Kris has started dancingout of the blue. and singing a stupid song.

"The wenis is a dance!"They're just... going. no matter who looks their way. "Everybody is a genius!" That placid expression is holding as they dance to this... silly song. "Who knows it in advance!"

Maybe that glimmer of eye-contact before the silly song and dance continues shows some... discomfort? or perhaps it's just your imagination. either way, they're doing it again, as if thinking maybe someone might... join in?

Ep 10 has a scene with the SJ gang going to Malaysia to shoot ‘Dancing Out.’ Oh my days, can you even REMEMBER ‘Dancing Out’!? It feels like centuries ago!! Back when Kibum was considered one of the good dancers and was always in the middle and got lots of cam time. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get over Kibum’s fall from grace.

Ep 11. Heechul’s surprise party. Each of the squad has prepared gifts for him, but he’s only allowed to pick three. He chooses Kangin and Kibum’s gifts immediately, without a second thought, and dawdles a bit as he wonders who he’s going to pick for the third and last one. Eunhyuk comes over and tries to talk him into picking his, ‘Look, mine’s huge!’ Heechul waves him away and ends up picking Hangeng’s, to no one’s surprise, really. 

Interesting choice, and I think it says a lot about how Heechul felt about his band members. It makes one wonder how he felt when Kibum’s star fell, and when Kibum left SMENT for good last year.  And I’ve just realised something creepy too: out of Heechul’s original gang of three, two have left SJ and SMENT for good, and the third (Kangin) has been indefinitely suspended from all future activities whatsoever. Either Heechul has a bad influence on his close friends in SJ, or he tends to pick the ones who don’t get along with SMENT. Poor Heechul, it does look like all his friends have left his life.

It turns out that Donghae and Eunhyuk’s gift boxes were empty. Heechul looks genuinely disappointed. Siwon, meanwhile, prepared a T-shirt with Anna and Eva’s faces on it, and Heechul, back to his chipper self when he realises it’s not another empty gift box, says heftily that he’s glad he didn’t pick Siwon’s gift. 

I don’t know how much of this scene I want to believe. Either this was all a giant setup and Heechul picked the three filled gift boxes on purpose, or their group friendships were so obvious that he knew Donghae and Eunhyuk wouldn’t go to the trouble of preparing presents for him. Food for thought, as always.
