is in the show. In the killing game show, Kaede is bubbly, cheerful, and full of self confidence. In the outside world, Kaede is riddled with insecurities, self doubt, and low self esteem. As well as to be the last person standing, her main goal of participating in the killing game was to boost her self confidence. Due to there already being a Kaede in the group of students - Kaede decided to introduce herself by her middle name, Ichika, when Akamatsu and Saihara introduced themselves to her. She had no intention of revealing her first name to any of the students, especially after the events of chapter 1. However, the truth of her real name was exposed by Kokichi during Chapter 3. When the subject of the motive videos were brought up in Chapter 2, Kaede agreed with majority of the students agreed with the latter decision to prevent themselves being influenced by their motive videos. If she were to watch her motive video? The people on the video would be her younger brother, older sister, and her niece. Along with Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko, she resolve herself to go out into the outside world and see the truth for herself.

Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School ( Future Arc ): Kaede is distant relative of FSHL Blacksmith, Sounosuke Izayoi. But unlike him, Seiko Kimura, and Ruruka Andou; she didn’t get expelled during the incident during the practical exams and actually managed to graduate with her class. Due to being particularly skilled at calming people’s nerves with the melodious sounds of her violin, she was sought out to join the Future Foundation. She was originally the head of the 10th division of the Future Foundation, but subsequently handed the position to Ryota Mitari. While forcefully participating in the final killing game, the forbidden action on her bangle mirrored that of her relative. While Izayoi wasn’t allowed to put food in his mouth, Kaede was not allowed to drink. Kaede was devastated upon discovering the body of her cousin with both Ryota and Kyoko. After investigating his death, the devastation soon turned to rage once it was brought to light that it was Ruruka Andou who had taken her cousin’s life. Which resulted in her nearly decking her in the face, only to be knocked out by Juzo Sakakura in the process. After the fall of the Future foundation, Kaede helped with the rebuilding of Hopes Peak before starting her career as a world renowned violinist for a few years, before deciding to retire and becoming a talent scout for the school.

Imagine. A great bit multiversal meetup of various Nagitos. And it turns out there's at least one verse for every Nagito ship. They end up forming appreciation clubs upon finding fellow Nagitos who share their partner.

The Komahina Nagitos: Unsurprisingly it's the biggest club. Especially considering it overlaps with the Kamukoma club.

The Komaegi Nagitos: Constantly cooing about how wonderful their little Ultimate Hope is. And are maybe just a tiny bit boastful about how lucky they are to have won the heart of Makoto Naegi.

The Komanami Nagitos: Like to talk among each other about how very comfy Chiaki's hugs are, and how she'll wrap them in a warm blanket whenever they have a cold.

The Komazumi Nagitos: Constantly have dreamy looks on their faces as they think of red hair and freckles. Giggle among themselves about how weirdly endeared they are to the word "Geez", and hold a photo of her smiling face close by.

The Komamiki Nagitos: Have a bit of a rough reputation with some of the other "Mikan skeptical" Nagitos that are like "What do you see in her, dude?". Which only makes these Nagitos even more steadfast in their defense of their girlfriends.

The Matsukoma Nagitos: Consider themselves a cut above the other Nagitos, with the most esteemed taste in partners. Having pursued and won the love of God's gift to humanity, Yasuke Matsuda. To the frustration of the other Nagitos, they're not quite sure that they can argue with that logic.

This is fascinating, and right away I gotta say that every group/ship would be split three ways between the reasonably well-adjusted Nagitos in a two-sided relationship with the person, the way, way overzealous Nagitos who are still in a two-sided relationship with the person, and the unrequited Nagitos. (Two-sided, in this case, just means reciprocated; it does not eliminate polyamory as a possibility.)

(One qualifier for that: I don't think the Komamiki group has an unrequited subset. If I were speaking neutrally I would say it does, so everyone can imagine their own scenarios, but in my mind, I simply don't see a world where Nagito is like "Mikan tho" and Mikan is like "No thanks; I've got other stuff going on." I feel like even if Mikan wasn't into him before, she wouldn't turn down affection if she knew it was available. Even in a Mikan-gets-therapy or Mikan-dates-someone-else universe, I feel like if Nagito likes her and expresses that, they would have at least tried it out.)

I think the unrequited Komazumi's and the unrequited Matsukoma's are among the most stable of the unrequited Nagitos. At least, they're closer to base Nagito: pretty weird, highly problematic, but nice enough and generally un-swirly.

The unrequited Komanami group have some fairly normal-by-Nagito-standards ones, some slightly more quiet, slightly more passive-aggressive ones who are coming from a place of "I wasn't expecting her to like me anyway, but this reserve course student she's dating is so beneath her, in a way that messes with both my inferiority complex and my superiority complex," and some who watched Danganronpa 3 happen and are A Problem. Unless we're assuming no Tragedy, which...come on. 😏

In fact, a more productive way to divvy up the Komanami's is: the ones who saw Chiaki die and were in a relationship with her; the ones who didn't see her die and were in a relationship with her; the ones who saw her die and weren't in a relationship with her; and the ones who didn't see her die and weren't in a relationship with her. The ones who haven't seen her die are being warned by the ones who did. The ones who didn't see her die and weren't in a relationship with her now feel their life's purpose is to stop her from dying, even if it means dying in her place. The ones who didn't see her die and are in a relationship with her aren't much better in that regard; it makes sense of their place in the luck cycle. Honestly, thinking of it that way, that whole group would be a problem. Don't let them group together, lol.

Speaking generally, the pre-Tragedy unrequited Komaegi's would be fairly cute about it and the post-Tragedy unrequited Komaegi's conflate acts of love with his already-extremist hope agenda and take the lack of reciprocation as a given, so they'd be a handful to say the least.

I think another fun thing to consider about the Komaegi's is that there would be some of them going "DO YOU KNOW THAT HE'S THE ULTIMATE HOPE?" to the others. Like, the subset that are unrequited pre-Tragedy and just treating their crush as a regular crush could get radicalized so fast by the unrequited who either have post-Tragedy reasons to view Makoto as the Ultimate Hope or the pre-Tragedy who just have convinced themselves that he's the Ultimate Hope independently of any killing game stuff.

And I don't think the comparatively-well-adjusted Komaegi's who are in a stable relationship with him would do anything to mitigate that. Some of them might encourage the radical behavior, just like "I'm pretty normal now, but I agree that he deserves someone to be weird about him."

I think the controversial issues for the Komaegi group are just how they feel about Makoto's friends and sister. Like, I think there are ones who genuinely think Komaru is fairly cool and ones who will smile and say Komaru is disappointingly ordinary.

Already answered but since you didn't say "no yuri" or "no girlkissing," THAT! I have talked at length (and will likely talk again, and if you get me going I will talk about it forever) about how fandom is generally very centered on the experiences of male characters, and as someone who just isn't that interested in male characters most of the time, it sort of puts me on the outskirts of some fandoms and groups. These days, most of the fandoms I enjoy interacting with in my daily life are things like Utena, GWitch, exactly one half of Alien Stage, and tons of smaller communities that fit a similar profile (female character focused, often with some amount of f/f-centric content, arguably on the smaller side as far as fandoms go).

Tumblr is a big mix of things, though, and obviously the tiny fandoms don't get much representation here, which is fine - I obviously like things like Danganronpa and Persona and the like, and enjoy writing in those canons. That said, what always makes me happy to see on my dash is other people writing f/f ships hahaha. It's pretty rare to see, in my experience, but trust me, when it happens I am always nodding in extreme approval.

For my blog, it's actually very zen for me to work on my pages - character pages, verse pages, even updating rules or whatever. I know a lot of people are dash-only these days, but I still like the feel of a blog, and my girlfriend made my theme for me years and years ago so I really enjoy sort of just hanging out on the pages and plugging away at whatever things I have to update. It's obviously solitary, but I like that sometimes as a little break from the dash, just working on my blog on my own things.

As for my dash, it's the people that have been around for a long while, whether that's longtime partners and friends, meme blogs that I've followed forever who are still making things, things like that. Things are always moving on tumblr rp, even in small corners like this, with people leaving or starting up, switching blogs, remaking, tumblr breaking and features being taken away or added. I've been on tumblr in some capacity for like, sheesh, 12 years? 13? and this blog for maybe 6-7 years? I don't even know at this point. I like the change and I like the ebb and flow to a point - that's why I'm still here and not writing elsewhere. Still, there's something pleasantly familiar about the things that haven't changed too much, too.

Kokichi is a liar. You can safely assume a good 90% of the things he says to your muse aren’t true, so take his words with a grain of salt.

Multi-ship with ships occurring in different verses.

NSFW mentions will be possible mainly because Kokichi chooses to be an inappropriate gremlin. This means suggestive threads at the most. I won’t write smut.

The nature of DR makes backstories for characters very open. That in mind, my headcanons for Kokichi’s past (and what memories I’ve decided are real or made up) are my own ideas, and so I don’t intend on claiming they are “right” or the only means of interpreting him. :) Just the way I write my version of him.

AUs: (summarized)

Pokemon: Kanto/Johto region Leader of a “villainous” team called D.I.C.E. D.I.C.E. is a very small organization (~10 members) comprising youth who go out of their way to cause trouble and pull pranks. Kokichi claims D.I.C.E. is huge to anyone who asks him, and he makes them out to be far more formidable a group than they actually are. D.I.C.E. team outfits match up with Kokichi’s default wear: white coats, checkered scarves, clown masks. Kokichi and his team travel anywhere across the world but originate in Johto/Kanto. They’ve caused many problems specifically in bigger cities such as Goldenrod. Team: Mimikyu, Nidoking, Sableye, Banette, Polteageist, Gengar

Genshin Impact: Mondstadt No Vision Orphan affiliated with a small group of rowdy kids/teenagers calling themselves D.I.C.E. Mainly stays close to the city of Mondstadt, but can potentially venture out anywhere (realistically) with his group of "misfits." D.I.C.E. does not pose too big of a threat. Most of them are just misbehaving kids who steal and cause trouble just for the fun of it; only a few have Visions to create more destruction than usual. It's well-known across Mondstadt by now that D.I.C.E. is just a group of meddlesome kids, but Kokichi will lie and say they are so much more to any other nation not familiar with them. Abyss Order–level bad. D.I.C.E. doesn't have an official "hideout," but they tend to take over hilichurl camps and use them as temporary lodgings.
